Maybe its Best? OFFICIAL Ch 9
Guess whose back, if I got review thank you. Anyway, don't hate me for leaving you in a cliff hanger with the whole Hinata/Gaara moment. I decided to do Gaara with tattoos, I figure why the hell not. More tattoos to come. Enjoy.
This chapter will be going kind of back and forth of when Hinata was in Suna and back in Konoha with Hanabi in the room.
Hinata was now back in Konoha, in her room unpacking her clothes as she heard a knock at the door "Come in."
It was Hanabi she walked in with a smile and she asked "So how was the trip?"
Hinata smiled "It was good. How about yours?"
…
Hanabi sat down and smiled "Konohamaru asked me out." Hinata looked at her younger sister "Really? Did you say yes?"
Hanabi nodded "Yes!" she looked at Hinata "I'm so happy for you." Hinata told her "Thanks" Hanabi looked at Hinata and smiled "So did anything happen in Suna? Anything excited." Despite the 5 year apart, Hinata and Hanabi are very close. Share a lot of things.
"Well-" Hinata bit her left side of her bottom lip "Oh-" she pointed out at her lip biting "Oh something did happen huh?" Hanabi smiled at her.
…
Gaara had finished showering and after putting on his black sweat pants he stopped and looked in the mirror as he was drying his hair with his towel.
He saw one out of his many tattoos on his body; on his left side on his rib cage he had two large roses and around it was a rosary that made it all it was to just above his V shape.
The two roses were in memory of his mother and father after they died but he didn't put the date of death because he carried that inside his heart and memory. All his tattoos had no color, just black ink and shading.
On the other side of his rib cage he had another large tattoo; he only had three big ones, one of each side of his ribs and his back. On the right side of rib cage he had long quote that said…
'Deep within the shadows I creep. Is there something that I seek? To find a reason why I live. For in fear of death, it's death I give this.
Try to see this from my point of view. Full of bloodlust, full of hate I never had a choice in fate.
Is this darkness, or is it light? Who can teach me wrong from right?'
And on his whole back he had a fallen angel who was on one knew as though he was bowing but he was resting he head on his forearms.
His black wings covered most of his back and shoulder blades, with a few feathers on his lower back, the wings almost looked like they were his and he was the one that had fallen.
As Kazekage only few people have seen his tattoos and those few people would be his siblings, Kankuro and Temari and his right hand man ANBU Baki. He had five tattoos but was looking into getting a sixth one.
He heard a knock at the door he quickly came back to his senses and finished drying his hair "Come in."
He reached out for his black shirt that was on his bed and out it on. He turned around to see Temari leaning against the frame of the doorway. Gaara' frosty green-blue eyes looked at Temari.
"What?" Temari shoulder's shrugged and couldn't help but smile "It's just nice seeing you more relaxed, that's all" Gaara knew she was talking about Hinata.
"That little sunflower has powerful ray of sunshine, don't you think?" Gaara looked at Temari and didn't say anything.
She watched Gaara put on the Kazekage robe and mentally sighed because she knew that even though Gaara was a great Kazekage but she also knew that it was a lot to take in, still is, after all he became Kazekage at only age 16; at that age boys everywhere would be dating and enjoying life.
Gaara on the other hand before he had seen the light a few years back. Gaara had a dark childhood, a tough and a lonely one. Her eyes filled with tears just by looking at him.
Back then she and Kankuro were scared of him and in a way she despised him because her father had said that is was Gaara' fault that her mother had died.
Gaara had grew up like every other child, smiling and happy to see his friends but after her uncle, the twin brother of her mother pretty much told Gaara the truth about how he had killed her, Gaara pretty much had lost it, Yashamaru, his uncle was found dead the following morning.
She heard that no-one ever found the killer but she had overhead her father say how no doubt in his mind it had been Gaara. Her father however did nothing to Gaara because ever since she could remember Shukaku; his Bullmastiff had been there to protect him, from everyone and everything.
Shukaku is now a calm and cool dog but before he had hell and death around him along with his owner. Before Gaara found out Orochimaru had killed his father, and gotten the Kanji love on his forehead in honor of him.
Gaara didn't have a close son-and-father relationship with him but he had gotten the tattoo because even though they didn't have a close relationship it was still his father.
Gaara in his teen years was lonely, he didn't have on-one to talk too, after all she and Kankuro were terrified of him and Shukaku no doubt had death written all over him.
The attack didn't happen but when the five great nations heard of the death of the Kazekage, they were leaderless and in chaos as Suna had a weak spot if anyone attacked. The leaf had led them their strength even though they had heard of their attack towards them.
Baki who had taken the roll of head of ANBU had bowed in shame, Sarutobi who had been surrounded by ANBU had told him to stand by, after a few hours well they were at peace with Konoha ever since.
As for Gaara, she didn't know how or whom had helped him see the light because after getting all the self-loving and lonely tattoos he had gotten the large rosary and roses tattoo in dedication of both parents she knew deep very deep down the so called self-loving demon cared for them both.
Because after their father's death Baki had looked for Gaara and handed him a scroll, after that she didn't see Gaara for a month. When she saw him come back from wherever he had been, with his turquoise eyes he said "I'm sorry."
Two words made her realize that it may have been her fault that Gaara grew up alone because Kankuro and she had been so scared of him that they did everything to be away from him so she cried and said "-No, Gaara I should be the one whose sorry."
Kankuro had arrived just a few minutes and after years of hatred and sorrow Gaara had become Kazekage. After a few months of acting like real brothers and sister and showing off his new tattoos that he got while he was gone, which had been the fallen angel tattoo, the long lonely demon quote on the right side of his ribs and the self-loving demon on his collar bone.
Kankuro out of curiosity had asked what made him change. Gaara took out the scroll and showed them. It was a letter from his mother.
"Temari?" his voice brought her back to the frame of his doorway "Huh?"
