Hey Guys! Are you ready for this? Cuz I'm all ready! *Sets up a stand of tissue boxes just in case its needed* Also please note I have yet to edit this I am sorry for any and all errors.

Onwards, I own noting in One Piece! Enjoy!~

Sanji's hand pulled away from his face, glancing at it but once, he knew what the warm sticky substance was before he even saw it.

Blood.

The blonde could feel it as it ran down the contours of his cheek, it was a red tear that streaked his skin with the bright tint of crimson. He had stepped too far, it had been a mere inch farther than he had wantedm but t had been enough. He had stepped too close to the tanned man's trap. And though his skin never actually made contact with the string, the razor sharp vibrations the wire created had been enough to nick his skin, just below his eye. The sting that had made him curse was now forgotten as the adrenaline washed it away just like all the others.

The battle was dragging on too long, they were bring pushed back. He and Zoro, stood no chance. Damn it they weren't strong enough! He and Zoro were not strong enough!

This, along with pride, was what was keeping the duo standing against the mad man. Already the Warlord had gained the upper hand, and was continuing to push them back, they had lost over three quarters of the room they were occupying. The steel wires wires were everywhere, a single step in the wrong direction would not just get them small nicks, but could actually separate them from their limbs.

Sanji growled, Zoro had his katanas and was doing his best with the Santoryu technique to cut himself a way towards Doflamingo, but his efforts were proving to be fruitless.

'This man' Sanji thought as he scanned the room not for the first time, 'what sort of man is he?!'

The only viable exit they had was the door they had come from, where Nami and Robin had escaped from.

Nami and Robin, the women he loved and cherished were behind those walls and God, he hoped they were okay. They must have made it out, if they at least manage to steal enough time for them to escape, then the two would eventually find Luffy if they made the Surgeon talk, Sanji found comfort in this thought. His girls were safe, but not the swordsman, and it was this thought that distressed Sanji the most, he couldn't save them all.

The cook stepped away again avoiding the onslaught of wires once more escaping their reach but managing to corner himself further. Less than ten feet, that was the distance between him and the door that lead down to the cellars, where they had kept the Surgeon for the past few hours. They we're running out of time!

Taking aim, Sanji leveled the gun once more, his one revealed crystal blue eye glaring in the direction of the pink feathered man. The blonde shot another set of rounds once more. This was what he had been reduced to, using his reserve gun to try and take out his enemy. On any other time he would have used his legs, he would have kicked the ass of any man that dared to threaten those he loved.

But this time was different, those stupid strings made his moves invalid. His legs were not able to kick through those fucking wires even with the enhanced plate that Franky and Usopp had cooked up for stupid modifications to the heated plates that were attached to both his legs were nothing more than weights and leg guards, however, the cook had to be thankful for them, for those things were the only barrier he had to keep his legs from getting cut or worse, sawed off.

"Zoro." the teen grunted under his breath as he snapped in another cartridge, the chuckling man's strings had sliced the earlier bullets like butter, the shells laying harmlessly on the dusty floor of the warehouse, cut in half, thirds or even more pieces.

The mosshead didn't answer, but Sanji knew his silence was an answer in itself.

"We need to fall back." he confessed then, Sanji didn't want to admit it, but they were being beaten. Their asses were being handed to them. There was no escaping from the man bent on killing them, and there was no way for them to make it out unless they headed in the direction the girls had.

"And you think I'll let you?" the deep accented voice called out then, much closer than Sanji had anticipated him to be.

'No way! When?' Sanji thought as his one visible eye looked forward, the manic grin of the shaded man staring him in the face, he was two steps ahead. He was infront of Sanji. Reflexively the teen made to pull up his hands and shoot off the Warlord's face. His arms would't obey him, however, it was then that he felt it, the pain surging from all his cuts, his arms were dripping blood, making the floor below slippery with the coppery life liquid.

"Gah! How!" the cook tried again to move anything his feet, his head, his hands, his arms, his pinkie! Nothing! The only response he got in return were the screams of his nerves as they were being torn into. Pain wracked his entire frame as he stood before the pink feathered man.

"But when?" the teen asked before darkness clouded his vision and fiery blinding pain wracked his every cell. Each and every cell in his body seemed as if it was being cut in half, they were being torn apart, even where his feet were supposed to be safe behind the armored leg pads. The pain was less there, but it was still very much present.

