Hey what's up guys, It's TheZeroProject back again with, finally another chapter. So basically my laptop got ruined somehow. No, I did not click on some sketchy website or download anything suspicious, ok! What happened is that my laptops OS got bipped and it's not able to boot up to Windows 10 like it should. Windows is known for having updates and then their customers' computers getting messed up. I'm not a tech expert or anything, trust me. Anyway, that's kinda why I haven't made a chapter in so long… Also, writer's block is a thing and I couldn't come up with any ideas. That's it.

"I'm Dark Link." he hissed
"What?! What the hell do you want?!" Link shouted.
"Let me make this simple. I'm here to kill you, as ordered by my master. Scum like you won't live to see another day." Dark Link said in a rough voice.
"You better eat those words before a banish you from where you came from!" Link shouted.
Dark Link said let out a small chuckle before he ran up to the Pedestal. Link ran up to it too and struggled against Dark Link. Link pushed him off but his clone was still standing. Dark Link went for a direct jab but Link managed to dodge just in time before he returned the favor. He successfully got a hit, stood up and kicked him in the abdomen. Dark Link flew back and made contact with a nearby tree.
"Not bad." Dark Link said as he spits out a bit of blood. Dark Link got into a stance, similar to Link's and swung. Link was knocked down by this sudden hit, but got back up before Dark Link could continue to hit him. Link unsheathed his iron sword and thrust it into Dark Link's chest. He managed to avoid it and returned with a clean punch to the face. Link swung again and managed to hit Dark Link with the hilt of his sword. He laid there for a few seconds until he got up again and hit Link twice, again in the face and the abdomen. Dark Link unsheathed his sword as well, getting in sword fighting stance. Link stared at his clone, noticing him preferring his left hand instead of his right. Link tried to thrust at him again this time Dark Link parrying it jabbing at Link. He barely moved his blade to deflect the jab. Link twisted and feigned to his left and then striking at Dark Link's right side. Dark Link fell for the feign and let out a grunt when Link slashed from his right. Dark Link recomposed himself after the hit, this time swinging wildly. Link barely had time to deflect all the feigns and jabs. In a small window of time Link twisted and slashed at Dark Links thigh, disabling him for a moment. Link took the chance to finish him off but Dark Link jabbed at Link's side at lightning fast speed. This took him by surprise and Dark Link kicked him with his good leg, sending Link spiraling towards the ground. He used the small period of get up and dash to the Pedestal. With a fast grunt, Dark Link pulled out the Master Sword. All of his wounds began to heal as Link felt a sharp pain in his head. The Hero fell to his knees, Dark Link approaching him. Dark Link held the Master Sword skyward and the shiny white turned into a sleek, crimson blade. Link laid on the ground in shock. He knew that only one with a courageous heart and heroic spirit could wield the blade, but he's evil Link thought. His pain increased when Dark Link slashed Link from his side. Link shouted in agony and Dark Link grabbed his chin to lift his head to meet his eyes. All Link saw was Dark Link's piercing, bloodshot red gaze. He felt another sharp pain, this one more severe and was knocked out cold. He awoke an abyss of complete blackness. Link was confused.
"Ah, I see that you don't know where you are," The false hero spoke. "What you claim you'll protect has already fallen to the darkness. Your army combined with the rest of Hyrule is no match against my master's army. This is what you'll hear once the invasion is complete! Sit here and suffer, as it was your fate anyway." Dark Link said as his voice faded.
All that Link felt is emptiness. It was unsettling until he started to feel hot. He became hotter and hotter until his body felt like it was on fire but wasn't. He was washed by a wave of unsurreal pain. Voices. He heard the voices of his kin and wife. Voices of terror, anger, sadness, and despair.
"Why did you have to go, papa?" asked Zel as tears stroked down her face.
"Why did you go alone? Why didn't I prevent this or gone with you?" Zelda said in a soft whisper.
"Why didn't you let me go?" asked his oldest son, James.
"Why did you leave us, dad?" asked Danny.
This was too much for Link to bear. He shouted and shouted that he was there but it was to no avail.
"I'm here!" Link's voice broke as he felt more pain and sadness.
"I-I'm here…" Link sobbed before another wave of darkness surrounded him.
"Man, you really are that pathetic aren't you?" Dark Link asked.
"What a shame it is for the beautiful Zelda to fall in love with such a coward!" Dark Link bellowed.
"It won't matter now. After my master's plan is finished, she'll be mine for eternity." Dark Link said with an evil cackle.

The dining hall was as quiet as an empty cave. They didn't feel the same without their father scolding them or rambling about all the business and rumors that awoken since the war.
"Where is dad again and why is he gone?" asked Zel.
"Link is just out running some errands, sweetheart. I assure you that your father is fine, darling." Zelda assured her.
"You assure her?" James scoffed. "What if he doesn't, huh," James said in a smug attitude.
"James, now is not the time for petty arguments, okay?" his mother said sternly.
"Petty arguments? He could be dead for all we know!" Both Zelda and her daughter expressions changed. One in worry and the other in anger.
"How dare you say such nonsense?!" His mother barked.
"How dare you keep me in this castle when I could be training to fight out there in the war! I'm not a little kid anymore so stop treating me like I am one!" James barked back.
"You don't understand, James. We are doing it for your protection and safety. You'll grow up into the handsome prince I know you will become and rule with your dad with an iron fist, but it's too complex for you to understand why we are keeping you here. One day your siblings will look up to you in the same way you do with your father. So please, for the sake of us just stay here."