"Are you all right?" Temari nodded "I'm fine? Why?" Gaara looked at her, because even thought he was her big sister, she was shorter than her but a bit taller than Hinata "Your eyes are sweating."
Temari wiped them with the back of her hand and smiled "Have I ever told you how much I love you?" Gaara looked at her "I'm late for the meeting" he said.
Temari smiled because even though Gaara has never ever said the words 'I love you' to… well anyone, she knew that he cared for her as well as Kankuro and village.
By the time the meeting ended with the elders, the sun was already setting.
"Want to go for a drink?" came the voice of Kankuro. Gaara looked at him and only gave him a nod. Kankuro smiled "So how's the K-9 center coming along?"
"Good, give or take a month or two-" he knew he'd been saying for the past month or so but after the attack, the building had some damage after the attack.
"-since after the attack on Suna." Kankuro looked at him "-well then I guess that calls for a few drinks not just one."
…
"Tell me" Hanabi didn't look away as she still smiled at her sister "-well he umm paid for my craving expenses." Hinata told him.
"Nice," Hanabi told her "You know Gaara is pretty good looking." Hinata looked at her "-I don't mean for me, I mean for you." Hinata sighed "Look it's been over a month, you deserve to be happy Hina and I loved seeing you smile when he was here and you still are after you come from over there."
Hinata knew Hanabi meant well but…But what? "I know you mean well Hanabi-"
"I do, I want you to be happy Hina. I want to see you smile every day. I don't want to see you upset or cry or think of that fucken asshole. I want you to be with someone who cares about you-"
Before Hinata could say anything Hanbai continued "-Yes even a blind person could see that under that toughness look and cool eyes you grew into Gaara Kazekage fair skin."
"He k-kissed me." Hinata said as the stuttered return.
"Aww, really! What happened? Did you kiss him back? When? How did it happen? And did he use tongue!" Hanabi asked before she took a deep breath in the end with a smile.
Hinata was a bit breath less at the least question. "Hanabi!"
"Come on Hina, who am I going to tell?" she gave her the puppy face "and I'll tell you something"
"Besides the fact that you're dating Konohamaru?" Hinata asked her. Hanabi thought about it "Huh, I guess I shouldn't have told you that first."
Hinata' cheek blushed pink just thinking about it.
…
After the thoughtful and close moment back in the Kazekage tower. Hinata was in the room of Gaara' house. Tsunade was out drinking, leaving the small piglet here sleeping and her to…well she wasn't sure what she was going to do, yet.
A knock was heard in the door making Tonton oink "Who is it?"
Silence, well before she heard a loud and happy "Woof" her heart skipped a beat knowing Shukaku wasn't alone, he had to be with Gaara.
She didn't think even bother on putting on her big black sweater; leaving her with her dark blue Capri pants, a white tang top along with a short sleeve black V neck shirt that wasn't so loose on her because of her swollen belly.
Hinata opened the door and slightly look up to see Gaara' eyes looking down at her a smile appeared upon her face as she said "Hi."
She saw Kuro and Shukaku gave each other a few barks and then they were gone "Looks like Shukaku will be showing Kuro around Suna." She couldn't help but smile.
Gaara saw Shukaku leave, leaving both Hinata and him alone "Have you eaten?" he asked.
"No, I was just about to m-make some ramen."
"Both of you need something more than ramen." Still looking at her he said "-are you in the mood for anything in particular?"
Now that he mentioned it, ugh but she didn't want to be a bother "Um, no really ramen is fine." Gaara cool turquoise eyes never left hers "It's no bother Hinata, really."
Hinata smiled "I hear Suna has the best chicken gizzards and candied chestnuts." Gaara was a big fan of gizzards on the other hand candied chestnuts eh; he wasn't much of a chestnut kind of person but if it was for Hinata he was willing to try it.
"We do." He told her. Hinata looked at him, Gaara looked so different from him Kazekage clothes to the normal clothing he'd be wearing out. Example right now was wearing black tight pants that made his thighs and she guessed his butt look well and snugged, maybe even better.
Oh god she was checking him out, she needed to think of something else. He had a black sweater; since it was pull over she didn't know what shirt he had under but if she had to guess he would either have a long sleeve V neck shirt or short sleeve shirt, as he slightly pull down on his sweater by his collar bone she manage to see some ink show.
Wait he had more tattoos? Yeah I mean she knew he had the Kanji of love in his forehead tattooed but other tattoos?
"Is that what you want?" Hinata nodded and smiled "Do you have time now?" she asked, just thinking about the food made her even hungrier then she was just a few minutes ago.
"Yes, are you ready?" Hinata nodded. Hinata then didn't even bother on grabbing her sweater; it was nice outside after all. Now that she thought about it she now began to not wear her baggy sweater all the time.
After what had happen with that purple eyes man (Hidan) she had felt exposed and had begun hiding her body under so baggy clothes but I guess since he was gone and she wanted to move on; to be a new someone, someone that loved herself before someone else.
Hinata stopped to see Gaara' red Lamborghini "The best gizzards are on the other side of town." Hinata smiled "Oh okay." He opened the door; Hinata admired the car doors opening up "Thank you." Gaara closed the door and made his way over to the driver's side.
He drove slowly, sure the Lamborghini is a machine made for speed but Hinata was here so…
"Suna sure is beautiful." It was around 4:30 the sun was towards the middle of the sky, deciding whether he should stay a bit longer or fall behind the Suna sand hills miles away.
Hinata then saw more than a few buildings being rebuilt "Did something happen?"
"Nothing the village couldn't handle, thanks to Konoha." Hinata bit the right side of her lip as she then thought about the phone call, the anger in Gaara' face, the ANBU and him leave earlier than intended.
Had there been an attack? She felt her stomach do a flip or two.
"The sound Village attacked-" he looked at her as he stopped on a red light "-we lost good people-" she saw his hand tighten on the steering wheel. Hinata' heart ached for Gaara seeing him like this; because she guessed he was the one that had to tell family about people not returning home.
