Hey Guys ^^ Quick Disclaimer, I own nothing of One Piece, though who wouldn't want to right? I'd bring Ace back faster than you could say "Kaizoku Oni Ore wa Naru". And without any further ramblings.

Enjoy!

Law had lost all sense of time, all he knew at this moment was the sheer horror that came with the cloth upon his face, the utter hell that followed it and the absolute determination to keep Luffy-ya as far away as possible from these savages, even if it meant keeping him with the Stupid Bird Brain.

Law's lungs were screaming at him to take deep breaths and replenish them with the air he was forced to deny them. However, he was unable to fulfill that request no matter how desperately he tried to breathe through the stupid cloth. No matter how many mouthfuls of air he tried to swallow in the sparse moments of relief he was given, Law could not regain what was being cruelly taken from him.

He was helpless. The feeling of being unable to help himself in this situation was driving him insane.. he hated that feeling. He loathed the feeling of utter helplessness. It was too similar to that time.. no it was the same as THAT time.

Needless to say that Law was a mess at the hands of his enemies.

Terror had quickly risen in his chest, clawing and shredding at every fiber of his being as soon as he began to endure the suffocating madness.

After three calculated attempts to get him to give away the location of Luffy-ya, the sessions of suffocation became more frequent and lengthier.

By that point Law was screaming, he was crying out, hoarse and incoherent words that were gargled and made less distinguishable by the water that was rushing into his lungs, but he remained true to his resolve, pushing the thoughts of the boy's location to the farthest recess of his mind.

Again the rag was pulled off of Law's face and he was able to rise out of the nightmare for a moment. He was left gasping, ragged breaths taking in all the air he could, his eyes no longer seeing past the glare of the lone lightbulb ahead of him. And again he could hear the washed out voices, though he was no longer able to place coherent words to those voices.

Law was loosing his sense of reality and time gradually. How long had he been strapped to this chair, where had his strength gone? His hands were numb from struggling against the bindings that had managed to cut deeply into his skin, blood flowed freely down from the cuts and streamed onto the floor where water and blood mixed into a light pink puddled mess.

Though even through the ordeal, a small microscopic part of Law that was still able to think began to wonder why he was reacting in this manner. Never before had Law lost his will in dark situations, yet the water and darkness alone were reducing him into a mental mess.

Then there was the screaming, what was he screaming for? Was it for help, was it in anger, frustration? He had thought himself mentally stronger than this.. yet here he was at the threshold of loosing his sanity.

Law had no answers for the small bit of himself that told him to get a grip, to not succumb to the terror that had already grabbed him in its unforgiving claws as fear ensnared his soul wringing it between its talons and shredding his soul apart.

'Pull yourself together, Law!' that tiny rational part shrieked.

Just then a raven haired head appeared again, accompanied with those cold calculating blue eyes. Law's heart stopped in his chest skipping two beats before it began to race, his head shaking violently until a pair of strong callused hands held his head in place.

The cloth was wrung once more, and through the pounding sound of his heart , Law could hear the soft sounds of drops falling onto the puddle below.

"No... NO!"

Law's protests fell on seemingly deaf ears as the cloth molded itself to his face and the water followed.

'Help me! Help me please... Don't leave me with them Cora..'

On the other side of the wall Nami looked away from the screen, she had been able to watch for the first half hour, but soon it had been too much, even Franky had been unable to endure witnessing the torture of the Surgeon. That had left Robin and Zoro alone with the dark haired captive.

As the time began to creep by, Nami was forced to do the one thing she hadn't wanted to do that night, she began to think about their actions. Was their doing right? Even if it was for the sake of a friend they all treasured?

Nami was now nursing her second cup of coffee as Sanji murmured reassuring nothings by her side.

"This will be over soon Nami-Swan, I promise you."

"Don't promise me such things Sanji, he has been in there for two hours now, going through that..." Nami trailed off and her shook her head. "

"What are we doing Sanji? I want Luffy back. I miss the stupid idiot, but what are we doing?!" she asked suddenly turning to the blonde male next to her. "And when it's over what? We'll just kill him? Release him so that he can come back with his Family! The Family! We're missing our Captain, there would be no way we would stand a chance against the Family Sanji."

Exhaling a puff of smoke, Sanji snubbed out his latest cigarette onto the overfilled ashtray. "He should be giving up any moment now Nami-Swan, and if he doesn't. We'll change our tactic. We will get Luffy back, and I swear to you I will keep both you and Robin-Chawn safe from every danger that dares come your way." The blonde promised in a voice so fierce, Nami found comfort in it, even as she saw his eyes trailing back to the screen to where Zoro approached the Surgeon.

"The thing that bothers me though, is why hasn't Luffy escaped by now. Three weeks and no one has seen him since the accident. These guys must know that Luffy is more valuable alive, and no doubt they seriously underestimated our idiot Captain, so what gives?"

A sneeze in the darkness.

Luffy stifled a yawn as he clutched Bepo to his chest once more, and rubbed lightly at his nose. 'Maybe I'm catching a cold', he thought to himself as this was the sixth time he had sneezed that night.

Luffy was still anxious that Torao hadn't returned to the room and that there was still no sight of him, though a warm feminine voice that belonged to Violet had knocked on the locked door earlier and promised Torao would be home soon.

It was only then that Luffy had been able to come out of the corner of the room and let himself relax just the tiniest bit.

Violet had always been the most kind to him out of Torao's entire family, and he trusted her when she said he would have Torao back soon, even if that promise had been made two hours earlier.

