"Renee," Bella exaggerated, in a long drawn-out way. "Pray tell, what was of such urgency that I was summoned from the library during my free time?"
Renee Swan was not amused by her daughter's mocking words, even though she should be used to her daughter's attitude by now. At some point over the last few years, Bella had gone from a young girl eager to drink in everything Renee had to teach her, to a sullen and disrespectful teenager.