Her hand went towards his and she rested it on top, she felt his hand relax a bit under her touch. "I'm so sorry."
"Yeah, I am too." Hinata gently squeezed it "It'll get better, I promise. It's hard knowing good people died but they protected the future of your village."
Gaara looked at her "The future?" Hinata nodded "Yes. The children." Gaara looked at the light; seeing it was green he stepped on the gas making the way towards the shop.
Once there Hinata ordered some chicken gizzards with veggies and a mix of orange and cranberry juice and she couldn't forget the candied chestnuts.
Gaara had ordered some chicken gizzards with a side of roasted vegetables and cold water.
They sat in front of each other Hinata was admiring the shop, there were Japanese paper lights hanging from each corner, making her eyes shine and smile.
"It's beautiful here, Gaara."
"Of all the places, I knew you would have loved this one not just for the food." once the drinks came to the table Hinata took a sip of her juice and looked up at Gaara "Does it hurt?"
Gaara gave her a questionable look "Tattoos." She clarified the question, she was curious. I mean she'd seen people with tattoos before but never asked.
"Not really." Gaara grinned at Hinata' curiosity.
"Oh. Is that the only one you have?" he knew she was talking about the one on his forehead. Gaara shook his head "No, I have six more."
Hinata' eyes widen a bit "Wow" and she meant wow, a big wow actually. I mean Gaara had seven tattoos but that didn't surprise her. He looked like a guy who would have his whole body covered.
She actually wanted to see them, see that they were and the meaning behind them. But it also depended on where he had them.
After the food had arrived Hinata was eating and smiling because the food was amazing. After finishing the gizzard and vegetables she was excited about the candied chestnuts.
True they were only chestnuts slightly candied with a bit of brown sugar and honey but she was a person that preferred sweet over sours but now with her pregnancy she was a bit of both.
Gaara was happy to see that Hinata had finished the gizzard and veggies. He was her smile as she was looked at the chestnuts.
"Would you like one?" Hinata offered "Just one, I'm not much of a chestnut person-" Hinata didn't say anything but Gaara took one and placed it in his mouth. Eh it wasn't bad; you could hardly taste the chestnut so that was good. Hinata smiled as he took one "Not bad."
They were heading back to the house Gaara looked at Hinata "How are you feeling?"
"Fine, thank you and thank you for the food." Hinata looked as the sun was almost done hiding behind the far away mountains, once he's park his Lamborghini Hinata told Gaara "Thank you again."
Gaara saw that she wasn't going inside "Oh um I'm taking a small walk, if that's okay?" she saw the almost protective instinct but he hadn't yet asked where she was going.
"At night?" he knew she had the tendency to walk around at night in Konoha but after all this is Suna.
"The streets of Suna are a bit different, you could get lost." Hinata bit her lip but before she said anything she heard Gaara say "I can go with you, if you want to see Suna at night?"
"I'd like that" she smiled. They were now ten minutes away from the house when Gaara saw the Hinata was rubbing her arms up and down. He didn't think twice and pulled his hoodie up "Here, take it." Hinata stopped and looked. She was right about the long sleeve V neck shirt.
"Oh um thank you." she took it and pulled it over her head; she hugged her self and smiled because it was nice and warm.
"I forgot to mention that it gets chilly at night." Gaara saw Hinata hug herself "It's okay, thank you for leaving it warm." They were making their way back to his house, once there Hinata was about to take off the hoodie when Gaara say is was fine and departed way with a warm goodnight.
Hinata closed the door behind her and as she rubbed her belly she couldn't help but inhale Gaara' scent. Gaara smelled…good; great actually he smelled like the sands of a midsummer night. She was intoxicated by his smell.
Taking off the sweater she put it on the bed headed into the bathroom to brush her teeth and knot her hair into a French braid. She wasn't tired, so taking out her book she sat down and began reading.
After about an hour or two she felt her eyes feeling heavy with sleep, she sat down the book in the side table and turned off the light, putting a pillow between her legs she was about to grab another pillow so she could hug but instead she grabbed Gaara' hoodie and brought in near her face, with a deep breath and a smile she fell asleep
Gaara rubbed the back of his neck with his right hand as his forearm muscle, the one with the broken hourglass on it flex after he let his hand go, he headed to the bathroom and brushed his teeth after that he took off his shoes and shirt, he changed into a pair of black sweats.
He felt something inside of him stir, his inside demon. Gaara' breathing made his chest rise, he closed his eyes and took a long deep breath "Sasuke" he growled. After a few minutes his inner demon began to cool off he let his fallen angel tattoo touch the bed, looking up at the white ceiling he closed his eyes.
The following morning Gaara woke up to hear Kuro outside of his room "Hinata!" he didn't even bother on putting his shirt as he made his way to her room, which was just down the hall. He opened the door only to see Hinata get up fast from her bed and make her way towards the bathroom, he ran after her.
Kuro was watching Hinata sleep, sitting next to her; he knew she was having a pup of her own. And from what he could remember from last time around this time, just a bit after sunrise Hinata would wake up and run to a room to bring the food she had last time out again.
He took his better judgment and headed towards where Shukaku' human would sleep. He didn't want Hinata' eyes to leek again, not for anything or anyone. Kuro whined and nudge the closed door with his nose and next thing that happened was the door flew open and Gaara ran down the hall.
Hinata woke up gently stood up hoping that today wouldn't be a day she threw up but just as she sat up fully when she felt it and ran towards the bathroom and once again tears filled her eyes as she was bent over the toilet.
"It's okay Hinata, I'm here." he managed to grab her long silky braid before she bent over, he was making small soothing circles on her back. After flushing and taking short breaths she was about to wipe a few tears with her hand when she felt Gaara' thumb on her skin, whipping them for her.
"Do you need anything?" Hinata shook her head "I'm fine." Hinata touched her belly with both hands.
"Thank you" Hinata told him.
Her stomach felt a bit better but now she had that butterfly feeling because it took a bit longer to realize that Gaara was in front of her, half naked.
