Happy New Year everyone! I hope this story brings many 2014 reviews. Thanks for everyone who is still reading and supporting me. It means a lot. Thank for those you have put any of my stories in your alert or have favorite them. Love you all and I hope you enjoy.
Oh one last thing in my story Hayate Gekko is alive and is with Yuugao Uzuki, and if you're wondering why its sound five not four, just remember that Sakon and Ukon are one in the anime but in my story they're like…evil twins.

Right now they washed the bad memories and eased her pain away. Gaara and Hinata sat on a boulder about 30 feet from the waterfall, that way when they talked they be able to hear each other.
Everything was quiet and calm, that is until Gaara phone rang.
He saw it was Temari calling, had something happened? Had Kankuro gotten in to and fight again or had she simply missed his (according to her) baby brother' voice. Whatever the reason he answered.
"Hello?" Gaara answered when he heard, "Hello Lord Kazekage?"Hinata looked at his face. His calm expression changed into shock and anger. Had something happened?
Gaara checked the number again; it was Temari' cellphone, but she wasn't the one who had answered, it was a male voice. Gaara stood up and asked "Who the hell are you?" hearing his voice change from a calm voice to an angry protective one.
He looked over at Hinata "W-what's wrong?" Hinata asked, she couldn't help but feel her heart sink.
"What did you do to Temari?" Hinata was now even more worried, what was wrong? And if it wasn't Temari on the phone, who was it? Was Temari okay? Who was he talking too?
"She is safe for the moment. The sound just wishes to leave our mark upon your village, as Lord Orochimaru wishes"
"If you touch her aga-" he didn't even finish when he heard, "Are you threating me, Lord Kazakage? I am aware of where you are, and it's not in your village were you should be, protecting the people you swore to protect when you took the vow of being Kazekage. You are in Konoha." the male voice said.
The voice who yet hadn't revealed his name was right, he should be there, and he was going to be there. He felt Hinata' hand on his forearm, she was trying to calm him.
"Konoha huh?" he heard a third voice "Who are you?" Gaara was clearing asking the voice who decided to join in.
"I'm sure by now old man Sarutobi told you my name at least-" Gaara looked at Hinata again. No, it couldn't be…it wasn't him.
"Is Hinata with you?" the voice that clearly was Sasuke' voice ask "Is that why you can't say, Sasuke Uchiha" damn him, it was Sasuke Uchiha!
When Gaara looked at her again, Hinata bit her lip seeing so much hate in his eyes. Who could it possibly be that Gaara showed so much hatred in his eyes?
"Hm whatever like I care about that bitch. You might want to come home, or whatever is left of it-"
"I am sure if you look around the waterfall, ANBU are begging to appear to inform you of the attack" click; the call had ended with both.
"Gaara?" Hinata asked again when the waterfall was surrounded with men in mask, Hinata was a little surprised and a bit intimidated and she couldn't help but hold on to Gaara "What's going on?" she asked.
Whoever that guy was, had been right with a few minutes masked ANBU were coming out of the shadows within the forest around the waterfall. Hinata was clearly surprised if not frighten by this that she held on to his arm. Gaara touched her hand, she was shaking a little.
"Lord Kazekage-" Gaara looked the young woman, maybe in her twenties that wore a porcelain mask resembling a cat with three red stripes – one vertical stripe on the forehead that her bangs somewhat covered and two horizontal stripes, one on each cheek.
Her long midnight black hair, that showed plum colored dye with the rays of the sun reached her down to her waist bowed and looked at him "Suna is-"
"I know" he said he looked at Hinata and back at the ANBU "Take her to the Hyuuga compound-"
Hinata looked up at him "W-where are y-you going?" she asked.
He couldn't waist more time he looked at her and said "Suna needs me" he didn't know what had gotten over him as he bent down and lightly kissed her on her forehead and looked back at the ANBU who nodded and walked towards her.
Hinata bit her lip, as the three ANBU walked towards her "Come with me Hinata" she nodded and followed the one with the porcelain cat mask.
He ran towards his Lamborghini and made his way towards the gates of Konoha, they had the gates already opened with three gray 2011 Tahoe with shinobi ready to assist him and Suna.
He didn't stop, on the contraire he sped up and within seconds the three Tahoe were behind him. He stepped on it.

Back in Suna; before the phone call.
The sound five could finally see the border of the sandy village, the entrance of the village was well guarded by sand shinobi.
"There are fucken five of us, how in the hell are we going to enter the village and have fun?" Tayuya asked angrily. She is the hot headed one of the group, and only girl, maybe that was why?
"I am sure Lord Orochimaru thought this through" Jirobo said, Tayuya looked at him "Kissing ass huh fatty!" Jirobo gave her a dirty look and furrowed his brows "What? Did I hurt your feelings, fatso?"
"Enough Tayuya" the sound five looked at who had appeared out of the sandy mountains "Kimimaro?" Sakon looked at the pale man with the vivid green eyes. His masculine features looked at the sound five in front of him his lifted his brows and which made the two scarlet tattoos above them lift as well.
"It will be wise for you, Tayuya to not bad mouth Lord Orochimaru, if you know what's best for you"
Tayuya couldn't help but swallow and apologized "Sorry" Kimimaro looked at each of them "Lord Orochimaru has proved us with Sound shinobi, make them of use"
Kidomaru smirked "Alright let the games begin" Kimimaro began to walk towards the village "Lord Orochimaru has ordered me to get my hands on Temari, the Kazekage' older sister. Your job is to…must I tell you what your job is?" he asked them.
"Of course not" the five said in union as they followed him, as well as the Sound shinobi. They needed to get closer for the fun to begin. Once they were about 200 ft. from the entrance a sand shinobi "Identify yourself!" three sand shinobi approached them.
"We are here to leave our mark" Kidomaru smirked as he threw a smoke grenade as he Sakon and Ukon stabbed the sand shinobi dead.
"Go!" Kimimaro said and with that cue the sound shinobi made their way. Sand and sound met in battle. Blade met blades as the sand shinobi alerted the village.
The village was on high alert, people were told to go inside. The sand shinobi made their way to the entrance; they were not going to let the intruders enter the village!
Temari looked out the Kazekage window and noticed smoke coming from the main entrance, "What's going on?" the door burst open "Hello, Temari-" she threw a kunai at the pale man with vivid green eyes who had dodged it "Who are you?"
"My name is not of importance, now be cooperative and I will not harm you" Temari looked at him and smirked "Leave or I won't be so nice" she was sure the sand shinobi would take care of the sound clowns.
"As you wish"
Kimimaro looked at the now unconscious Temari on the floor, he walked towards the desk where he saw her cellphone and pressed on the number one, as he suspected it was the Kazekage speed dial, it rang and as he waited for him to pick up, he looked out the window.
He didn't have much time after all, the Sand village has strong shinobi, and Lord Orochimaru had given them more than enough men for the destruction but he didn't have much time here, before sand shinobi burst in here.
"Hello?" the Kazekage had answered. His voice was clear and deep "Hello Lord Kazekage" Gaara had hesitated to answer but finally asked "Who the hell are you?" his voice had changed from a caring younger brother to an angry one "W-what's wrong?"
"What did you do to Temari?" he was concern for the girl who was still unconscious on the floor.
"She is safe for the moment. The sound just wishes to leave our mark upon your village, as Lord Orochimaru wishes"
"If you touch her aga-" Kimimaro interrupted him, which was pleasing to his ears "Are you threating me, Lord Kazakage? I am aware of where you are, and it's not in your village were you should be, protecting the people you swore to protect when you took the vow of being Kazekage. You are in Konoha."
He knew; he was on the other line, true the earlier conversation was boring to his ears, until he had heard that he was in Konoha. After all Konoha was his home.
"Konoha huh?" he now was in the conversation "Who are you?" Kimimaro waited for Sasuke to answer.
With Sasuke in the hideout.
He was told to do a three way with Orochimaru kiss-ass left hand man, Kabuto keeping the right hand man position like always. He took the untraceable cellphone Kabuto had given him; the only contacts there were Kabuto, Orochimaru and Kimimaro'.