"Fucking Shit Cook! Sanji!" even the blade held between his teeth couldn't keep his words back, his screams aimed at his friend, at his... Zoro had yet to come terms with the second position the man took in his eyes.

The warlord had created a second addition to his web while the two had been busy dodging it and stepping back further to where the trap had been. During this time, the wire user had managed to attached those damned wires around Sanji, they curled and twisted over the lanky frame of the blonde, molding themselves to fit him perfectly, and them some by the looks of the cuts that not decorated the finely dressed teen.

Not that his clothes were pristine anymore, they were being torn to shreds and soaking in blood and sweat alike.

"You fucking bastard! Let him go." the swordsman roared as he narrowed his gaze to Sanji and the man that held him captive.

Zoro was ready, he raised his katana's hefting up the fine edged swords poised positions ready to not only draw blood, but to soak in them, to completely ravage and destroy the man that wanted to take everything from Zoro. If he hadn't been determined to end this man's life back when Luffy was on the line, then he was certainly bent in ending this man's life here and now. The pink feathered prick had to pay with blood for what he was doing to Sanji.

About to take a step, cold laughter froze Zoro in place.

"Fuffuffuffuffu. Ah-ah! One more step Roronoa boy, and I begin to slice limbs off this pretty boy." the tall man warned, a look of mock pity crossing his features as he demonstrated his control over the situation by curling his fingers just the slightest bit.

Sanji cried out in pain once again. The thing ropes coiling further along his body, a fine spray of blood breaking out from the new cuts he received.

Murderous rage rose within the green haired swordsman as he fought every instinct within him to fight to do something,m anything to protect those around him. If he moved, however, Sanji was as good as dead. The blonde cook was no use to the other alive nor dead, that much the swordsman knew. In this world, who you were counted much more than one would think, Sanji was just the son of a renowned cook who chose to leave his cozy life to hang out with them. And now here he was, caught in the trap of this deranged man.

Zoro dared not move again, not while the blonde was being held by the Warlord, unlike the smirking son of a bitch, Sanji was more use to Zoro alive than dead.

"That's a good dog... Fuffuffuffuffu, So you can be trained so long as you have the right incentive, hm?" the blonde man purred as he looked over the blonde with the slightest bit of interest.

"Drop them." the command left the man's lips then, his manic grin gone for the moment and his face for once deathly serious.

The hair at the back of Zoro's neck rose, the room had lost a significant amount of heat, and the sensation he was receiving from the head of The Family caused his insides to churn. This feeling was unsettling Zoro, but not as much as the man was now.

Zoro wasn't stupid, despite what many thought, he wasn't fucking dense. Sandai Kitetsu was the first to go, followed by Shusui... Zoro hesitated with Wado Ichimonji for but a second before he too let the blade clatter above the other two.

Doflamingo cackled like the mad man he was, "Now..." he drawled on allowing the pained breaths of Sanji to consume the room, "On your knees, dog!"

Zoro vowed at that moment, that he would rip out this man's throat with his bare hands and teeth if he must.

Luffy was anxious as he sat on the passenger side of yet another car he doubted he had ever sat in before. He had learned, during his two week stay that most of the people in Torao's family had really expensive cars, Violet owned a magenta colored hand-or-gimme* Aventador, the most recent model according to Torao. To say the inside was just as amazing as the one Torao has, was pretty accurate, but the teen was unimpressed this tome around.

He was uneasy about something and he didn't know what, or even why. The closer they got to wherever it was they were going, the feeling grew. His stomach was in knots and he had no explanation for it just as he had no explanation to everything else going on in his mind, the claustrophobic and anxiety of being without Torao was increasing again as he sat here in the plush leather.

"Law's fine you know." Violet murmured then, soothingly breaking the silence that had befallen the pair.

Luffy could only nod to the assurance, his wide eyes focused intently on his hands.

He heard a sigh then, from the driving woman, no doubt she was concerned form him, and Luffy was grateful for that, but he was in a very uncharacteristic mood right now. He felt he would stumble over his words if he even attempted to speak about his friend right now.

Instead he asked, "How much farther?"

"Fifteen minutes, just relax Luffy." her voice was kind and patient as it had always been, and for that Luffy was glad. She reminded him of someone he didn't quite remember, a woman who was kust a bit taller than her with midnight black hair, and bright blue eyes and a small calming smile. Maybe thats why Luffy liked Violet the most out of Torao's family, be cause she felt familiar. He had asked her once if they had met prior to that first day, and had received the saddening reply of no.