"I bet I'd make a better King than him," James mumbled under his breath. His mother stared at him and he rolled his eyes at her and continued to stare at his plate. They all sat in silence. The only time the silence was broken was when the maids asked the children for more food. After they were finished eating, they all went to their bedchambers. Zelda let out a sigh as she removed all of her clothing.
"Going to bed so soon?" an old voice asked. Zelda jumped from where she was and turned around?
"Impaz, is that you?" Zelda asked. She looked around the room to see her sitting in a chair, barely lit by the moonlight.
"Who else would it be, your highness?" she chuckled.
"Don't scare me like that for Farore's sake!" Zelda said as she let out a little laugh herself.
"I was waiting for you, since I know this is a lot to take in right now." the fragile woman got up.
"Yes, it has been. I'm just so worried about Link! He's going on a tangent about this whole thing. I've never been so stressed and sad since the Twilight War and neither has he." Zelda let out a deep breath as her mind filled up with rouge thoughts.
"Our only way through that was… well." Zelda stammered.
"I completely understand your highness. Are you also worried about having another?" She asked. Zelda, her face completely flushed, gave Impaz a little nod.
"My magic has been a little off today and I'm thinking I will have another…" Zelda said in a low tone.
"It's alright princess," Impaz assured her. "If there is anything else you need, please tell me. I'll shall leave now." The elderly woman got up and got out of the room. Zelda now had time to think and clear her head of these thoughts. She undresses from her gown and got into a nightgown. She slowly drifted off into a deep sleep.

James went walked into his own room, the argument with his mother still on his mind. She just doesn't understand he thought. James was going to sneak out again, this time with no father to worry him although he did wonder what was taking him so long. If he didn't return by dawn that's how he'd know that he was in trouble. He knows his father doesn't like to carry out missions at night unless if it's necessary. He pushed open his window in a swift motion and hopped of his balcony and onto other footholds and balconies. He made it down quickly and ran off towards the inner gates leading to Castle Town. It was a lot more lively at times, usually during celebrations and festivals. This time many civilians were out and around carrying out their business. Ever since the war started, Castle Town boomed in trade and shopping allowing it to make more attractions, homes, and stores. Many Gorons and Zoras set up shop here as well making it more bigger in size. He remember his father telling him that Castle Town was only slightly bigger than his home village, which at the time wasn't much. It has since become bigger, both Castle Town and Ordon Village. Since his father became king he has been sending the Ordona Province more aid than before the Twili War. He wandered onto the Central Square where it was the liveliest. Traders and tenders all around. He couldn't wonder to notice a girl sitting on a bench near a dimly lit area. James walked over to the bench to take a seat. He noticed that the girl sitting looked familiar. Short cloak and dirty blonde side fringes. The description met the one of the one girl whom he ran into a couple of nights ago at the Milk Bar. He approached the bench and greeted the girl.

"Hello?" James said to get the girls attention. Her attention broke and went towards James and her eyes widened.

"A-aren't you the prince?" she stammered.

"Yep! It James alive and here. I came up to you because I thought you looked familiar. I'm pretty sure we ran into each other at the Milk Bar a while ago, correct?" James asked.

"Oh, i'm super embarrassed," she said as a wide blush spread across her face.

"There is no need to be, unless there is another reason I could think of?" James teased, raising an eyebrow.

"I um have to go sorry," as said as she darted off. Well it wouldn't be the first time he'd been attracted by someone. Thank my dad's genes he thought. He went off in the other direction towards some shops for some late night snacks and gadgets to buy. He visited a few before going towards Telma's Bar again. As he walked in he saw his Aunt Telma along with other knights and women. Some bar James thought.

"What are you doing out again?" Telma asked enthusiastically.

"Got into another argument with my Mom," James sighed.

"Well that's never good. If you ever need a place to cool off you're welcomed here but stop arguing hun. It's never good to have a bad relationship with your folks, especially if you're of noble birth. Not everyone has the luxury of living in a lash castle you know," Telma said with a more serious tone.

"You're right, Auntie but I just feel like they don't understand me sometimes," he replied.

"It's okay to have some arguments, you're growing up and becoming more moody, that comes with age especially during your teenage years," Telma said softly.

"I'll try not to, I guess," James mumbled. Telma gave a small smile and went off to the back. James sat there, contemplating to apologize or not. It probably wouldn't matter. We'll get into more fights later that's for sure he thought. James got up from the front stools and left Telma a note with 50 rupees. Thanks for the advice -James. The note read. He left the bar but with a different attitude.

He walked back to the main gates of the castle the same way he escaped. James heard a rustle in one of the more forested areas near the castle. He unsheathed his dagger from his side and called out, "Who's there?" James vision began to fade but returned as fast as it turned. James wasn't sure what he was looking at. The shape of the shadow resembled his father's body but he couldn't distinguish anything he was wearing. It was all black.

"Your father is dead!" a deep voice bellowed.

"Leave while you can or face the wrath of my masters! His village and the people of Kakariko will perish and fall under their rule!" the deep voice echoed and vanished, blinding James once more. He stood there in shock not knowing what to do. The first thing on his mind was to get back to his room and warn his mother.

Welp, that about wraps up chapter 6! I've made plans on how the story will follow after this chapter but I need someone to discuss it with so if you can, please leave a review on anything really, whether that's ideas or criticism I'll accept both to be honest. Also, sorry for this massive hiatus. School kicked up again and to make up for it this has been the longest chapter I've made. Me and someone aren't on good terms anymore so I would appreciate any help! Anyway I think that's all. Thanks