The conversation was no use to him; he didn't care for the Kazekage or the destruction of the village.
He looked at the candle light as it seem to dim with the small breeze that surrounded the hideout.
He had heard a small "W-what's wrong?" and couldn't help but frown and then he heard Kimimaro say how he was in Konoha, this was where he asked "Konoha huh?" he finally said "Who are you?"
Sasuke smirked and did his signature hm "I'm sure by now old man Sarutobi told you my name at least-" there was no answer "Is Hinata with you?" mentioning her name made him sick, he smiled "Is that why you can't say, Sasuke Uchiha"
Gaara hadn't answered so he took the opportunity to say "Hm whatever like I care about that bitch. You might want to come home, or whatever is left of it-" then Kimimaro joined in"I am sure if you look around the waterfall, ANBU are begging to appear to inform you of the attack" click; the call had ended with both.
Sasuke threw the cellphone against the stone wall breaking it to pieces and looked at the door, Orochimaru with a smile on his face asked "Now Sssasuke, hadn't your dear mother tell you not to throw your thingsss around?"
"What do you want?" he asked "Missss her already?" he was mocking him. Sasuke red bright eyes looked at him "I don't have time for your lectures right now. Tell me what you want or get out!" his anger was followed by a growl by the Doberman who was sitting near him.
Keiji stayed loyal to him. They had arrived just three days ago to the heart of the Sound village; and it took another night to arrive to the snake's layer. It wasn't much to his surprise when he saw the marble stone wall of the place; it was as though the earth had swallowed the place and only left the staircase that led down to the large metal door.
Keiji smelled around, he took the opportunity to mark his territory, by urinating around the hideout. Sasuke looked around, mile and miles of nothing but forest and mountains. They were isolated from humanity and miles away from the nearby village; if the snake or the four eyes needed anything, the trip to the village is a good day and a half.
This was it; Orochimaru had pretty much welcomed him to hell. Sasuke walked down the stonestairs that led into the hideout. Kabuto bowed as he saw Orochimaru appear within the semi-dark hallway, there were a few candles, maybe five feet away from each other but the candles didn't take out that dark, creepy eerie feeling.
"What'sss wrong Sssasuke afraid of the dark?" Keiji growled at the man who with yellow snake eyes looked at his master, he growled and snarled that the hairs on Keiji back stood perfectly up. Sasuke gave him a cold stare, something he was told by many back at Konoha he was good at and saw that he had trouble swallowing "What's the matter? Afraid of man's best friend?"
Orochimaru chuckled "Not at all but I prefer reptiliansss over muttsss. That mutt ssstill tiesss you to Konoha-"
Keiji was not going anywhere! "He stays with me and if anything happens to him-" he didn't take his red eyes of Orochimaru "-they will pay the price. With. Their. Life"
"Now now Sssasuke, no harm will be done to your mutt." he laughed "-but sssooner or later the tiesss with Konoha will have to be broken by you" a cold chill ran down his spine. He looked at Keiji and couldn't help but feel like he should have left him back at Konoha.
Orochimaru extended out his hand to tell Sasuke to come in, he did, Keiji right beside him. Orochimaru took the lead, leading him to the room he was going to be staying in. Kabuto stayed behind, observing the Uchiha.
They walk down the hall in silence, the only thing that was heard were a few growls that Keiji did as he looked at the snake man. They turned right; Sasuke did a mental map from the front entrance to where they were going, turning to the left the hallway was a dead-end; Orochimaru lead him the second to last door on his right and opened it "Your room"
Sasuke walked in, the room was about as semi-dark as the halls they were walking in, although the small window was open letting the small ray that could make it through the thick forest, the walls were a mucky green, the bed to the left corner of the room, to the left corner was a book shelf with different sized literature and to his right was what seemed the bathroom room.
"I do hope it isss to your liking" Orochimaru told him with a mocking tone, where else was he supposed to go? Back home? "I'm sssure betraying your village and leaving the Hyuuga girl hasss gotten you exhausssted, I'll leave you to ressst" Orochimaru chuckled as he left "Oh one lassst thing-" Orochimaru took out a phone.
"Expect callsss from me, Kabuto or Kimimaro" and with that he had left. Who the hell was Kimimaro? Guess it would only heard his voice now, when Kimimaro texted him to answer and be quiet, until he heard something interesting, which he did; when he mentioned Konoha.
After hanging up he threw the phone on the bed and headed towards the field just outside of the hide-out. He needed to work on his agility, Keiji as well.
He took out his white long sleeve shirt and only left his black baggy sweat pant; which still managed to show his V line; as he threw the shirt to the floor, his muscles dance with the rhythm of him moving. He looked straight ahead and saw Orochimaru 'human sacrifices' as he called them.
Sasuke took out his Katana, a sword of Kusanagi that Orochimaru gave him "Her name isss Katana, I'm sure you'll make good ussse of it" the sword was a bit larger than any other chokutō Japanese style fighting sword; it has a black scabbard and matching hilt, the blade itself was strong enough to cut through metal. He'd make good use of it alright.
Not even a week here, and he had already managed to block all his emotions; that was a must in the mission. He needs to forget everything, everyone.
His Katana was next to him like Keiji always was too "Sit" he told Keiji and of course he sat "Stay" he told him. He walked towards the field, the man that Orochimaru had under his control bowed before they attacked him.

He could now see the village, at 200 mph it had only taken 2 hours; still it felt like he was never going to get there, the black Tahoe's still behind him. He entered the village…seeing so much destruction around him only fed his anger and vengeance.
He headed to the Kazakage tower, where he knew Temari was when he had gotten the call from her, only it hadn't been her. He stopped the car and got out and made his way up the stairs.
The doors of the three Tahoe's opened and out of them came out; Kakashi Hatake, Maito Gai, Asuma Sarutobi, Genma Shiranui, Iwashi Tatami, Raidou Namiashi, Kotetsu Hagane, Aoba Yamashiro and Izumo Kamizuki; all Military police of Konoha.
The orders from the Hokage were to find and eliminate the enemy if they were still in the village and assist the wounded.
The Leader of them was Kakashi Hatake, he looked around "Sarutobi, you and I will seek the enemy out, I'm sure after all of this one would be wounded" Sarutobi nodded "-the rest, help the wounded and let the Sand know we are here to assist with whatever they need" with that said the six that were left in charge to assist scattered in all the directions.
Sarutobi looked at Kakashi "How are we going to find them?" Kakashi headed back to the truck and opened the back, letting his eight dogs specializing in tracking. Pakkun, Bull, Urushi, Shiba, Bisuke, Akino, Ūhei and Guruko.
Kakashi didn't need to put leash on them and simply "With man's best friend" the dogs sniffed the air and began running towards the sandy mountains behind the village "Looks like they found something or someone" Asuma told him. They had arrived there within a few minutes "Looks like this is the way they entered" Kakashi mentioned seeing the wall destroyed.
Tayuya wouldn't stop cursing, she was bleeding from her upper abdomen "That fucken Baki was tougher than he looked" Jirobo was letting her lean against him "That cuts looks deep" Jirobo told her "No shit, fatso! Just shut up and carry me, but I swear if you-"
"Enough" Kiminaro told them "We must hurry, we are still in Suna territory -" Kimimaro looked at Tayuya "Can you continue?" Tayuya felt dizzy but nodded "I can" Kimimaro took out his bone sword, a sword harder than steal, yet light to carry. Tayuya couldn't help but be scared "We have company"
"Get her out of here-" Kimimaro began to say when they were surrounded by six dogs "What the-" Kidomaru questioned "Sorry we're late, you wouldn't believe the traffic-" came in the voice of Kakashi "It seems as though we must fight our way out of this one-" Kimimaro said.
"Okay let the games begin once more" Kidomaru teased. Who was he kidding, the battle had taken so much energy and they were going to have to fight again. Worse part was that the men that Orochimaru had given them, where all gone, the sand provided to be a tough battle.
Asuma put on his knuckles knives and let the smoke of his cigarette out. Time wasn't wasted as Kakashi and Asuma charged. Jirobo managed to hide with the inured Tayuya, once he had put her in a safe location away from where they could find her he headed back to assist the rest in the fight.