"Torao..." the teen whispered under his breath, his eyes remaining locked upon his hands.

The desperation to see the doctor was rising again and all Luffy could do was sit in the small confining space of the lavish car. Luffy's hands were restless, they were clenching and unclenching, curling over one another, and trying to crack knuckles and joints alike even after they had already given their sigh of relief, but still the youth pressed on, ignoring the pain of his protesting joints.

A gentle hand then settled over his, they had stopped at a red light. Large coal eyes looked up to meet kind brown eyes. "Relax, Luffy, we are nearly there."

Law was loosing his strength quickly, and he might have passed out for a few moments as he rested against the wall he had been leaning on for a good five? ten? minutes. Whatever the case was, he was still waiting on Vergo to return with his last catch of the day. And by the sounds of it, Vergo had succeeded.

"You let go of me right now! Please? You're hurting me." the fiery voice went soft suddenly as the Devil woman tried to sway Vergo's decision on the matter.

Law smirked as much as he was able to, well in actuality he only smirked mentally seeing as his battered face was incapable of moving its muscles at all without some sort of protest. 'The bitch is barking up the wrong tree.' he thought distantly as he came to for the third? time in that short span.

"Keep quiet, and move." was the only response that was given by the stoic man as not one but three pairs of footfalls made their way to Law and the muffled sobs near him.

Law must've passed out again because he was suddenly kicked, and harshly mind you, against his side. Caught unaware and in his weakened state, not to mention his hands were still fucking tied behind his back, Law couldn't help but fall over to his side with a curse.

"I am not carrying you brat, get your ass up and move or die here." the words echoed off of the walls as the man walked briskly past him, another kick was heard, "You two, you have the same option."

Climbing to his feel Law winced and nearly fell back to his previous spot. Luckily on his second try and with much help of the wall, Law was able to stand up once again, with a few more breaths he gathered what little strength he still had within him and started to trudge slowly along with the other prisoners.

'One step in front of the other, that's it Trafalgar move your ass and get out before the sticky bearded bastard leaves you here to rot.' Law was never one for pep talks, but there were times when even he needed the lightest bit of encouragement.

Brook laughed as he skillfully tied a bow out of rope at the end of the lady's binds.

"Yohoho! I am terribly sorry miss, but as you may understand, we fight on opposite sides of the field. And even so may I see your panties?" the skeleton painted teen asked cheerily as he finished with his handy work and towered over the maid.

Angry dark blue eyes glared up at him, "Fuck off, pervert."

"Yohoho, no can do miss, I have been tasked with keeping an eye on you." he paused, "That is, I would if I had eyes to see with!" he joked as two of his boney fingers from each hand framed his eyes.

"You have eyes you moron!" the lady cried out exasperated and ground her teeth. "So you caught us, what now?"

"Ah, now you tell me where Luffy-San is." Brook said quite seriously, though his voice still held its earlier amusement.

"Luffy?" the girl cried out before thinking of her answers it seemed, the ladies tended to loose their sense in his presence after all.

Brook could see the recognition in those wide eyes of hers. "You know the name... where is he?" his voice was deeper now, chilling some might say. It held no warmth for this woman, when his beloved friend and Captain was in danger, Brook did not fuck around... too much.

"Hell if I know." she huffed turning her head to the side in protest, she was refusing to answer him.

"I think you do know, and though I wish you no harm, miss. I ask that you consider your options and answers. Time is running low for us all."

The woman laughed rolling her eyes, "The young master will wipe the floor with you, don't worry about me brat, pray for those on your side of the field."

"Do not fear for me miss, now I ask you again. Where is Luffy-San?" Brook wouldn't admit it to this woman, but he was worried for his friends. He hadn't seen a single one of them since he left Chopper and Usopp. Still, he held two members of the Family, and he must do all he can to get information about Luffy.

Doflamingo was slightly pleased with himself by this point, he was no closer to Law, but he had gained two new toys who would tell him where his godson was if they valued the measly existence they cherished.

Two new katana's hung off of his left hip and the previous owner of them was now in front of Doffy, with the blade of the white hilted one pressed threateningly against his back. In his arms the green haired teen was carrying the blonde in a cute bridal style manner.

Doflamingo smiled that large shit eating grin he always wore as he pressed the man on, a blossoming red flower appearing on the stark white material of his shirt the moment he hesitated, the blade digging into the flesh beneath the single layer of clothing.