She couldn't help but notice his body; well-shaped pecks and his abs…he looked like he didn't have any fat in him and then she noticed his V line and oh god she was breathless. Then she noticed his tattoos, the few she could only see. On his collar bone there was a quote that said Self-Loving Demon.
Looking down with a slight blush she saw that his forearms were tattooed; both of them actually on the right side she saw an hourglass but it seemed as though the bottom of it was broken and leaking sand on the left side he had a quote but she couldn't quiet read.
After Hinata said thank you, he didn't say anything because he saw her eyes wonder, to his tattoos. He saw her eyes read the Self-Loving Demon tattoo on his collar bone. His eyes never left hers so when she saw him looking at her she looked down but he knew she was looking at his forearm tattoos.
"Is there anything I can do?" Hinata once more looked up at him, a bright blush on her face "Oh um no thank you, right now I'm just going to brush my teeth and wash my mouth." Gaara stepped back and leaded against the door frame.
After that Hinata smiled up at him "I'm f-fine really, just morning sickness." Gaara didn't say anything and stepped back "Call me if you need anything." Hinata nodded before she saw Gaara leave out the door and that's when she saw the fallen angel tattoo on his back, which covered all his back. The wings seemed as though they were Gaara' and not the fallen angel
After taking a cold shower and changing he heard a knock, maybe it was Hinata opening it Gaara saw Kankuro this time "What?"
"We have company from the leaf village." Gaara looked at him and followed him. Out in the front yard he saw "Captain Nara? Sai? What brings you here to Suna?"
"To keep an eye on Hinata, Hiashi knows you'd protect her but-" The lazy Nara Shikamaru looked at the Kazekage "I understand" Hiashi is the father of two beautiful girls its only naturally to want to protenct them.
"How is she doing?" Shikamaru asked him.
"She is doing better-"
"Doing?" Shikamaru looked at Gaara "Did something happen?" Gaara shook his head "It was just morning sickness."
Sai took out one of his women pregnancy book "It says more than 50% of all pregnant women experience morning sickness. Morning sickness refers to the nauseated feeling you get during the first trimester of pregnancy."
"Are you reading a pregnancy book?" Kankuro asked him.
Sai nodded 'It helps. It also says that morning sickness can be, but is not always, accompanied with vomiting. The nausea is a result of the increased hormones in your body. Many doctors think morning sickness is a good sign because it means the placenta is developing well."
"Has she been eating well?" Shikamaru asked him. Gaara nodded at his question.
"Kankuro have a two bedroom apartment ready right away for Captain Shikamaru and Sai"
"Sure." Kankuro excused himself before he left to get a room.
Shikamaru nodded "Thank you but you didn't have to-"
"It's the least I could do, for everything Konoha has done. Nara-" Shikamaru looked at Gaara "-don't worry about Hinata because while I'm here she's save."
"I'm glad to hear that, thank you."
"Should we be following Kankuro?" Sai asked Shikamaru "What a drag." And with that Shikamaru and Sai went to catch up to Kankuro.
Gaara made his way back inside only to see Hinata coming down the stairs. Gaara couldn't help but be mesmerized by the beautiful petite, soft lavender eyes and midnight color hair young women.
"You okay?" he heard Hinata ask. He looked down at her "I am, how about you?"
"I was just about to make some tea, care to join me?"
"Of course."
When the tea was done, Hinata took a seat and set her cup on the glass table "Shikamaru and Sai are here in the village."
"Really?" Hinata asked "Kankuro got them a guest apartment just down the street for them to stay, while they are here. They're resting now."
"Are they here on a mission?" she asked "Sarutobi sent them to keep an eye on you and Tsunade."
"Oh-" she couldn't help but smile, Sarutobi is a sweet man.
Gaara had the whole weekend to spend and protect Hinata since he convinced Temari to take the role of Kazekage while Hinata was in town for the weekend.
…
"Okay I will be Kazekage; I'm only doing this because you're finally seeing the sunshine."
…
"Temari is covering the role of Kazekage-" Hinata set her cup down "Huh, why? Are you feeling okay?" her eyes looked at him with concern.
"I'm fine, don't worry. I asked her to take over for the weekend so I could personally show you around." Hinata couldn't help but blush at that.
"Is there a something you want to do today?" he asked her.
"Um actually today I just wanted to relax, if that's okay with you?" he nodded "No problem. You know where to find me if you need anything."
She bit her lip and took a deep breath "Um would you like to watch a movie with me tonight?"
Gaara nodded "Sure."
She didn't do much today, after a light breakfast a good book and a small nap the afternoon had taken over, which only meant that in a few hours she and Gaara would be either here or his room to watch a movie.
She sat up from the nap she had taken and headed downstairs to grab a cinnamon roll Shikamaru and Sai had bought for her earlier today. Looking outside she saw that is was raining, and it was pouring pretty hard.
"Oh, so far for the nice weather." Hinata smiled as she saw the dogs come down the stairs and Kankuro putting on his shoes "Oh hey Hinata,"
"You're going out?"
"Yeah, Temari called me she needs me in the tower. I'll be back soon."
"Oh is Gaara-"
Kankuro looked at her "He went out to buy some cinnamon rolls, which is weird since he doesn't like cinnamon rolls." He smiled at Hinata and said "-he went to go buy them for you, you know. I just hope that the rain didn't catch up to him."
Hinata didn't know whether to smile or be worried? I guess she was both; she couldn't help but smile because Gaara was being so sweet and making time, even in this kind of weather to bring her cinnamon rolls.
Lately she didn't know what had gotten into her, she hadn't stutter and she didn't feel nervous around Gaara. She was coming out of her shell, that's for sure.
Being here in Suna felt as though she had a different life, sure Suna wasn't her home but it was in Konoha where everything had happened to her.
Where she fell in love. Where she lost her virginity (and with someone that was no longer there) and where she had her first broken heart and cried almost every night.