Gai waited for the signal, as soon as Pakkun the small pug of the tracking dogs gave a small bark, he followed him.
Pakkun had leaded him to where they had hidden the injured Sound. Pakkun got out of the bushes alongside Bull, the large black bulldog and ran towards Tayuya, she didn't have time to react as Bull put all his weight on her and Gai managed to cover her mouth with a cloth which and been damned in chloroform, knocking Tayuya out cold "Off" Gai said as Bull got off.
Gai took her and headed back to the trucks without anyone noticing, after all the others were still in the fight.
"Retrieve-" Kimimaro ordered; Kidomaru threw a smoked grenade, as the smoke spread Kakashi and Asuma stepped back. The warm breeze of the sand flew the smoke away leaving Kakashi and Asuma as well as six angry dogs on the open field.
"Are you sure this is where you left Tayuya?" Jirobo nodded "There is blood on the floor" he stated, Kimimaro "She's gone" Kidomaru said. Oh man, Lord Orochimaru wasn't going to be happy.
He just hoped that when Lord Orochimaru found out, he would not die. I mean Jirobo was the one who has lost her after all "Lord Orochimaru will not be happy about this-" Kimimaro said taking out his cellphone.

Temari opened her eyes, her head was hurting and she felt dizzy "G-Gaara?" he had found her knocked out in the tower.
"I'm here Temari" Baki had been there aiding to her; "I am sorry I wasn't here to protect her" Baki bowed "She is still breathing, that's all that matters. You were fighting off the sound for them not to enter here."
"One managed to enter without my knowledge" Baki felt guilty about what had happen "I-it's okay Baki" Temari told him. Gaara looked up at him "Call the medic team"
"I'm fine, he used a cheap shot to knock me out with chloroform-" she touched her head "I'm just dizzy, that's all"
"Where is Kankuro?" Gaara asked standing up with Temari "He is helping the wounded, I got word that Konoha shinobi are here" Baki questioned and Gaara nodded "They have given us their strength as we have given them our strength to bring a rouge shinobi"
"A rouge shinobi?" Baki questioned "Sasuke Uchiha" Gaara told him. Baki was now brining a chair so that Temari could sit down. Gaara looked out the window; the damaged wasn't great, minor house destruction; it is as if they hadn't tried at all. What was there purpose for such a battle?
Izumo alongside Kotetsu were helping the sand shinobi assist the wounded in the streets. Covering a few sand shinobi and praying for them. It seemed that many men were mostly injured; only 18 K.I.A
Izumo knew that for the families of the shinobi it would be hard. It had been and would still be a dark day for the sand and its people. The streets was covered in enemy blood, Kotetsu looked up at the sky "It seems that Mother Nature will wash the tainted streets with the enemy blood"
Aoba with the rest of them nodded "Every sound shinobi has been taken out of the village" Raidou nodded "We've let the people know it's safe to come out"
Iwashi and Genma with a few sand shinobi came to inform them that the Kazekage was going to make an announcement. The village gathered around the tower, both civilians and shinobi bowed as the Kazekage made his way out.
Gaara looked at them and began "I apologize for not being here to protect you as your Kazekage. To those who died protecting the village, they will never be forgotten; they will forever be in our hearts"
He didn't expect nothing out of them, that is until one little girl with sandy brown hair and eyes to match came up to him and looked up at him; she was maybe 5 years of age "I forgive you Lord Kazekage" she told him with a kind smile; after that he looked up seeing so many cry and smile nodding their head.
He closed his eyes and opened them again "Thank you" he told the little girl. Kotetsu had been right; Mother Nature was now helping wash the blood of the enemy. The rain was cool as it hit his skin he bowed to his people, he didn't know it but tears had mixed and wouldn't be found within the rain drops that fell.
"Now to fix our village!" a man yelled "Yeah!" the village answered. The villagers didn't waste time as the men began to repair the damaged roofs of the house that took the destruction. The rain had not and was going to bother them.

"What do you mean they got Tayuya?" the voice that was clearly Kabuto's asked "She was injured in the attack and it seems that Konoha came to assist-"
"Were you not far away from the village as they arrived" Kabuto's voice roared "-They caught up because of her injuries-?"
"Then you should have killed her" Kabuto told Kimimaro "-at least dead they won't get any information from her."
Kimimaro "I do not thing Tayuya will break that easily" he heard Kabuto growl "Let's just hope they don't use Ibiki"
Kimimaro didn't say anything "Do you want us to retrieve her?"
Kabuto had answered Lord Orochimaru cellphone the incoming call from Kimimaro, since he was out with Sasuke "Lord Orochimaru-" came Kimimaro voice "No, it's Kabuto, he's out with Sasuke"
"It seems that Konoha shinobi have their hands on Tayuya-" anger rose up as he asked "What do you mean they got Tayuya" was he serious? How the fuck do you…it was a good thing he answered too; not that Lord Orochimaru wasn't going to find out.
He was but Lord Orochimaru hadn't been…he'd been moodier than usual and if he knows that Konoha managed to capture Tayuya; the fires of hell would rise to the sky and beyond.
So what if Tayuya was injured in the attack in Suna, being captured by Konoha shinobi was bad enough "Then you should have killed her at least dead they won't get any information from her"
"I do not think Tayuya will break that easily" he growled, he was mad that even with the men that Orochimaru had given them they had managed to get their hands on of them!
"Do you want us to retrieve her?" yes that would be the wise think to do but he couldn't risk the others being captured, after all they had just attacked a village, he knew they would be tired and that gave the enemy the advantage to get them even faster.
"No. Let's just hope they don't use Ibiki" he didn't have anything else to say and hung up. he wanted to throw the phone against the cold wall but he just took some deep breaths.

Hiashi bowed to the women in the porcelain cat mask "Thank you" he told her. She bowed and was about to leave "W-wait" Hinata said, she turned around and faced the semi-shy girl "Yes?"
"What i-is happening to Suna?" she asked, the porcelain masked tilted a little "I am sorry but that is classified"
"Please-" she said "I'm sorry" she told her again before she left, leaving a worried Hinata behind. She was worried for Gaara; he looked really…well really bad. Hiashi and Hinata headed to the kitchen, Hinata sat on the chair and saw Hiashi put some water to boil for tea.

It was now a week since Gaara had left back to Suna; after answering Temari call, now she wondered if it had been her who answered. Shukaku was sad that Gaara had left him, don't get it wrong he liked Hinata ever since she smelled her sweet lavender scent but…he whined "He hasn't forgotten about you" she told the Bullmastiff.
Shukaku whined again, he'd never been away from his master for so long. Was he okay? He whined again followed by a small yet long cry "Come here-" she told him, the Bullmastiff got up from the edge of the window and walked over towards the bed where she was sitting, he put his head on the bed, Hinata smiled and petted his head "-It's okay" she told him "How about we go for a walk?"
Shukaku wag his tail a bit hearing the word 'walk' she smiled at him "I'm worried for him too" she told him, she was and wouldn't stop worring but right now Shukaku needed her. With a smile she got up and told her beloved dogs and Shukaku that is was time to take a walk.
She headed down stairs and saw Neji with Tenten in the kitchen "Hey Hinata" Tenten said as she looked at her "Going for a walk?" she nodded "Where if father?" she asked Neji "I believe he is visiting Lord Hokage-"
"Arf!" Kuro barked getting her attending, "Okay, let's go" she looked back at them and waved, Neji nodded and Tenten waved. Opening the door she let the dogs go ahead of her and closed the door behind her. The dogs began walking and smelling the ground. Hinata took in the cool breeze; the village was quite busy in the morning.
Kids were out playing ninja; the elder men were playing shogi or chess. The elder women were either washing clothes or vegetables for supper. "Hinata?" she heard the familiar voice of…a smile appeared on her face "Yukari" she had recognized those brown eyes along with her flowing brown hair and smile anywhere "It's been a while, how have you been?"
"Good. How about you? How is Yamato?" she asked her. Yukari smiled "He's doing well he's resting from the mission he just got back from-" Hinata couldn't help but think of when he and Neji encountered Sasuke.
