Silent Hill: Forgotten Sister

Chapter 9: Erika vs. Alex pt 2.

"Brother!" Erika cried with joy as she ran up to me and hugged me.

I noticed as Erika ran up to me, I noticed her change in clothes. She wore tight black Adidas sweats with black socks and a very small and tight crop top that looked like a bra but it wasn't. Now I know my sister is pretty busty...

"Oh!" I said as I received her hug.

"I missed you!" she cried out. "Where have you been all my life?"

"I missed you too?" I said unsure of as I hugged Erika back.

Erika gripped me hard. The herbal tea and pills must be working then, I thought. I kind of hope Erika forgot about the incident earlier. If she did, then I might consider being nice again and start fresh again. I looked over at Lisa and she gave me a thumbs up. I smirked.

The bruised eye girl girl finally let go of me and she sat down on her knees.

"How are you doing?!" she asked with joy. "I'm assuming bad cause you're wearing an oxygen mask but that's okay because I have one too. See?"

Erika pointed at her mask.

"I see that," I said.

She giggled and she switched positions. She sat down on the floor Native American style and looked up to me like I was the most interesting thing ever. I know I am hehe.

"So," said Erika. "Talk to me!"

"About?" I asked.

"Anything!" replied Erika. "Work, life, Josh, Shepherd's Glen. Anything!"

"Work is going fine," I replied. "I work at Randy's store, remember him?"

"Mhm," nodded the brown haired girl "His wife had yummy treats!"

"Yea," I said.

I'm surprised Erika remembered that far of her memories.

"Life is going well, Josh is doing okay, he's in high school," I informed. "Shepherd's Glen is doing okay. Same old town stuff."

"I see," said Erika. "But I can't believe Joshua is in high school. He must be a freshman."

"Yea," I said.

Erika and Josh have a two year difference.

Erika smiled. Her smile was beautiful...out of this world. Even though she is crazy as hell, her smile is amazing!

"Do you go to school?" asked the bruised eye girl. "Like college?"

"Nope," I replied. "I've been working ever since I got out of high school."

"Does it suck?" she asked.

"Sometimes," I replied. "It depends on the people who you work with."

"Oh! Who do work with? Elle? Jeff?" questioned Erika.

"Uhh yeah," I said uncomfortably. "How do you know them?"

"You're so silly!" giggled Erika. "They used to come over to the house a lot, especially Jeff. Remember?"

"I do remember," I said.

I remembered Jeff and Elle came to the house a lot but I do not remember Erika ever being there when they came over. It amazes me that Erika remembers my friends.

"It's been forever," stated the brown haired girl. "How are they doing?"

"They're doing just fine," I informed. "Jeff is weird as usual and Elle is the same."

"Ahh," said Erika.

Honestly, I did not want to go into full detail about me and my friends because I don't want to upset Erika. I know for a fact that she doesn't have friends in this place. Who would want to be friends with a psycho in the first place?

"Well," said Lisa.

Oh shit! I thought. I totally forgot about her. She made me jump in surprise.

"It seems that you two are getting along just fine," informed the green eyed nurse. "I'll leave you two be. If you guys need anything, just call me. I'll be outside."

"Ok," said Erika.

"Thank you," I said.

As soon as Lisa left, Erika stood up and walked behind me. I turned around to face her so I can continue the conversation.

"Enough about me," I said. "I want to learn about you."

Erika looked through the glass door and after a couple of seconds, she locked the door. What? I thought.

"Hey," I said. "Why'd you lock the door?"

"Jesus Christ, shut the fuck up," complained Erika as she faced me with an annoyed look and reached into her right sock. "God you annoy me so much…"

Well then…I thought.

"Well well," I said. "That was so fake of you, I've should of known you were going to be a bitch."

"Herbal Teas and duotine do not work on me," informed Erika as she took a pocket knife out of her sock. "The staff is so dumb. They know that shit doesn't work on me but they still do it because they're in it for the money."

"Why are you ignoring my question?" I asked annoyed.

"I'm not done with you," replied Erika angrily. "I still have a fight to finish with you."

"What the fuck is your problem?!" I asked angrily.

"YOU ARE!" yelled Erika. "You have done so much shit to me in the past, I still hold grudges. You are a horrible man!"

I rolled my eyes.

"I really don't care," I said. "I am done with you. Honestly, I did not want to come up here and see you but Lisa insisted and I only did it for her."

"Lisa, Lisa, Lisa!" moaned Erika. "Jesus Christ! If she told you to jump off a cliff, would you do it?"

"I-

"Of course you would!" interrupted Erika.

I rolled my eyes.

"Ok, whatever," I said. "At least I have someone that cares about me unlike you."

Erika walked towards me, grabbed me by the shirt and met face to face with me with her fist in the air. She looked me dead in the eyes with anger.

" . .!" the brown haired brat said with anger.

"Oooh I'm scared!" I mocked. "What are you gonna do if I don't? Kill me? You failed the last time and you almost killed yourself."

