Say You Love Me

Chapter Two

My mom would fucking kill me. I may have only been in Charming for three days, but SAMCRO had reached to the City of Trees time and time again. Dad had a case a few years back where a biker had turned up dead, in an unmarked grave, with all of his tattoos blacked over. All I heard for weeks was 'Sons of Anarchy' this and 'SAMCRO' that. Oh if he could see me now. I was a good kid. I did my homework on time, didn't mouth off much unless one of the folks started it, and I had practically raised Steph since she was born. I was 9 years old when she was made her appearance. Mom popped out Steph, went back to work six weeks later and I became the permanent baby sitter. I never get to do anything because both of them are always busy with work related shit and someone has to look out for Steph. I deserved a little something to myself, even if whatever I was doing was illegal. It's not like I'm doing drugs. I thought Jackson was hot as fuck and the fact that he even talked to me just elevated my feelings about Charming as a whole. I walked up the driveway to the house and let my self in through the garage. Mom's Chevy wasn't there next to my jeep so I knew she wasn't home. Which I had a feeling would be a reoccurring event even more now that we were in Charming with everything going on with Dad. I took my shoes off and went to check on Steph upstairs. I cracked her bedroom door open a little bit and cringed at the fact that her walls were still just plain white. She just had her furniture set up so far. She was in bed snoring with the TV on and her blankets half on the floor. I turned off her TV, tucked her in and shut her door on my way out. No teenager should be responsible for raising their younger sibling just because their parents are always busy. I have been doing this for seven years, don't get me wrong I love Stephanie, but it feels like there is just this hole there that I can't fill. I head to my own bathroom and take a quick shower. I don't like sleeping in anything besides a t-shirt and panties so that's what I throw on. I start to put cocoa butter on my freshly shaved legs before I remembered that I had to text Jackson.

Hey Jackson, it's Shay. I'm sorry I didn't text you earlier. I had to check on my sister but I made it home safely

I set my cocoa butter back in the drawer on my nightstand, switched the lamp off, and started channel searching. My phone vibrated as I clicked on True Blood.

Glad to hear that Shay Bear. What are you up too?

I smiled; I wonder how old Jackson was. I knew that he'd have an issue with me being 16. The way he looked, he couldn't be a day over 25.

I just hoped into bed, I'm watching True Blood.

I hit send and then sent a text to my mom to see when she would be home, she said that she knew for a fact that she wouldn't be home until late tomorrow morning. Looks like making breakfast for both Steph and I before I drop her off at school. I wish someone would make me breakfast for once.

All tucked in and ready for bed? Gotta get up for school tomorrow don't cha? ;)

SHIT! HE KNOWS I'M STILL IN SCHOOL. I set the phone on my nightstand and didn't respond back to his text. After ten minutes my phone went off again. I answered and before I could ever speak…

"Hello Darlin," he said deeply as my heartbeat went completely insane.

"Hey Jackson…so…how did you know that I was in school?" I asked him trying to keep my voice as normal as possible.

"Shay Bear, you look like a grown woman but I could tell by talking you that you are not a day over eighteen. " as he exhaled I could tell that he was smoking.

"How young do I seem Jackson?" I was nervous, I knew for a fact I was grade A jailbait and with my folks doing what they do, that made everything twice as bad. But then I remembered how he looked at me at the ice cream parlor and how hot I got and I just went with it.

"First off Babe, you can call me Jax. None of this 'Jackson' stuff….and I'm gonna guess that you're eighteen? Am I Right?" Jax asked.

I started snickering on the phone.

"What? Was I right?"

"No Jax…Your off by a few." I told him

"Up or down Bear?"

I loved his nickname for me.

"Um… down Jackson," I heard him moan lightly as I was talking to him.

"How old are you Bear?"

"Guess Jax," I told him laughing. Jax growled at me.

"Shay, be a good girl and tell me," he said strongly.

"I'm…um I'm sixteen Jax." after that came out I kept my mouth shut and just waited.

"Jesus Bear, you don't look like a sixteen year old. Shit….are you serious?"

"Yes Jackson, wait a minute you still haven't told me how old you are? I don't think that's fair" I told him pouting.

"I'm twenty-eight, Bear. I'm old as shit compared to you." Jax said laughing.

"No, Jax I'm pretty sure you could keep up with me. Does this mean we aren't friends any more? With the whole age difference thing?" I asked him. Prepared to lose the first person that I actually connected with in some way in this town.

"Yes, Bear. We are still friends….not the type of friends that I had hoped to be. but yes we are friends."

"What kind of friends did you want us to be?"

"The kind of friends that will have to wait until your next birthday or two because your mom would have my nuts in a jar." Jax laughed.

The kind of friends that…OH I KNEW HE LIKED ME!

"Could you handle that Jackson? Until a birthday or two from now? I don't think you can honestly. I saw how you were looking at me earlier "

"I'm sure as hell going to have to handle it. I don't really have a choice here Bear. I don't want you to get in any type of trouble and if we did do what I was thinking about doing when I was looking at you, you'd defiantly be in trouble," he sighed.

"I don't mind trouble, I'm pretty sure I'd be okay Jackson. I can behave, I promise!" I told him.

"What are you doing tomorrow? You should come over for dinner so we can test that 'Bear said she could behave madness'" Jax asked me.

"I'll be at school until 2:30 then I just have homework, my mom usually picks up Steph when she gets out of school at three," I told him hoping I didn't forget anything.

"You wanna meet me at my house after school? You can bring your homework over, we can just talk, I'll cook and we can just get to know each other. I have a pool in the back yard. We could go swimming to if ya wanted," Jax said.

"Yeah sure. All of that sounds good; I'll head to your place right when I get out. Can you text me your address?" I asked him, already trying to plan what I was going to wear for tomorrow.

"Can do, Bear. Have a good nights sleep Babe."

"Thanks Jax, Good Night," I hung up my phone, threw it on the nightstand and screeched into my pillow. I can't believe I'm going to his house tomorrow. I just have to remember to behave myself or… at least try to behave myself.

NOTE

There will be no present day Tara and/or Thomas. I honestly can't stand her and I kind of would like this story to just focus on Jax and Shay. Tara, Wendy, and possibly Abel will be mentioned as things that have happened to Jax in the past. With the flow of this story I figured it would be easier if Jax didn't have any children and it would be easier to write with out the Teller Babies (I still love Thomas and Abel though, bless their hearts)