"Stop again and I'll be forced to ram this blade right through your chest, move." the blonde man was getting impatient, and the green haired man was wearing what was left of it very thin.

Silence reached the pink feathered man, and he was pleased to see the green haired teen moving again. It would surely be entertaining to break this one in, little by little he would break Roronoa, well that is if he didn't kill him in the next five minutes.

Pushing the lad on, they all stepped out of the warehouse, pulling out another destructive sphere, Doffy chuckled, "I do so hope you have friends in there, is that why you didn't run away Roronoa?"

His answer was not given, but the tense response in his shoulders was enough to have Doffy cackling again, "They will burn and die, because of your foolishness boy."

Zoro paused at the doorframe, the blade entering an inch deeper into his back, and Doflamingo laughed once again. "No going back now, move or perish with them."

The blade was pushed further and the green haired teen was forced to move once again, three steps they took and the building collapsed, imploding in on itself just as the others had before it. Fire rose and consumed the splintered derbis, the cloud of smoke rising to mingle along with the others already in the sky.

Vergo had emerged out of the sewer system not too long before the building fell, the red headed teen hoisted underneath his arm and sulking while still offering him bribes to let her go, trying to weasel her way out of her predicament, while being pulled behind him the dark haired girl was quiet. This one was the one that Vergo was wary of just the tiniest bit, not that he would ever openly admit, especially not in the presence of that brat, Law.

Behind the dark haired teen, were the two other brats he caught sneaking into the sewers too, they had been more than easy to apprehend, and lastly, bringing up the rear, if one could call it that, was Law.

"Keep up, Squirt." Vergo called out to the lagging teen, and completely missing the glare shot in his direction.

Turning the corner, the group paused as the last quake of the night rolled the land. The red head was quieted by the sudden implosion of the warehouse, while the two cowards openly sobbed once more.

"Quiet!" Vergo barked and glanced back at the prisoners, his one unoccupied hand raised and poised to strike the two for being spineless and weak, though a stern look of pale blue eyes stopped him. The raven haired girl moved to stand between Vergo and the cowardly pair.

"You will not lay a hand on them, Vergo-San." she said then quietly.

This paused him for a moment, his eyes narrowing behind his dark glasses. "No one commands me, but Doflamingo." he rumbled taking a step closer to her. "Move, or suffer their fate."

The raven did no such thing, however, much to his growing annoyance, Vergo hated being ignored, his orders were absolute, and this insolent child would learn that. His hand hadn't lowered yet, it was still being held high, and now it had a new destination.

"No don't!" the redhead in his arm cried out beginning to squirm in his hold.

"Quiet all of you!" Vergo roared in his low voice, he didn't raise his voice, he only placed more emphasis into it, and that was enough to create the effect he needed. On most occasions. This time around, he was not pleased with the results, the red head continued to struggle and the dark haired girl continued to stand defiantly in his way, and the other two were still cowering and openly sobbing. Then there was Law, those distant gray eyes were gazing at him with the lightest bit of amusement, they seemed to say 'What's wrong Vergo-ya? Can't handle a few kids?'

Vergo growled and that's when his hand struck.

Luffy's mouth was dry, his heart was beating irrationally fast and it was becoming a struggle to breathe, Luffy's chest hurt and the crippling sense of terror made bile rise in the back of his throat. His head was between his knees as he had been instructed by Violet. He had come to the conclusion that he was having a panic attack.

With his eyes tightly closed he tried to steady himself, but the more he tried, the deeper he seemed to be pulled into the irrational fear, he was scared of something and he didn't know what it was.

'Make it go away, make the fear go away. You said you'd keep me safe.' Luffy accused the voice in his dream the fire.

Where was this Ace now when he needed him the most! He said he would be here, he would take care of me, he would keep me safe, but he hasn't. Luffy hadn't allowed himself to recognize a simple truth the moment he had woken up.

He was alone.

Torao had always been there to erase the loneliness, he had always been by Luffy's side since the moment he had woken up. And never once had the doctor let the teen allow himself the time to think about how he had had no one in the world to call his friend, his family. But now, now that Luffy had been forced to spend near five hours without him, Luffy had been unwillingly thrust into the sheer reality that he had not wanted to face. Alone, he was alone and he was scared, he didn't even know who the fuck he was.