Erika grunted in annoyance and she attempted to push me back but I was quick enough to get up. I forgot about my ankle and it hurt like a mother fucker.

"Fuck…" I softly moaned.

The brown haired brat grabbed me by the collar, took off my oxygen mask and held the knife on my right cheek.

"Are you scared now?" Erika asked angrily.

"LISA!" I called out.

Hopefully she heard me. If not, I am screwed and I don't want to deal with Erika.

"Lisa!" mocked Erika. "You're so funny for calling Lisa to help you. It's between me and you! You and I!"

Erika quickly sliced the knife against my right cheek.

"Ah!" I yelled in agony as I grabbed my cheek.

I looked at my hand and I was bleeding.

"Jesus!" I yelled.

I was too distracted with the blood that Erika kicked me in the balls, again, and I fell on my knees. With all this pain, I was about ready to cry.

"Hey!" called out a familiar voice. "Open the door!"

I noticed behind Erika, Lisa was standing by the door, banging on it and trying to get it open. Erika turned around to look at Lisa and then she turned back to me with a disgusted look.

"You're so weak for calling Lisa," the brown haired girl commented in an annoyed tone.

I was done. I've been at my breaking point for so long. I couldn't do it anymore. I had to do it. Slowly, I got on my knees, gripping my balls.

"AHH!" screamed Erika as she kicked me in the face.

I fell back and I lost conscious for a moment. Copen was not lying about Erika being an MMA fighter. She hurts!

Speaking of her, that brat flipped me over and sat on my hip and stomach.

"I," punched Erika. "HATE," punched Erika again. "YOU!"

With her final punch, she punched me in the eye and oh my god it fucking hurt. I never cry but at this point I wanted to. I can't really do anything because my head and my arms hurt. I can guarantee that I have a concussion now. Fucking A man! I thought.

Erika held up her pocket knife towards my neck. Jesus Christ! I thought. This bitch is beyond crazy!

"Any last words before I finish you?" questioned Erika angrily.

If I couldn't beat Erika physically, I can probably do it mentally and emotionally.

"Beware of he who took them," I started off. "He goes by many names; the Boogeyman, the Shadowed One but all are he, the same."

Erika stopped and looked me dead in the eye. She made this look that read, 'you better not say it!'

"For every sin a child has," I continued. "Must be a punishment to bear. Your friends are now beyond our reach; trapped deep within his lair. And if they take what is not theirs, there can be no doubt. He'll stretch their skin until it snaps, and all the blood drains out."

"STOP!" screamed the brown haired girl as she began to cry, "IT'S NOT FUNNY!"

"Remember to always behave, for sins he won't abide," I said. "He wields a rusty jagged blade to cut out your insides. The lying little children with souls selfish and small, will find their wriggling tongues cut out and nailed to his wall."

Erika got up and screamed as she ran to the corner of the room. After a moment of laying down, I sat up and lied on the floor. I crawled my way to the wheelchair.

"The bullies and their spiteful wrath will find torment as well," I continued. "Soon he will strike them where they stand and drag them into hell. Child, you must obey your parents; do everything they say. Little ones who do otherwise, he tortures in the flames."

I grabbed onto the wheelchair and sat myself down.

"SHUT THE FUCK UP!" cried Erika as she covered her ears. "PLEASE!"

"Beating cleanse the soul, they say, and that is what he'll do," I said as I rolled towards Erika. "If you don't control your anger, then you'll feel his anger too. You are the keeper, remember it always. Or else the Boogeyman will chain you underneath the waves."

Erika looked up at me with a sad, depressing look. Then she screamed.

"HE'S COMING!" she screamed.

The brown haired brat quickly got up, opened the door and ran out. Lisa ran in the room with a worried look.

"What the hell is going on?!" she yelled.

"And while the good children live, the bad ones cannot escape their fate," I continued softly. "For once you hear this screeching wail, it's already too late. So do not cry aloud at night, stay hidden in your bed…or the Boogeyman from Silent Hill will come chop off your head."

. . .

1:44 a.m.

"Ouch!" I cried as Lisa rubbed wet cotton swab all over my bloody cheek.

"I'm sorry," said Lisa. "But you need to be cleaned up."

"I'll be fine," I said.

"No you won't!" the blonde nurse said angrily. "You took a bad beating from Erika."

"I'll be fine," I said again, annoyed as I grabbed Lisa's wrist.

She stared into my eyes.

"I'm sorry," she sighed. "I wanted to help clean you up."

"It's okay," I said. "Don't worry."

"Okay," nodded Lisa.

It went quiet. Lisa and I were back in the room that I was sleeping in earlier. She tried helping me clean up but I didn't want that. I wanted to go home as soon as I finished that whole scene with Erika and honestly, I was annoyed with Lisa. I can't believe she made me waste my time like that.

I was sitting on the bed putting back on my normal clothes.