Suna felt and is different. A difference she couldn't and wouldn't see back in Konoha no matter what because everywhere she'd go it'd just be a place where she and Sasuke had gone. Or a store he had gotten her flowers, chocolates, cards or bears.
Restaurants where they'd eaten or the park where he'd surprise her for their anniversary and had walked through so many times.
Everything in Konoha just reminded her of him. If being here in Suna for only two out of the three days and feeling like a different person, a better and more-out-of-her-shell-kind-of-person, she loved Suna.
Hinata looked at Kankuro "Be careful."
"I will. Call if you need anything." After Kankuro left Hinata put some water for tea. Lately she hadn't been feeling like craving sour things, she was back to craving sweet things. Morning sickness didn't happen often which she was happy about.
She heard the door open and saw Gaara soaking wet, "Gaara?" he took off his running shoes and walked to the kitchen "I'm fine Hinata; the rain just caught me by surprise."
He set the bag on the marble counter "I thought you'd like some cinnamon rolls." Hinata couldn't help but smile "Thank you-" she then frowned "- but Gaara you need to go change, you'll catch a cold."
Gaara didn't want to worry her "Are we still on to watch any movie?"
"Yes, I'll make some tea."
He let the cool hot water cover every inch of his cold body, his felt his muscles relax. Closing his eyes his took a deep breathe only to cough. Once he'd changed into some dark blue seats and a white shirt.
Hinata turned on the 45" LG that was in the guest room and saw Gaara walk in "I have the tea and the cinnamon rolls you brought." Gaara sat on the bed when he saw Hinata looke down at him "Gaara, are you okay?"
"I'm fine" Hinata reached down to touch his forehead she gasped "Gaara you're burning up!" Gaara body felt weak but he didn't want to worry her.
"It's nothing." He looked up at her and saw she was concern "You have a fever, Gaara"
Hinata walked towards the bathroom "I'll get some towels and water" Hinata walked over to the bathroom in the guest room and saw Gaara on the bed, his face way a light pink. Hinata undid the covers and plates the cup with water and towels aside.
"Come here-" Gaara stood up and with Hinata help he hid under the covers "You need to rest." Gaara' turquoise eyes looked at Hinata as she dunked the towels in the water and twisted them, making the water come out before she placed them on his forehead to cool his body down.
Hinata moved some of the hair from Gaara' forehead as she put the towel for the third time she saw Gaara finally asleep, she was about to get up when a warm hand gently grabbed her wrist "Please don't go, Hinata."
Hinata heart stopped but then continued to beat once more "I won't."
…
Tsunade knew Hinata was in good hands since she was Gaara, so coming here to Otafuku town and meeting an old friend was no big deal, she'd be back in Suna by tonight (having the last day and night which is tomorrow to spend it with Hinata.)
"So what brings you back here?" she looked at him as he poured more sake for her.
A smile appeared on the man' face "Oh you know what they say; the most beautiful women are back at home."
Tsunade didn't think twice as she took the shot, setting the glass down she looked at his eyes "Cut the crap Jiraya, why are you really here?"
"I heard Orochimaru was back so I figured I welcome him with open arms." Tsunade looked at him.
"So you're back because of Orochimaru?" Tsunade asked him, Jiraya set the glass down after taking the shot of sake.
"I wouldn't say just because of him." he poured her another drink and himself as well "-like I said before there's no place like home for beautiful women."
When she had gotten a call from Jiraya, she was a bit surprised since she hadn't heard or seen from him in 5 years.
"Although I thought about you-" Tsunade looked at Jiraya, had he really said what she thought she heard? "-When I was taking some pictures-" she saw him take out an envelope and slip it across the table.
"What is it?" she opened the envelope and took out the picture; her eyes began to tear up "I-it can't be?'" her voice was a mere whisper "D-Dan is dead."
"Well, it looks like he's alive and working for Orochimaru." Tsunade hand' tightened and looked at him "It isn't him! He's supposed to be dead!"
"Key word; supposed to be-"
No, no it couldn't be. It wasn't possible. No, Dan couldn't be alive! They had found his body, or what was left of his body near the Oto border.
"Look Tsunade-" Jiraya knew this would be hard on her but she needed to know.
"No Jiraya, this can't be Dan!" she looked at the photo again and her heart sunk. But it was Dan; his long, pale-blue hair (he always liked to dye his blonde hair) that reached his back and dark green eyes. He had the standard Konoha ANBU outfit of that time complete with forehead protector and the pocket-less flak jacket.
"But it is." Jiraya really hated himself for this. He'd been in Tanzaku when…
…
"Oh man, I've hit the jackpot!" Jiraya had been walking around Tanzaku town when he was a bunch of sexy women "Man oh man I love this town."
He walked past the Tanzaku castle when he stopped, "Dan?" taking out his camera he took a picture of the castle with him in it, he'd gotten his face as he looked around the area. Dan walked into the castle and he'd followed him inside.
"Dan!" he yelled getting the long haired man' attention but there was no response; Dan kept walking as he turned the corner to see "It'sss been a while hasssn't it Jiraya?"
"Orochimaru-"
Wasn't Dan reported dead? Clearly he's alive, since he was standing here in front of him with non-other than Orochimaru and Kabuto; his four eyes right hand man. However today he had a black haired kid with him along with a Doberman.
Jiraya instinct was to take out a kunai "Oh come on now Jiraya after 5 yearsss you really think I would want to fight a clossse friend?"
"Better safe than sorry-" Jiraya kept his eyes on his cold ones.
"You didn't bring Tsunade with you?" an evil smile with him "Why Dan? Why are you working with Orochimaru?" he let his gaze move to the right where Dan was standing.
The man with green eyes looked at him "My name is Hiro," Jiraya saw Orochimaru smile as Dan spoke "Lord Orochimaru, do you want me to take care of him?"
"No Hiro-" Orochimaru smiled "It was nice seeing you Jiraya, I can't wait for our next reunion and if you see Tsunade tell her I have her old boyfriend and he says hello."