"-it was a simple escort, from what he could tell me" still smiling she said "-he's looking over Yuri"
"How are Yuri and Oreo?" Hinata couldn't help but smile remembering the cute little girl with her little cat, Yukari sighed "My husband found another kitty, I'm afraid that if he goes on other missions and for every mission he brings a kitty-" she smiled "I'll be the crazy cat lady"
Hinata smiled "Yuri s-sure loves kitties" Yukari nodded "Yes she does, and it seems you like dogs" she couldn't help but notice the large eight dogs near Hinata and herself "Yes"
"Doberman, right?" Hinata nodded "What about him?" Yukari pointed at Shukaku "A Bullmastiff, he belongs to the Kazekage"
"How is the Kazekage? Is he still in Konoha?" Hinata sadly shook her head "He went back to Suna-" she petted Shukaku "But he will be back soon" Yukari smiled "Would you like to join me for a cup of tea?"
Hinata looked at Yukari and smiled "I would love to but I h-had already promised them a nice walk?" Yukari smiled "It's okay. Maybe next time, my home is always open for you and the Kazekage"
"Thank you" she told her, after they said their goodbyes each headed their own separate ways. Shukaku wagged his tail as they once again began to walk to the heart of the village. This village was full of life, and color.
Back home all he would see was sand and sand; don't get it wrong, he loves his home and the hot sandy storms and the village, but a place like this for a few days hadn't been so bad; he did miss Gaara.
Gaara had been so busy that he didn't remember he owned a phone; leaving it in his room, it had uncharged. He did miss Shukaku and Hinata. He hadn't had time to message her, let alone call her. The past few days had been a lot to work with.
After the memorial of the fallen; he had personally gone to the families to give his sincere condolences. The families thank him for his kind words. Of course they were devastated for their loss but proud of their loved ones.
The last visit had hit him right in the heart; it was the little girl that had forgiven him a week ago as he had apologized to the village for not being there as their Kazekage should have been. Her father had died in battle.
"Mrs. Hama" Baki said to her with a sincere look "Sayuri (Small lily)is fine, please come in Lord Kazekage" Gaara entered their home to see the little girl looking at a picture of her father "Hikari" the mother caught her attention "-p-please go to your room, I'll be up there in a second"
Hikari (Light) still with the picture at hand she walked up to Gaara "Is daddy in a better place?" Gaara looked at her eyes, she had obviously been crying. His throat felt dry and itchy "Yes" a sad smile appeared on her face "Thank goodness" she excused herself and headed up to her room.
"I named her after her father, Hiraki" she smiled "I'm honored with your visit, Lord Kazekage-"
"Hiraki was a great shinobi; he as well as every shinobi here are the strength and pride of our village" Gaara told her. Fresh tears fell from brown eyes "Thank you for your k-kind words" she told him.
Gaara reached for his pocket and took out the tags that Baki had found and handed it to her "He would want these to go to you" she grabbed them and said "Thank you" as fresh tears fell
"Once again, we am sorry for your loss; if you need anything don't hesitate to ask" Gaara told her as he had told the other families. After
Suna had been in financial aid but thanks to the help from Konoha, the village would be in debt; he owed Konoha a lot.

Neji finished the water he had poured himself when he heard a knock at the door "Who could that be?" Tenten ask, she saw Neji walk towards the door and opened it, Tenten put the water glass down and saw that Neji stretch out his hand and nodded; closing the door he walked to the kitchen "Who was it" she asked curiously.
"It's a letter for Hinata, from the Kazekage" Tenten smiled and walked up towards him "Really?" he nodded "Well what are you waiting for lets go give it to her" she then looked back at him as she heard Neji ask "Doesn't he have a phone?"
Tenten sighed "It's more romantic like this" she couldn't help but smile "-plus I don't think Hinata ever gave Gaara her number, she might have been too shy as well as for Gaara to ask for it"
Neji clipped the letter to a magnetic clip and put it in the fridge "She should be back soon." he smiled "Want to go get some ice cream-" she frowned "You know I love the ice cream from Otafuku town" Neji took his keys out from his pocket "Let's go" he smiled at her "Really?" she asked him, he nodded
"Okay" she then looked at him "Which car?" Neji smiled and said "The Jaguar"
Tenten grabbed her phone and headed outside. Neji locked the door and then both headed to the pearl colored 2011 Jaguar KJL; he still has his Silver Corvette z06. After all, that is the only thing he has left of his father. It had been his father' car when he was his age.
*His father Hizashi, twin brother of his uncle Hiashi, had died in battle when he was only four. He remembers his father as a brave man and a caring father.
In his early years, when he was 13 years of age, he had grown up with anger inside for his father's twin brother. He hated his uncle, from what he learned on his own, Hiashi was the one who was supposed to take the mission; the mission that had taken his father's life. He despised Hiashi and Hinata wasn't far from being hated. He had pretty much been a bully to her in her middle school years.
Naruto as well as Kiba and Shino had protected her from his rage and mean comments. Back then he had always thought that when everyone is born, they are born with their own destiny. He was person that had grown without a father, yet he was a genius according to everyone in the village.
Naruto had even fought Neji telling him that "No one can determine another destiny" remembering how he was back then, you can pretty much agree that he was an arrogant jerk tell Naruto "Once a failure always a failure, you can't change that" he was even low enough to ask Naruto how would he know how it feels to lose someone he loves if he has been alone his entire life already.
Naruto had been the one to open his eyes, telling him "You can make your own destiny, your own paths and life choices because unlike me you're not a failure"
After the fight had been stopped by Kakashi and Genma; and both Naruto and Neji were in separate room in the hospital, Hiashi had stopped by and had told him how his father wanted to go on that mission because he had business with one of the cloud shinobi named Gashira.
But who would have thought that it would have been Gashira who had taken his father's life because he wanted to know Konoha shinobi secrets and traits, something he could use against them when the Cloud village attacked. Gashira had killed him thinking it was Hiashi; leader of the mighty Hyuuga clan.
He never knew it had been his twin. Once he had entered the village and had seen him, Gashira had thought he was seeing a ghost saying "I killed you" Hiashi didn't think twice and had killed him right there and then.
ANBU had shown up afterwards confirming the murder of his brother. Hiashi told Neji how devastated he had been. ANBU had given him a few letters; some that were address to him and Neji. Neji had taken the letters from his father and read them, one by one; tears fell as many of his letters said not to blame his uncle for the mission he wanted to take. The mission that took his life
He had been keeping an eye on Gashira for some time now; who he knew was working under Orochimaru to destroy Konoha. Even before he was born; that fucken snake of Orochimaru wanted to destroy the village.
After clearing the thick air with in the family with his uncle it was his turn to clear the air with his cousin; Hinata.
Back then even Lee thought of him as the self-centered jerk, Tenten had to stop a few fights herself. He was full of anger and hurt. Hinata had taken all his anger, all the verbal abuse and all his angry tears (she however knew they were sad tears)
Hinata took all of it, she even had the soft, kind and gentle kind heart she always had to tell him "Y-you already have too much p-pain and anger within your h-heart so I'm glad to take all of your pain and a-anger away; I'll always be here for y-you N-Neji"
He had fallen on his knees asking for forgiveness; Hinata helped him up saying that there was no reason for him to ask for forgiveness; because she had already forgiven him.
When he turned 16, his uncle gave him the key to the car and a letter to him from his father. Neji had cried of course and the only one that had seen him and had been there for him had been Hinata and Tenten. He'd made a promise to himself that no matter where he was if Tenten and Hinata needed him; he'd be there for them and he has, up to now*
Neji and Tenten opened their side of their door "Let's check the park" Neji turned on the car and drove towards the park.
Hinata had stopped at a nearby tea shop and had ordered a small herbal tea. The sweet old man who owned the tea shop always loved seeing her come to his small shop, after all she was regular here "Here you go-"
Hinata looked at the old man and gave him a curious look "What is it?" she asked as she took the small bag from his shaky hands "Some treats for you dogs" Hinata thanked him as a small blush appeared on her face "Arf" and "Woof" was heard from the dogs outside "You're welcome" the sweet old man told them. She sat on a small round table just outside the tea shop.