All Luffy had to do now was wait for them to find Torao. The smallest hint of a smile touched Luffy's lips as he had a thought. "Maybe he got lost like Zoro, eh Bepo." he whispered to the bear.

There it was again, that simple four letter name he knew was easy to remember, just Like Nami... and Franky, Sanji, Chopper... now there was a funny name for someone. Robin was cool, and so was Brook, but he still thought Usopp was weird. Luffy chuckled as these names popped into his head, who were these people? He still couldn't remember, but their names no longer made his head hurt as they had two weeks ago. They actually comforted him and made him smile sometimes, he really liked those names and how they felt on his tongue.

"Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Chopper, Robin, Franky, and Brook."

Torao had once said that writing down the names and trying to place them to a person could help him remember who they were, and get him over his mental block.

This was how Luffy got the idea to stand up and walk over to Torao's neatly organized desk, 'Where did he keep the spare sheets of paper again?'

Once Luffy was done searching through the desk, he sighed, none of the sheets he saw were blank and could possibly be important to Torao. There was, however, a drawer he couldn't get into because it was locked. Maybe that's where Law stashed his blank sheets of paper?

Placing Bepo on the wooden desk, Luffy rummaged once more through the room and found a small pair of keys in Law's bedside drawer.

"Ah ha, found you." Luffy smiled and momentarily caught up in his actions was able to forget his worries for that moment as he went back to open the drawer. The small lock gave way with no hesitance at all, and Luffy rejoiced at his feat, taking a seat in Torao's executive spinning chair and opened the locked drawer.

Inside, Luffy began to notice nothing in there even resembled liuve a fresh stack of blank papers. They were all patient files from Law's work place.

Sighing and beginning to close the drawer to look elsewhere, Luffy paused. A single file stood out to him, almost as if calling out to him. Luffy had to work hard to swallow a rising lump of fear down his throat as his blood ran cold.

The file tab read, Portgas D. Ace.

Buffalo was behind the wheel, his shoulders were hunched and wary as he glanced from each mirror, to the road, to the rear view once again, and to his passenger.

"Keep your eyes on the road." Doflaimgo said curtly after he had caught too many glances sent in his direction.

The tension in the vehicle was so palpable and obvious it was making all of the other members extremely weary of the blonde man sitting before them. Being the second in command, Vergo placed a hand on the blond's broad shoulder.

"Calm yourself Doffy, you're putting the brats on edge. If these people value their lives at all they'll leave Law alone." This was the warmest Vergo ever spoke in public, but Doflamingo was able to catch his meaning.

"Yeah, yeah believe me I'm keeping my cool Vergo, these troublemakers will receive every ounce of my wrath." He vowed, and the comforting hand of Vergo left his shoulder.

Along the ride went as they reached the warehouse district of Dressrosa, they had made it in less than thirty minutes, the mundane rules of society didn't apply to him after all. The speed limit had been blatantly ignored and in record time they were breaking infront of the first row of warehouses. Snapping his door open, Doffy slipped out of the car and licked his bottom lip. Adrenaline coursed through each of his veins, making him hyper-aware of each and every detail of the night, from the slight chill of the night to the distinct sound of bugs playing their night time symphony.

Snapping the revolver in place, Baby5 climbs out of the car next, followed by Bellamy, Diamante and lastly Vergo.

"Park the car somewhere inconspicuous Buffalo and await further orders, Baby5 and Bellamy I expect you two to work together, the rest of us are unpaired, you each know which section belongs to who, thoroughly search each and every warehouse, I want no crevice left unchecked. Once you are certain that area is clear, blow it up." He instructed and stuffed his hands in his pockets, headed off to his designated search houses.

"I'm coming for you... Law."

"AAAAAAH THIS IS BAD!" Usopp exclaimed in the most hushed yelled out whisper he could manage. Quickly the sniper turned to his two sleeping friends, Chopper had become exhausted after an hour into the night and had lain to sleep, Brook soon following suit, hugging their youngest companion as he dozed off leaving Usopp alone and awake to watching the warehouse where the others currently held the surgeon.

Dropping the pair of binoculars Usopp left his post and hurried to his two friends, clamping a hand on each of their mouths urgently shaking them to wake up. Successfully stifling their surprised cries Usopp shushed them furiously.

"The Family is here! They're here and theyre going to kill us all!"

Back in the warehouse, Nami was jolted out of her doubts and worries when her phone began to buzz extremely loudly next to her. Initial shock turned to both annoyance and dread as she saw the caller was none other than their sniper, Usopp.

"What?" she asked in a hoarse unused voice.

Crystal blue eyes looked over to her curiously as Sanji heard her speak, and watched as her eyes drew in, fear making her pupils shrink and drop the phone.

Curious and cautious, Sanji picked up the phone, "Yo."

"Nami!... Sanji, is that you! Sanji you guys have to-" his words were cut off as a sudden explosion drowned out his words, the shockwaves from the source rocking the earth under them, it was dangerously close. Sanji snapped his head up to the entrance, after two heart beats, no smoke trailed in, the explosion wasn't in their building that much he could tell, but it was dangerously close.

"Fuck." that single curse left him as he heard the frantic cried of his friend. Shutting off the phone, Sanji handed it back to his Swan and shut off the monitor, storming into the next room.

"We had less time than we thought. They're here."

Agh, I'm so very sorry for not only the wait on this, but also the length. I wish it could have been longer, but I want the main action to be on a single chapter not scattered and all that. Let me know what you think will happen next? Thank you to everyone who has followed, reviewed and favroited. Love you guys!