Jiraya furrowed his brows and with Kunai at hand he ran towards them only to see the black haired boy throw a smoke bomb.
"Damn it"
…
Temari took a deep breath as she put some files away, "Are you sure, you haven't eaten all day"
"Kankuro I'll eat later, go, I'm fine, I'm just going to finish this mission and assign it. Thanks for helping me today."
"Yeah no problem. Okay, I'll be ordering Chinese, want anything in particular?"
"Beef and broccoli" Kankuro nodded and after a 'I'll see you at home' he left.
She stood up and stretched her legs when she heard a knock at the door, she rolled her eyes and opened the door "What do you want Kankuro, I said I'll eat later-" she was a bit in surprise to see "Shikamaru?"
"Need a drink?" his lazy voice asked the three day Kazekage.
Temari looked at the Lazy ANBU she has slowly known for the past two years, when she would go to Konoha, for whatever reason or he would be here for a mission himself. He'd be the guy to show her around and vise-versa.
"Yeah-" she said, she grabbed her phone from the desk and walked past him as he closed the door behind her.
"Has it stopped raining?" Temari asked.
"Yes, what a drag-"
"What is it this time?" Temari couldn't help but smile at him. As they stepped outside Temari now knew what 'what a drag' meant but before she said anything she felt a coat around her shoulders "You'll catch a cold."
Her throat went dry but after getting saliva down she said "Yeah but if you get a cold, I'm not taking care of you."
"You don't have too-" they made their way to the small shop "-tomorrow Sai and I leave back to Konoha."
Temari didn't say anything to that, she couldn't believe they all left tomorrow, it'd already been three days but they went by so fast. The first day she really didn't do much except Shikamaru had texted her that he had ordered too much Chinese food, just thinking about it made her smile.
She and Shikamaru ended up watching a movie. However later that day it was when Hinata had asked her to be Kazekage. She had said yes because she had seen the sunshine. Yesterday she was pretty much in the office, other than assigning missions and doing paper work, it was pretty much boring, that is until Shikamaru stopped by with coffee.
"Well that sucks, whose going to bring me coffee late at night?"
…
Shikamaru looked at Sai "I'll be back later."
"Will you be seeing Temari again?"
Sai' days in Suna consisted of hiking and painting of landscapes and drawings of the nice parts of Suna.
He wasn't much of a drinker or partier, painting was his kind of party and he took advantage of it.
Shikamaru scratched the back of his neck "What a drag, I'll be back later."
It really wasn't a drag for him; he liked spending time with the spunky Temari. After it had been her idea that every time he would be in Suna she'd show him around and when she was here in Konoha he'd show her around.
Even though it should have been her to bring him food, he was feeling generous so he had bought the food the first day. The whole coffee thing, well he guessed she really needed it.
…
Temari and him had finally made it to the bar just a few blocks from the tower, taking a booth near the back by the large window that showed the beautiful lights of the streets of Suna. Once a waiter came she looked up and she heard Shikamaru say "We'll have a bottle of Saki-"
"Make it two-" Temari told the waiter. Shikamaru looked at her once the waiter left.
"Long day?" Shikamaru asked "Long week." Temari looked at Shikamaru "-will you be able to handle the sake?"
"I can handle it just fine." Shikamaru told her with a smirk.
Temari had ordered a chicken burger and fries. Shikamaru had ordered some wings for both of them and a cheese burger for himself.
They both were on their fifth shot "Easy now Temari-" he told her as he took his fourth one.
He had to admit Temari knew how to handle her shots "Don't worry about me-" her face was a bit flushed, and he had to admit she looked kind of pretty with her face when she was a light shade of pink.
The alcohol had pretty much made her light headed, after she took her sixth shot she looked at Shikamaru "I say we call it a night" he told her.
Temari stood up…a bit faster than she had intended but she felt a pair of hands hold on to her.
"You okay?"
"Stood up to fast, that's all."
"Come on" he told her after paying the bill they walked outside, it was still a bit chilly so just like before he had given her his jacket.
He walked next to her with one arm around her to guide her. However the cool air had hit her and well
"What a drag" he told himself he stooped Temari "What?" she looked at him and saw that he was bending over "Get on-"
"I'm fine-"
"Come on Temari stop being stubborn"
"I'm not being stubborn!" she told him with a pout. Man oh man did her lips looked good when she pouted like how she doing right now.
He was buzzed not drunk but even sober he had to admit that there was something about Temari that had gotten his attention over the past few years.
He finally felt Temari press her body against his. He stood up and he felt her arms wrap around his neck.
Temari hesitated before she leaned and felt his body against hers and let me say this, his back muscles, oh, they flexed and it made exhale the breath she didn't even know she was holding.
A chill ran down his back as he felt Temari' breath on his neck. Man oh man did that make parts of his body throb and her scent of sand and sun made his nose fell in heaven.
"How are you feeling?" she heard Shikamaru ask.
"I'm never taking your drink offers in the future again, Nara?" Shikamaru chuckled at her comment "So you were already thinking of the future offers"
"No" she told him, she saw him look back and just looking at his two lazy brown eyes made her heart to a flip.
Just as she was about to say something, a cool breeze hit both them, making her hide her face in the crook of his neck.
Feeling her lips touch his bare skin as cool air past between them was enough to not feel it since his body was getting warmer every minute. Man this girl did things no one has ever made him feel.
Temari' body felt warm and she didn't know why she said this "You'll make your future girlfriend happy, Nara"
"That's the plan; she just has to do the cleaning."
"Who's going to do the cooking?" she couldn't help but ask him.
"I maybe lazy-"
"Yeah, no kidding"
"-but I'm a man who knows his way around the kitchen when he's not on missions." Temari pretty much melted at the way he said it, his deep sexy but lazy voice had her up in the clouds; either that or the alcohol finally went to her head for real this time.
"I'd like to see that."