Tenten took out her phone and then bit her lip "Neji, do you think Gaara will be back soon?" turning to the direction of the main gate Neji said "Perhaps once everything is settled-" he sighed "-although I'm sure by now the five great nations found out about the attack in Suna; some may see that as an opportunity to attack once more. I don't think Gaara would want to risk leaving the village again."
Tenten sighed, in a way she felt bad for Gaara. I mean he looked (from what she saw) comfortable here with Hinata and in general. After all maybe this was the only few days where we could be Gaara not the Kazekage. He's got to do papers, paperwork and everything in between and that to her sounded pretty boring.
Then she smiled "Maybe we can visit him one of these days" Neji didn't say anything for a moment "We can" he told her "-but you can't be playing cupid Ten" she looked at him and said "I'll try not too"
Hinata frowned and touched the side of her head, Ai licked her other hand and whined "I'm f-fine" she felt dizzy and nauseous. Had it been something she ate? Lately she had been eating a bit more; she saw no harm in that. She took small breaths "Hinata?" she heard a familiar voice "Kiba" she said as she stood up only to fall back.
Kiba had been playing with Akamaru outside in the front yard "Fetch" he yelled as he threw Akamaru yellow ball, Akamaru would catch and retrieve it, giving in back to Kiba so he could throw it once more. Kiba threw it once more only to have Akamaru stop and sniff the air, wagging his tail he barked "What is it?" he asked.
Akamaru wag his tail even faster. Kiba smiled "Is it Hinata?" Kiba only knew he wagged his tail that fast for one person and one person only; Hinata. "Is she nearby?"
"Arf arf arf arf" Akamaru barked at him "Okay let's go" Kiba didn't even bother on picking up the ball again because once Akamaru smelled Hinata there was no way he'd pick up that ball again. Akamaru bark at Kiba, pretty much to tell him to hurry the hell up "I'm coming, I'm coming"
She was sitting at a nearby the shop just a few blocks from his house. Hinata as well as himself and Shino are a regular at old man Shiro's teashop with Shukaku and her Dobermans. Guess Gaara hadn't been back for him. Gaara looks like he really cared for his dog and wouldn't abandon him.
With the attack on Suna and all and being Kazekage of course his guess was that he couldn't leave the village and be vulnerable to attacks from other villages or gangs. Hinata has been taking care of the Bullmastiff. He smiled and called her name "Hinata" he saw that she was holding her head as if it was hurting "Kiba" a smile appeared on her face "Kiba" she stood up, he ran towards her as he noticed she was falling back.
"Hinata!" he yelled, he had managed to catch her before she hit the floor. He carried her bridal style "Old man Shiro!" he yelled, the door opened from the teashop "Call an ambulance" the old man didn't hesitate and went to the counter where the cord phone was. "Hinata" Kiba called out "Come on Hinata, wake up" he couldn't help and worry "Hinata"
Hinata felt her hand being licked "Hinata?" she heard her father's voice "How are you feeling?" she slowly opened her eyes, it was blurry at first but her eyes soon adjusted to the light "Where am I?" she asked
"Konoha hospital" he turned to her right and saw and worried Kiba looking at her "Kiba?" he nodded "You okay?" he asked her, she nodded "I'm okay. I just felt dizzy"
"Have you been eating?" Hiashi asked her. Hinata nodded "I have" Kiba looked at the door "So is this so called doctor Tsunade the best?" Kiba asked the older Hyuuga. Hiashi looked at the younger son of Tsume Inuzuka; he knew Kiba saw Hinata as a sister, so he was worried for her.
Hiashi nodded "She's one of the best; lucky for us she was nearby, in Otafuku town within a few hours the team Lord Hokage sent to find her found her and brought her back" Hiashi sighed "Somewhat unwillingly of her but as the first granddaughter of the First Hokage, Hashirama Senju and the grandniece of the Second Hokage; Tobirama Senju. Konoha is her home"
Hiashi smiled "She also helped my wife, Hanako with the delivery of both our daughters and my twin brother's son, Neji" he looked at Kiba "And I'm sure she helped your mother deliver Hana and yourself."
Kiba looked at Hiashi "Wait the first granddaughter of the first Hokage?" wow that was a big thing.
Hinata looked confused "A few hours?" Hinata asked "How long was I asleep f-for?" she looked at her father "Just a few hours honey" Hiashi told her "What happened?" he asked worriedly.
He had been at home reading the paper when he had gotten word from the porcelain cat masked ANBU that Hinata was in the hospital. He had picked up Hanabi from school and headed to the hospital.
A door to the room opened and in came Hanabi with a herbal tea at hand "Here I brought this for you, Hinata" a smile appeared on her face, Kiba helped her sit up straighter on the bed before Hanabi handed her the styrofoam cup with the herbal tea "Thank you" she told her.
Hinata smelled the herbal tea but she felt nauseous just smelling it "What's wrong?" Kiba asked her as she handed him the cup. Hinata looked at Hanabi; Hanabi gave her a smile "Did you want something else?"
Hinata bit her lip "Orange j-juice and cranberry?" Hanabi nodded "Kiba?" he looked at her "Water is fine, thanks" she looked at her father "Daddy?" Hiashi extended his arm to Kiba "I'll have the herbal tea, thank you." Kiba smiled and handed him the tea "Okay, I'll be back" she told them and headed out the door.
A few moments later a knock was heard at the door, Hiashi looked to see "Lady Tsunade" Hinata looked at the women with light-skinned, brown eyes and straight, blonde hair that was ties into two loose ponytails. "How are you feeling, Hinata?" Hinata couldn't help but blush a little "A b-bit dizzy"
Tsunade smiled "Have you been eating well?" Hinata nodded "-resting well and you keep yourself hydrated?" Tsunade looked at her folder that had information on Hinata medical record. "It says you're 21?" Hinata nodded. She smiled remembering the small cute Hyuuga as a child.
"Lady Tsunade" Hiashi said her name getting the women attention "When can Hinata leave?" Tsunade looked at Hinata and back at Hiashi "Hinata?" Hinata gave her a questionable look "Yes L-Lady Tsunade?"
Oh so she didn't know. Tsunade smiled and took a small breath "You're pregnant" Hinata looked at her; her eyes had widened a little before she saw blackness. She had fainted. "Hinata!" Hiashi immediately went to the side of the bed.
"She's fine" Tsunade assured him "None of you knew, huh?" Tsunade looked at the older Hyuuga, who was still in shock from the earlier news she had given them all. He shook his head "No, I…we didn't know"
"P-pregnant?" Kiba stuttered after a few minutes, Tsunade looked at the boy who was sitting near Hinata asked "Yes, she is expecting a baby, she's about three weeks pregnant" she told them both.
About ten minutes later, Hinata managed to wake up "Hinata?" she heard her father's voice. She once more she had to get adjusted to the lights before sitting up. Tears formed in her light lavender eyes "P-pregnant?"
"This must be overwhelming?" Tsunade asked her. Of course it was. I mean she had fainted. Hoping she wasn't going to faint again when she woke up and realized it hadn't been a dream
Hanabi had come in a few minutes after Hinata had fainted. She the orange cranberry for Hinata on the small table next to the bed and was handing the water to Kiba but he didn't get it Hanabi had asked what was wrong "I can't believe she's p-pregnant, oh gosh now I'm stuttering."
"Wait what? Hinata's pregnant?" Hanabi asked Tsunade nodded "When she wakes up just give her time, don't say the word pregnant"
"P-pregnant?" was the first word that had come out of Hinata mouth once she had sat down and adjusted her eyes to the lights once more.
"This must be overwhelming" Tsunade saw the tears that she tried so hard to keep finally fall hitting the white sheets that covered her "Baby?" she turned to face her father but soon enough looked down letting more tears fall "I'm s-s-sorry d-daddy" she felt ashamed she couldn't look at him.
Hiashi saw her daughter look at him and soon looked away; did she feel ashamed? "Hinata-" still she didn't look at him "-don't be sorry." Why would she? There was reason for that. Knowing his daughter, Hinata she might think that sex before marriage is something to be ashamed of.
