Hey guys! I know it's been a long time since I've posted anything, but life has been really tedious lately. Still trying to fund my marriage to my beautiful fiancé who is actually the one who has been pushing me to write more chapters. She has been drawing bits of my story and is even going to start her own spin off comic. Please visit her DeviantArt, ponchoninjax3, and give her some support. If she gets enough, she is willing to illustrate my stories, which would be awesome. Anyway, I would like to get back to regularly updating these stories, (at least this one, for now). Hey, if 50 shades of grey can get its own movie, maybe so can I.
The blazing sun began to set on a particularly hot day in Konoha. Yoko, an elderly shop-keep, was having quite a tough time managing her shop. It was on days like this when all the customers in her district would come meandering into her shop just to enjoy the free air conditioning. She had the hardest time trying to get a sale. The heat made everyone's tempers short and Yoko was short-tempered to begin with. She hadn't made a decent sale all day and she was considering closing up shop early to get out of the heat.
Naruto stumbled through the shopping district with a hop in his step and a pocket full of coins. He has spent the last month gathering up loose change he found in alley ways in order to buy his very own first set of ninja equipment. He passed by several shops eyeing the merchandise as he strolled past. His eye caught the gleam off a freshly polished shuriken. It was the large 4 sided variant that he had seen the Jonin practicing with.
His eyes brightened in wonder as he stared into the shop, gazing at all the high level ninja tools on display. He took a tentative step through the threshold of the shop looking over his shoulders as he did so. Seeing that the coast was clear, Naruto wondered throughout the shop marveling at every shiny weapon his young eyes fell upon. Finally he came across the large shuriken he had seen from outside. He stood before it for a few moments looking for some kind of price. His heart sunk as he saw the amount. It would cost him his entire month's saving.
Naruto shook his head, shaking his doubts from his mind. He was going to become the greatest ninja in the village and if this is what the older ninjas used then he would use it as well. As he reached up to take the shuriken off its stand there was a large, shrill yell from across the shop.
"GET OUT!"
Naruto turned towards the noise and was met with a red-faced elderly woman wielding a broom as if it were a bat. "Get out of my shop right now, you demon….thing!" The woman screamed out, breathlessly trying to channel her fury.
Naruto's demeanor changed instantly. His boyish grin slide off his face and was replaced with a cold hard grimace. He was used to this kind of reaction. People would avoid a shop if they knew the "Demon child of Konoha" had been there so this was something Naruto had seen far too often. He took one last look at the shuriken in front of him and then turned towards the exit.
CRACK
Naruto's head erupted in pain as the end of the woman's broom met with the back of his skull. He spun towards his attacker, his fierce instincts kicking in. "I said GET OUT!" Yoko shouted as she wound up for another strike. Naruto was ready this time and he quickly ducked as the second swing came at the side of his head. The broom's momentum couldn't be stopped and it flew over Naruto's head and crashed into a glass display next to him. A dozen glass shards fell to the floor next to Naruto as he took a cautious step away from the panicked Yoko. Her fury only increased at the destruction of her wares. She raised the broom over her head preparing for a third strike. She took a step towards the retreating Naruto and her foot slide on a large piece of glass. Yoko lost her balance and came crashing down onto the pile of glass with a loud yelp.
The combined noise was enough to alert a few people shopping outside and their gazes turned towards the shop in curiosity.
Yoko picked herself up off the floor and looked down at her outstretched hands. They had been cut on the glass and were dripping blood onto the floor. She looked up at Naruto with pure terror in her eyes. "HELP ME! SOMEBODY, PLEASE!" She cried out as she collapsed backwards away from the bloody glass.
Naruto was frozen in shock but his ears picked up the sounds of hurried footsteps rushing towards the shop. He turned on his heels and bolted out the shop and through the gathering crowd. He ran through the streets as quick as he could until the sounds of the shopping district were far behind him. He wiped the tears from his eyes and kept running….
Naruto awoke from his slumber in a deep daze. It was rare for him to dream of his past. Especially since he started sleeping next to Hinata. Being near her at night gave him a sense of calm. Sunlight began to creep through the night causing Naruto to squint his eyes. Hinata stirred in the bed next to him and Naruto rubbed the water out of his eyes so he could get a better look. He smiled softly as he watched Hinata's face contort into a wide yawn. His heartrate skyrocketed, however, when she started to stretch and her shapely body parts became more pronounced. Her back arched pressing her large breasts into the air enough for Naruto to get a quick peek down her shirt.
He quickly averted his gaze as Hinata opened her eyes sleepily. She turned towards Naruto and smiled as she saw that he was awake and trying very hard to not look at her. She gathered her courage with a deep breath and leaned in towards Naruto. His eyes got big as he noticed her presence. Hinata closed her eyes and puckered her lips, laying a single kiss upon Naruto's mouth. She pulled away slowly and let out the breath she had forgotten she was holding. Naruto immediately recoiled with an even more shocked look on his face.
Hinata raised an eyebrow in confusion.
Naruto smirked sheepishly. "You have morning breath."
Hinata gasped and her hand flew to her mouth in an unconscious attempt to prevent another breath to escape her lips. Her face burned with color as she silently cursed at herself. She just had to go and ruin a perfect good morning kiss with Naruto by having bad breath. She looked up at Naruto and was horrified to see him stifling a laugh. She felt the corners of her mouth twitch towards a grin, but she managed to force her face into a stern frown.
Naruto noticed and immediately straightened up. Hinata closed her eyes and took a deep breath regaining her composure when she felt Naruto lean closer to her. She peeked one eye open and spied him looking at her mouth. "What is it?" She asked mocking indignation.
"I'm just making sure nothing died in there." Naruto teased mercilessly. He broke into a jovial laugh and rolled onto his back. Hinata tried to hold her frown, but she loved his sense of humor too much. She gave in and let herself be swept in by Naruto's good mood. It wasn't long before both of them were laughing hysterically, rolling around together in their tent and mock wrestling.
Hinata managed to top Naruto, pinning his waist between her legs. They both were breathing heavily and looking into each other's eyes. Naruto felt his heart skip a beat as Hinata slid her hands along the sides of his body towards his arms. She let her finger nails drag up his body up to his face coming to a rest near his ears. But as soon as she ran her fingers along his ears, Naruto burst out laughing and recoiled from Hinata's touch.
She looked at him in astonishment. "Are you ticklish?"
"No!" Naruto cried out in a mock horrified tone. He covered his ears with his hands and tried to squirm away from Hinata, but she held him in place. An evil grin spread along her face as she tickled under Naruto's armpits forcing him to pull his arms down and reveal his ticklish ears. It was a no win for Naruto and he quickly found himself at the mercy of Hinata's tickle onslaught. The couple laughed and played for a time that seemed like hours, but they soon ran out of breath and fell onto their backs. They looked sideways at each other with a gleeful joy in their eyes. A feeling that neither one of them had experienced with another person.
A few moments passed in silence before the air became awkward and Naruto quickly stood up. "I guess I should let you change…" His words trailed off as his gaze swept up and down her supple body. Hinata caught the glance and blushed slightly. Her heart hammered in her chest, but she couldn't help feeling a little bit of womanly pride at her alluring frame.
Naruto tore his gaze off of Hinata and strode out of the tent. He took a deep breath of fresh air and focused his mind away from the lingering memory of Hinata's curves. His stomach was still doing back-flips but he feared this was coming from the apprehension of shopping. How was he going to keep this anxiety from Hinata? What kind of guy is afraid of shopping?
Naruto took another deep breath and calmed his nerves. He could do this. This was for Hinata. He would see this through no matter the cost.