"Are you going to do the cleaning?" Temari face couldn't help but be a bit flushed as he asked that before she got the chance to answer Shikamaru stopped "Looks like your ride ends here."
He bent over and when felt the cool air on his back "Thanks-"
"It was a drag but-" he shrugged and put his hands "-someone had to do it." Temari looked up at him and couldn't help but frown "What?"
She didn't want to admit it but she would miss the lazy-pain-in-the-ass-Nara.
He's noticed that Temari had been a bit upset after he'd mention he would be leaving tomorrow. He wasn't going to lie; he liked Suna, spending time with Temari and her spunky attitude.
Temari shook her head "Nothing, I sh-should go inside-" clearly she was a bit drunk. He followed behind her, guiding her with one hand on her back and holding on to her arm.
Shikamaru followed her to the bathroom downstairs "Are you okay?" he asked "Yeah-" he closed the door behind her. He was still holding on to her.
Temari turned around to face Shikamaru and if it wasn't for him holding on to her, she would have probably had fallen "You need to sleep."
"You're blushing" a smirk appeared on her face as Shikamaru looked away followed by a "You're drunk, Temari"
"Do you like having me close to you?" she saw him swallow hard "-what's wrong? Cats got your tongue?"
Shikamaru didn't know what to say or how to react the minute Temari said he was blushing. Of course he blamed the alcohol.
But when she asked if he liked having her so close him, his throat went dry. Hell yeah, he liked having her by his side, he like spending time with her, even if she was a bit bossy.
She reminded him of a smaller version of his mother. When he felt her arms touch his waist, his body reacted his eyes meant hers "Temari, you don't know what you're doing or saying right now."
Temari looked at him and furrowed her brows "Get out!" she told him as pushed him.
Shikamaru didn't mean to upset her, but this moment felt that he would be taking advantage of a buzzed off Temari. She clearly was upset as she pushed him away. Last thing he wanted was an upset Temari.
"Temari-" she had her back towards her "-I'm sorry." Shikamaru walked around to see Temari with watery eyes, she wasn't crying…yet he guessed that the minute he would have left, she would have let the tears fall.
"I don't want to hear it." She told him. Shikamaru lifted her head and with his thumbs he whipped a few tears that had made their way down her cheek "-I didn't mean to upset you but I don't want to feel like I'm taking advantage of you in this condition."
Shikamaru felt her hands hold into his forearms and her eyes on his. Temari really hated herself right now "You must hate me right now?"
Shikamaru shook his head "I would never, even if you have the tendency to punch me." Temari may have just fallen a bit more for the lazy Nara.
He knew it was the alcohol talking and even if it wasn't…well even if it wasn't what? He liked her, I mean he really liked her; everything actually. The way she didn't take anything from anyone, the way her spunk made her…well Temari.
Temari was still holding on to his forearms and still looking into his brown eyes couldn't help but feel like her face was so close to him like she could…
Shikamaru saw her leaning in and then he felt her lips brush against his…
…
Hinata opened her eyes to see Gaara next to her, a small 'eep' come out of her mouth, and she sat up slowly; good not morning sickness.
She bent over and touched his forehead; he was still a bit warm, heading to the bathroom with a fresh towel in hand. She turned on the water soaked the towel; she opened the door and saw him standing near the bed "How are you feeling?" she walked over towards him.
"Better-" Hinata touched his forehead "-you're still a bit warm." She touched his forehead and cheeks.
As a man…and being early morning he…well some parts of him throbbed. Gaara looked down at her and with his fingers he moved some hair away from her porcelain face. God, she was beautiful.
Hinata' heart skipped a beat the minute he touched her face, his touch was warm and his turquoise eyes looked like a clear turquoise ocean. She bit her lip as she rested her hands on his shoulders "Hinata-"
He didn't say anything else and was studying her, seeing if she flinched or tried to pull away. She didn't.
Being this close to Gaara made her body feel right. After Sasuke left (which was now a little over a month) she never thought of guys she could be attracted to or made her feel something like Gaara makes her feel.
She didn't want to date because in the end she was afraid of getting hurt again. Gaara however is different but was she attractive to him? And was he attracted to her?
Did she see him more than just a friend? Whenever she was around Gaara, her stomach butterflies she thought she wouldn't have anymore would come out of their cocoon and flutter once more. He made her feel safe and like she was worth staying for.
Gaara couldn't resist anymore, there had been moments where he wanted to kiss her like back in Konoha where they were in the kitchen and she had cried. When their where walking around Konoha and well anywhere they were together.
Gaara after putting a few strains of hair behind her ear he leaned forward and brushed his lips with hers, his hand holding on to her side of her face. He was being gentle; he didn't want to be rough on her.
He kissed her softly and slowly. He wanted to taste her and she tasted like sweet sweet cinnamon rolls. He felt her hands mess around with his hair. As much as he wanted to touch her body, he chose not too because he didn't know how she would take it.
Her hands roamed from his now messy red hair down his back, touching the wings of the fallen angel on his back. He didn't mind but it made it a lot harder to resist touching her back.
As he was kissing her slowly and gently she took the opportunity to touch the softness on his hair, after that her hands made their way down his back and to his shoulder blades.
She pulled away and looked at him "G-Gaara I'm-"
Gaara shook his head since he was catching his breath "Don't apologize Hinata, I should be the one to apologize."
"Why?" she asked him as she looked up at him.
"I shouldn't have-" Hinata touched his cheek and smiled "It's okay."
…
"Oh my gosh! That's so hot! I can't believe he kissed you!" Hanabi was pretty much doing the happy dance. After Hanabi helped Hinata put her things away they headed downstairs "Where is Tsunade anyway?"
Hinata shrugged "I don't know. I just hope she's okay, she sent me a message saying she was sorry that she couldn't spend the last day in Suna with me but that something had come up."
After the kiss with Gaara, they talked and I mean really talked.
…
Gaara had never felt like this, he also had never found someone like Hinata that made him feel like this.