"You will be a great mother" she heard Tsunade tell her. Hinata couldn't look at her father "Hinata, baby, don't feel ashamed for-"
"B-being p-pregnant?" she heard Hinata cry out "Yes. Look Hinata, we'll raise that baby and we'll do an amazing job" he meant every word of it "I'm not mad or ashamed at you. I'm going to be a grandfather" he saw Hinata finally look at him and saw him smile, tears were drowning his eyes but they hadn't fallen yet "Daddy" Hinata said before she hugged him "Oh baby, it's going to be okay" he told her.
"Well Hinata if you have any questions-" the door opened and in came "Lord Hokage?" Tsunade looked at him. He bowed their head and with a smile he looked at Hinata "Hinata you have met Tsunade, correct" Hinata nodded "Good-" he then smiled at Tsunade "Tsunade from this day forward, until Hinata gives birth; you will be their private nurse"
Hiashi looked at the Hokage "Lord Hokage-" Sarutobi raised his hand "-I want to make sure Hinata will fine during her pregnancy." Sarutobi looked at Hinata,
"I'd love to" Tsunade didn't heist to answer Hiashi, Hinata and as well as Kiba and Hanabi looked at the blonde women "L-Lady Tsunade" she smiled at Hinata "You seem like a cool girl" Hinata blushed at her comment "Thank you" Hiashi told him. Sarutobi walked over towards Hinata "Congratulations, Hinata"
Hinata smiled at him and couldn't help but blush "T-thank you" Sarutobi looked at her "I want you to be happy and healthy" he told her "You will be a great mother" he looked at Tsunade and nodded "Please report to me weekly"
"Of course" Tsunade told him "If there is anything I can do, don't hesitate to ask Hiashi" once everyone has said their thanks and goodbyes. Hanabi got up and grbbed her sister things from the small closet.
Hanabi handed Hinata her small over the shoulder purse "I'm going to be an aunt" Hanabi couldn't help but smile. Kiba grinned "And I'm going to be-" Hanai looked at him "You will be that dog boy and you will like it" Kiba growled "I'm going to be the godfather!"
Hanabi frowned "More like the dogfather" both were so happy. Kiba looked at Hinata "Really to go?"
Hinata nodded "Lady Tsunade" Hiashi told him "Our home is your home" Tsunade smiled "One question"
"What is it?" Hiashi asked her "Do you mind having a small pig around your house"
"A pig?" Hanabi asked "Yes, he's like a dog except he's a pig" Hiashi saw how Hinata and Hanabi and even Kiba smiled "It won't bother me." he wasn't lying just to see his girls happy. I mean after all Tsunade had delivered both Hinata and Hanabi.
Hinata then remembered "Where are the d-dogs?" Kiba helped her up from the bed "They're fine, I took the dogs over to my place, Hana and…Iruka are watching them" after a few months of them…dating and he getting the goose bumps off his system he and Iruka had become a bit closer in a way "-so don't worry about them"
Hinata was now ready to just go home; Tsunade opened the door and let them out "Let's go home" Hiashi told her, Kiba and Hanabi walked out after Hiashi and Hinata. Tsunade headed to the front and checked Hinata out and picked up her beloved Tonton who had been sleeping. Since Shizune; her assistance, was out in the Lighting country for her last year of medic-school.
So that left her and her beloved pig, Tonton had been staying in Otafuku town, that was until Kakashi and Asuma had asked to come back to the village and help Hinata. She felt unwillingly but then remembered the promise she had made to Hinata mother. So here she was, back home.
They walked towards the truck, her beloved Tonton in her arms "So you have a dog?" Tsunade asked the younger Hyuuga, Hanabi smiled "Yes. One, no" Tsunade wasn't sure what she was talking about. Hinata and Kiba were a few feet from Tsunade who was talking to Hanabi "K-Kiba" Kiba looked at her "I won't tell anyone" he smiled at her. She didn't smile "Hinata if you need anything" he put his hand gently on her shoulder "-I'll be here"
Everyone got in the pearl color Cadillac "Hinata did you want to eat something before we head home?"
Hinata bit her lips "R-ramen sounds good" she saw her father nod "Ichiraku ramen it is" he pulled out of the hospital and drove towards the small shop near the heart of the village.
He would have thought that the small shop would have lost its business but because of the blue eyed blonde hair loud-mouth Naruto it had gone up with its customers. He didn't mind Naruto or the rest of the rookies, they have always been there for her as well as Hinata has been there for each and one of them.
He parked and everyone got out, Kiba insisting helped Hinata out. They got a table big enough for the five of them "Hinata-" she heard Teuchi voice "Good evening Teuchi" she told him "What will it be today?"
Hiashi looked at the menu "A beef ramen special" Kiba was the first to order "Mm dogfather that sounds good-" Hanabi closed the menu "I'll one of those too please"
"That sounds good-" Tsunade agreed "Hm" Hinata nodded. Hiashi looked at Teuchi "I guess five beef ramen specials, Teuchi" Hiashi told him, Teuchi nodded "Coming right up!"
"Guess your cravings are kicking in" Tsunade told Hinata with a small smile, Hinata looked at her "You'll have weird cravings, maybe something you dislike will look delicious. Do you like sweets?" Hinata nodded Hanabi agreed with her "She loves Cinnamon rolls"
Tsunade smiled "You may crave things that are sour" she shrugged her shoulders "-but every women is different. I know your mother craved a lot of sweets when she was pregnant with you"
Hiashi nodded and looked at Hinata "Your mother made me bake her some cinnamon rolls at 2am, when she was about two months pregnant with you"
"Hiashi? Are you up?" nothing "Honey?" the man finally let an out grunted "I am now" he shut his eyes as her wife turned on the lamp from her side, she was sitting so that meant Hiashi got the light in his eyes "What's wrong, Hanako?" he asked worriedly he had adjusted to the light and was now looking at her.
"I was dreaming about warm cinnamon rolls" a cute blush appeared on her face "You want cinnamon rolls?" he looked over his shoulder "Its 2am" he looked at her "It's cinnamon roll hour" Hiashi sighed "It's okay, I can wait" Hanako frowned. Hiashi pulled of the blankets off "No no, if my girls want cinnamon rolls they'll get cinnamon rolls" Hanako hugged him back and kissed the side of his neck "I love you"
Hiashi smiled "Right now you love cinnamon rolls" Hiashi headed downstairs followed by the soft footsteps of Hanako "Wait for me" she said, Hiashi turned the lights on of the hallway and waited for her at the end "You could rest your eyes while they bake" he suggested "And miss the sight of my wonderful husband bake cinnamon rolls-" she shook her head with a smile "-I don't think so"
Once in the kitchen Hiashi began taking out the pans and things for the cinnamon rolls. Hanako gently rubbed her small belly. Hiashi saw how Hanako touched her belly and gently talked to her unborn baby.
What had helped was that Hanako and himself had made fresh cinnamon batter earlier that day, I guess yesterday, so all he had to do was to was flatten the dough cover it in cinnamon, roll it up and cut it into small circles and put them into the oven to bake.
Hanako headed over to the couch still holding on to her belly and smiling. Hiashi opened the oven as after the timer and used the glove to take out the hot pan, putting it down on a cooling rack he walked over towards Hanako. He smiled at her "Silly girl, I guess you're dreaming about cinnamon rolls again" he headed to the couch with the soft blanket and covered her, he bent down and kissed her forehead.*
Hinata now knew where she had gotten the love for the deliciousness of cinnamon. "Here you go" cam in the friendly voice of Ayame, the daughter of Teuchi. She handed each a bowl and told them to enjoy and dismissed herself. Hinata mouth watered as she inhaled the scent of beef and noodles, breaking her chopsticks in half she grabbed some noodles and blew on them before they entered her mouth.
"Mmm haven't had noodles like this in so long" Tsunade mentioned, Kiba swallowed the hat noodles before he said "Yeah, Ichiraku is the best" Hanabi had mixed the tender beef with the beef broth and noodles before she picked them up and blew on them "Smells good" she said before she put the noodles in her mouth, making the taste buds in her mouth dance.
