Sorry for the mess!
At Olympus
The gods themselves were shocked by the magnitude of the power, they felt. It seemed as powerful as the Olympians themselves .Zeus, the god of paranoia, ordered Artemis to take her hunters and immediately look for the creature that had escaped from Tartarus and eliminate it .Hades and Poseidon were also ordered to look throughout their domains to see if they could find the monster responsible for this. Hermes was sent to the Greek camp and mars to the Roman to make them aware of the prospective threat.
Artemis P.O.V
The hunters would be waiting to hear more about tremendous jolt. But how I should tell them? That it was something that scared me even? Not to mention that the things I am scared of can be counted on fingers of one hand with fingers still remaining! The younger ones probably don't even realize the implication of this! They would be too enthusiastic in proving their worth and engaging the beast whatever it is, I can't endanger them! Something must be done.
"Gather around all of you! You all have questions regarding the jolt you felt recently! Rightfully so too! It seems that some kind of beast has escaped from Hades realm, part of it! We being better than those demigods are to find out more about its whereabouts! However we all should keep in mind that this is a recon mission. Hades will deal with his subjects the way he deems fit. Fire away those questions!"
Oh boy! The look Thalia gave me was one that called for trouble!
At Camp Half Blood
Hermes suddenly appeared alongside Chiron and whispered something in his ear. The old centaur nodded gravely,
"Young heroes! You have nothing to fear! It seems that some monster has escaped from Tartarus. Artemis and her hunters will be taking care of it! No need to panic!" Hermes informed the shell-shocked demigods before disappearing.
At Camp Jupiter
Their patron, Mars, emerged on the Praetor's hill and addressed the campers,
"O brave Romans! This was a mere monster which would be dealt by the Olympians! So fear not!"
At Olympus
Apollo suddenly felt something and he ran to the throne room. He fell down on the throne room floor and became unconscious. He started speaking in static voice.
"The fallen shall rise
The darkness shall emerge
For the rulers be powerless
By the one who learnt
The secret of their lives"
He became silent again losing conscious and leaving an open-mouthed Hestia behind. A council meeting was called but none of them had a clue what the prophecy meant. However Athena did have a theory that it had something to do with the power surge they had felt.
A few days later
Artemis P.O.V.
We had a rough idea that the monster was somewhere near Los Angeles but we could not trace it. Not even the wolves were able to trace its scent. I also had the feeling as if we were being watched. As if despite us knowing it was here we were the ones with the disadvantage. The wolves suddenly started howling and ran towards city. Of course we all followed.
They suddenly stopped bear the suburbs and THAT was when we were suddenly attacked by a group of Empusas and Cyclops. We had been TRICKED!
We got rid of those monsters and it was then that I had a glimpse of a humanoid figure on top of a building. He just vanished suddenly, assuming it was a he. And the way he vanished wasn't like we gods do. Dark tendrils embraced him and he was gone. It could have well been my imagination if it was not for the feeling that washed over me and rendered me helpless. The feeling of utter powerlessness.
Olympus was facing a threat so powerful that it would be hard defeating it. Even with the help of the demigods!
A/N: And the story ends! Or part 1 of it.