So engrossed he was with maintaining his mind sane that he hadn't noticed that the car had stopped. His attack continued for a few more minutes, barely aware of a gentle hand stroking his back soothingly.

Slowly, her voice reached him. "Luffy, you'll be okay Luffy. You can open your eyes now. We're here..." she looked up then, he could see through the corner of his eyes even from his lowered position.

"Torao... he's here?" the raspy voice of the teen asked as he rose his head slightly, his eyes above the dashboard now. And what he saw shocked him, they were in a strange place, yet not so strange, the burning heaps of trash... it tugged and nagged at a distant memory, but not he could recall.

"Fire..." the word was breathed out by the teen. "Is he here? Torao? Is Ace?"

Before Violet could react, the teen wrenched out of the hold the seatbelt had him in and escaped the car. Leaving behind Violet who yelled after him. "No Luffy wait it isn't safe in there!"

Luffy didn't heed her, instead he ran faster, the fenced door was open, not that he couldn't have hopped over the fence, but it made things so much easier on him.

"TORAAAAAOOO! AAAAAAAAAACE!" his voice was still worn from his earlier fit of desperate cries, and even now it was ragged and worn out to his own ears, washed away entirely by the crackling sound of fire, but Luffy didn't care, he needed to fine either these men, he needed to get answers, he needed to feel secure, he didn't want to be alone!

Five houses remained and were not on fire, was Torao in one of them? Was Ace the one causing these fires? Ace loved to play with fire, Luffy doesn't know how he knows this but he does, the man was a pyromaniac and liked to set things ablaze, this was his quirk alone, and Luffy... Luffy loved that about this man, fire chased away the darkness.

A minute later Luffy was still running, he wasn't sure where to, but it was at the moment that another building shuddered, the ground along with it and it came tumbling down in a breathtaking display of orange flames and ash the rising smoke, curling up to reach up into the sky where it joined the amassing dark cloud.

"ACE!" Luffy just knew that whoever was causing all of this around him must be in that direction. 'Ace, Torao, Ace, Torao' the names raced through his mind as he ran, tripping over bricks, boards, abandoned scrap metal and even his own two feet. The ash was slowly snowing down on his frame while he ran, decorating his raven head with a light layer of gray.

"There!" Luffy finally cried out as he burst into the crowds and skidded to a stop.

"L- Luffy?" A green? Ashen green haired teen sputtered out stopping in his tracks. "Luffy! It is you isn't it?"

Coal eyes met those startling emerald and Luffy was at a loss. Shaking his head Luffy took a step back from him, his eyes breaking away from the intense stare, his eyes landing instead on a blonde haired teen, he was hurt. The boy in his arms. Fear gripped Luffy once more, had the green eyed man done this.

"What's wrong Luffy, Luffy look at me!" the teen, his voice sounded devastated, desperate as he looked lost, searching Luffy's gaze.

But the other teen found no recognition, Luffy didn't know him. But he did know the laugh that followed.

"Fuffuffuffuffu Roronoa... is this what you were looking for? Is this broken little boy the thing you staked your life on. Jailbait, do you know who this man is?"

Luffy looked at the two, was he being spoken of, or was he speaking of the broken battered blonde within the green haired man's hands. Luffy didn't know, but of one thing he was certain.

"No... but he know's me. Who are you?"

The boy's eyes flashed with pain as he struggled to wrap his mind around it all. "Don't fuck around with me, Lu-" whatever he might have said then was drowned out by a piercing scream. One Luffy had known, one he had been familiar with once.

The blonde within the green haired man's arms stirred as if he was roused by the sound."My Swan, you shitty Marimo, why does my swan cry." he asked feebly, his crystal blue eyes looking up to the one who held him and grimacing upon being ignored. Those blue eyes turned and followed his line of vision, coming to rest upon Luffy, and his mouth fell open, previous anger and concern momentarily forgotten.

"Luffy!"

The raven haired boy was at a loss once more, but none of these people were the ones he was looking for. Doing his best to ignore the unnerving stares of the ragged looking teens that knew his name, instead he turned to the one man he did know.

"Mingo, Mingo where's Torao? Is he here?"

The tall blonde man looked genuinely distraught at the question, "Ask them, Jailbait." Mingo then frowned his hand pressing something forward, making the taller green haired man frown. "Go on, tell the boy where Trafalgar Law is."

Coal eyes looked at the two sets of eyes before him, they looked lost, confused, but over all betrayed. "Gone, and far away from here."