Hiashi smiled seeing everyone interact with one another; specially Tsunade. Looking as Hinata laugh and smile had been hard for her the past three weeks. He knew Hinata was putting herself together and if she wasn't, he knew Hanabi and himself as well as her beloved friends and dogs would be there to help her up and help her with everything.
Once every one was done with their meal Tsunade had offered to pay for them, they made their way to the Hyuuga household.
"Hinata Tsunade looked back at her from the passenger's side" Hinata looked at her "Yes?" Tsunade thought about how she should ask "Will you be raising your child all on your own?" Kiba clenched his fist "No, she's got me" Tsunade knew the Inuzuka boy wasn't the father of the child "The f-father isn't in my life-" Hinata told her but smiled "-if that's what you mean"
"Sorry, Hinata, I didn't mean it like that-" Hinata still smiled shook her head "You don't have to apologize. I can't keep pretending like Sasuke will come back-" she looked out the window of the truck "-I don't think he would care if he knew I was pregnant, my baby doesn't need a father because I'm going to all him or her twice as much" tears fell as she looked at her "She's not alone" Hanabi told Tsunade.
"She's got me and my father-" and looked at her "And she's go you too Lady Tsunade"
Kiba nodded "Don't forget about me or my family and well as the dogs and about Neji and Tenten and Lee."
Hanabi nodded "And Naruto, Sakura, Sai and his brother Shin." Kiba continued and the Yamanaka clan, the Aburame clan, the Akimichi clan and the Nara clan" Hinata smiled at both Kiba and Hanabi "Thank you"
"So are you going to tell the rookies?" Kiba smiled. Hinata nodded "Yes." She knew even if they found out after she gave birth they'd still there for her. "Dad-" Hinata said as she wiped the rest of the tears away "Yes Hinata"
"Can we stop at Kiba's house to pick up the dogs?" Hiashi nodded "Of course" once there, Hinata and Kiba got out "Will you be staying for a while?" Hiashi asked Hinata "If that okay with you" Hiashi nodded of course just don't be home to late, you've had a long day.
"I'll take her home" Kiba told him. Hiashi nodded and drove back home with Tsunade and Hanabi "Oink" and who would forget about the little pink pig, Tonton. Hinata didn't move "You okay?" Kiba sked as he looked back and had noticed she wasn't moving.
"What i-if the r-rookies judge-" she didn't finish the sentence when she saw Kiba walked towards her and put his hands on both her shoulders at look at her with a smile in his face he told her "They won't" they'd known the rookies since the second grade and he knew they wouldn't judge her for her pregnancy "They'll be there for you"
Hinata bit her lip and let out a sigh of relief "Come on, I'm sure the Dobie's will be happy to see you" Hinata hugged him and with a small thank you, Kiba held her hand and smiled as they both made their way inside the house.
"Mom I'm home" Kiba he yelled after he opened the door "I brought Hinata!" after he said that, he heard footsteps, well sounded more like a stampede. Kiba quickly protected Hinata by standing in front of her and her unborn baby. The Doberman managed to control their happiness at times, but sometimes they were like puppies again when they saw her, this was one of those days.
Kim and Ai somehow managed to out run the males and quickly turned back to face them and snarled making the males dig their claws out, slipping and falling they managed to stop before they touched Kiba. Kimi's hairs as well as Ai's were sticking up, they snarled at the males. Kuro shook himself after he had crashed with his brothers Kira and Kilo.
Eiji and Yuji (who had been staying with them since Itachi was still on his undercover mission) as well as Shukaku along with Akamaru looked at the two females who had out run them and had begun to growl at them. Had they done something wrong? "You have to be careful" Kiba told them with a smile.
After Kimi and Ai after straighten the males out, everyone gently approached Hinata. Ai and Kimi kept their eyes on the males to see how the rough they were with her began walking behind her and Kiba as they made their way to the living room. "Mom's not home" he heard his sister, Hana say.
Kiba didn't question her, his mom was either on a mission or with the Hokage "She's with the clan leaders" Hana smiled and looked at Hinata "How have you been?" Hinata bit her lip. Did she know? Was she pretending to not know?
She didn't care if Hana knew or anyone knew for that matter, she was going to be a mother and she was happy "We're f-fine" she told her "We?" Hana looked at her. Hinata smiled and looked up at her, she swallowed and said "I'm pregnant"
Hana looked at her "Really?" Hinata saw her smile "Oh my goodness, congratulations" Hana headed over to her and hugged her "T-thank you" she told her as she hugged her back. Hana looked at her, but in her head she knew better than to bring up the father of the child; Sasuke Uchiha. He was long gone and Sasuke wouldn't even care about the child he and Hinata had made.
Still smiling Hana told her "You'll be a great mother" she looked at Ai and Kimi who were giving the males a growl or two. "Guess the females know" Hinata looked at Hana "They know?" Hana petted Akamaru "Yes, females have-" she smiled "-you can think of it as a seventh sense, since the sixth sense is sensing paranormal activity. Anyway females and many few males can sense when someone is pregnant"
"So that's why they stopped the dog stampede-" Hana nodded "They didn't want her unborn baby and her to be hurt"
Hiashi was now sitting in the Hokage tower with the Hokage himself and the clan leaders and Tsunade, je looked at them and said "I have brought you here today because-" he looked at Hiashi and nodded , indicating her could take over. Hiashi stood up and bowed thankfully to the Hokage.
"My fellow comrade and friends-" he looked his old comrades and friends; Chouza Akimichi, Shibi Aburame, Tsume Inuzuka, Shikaku Nara and Inoichi Yamanaka; the fathers and Tsume the only female there "-I know your sons and daughters are friends with my daughter and I'm happy to announce that-" he proudly smiled "I will be a grandfather"
"Congratulations!" Chouza said followed by many smiles from the rest "Thank you?" he then frowned "My concern is that if Sasuke Uchiha-" he clenched his jaw and released it "-the father of my grandbaby will find out and would want to take them away" he couldn't risk losing Hinata or his grandbaby "-I am asking for you to protect Hinata and her unborn baby."
Sarutobi looked at Hiashi and back at his shinobi "We cannot risk the thought of Hinata or her baby being taken from the village; after all Sasuke is under the poison of Orochimaru"
"If they think about entering our village they have another thing coming" Tsume told him. "Do not worry Hiashi-" Chouza said "We will make sure no harm comes to your family" nods were followed by the rest of his old comrades.
Hiashi smiled "My family thanks you" after the Hokage had given them his thanks, he looked over to Kakashi Hatake; who had been there since the beginning of the small meeting.
"I need you to spread the word to each shinobi and ANBU no one else." Kakashi nodded "Will they also be in charge of looking over Hinata?"
Sarutobi nodded "Hiashi is right. If Sasuke finds out-" he couldn't have the mission comprehend if Sasuke were to find out Hinata was pregnant with his child "-about Hinata pregnancy, he might want to take the baby away from her"
"Would Sasuke even think about harming the girl he once loved and the baby?" Sarutobi knew Sasuke was incapable to harm Hinata but the mission was a mission, and if to complete the mission he had to hurt Hinata, he wouldn't think twice about it and he couldn't risk that.
"We can't take any risks" Kakashi didn't ask any more questions as he excused himself to inform the rest of the shinobi. "How did Hinata react-" Sarutobi overheard Tsume ask Hiashi "She was shocked-" Sarutobi looked at Tsunade who was now next to him "-Is she doing better?" Chouza asked.
"She is. Thank you for your concern" Hiashi told the head of the Akimichi clan.
"So Hinata being under my care is part of the mission too?" Sarutobi smiled "You're good at what you do Tsunade. Whether it's delivering the next generation or protecting your loved one" Tsunade looked at him and bowed thanking him for his kind words.
The leaders had invited Hiashi and Tsunane for BBQ; Sarutobi had smiled telling them that the BBQ was on him and to enjoy themselves. They headed over to the BBQ place; called Yakiniku.
The large BBQ shop where Asuma, during the high school years he's always take Ino, Chouji and the lazy Shikamaru out to BBQ; guess he had a soft spot for three of his students.