"I found your backpack in the patient visiting room," Lisa broke the silence. "All your belongings are still in there."

"Thank you," I said as I was buttoning up my pants. "I appreciate it."

"No problem," said the blonde nurse quietly.

I grabbed my shoes and put them on.

"I know you don't want to talk about this but I am curious," stated Lisa. "What did you say to make Erika cry? That's the first time in years I've seen her like that."

"Oh yea?" I questioned. "Since she is sooo scared of 'The Boogeyman', I recited the summoning of the Boogeyman poem. My parents would always recite that poem whenever I never behaved."

I tied my shoes and made sure I double knotted them.

"I see," said Lisa. "That's crazy."

"Yupp," I said as I stood up.

I fixed my clothes up a little bit and grabbed my backpack. I rummaged inside to get my cellphone and my car keys.

"It was nice seeing you," I told Lisa. "I'm going home now."

I made my way out of the room and walked in the hallway. Before I made it to the elevator, I heard Lisa call out.

"Wait!" she yelled. "Let me walk with you!"

I sighed.

. . .

Lisa wanted to walk me back to my car and I don't want to be rude with her, but I gave in and let her. She probably wanted to talk more about Erika but I don't. I am done with the both of them. Ever since the whole Boogeyman poem with Erika, I have no clue what happened to her. I don't care either.

As we were walking, I was checking my cell phone. I got like about thirty messages and ten missed calls from Jeff. I got three missed calls from my parents. I got one missed call from an unknown number. I sighed.

"What's wrong?" asked Lisa.

"Oh nothing," I replied. "Just a lot of messages and missed calls."

"I see," said the blonde haired nurse. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry about everything."

"Huh?" I said. "It's not your fault. Don't worry about it."

It actually is but I don't want to fight, I thought.

"I feel bad though," informed Lisa.

"Don't," I said.

"It really sucks to have your sister around," commented the blonde haired nurse. "I don't get why she is so violent and negative."

"Yea?" I questioned. "Why does it suck?"

The blonde haired nurse said nothing. She didn't nod either. Maybe she is scared that if she says yes, I'll hate her or judge her or whatever. I wouldn't care to be honest. If Lisa hates Erika, then good! Erika deserves all the hate out there.

I sighed.

"C'mon!" I urged. "You can tell me, I won't judge."

"It's just…" paused the blonde haired nurse.

Lisa paused to think about it. I kind of feel bad for asking now, I thought. Since Erika is such a shitty person, I just assumed she makes Lisa's life horrible.

"Look," I said. "If you don't want to talk about it, I understand. I'm sorry for bringing it up."

"No no," said Lisa quickly. "It's ok. I'm just trying to find the words to describe it."

"Is it really that bad?" I couldn't help but ask.

Lisa and I arrived at the parking lot next to my car. I saw her white Pontiac on the other side.

"Pretty much," stated the blonde haired nurse. "It really sucks ass. You think it'd be easy because it's a normal nurse job, but it's not. Everyday has a new story to it."

"Well yea," I agreed. "I figured it wouldn't be easy because you have to deal with psychopaths such as Erika."

"Let's see," said Lisa. "I have to deal with psychopaths, murderers, suicide victims, suicide survivors, your sister, doctors, nurses and many other people that piss me off."

Well shit…I thought. With all these people and all this stress, it makes me wonder if Lisa has gone insane yet but I doubt it. She is too gorgeous to go insane and I don't believe that gorgeous people are insane.

"I'm really sorry to hear about that," I apologized as I unlocked my car door. "Have you considered applying to another hospital?"

"That's another problem," informed Lisa. "I can't leave the hospital because I have nowhere else to go. I'm late on most of my bills and yea…"

At this point, I could not give Lisa any help or tips or anything. She is literally in deep shit but I am not judging her because I am also in deep shit. At least she lives on her own while I am still stuck at my parent's house.

The blonde haired nurse looked at her pink watch.

"My apologies for bullshitting with you," apologized Lisa. "It's pretty late."

"You think?" I said sarcastically. "It's one in the morning and it takes like three hours to get back to Shepherd's Glen."

"I'm sorry," said Lisa.

"Don't be," I said.

"Well, call me when you get home," stated Lisa. "Please?"

"Yea," I nodded. "No worries."

"Thank you," Lisa softly said.

I got in my car, started it and rolled the window down.

"Next time you're in town or something, we should get lunch," I informed.

"Sounds good to me," replied the blonde haired nurse.

"See you later," I said.

"Drive safe," informed Lisa.

"Always," I said.

. . .

5: 38 a.m.

I finally arrived at the house. Before I went inside, I looked in my car mirror and my face looked like complete shit.

"Jesus!" I said softly as I sat back in my chair.

Erika is very violent. I have no idea what I am going to tell my parents. I know for a fact that I won't mention Erika. I'll probably lie and say something like, I got jumped at a McDonald's in Brahms. I don't know but I'll figure something out.
