Okay...a few reviews, yet this is enough for me to get inspiration to bring in the next, and final chapter, and this time Kirigiri and Naegi's infiltration in the cartel comes to a screeching end, as they have finally reached the final phase of their undercover work, yet things will show how their relationship progressed once you read the chapter below.
Ch. 9: Kan'nō-tekina Shunkan
At their rented inn, the scene shows that Naegi and Kirigiri are kneeling on the bed, both locked in embrace and are kissing passionately, having realized their feelings for one another, and in the midst of their actions passion overtook them as he slowly raised the hem of her skirt and caressed her creamy thigh. At the cartel's headquarters, the "Super High School-level Salesman" was talking to the cartel leader and told him of what he discovered, and informed him that the cartel's existence is in jeopardy and revealed that Kirigiri and Naegi are actually spies and probably have gathered evidences that would pinpoint the drugs' hidden areas, and the cartel leader is starting to take the "Salesman's" word for it and a heated discussion took place on what to do next and how to save their cartel from being exposed to the authorities even after having so many protectors.

"You see...I told you I'm not making things up..."
"Those two...so they turn out to be your schoolmates from that academy..."
"And not only that...Killgill is actually Kirigiri...the "Super High School-level Detective"...and she fooled us real good!"

By then the cartel leader came up with a plan and told "Salesman" that he will arrange an emergency meeting and will see to it that if "Killgill" and "Nago" are indeed spies in disguise, then he will let "Salesman" decide their punishment, in which "Salesman" smirked as he will get his chance to get even against Kirigiri for turning down his advances, and against Naegi for interfering, and he awaits the cartel leader's plan to come in to motion.

Kirigiri thought about it as Naegi is listening, and in the end she accepted it and tells the cartel leader that she and Naegi will be at the meeting place in an hour, and closes the line, and there she told Naegi about what is about to happen later, in which he nodded, and she told him that they have to prepare themselves as this would be a crucial moment for their undercover work, and this time they may get the chance to see who the cartel's protectors.