Kakashi had a soft spot for the hyperactive blonde, Naruto and Sakura, as for Kurenai had a soft spot for Hinata, Kiba and Shino. Gai loved his entire students, but he and Lee had a special bond. Naruto still thinks they're related, something about the eyebrows.
"Dad?" the voice of Chouji was heard as he as the rest of the rookies saw their parents enter the restaurant.
Hinata' stomach made a noise that made her face flush a deep red "Sounds like you're hungry" Hana smiled at the girl she saw as a little sister "BBQ?" Kiba suggested "That sounds good" Hana said "Hinata?" she nodded "Mind if Iruka meets us there?" he had left a few minutes before Kiba and Hinata arrived, he had to go to a meeting that the Hokage said was mandatory.
Hana looked at Kiba; she knew that he and Kiba had gotten a bit close but… "Yeah that's fine" Kiba told her. He knew Hana meant well buy asking for his permission, he didn't want to be the reason for feeling controlling in the relationship. He smiled and nodded "Yeah that's fine" Hana took out his phone and texted him saying he wanted to meet there.
Hana smiled as she gotten a text from him saying that he'd love too. "What about the d-dogs?" Hinata asked "I'm sure they'd like to have a free day for themselves" Hana looked at them "All though I'm sure Ai, Kimi and Shukaku will be by your side" Hinata smiled.
"We'll take my car" Kiba told them. He headed over to the living room and grabbed his keys from the center table. Once they all headed outside Kiba unlocked his 2011 grey BMW m3 and looked at Hana "What?"
"Why don't we walk there?" Hana asked "It's only 15 minutes away-" Kiba was about to ask why when he heard Ai bark, letting him know that they were still here "Right" he looked at Hinata "Do you want to walk?" she nodded, she didn't mind at all.
After about 20 minutes or so, since Kiba had to chase the dogs back after seeing a squirrel they saw the BBQ shop and the rookies. "Looks like they all decided to meet up today" Kiba mentioned. Hinata stopped and took small breaths Kiba went up to her and asked if she was okay, Hinata nodded still breathing heavily; Kiba looked at Hana "See I told you we should have brought the cars"
"You okay Hinata?" she saw the poor girl a little flush "Y-yeah just a little nervous" she was nervous, I mean after finding out she was pregnant she didn't know how she would feel around her friends. "Why would you be nervous?" Kiba saw her look at the BBQ restaurant.
"What if t-they-" Kiba looked at her "-j-judge me" Kiba frowned then smiled "It'll be okay. I know the rookies will be there as much as I'm going to be here for you" Hinata trusted him and looked at Hana who smiled "And who ever judges you-" her tone became serious "Then Kuromaru and the trio can deal with them" Hinata hugged Kiba and then Hana.
"Hey, Hinata! Kiba! Hana!" it was of course Naruto who had spotted them, the rookies looked back "Hinata" Naruto ran up to them "Something wrong?" Naruto asked worriedly as he saw Hinata eyes a bit tear up. Hinata swallowed the lump in her throat and shook her head "No I'm f-fine"
Naruto looked at her and asked just to make sure "You sure?" Hinata nodded once more "Hey were you going to eat BBQ?" Kiba nodded "That's why we're here"
"You're just in time, the rookies and I had just arrived as well" the four of them made their way to the rookies "Where's Neji?" Hana asked "Oh right, guess all the rookies aren't here. I think Ino sent Tenten a message to come but Tenten had replied that she and Neji went to Otafuku town for ice cream"
"Just for ice cream?" Kiba questioned, Hinata looked at him and said "They do have the best cinnamon flavor ice cream"
"Private party?" was what they heard Ino and Sakura question "Yes, the Hokage himself asked if we could just serve the following clans" Ino looked at the list "Excuse me but we're the sons and daughter of the clan leaders in the list" the hostess looked at the list again.
The hostess apologized and had let the rookies and Hana in "Why would the Hokage pretty much-" Kiba couldn't think of the word "Rent?" come the voice of Chouza "Dad?" Chouji questioned as the rookies saw their parents enter the restaurant.
Hiashi saw her daughter and walked up to her "Hi dad" she told him with a smile "BBQ huh?" Hinata nodded, she knew her father was referring to the cravings "Well they have the best beef and pork here, in the village" Hiashi told her. The tables have been rearranged into a circle, the chairs being outside of the circle.
Naruto was pretty much crying "You mean it?" Chouza nodded for the fifth time "Yes Naruto-" Chouza smiled at the blue eyed hyperactive loud mouth of Naruto "-he said it was on him and to enjoy ourselves."
"So what's the occasion?" Sakura was the one who asked as everyone was looking at their menus. Hiashi looked at Hinata and his comrades "Should there be an occasion for comrades and family to eat together?" the father of the lazy Shikamaru questioned. Sakura shook her head and didn't say anything else.
Hinata was happy, it'd been a while since everyone eat together like this. She looked at Hana who was happily smiling at her boyfriend Iruka, one of her former teacher. They looked happy and she was happy. Maybe this was the moment she could tell her family; the people here were her family. She looked at Hiashi "Dad?" Hiashi looked at her "What is it? You feeling okay?" he asked.
Hinata nodded at his concerned question "I'm f-fine" she looked around and back at his father. Hiashi saw how Hinata was looking around. Did she want to share the good news with her friends? "Did you want to do it now?" Hiashi asked, Hinata smiled and nodded. Kiba looked at her and smile giving her some encouragement.
Hiashi stood up "Can I get everyone's attention please-" came in the voice of the cool calm Hiashi. The many pair of eyes looked at the Hyuuga man. Hinata stood up and looked around "I umm-" she felt her father's hand on her and she gently squeezed his hand "I want to s-share some g-good new with everyone-" everyone looked at her and waited for the news.
Hinata smiled and with the smile still on her face she said "-I'm pregnant"
It wasn't silence or awkward as Naruto was the first one to scream with joy "I'm going to be a godfather!" everyone congratulated her by hugs and smiles ""
"Congratulations" Shino told her. Ino hugged her "Oh my gosh-" Ino was pretty much crying from excitement "-this mean I…we can go shopping for the baby" Sakura agreed "Yes, we better start now"
"Do you know the sex of the baby?" Shino asked Hinata. "You can't find out the gender of your baby at about five months" they heard Tsunade. Sakura sighed "So I guess we have to wait" she frowned at the thought of baby shopping until her friend was five months.
"So how many weeks are you?" Sakura asked; she couldn't help herself, she just needed to touch her belly "I feel a small belly" Sakura squealed. Hinata (after Sakura said thank you for the belly touch) touched her belly, it wasn't big but it was hard, she smiled as she touched it.
"I am happy for you Hinata" Shin told her "You will be a great mother" Sai commented "Thank you" she told them. After everyone had given her a hug and for those few that couldn't resist touching her belly, they sat back down "Cheers, to Hinata!" Chouza yelled "To Hinata!" everyone yelled.
Everyone had eaten and was now full and happy. The waitressed thanked them and told them to come back soon, which of course Chouza and Chouji said that they'd be back tomorrow night.
It had been a long and great day for Hinata. Hiashi thanked them for today. Once they were outside, Kiba as well as Sai and Shin had given the dogs leftovers that everyone had saved specially for them. The Doberman and wolves as well as Shukaku devowered them and were happy as the humans had remembered them.

Orochimaru yellow eyes looked at the onyx eye man who was walking towards him. Sasuke had just finished with his training and he was now making his way to his dark room when he saw Orochimaru in the middle of the semi-dark hall "Congratulationsss Sssasuke" the smile that appeared on the snake man made Sasuke aggravated.
Sasuke stopped and looked at the snake man in front of him "Move" Sasuke voice was cold and angry. Orochimaru smiled "Aren't you going to asssk about your unborn child?" Sasuke didn't say anything. What had he just said?
Sasuke's cold eyes looked at the man "Right. You don't know, do you?" Orochimaru asked cruelly "Hinata isss pregnant, with your child" Orochimaru couldn't help but laugh, to him it was fun teasing and toying around with the now emotionless and cold hearted Sasuke; but he knew that once he mentioned that Hinata is having a baby, well he just had to see if Sasuke has not emotions or was he just really good at hiding them.