He liked Hinata, he really did. As a man he wanted Hinata to stay here with him. As Kazakage he wanted her to stay here with him.
However Konoha is where Hinata had her family and friends are.
Hinata sat next to him; he'd been quiet for a few minutes "Gaara?" she took a few deep breaths and she bit her lip. He didn't say anything after the kiss, he was going to apologize, and maybe he thought he shouldn't have done that but why? They're both adults and clearly both felt something towards each.
She didn't know what to think, after the kiss so many emotions were and still swimming in her head. Her eyes couldn't help but drown in tears, maybe kissing him back was a mistake but why it didn't fell like a mistake. He was looking down in the floor without saying anything for a few minutes.
The silent was slowly killing her. What was he thinking? Hinata stood up and only got far as three feet before she felt Gaara gently grab her arm and slowly made her stop.
He'd been so lost in his thoughts that he didn't even notice Hinata getting up. He stood up and grabbed her arm "Hinata I can't always be by your side when I have meetings as Kazekage-" she listened to what he had to say "- but I swear on my life, that I will never leave you."
Hinata turned to face him, tears falling from her eyes "-I'll be here for you and you baby."
Hinata bit her lip and cried, she felt him embrace her and she cried of happiness in his chest, she grabbed onto his white shirt. He hugged her, embraced her in the warmth of his body.
"I won't let anyone harm you." Hinata knew right here that she really had fallen for Gaara.
Hinata pulled away and smiled up at him "Thank you-" she couldn't help but frown "Something wrong?"
Hinata shook her head "Suna is beautiful but-"
"I don't want to make you choose Hinata-" he brought her back to the bed and both took a seat "- I want you to be where you are happy."
Only problem was that she was happy in both places. Konoha is where everyone is, her friends and family. Suna had Gaara and a fresh start.
Hinata and Gaara had decided to talk a walk around the village before Shikamaru and Sai had agreed to meet them at the front gates.
Kuro and Shukaku where in front running together. Hinata decided to bring the fresh new Hinata back to Konoha, and she decided to leave all the thoughts of Sasuke with the sand storm that came and left.
Right now she would be spending the rest of the beautiful afternoon with Gaara; the man who she slowly began to learn to strongly like. She needed time to say love to someone once more because love is a strong word.
She couldn't help but feel sad as she saw Shikamaru 2011 dark green Dodge Charger.
"How are you feeling?"
"I'm okay, Sai. How did you like Suna?"
Sai looked at the mountains that surrounded Suna "I didn't bring enough brown paint" he commented. Hinata smiled at his comment "Well on your next visit you know what to bring."
Temari frowned "I'm going to miss you-" Hinata hugged her "You can visit any time, my house will be open."
Sai flipped through some pages of his drawing book and he commented "-and so will Shikamaru' house"
Hinata smiled at that, Temari cleared her throat "Is Tsunade not back from where ever she felt Saturday morning?"
"No, she sent me a message saying she was meeting an old friend and that she feels bad about not spending the last day in Suna with me"
Temari looked at her younger brother "But you spend it with Gaara." Hinata blushed "I did."
Gaara looked down at Hinata "I'll see you soon." Hinata nodded and was about to leave but stopped and hugged him "I really had a nice time, thank you for everything."
Once in the car, Hinata sitting in the passenger side and Sai and Kuro in the back Shikamaru looked at Hinata "How are you feeling?"
"Much better, thank you"
…
Hanabi and Hinata where now in the kitchen preparing a snack, Hiashi was heard talking on the phone "I understand, bye"
"Everything okay?" Hinata asked "Yes, that was Neji-"
Neji, Hinata had forgotten about him after the way he found out about his pregnancy he didn't take it too well to the point of him yelling, she already had too many things to think about and when he had yelled she felt as though Neji had become a stranger.
After that she didn't want to see him, she guessed he had been staying on Tenten' since he didn't know about their plans to go to Suna over the weekend.
"Hinata he told me about how-" he looked at her "-he found out. He's been beating himself up for his actions towards you."
"I told him I didn't want to see him-" Hinata bit her lip. Hiashi understood her, knowing Hinata she would have thought that Neji would have been a bit more understanding.
However Knowing Neji, the thought of Hinata being left to carry the burden of being a single mother hurt him and anger had taken over, he didn't mean to yell.
"I've never seen Neji feel so bad of his actions to the point of bowing down to be and apologizing because he had made you cry."
Hinata looked at his father "He w-what?" did he really felt that bad that he bowed to her father? Hinata hadn't thought about Neji since going to Suna. I guess she could go see him. Better late than never.
"Is Neji?"
Hiashi put a hand on her shoulder "-he's at Tenten' house." Hinata bit her lip "He'll understand. He loves you, both of you."
Hinata grabbed her phone, after the Doberman' had greeted her with happy cries and thumb tails that wagged a hundred times a minute they had settled down and now were by her side.
Hinata walked down the streets of Konoha, the Doberman not far from her side. Hinata was now in front of Tenten' house and knocked within a few minutes Tenten opened the door and a smile appeared "Hinata!"
Hinata was greeted with a smile and a hug "-Can believe you went to Suna and didn't take me?" she pretended to frown but then smiled "-I'm teasing." Tenten looked behind her and closed the door behind her. Hinata stepped back and wondered what she was going to say "Congratulations!" she whispered yelled. Hinata smiled and happily took another hug from Tenten.
Right they weren't at the announcement dinner "Thank you-" she bit her lips "-Oh um right, he's upstairs" Tenten smiled "-I'll be feeding Kenta downstairs so take your time".
"Thank you" Tenten opened the door and let her in. Hinata knew where Tenten room was, since she visits Tenten a lot.
Hinata headed up the stairs and knocked "Ten, need help?" she took a deep and opened the door "Neji?"
…
Tenten and Neji were watching one of her favorite movie, Princess Mononoke of course my director Hayao Miyazaki.
"Have you texted Hinata?" Tenten couldn't help but ask "No."
"You'll have to talk to her eventually-"
Neji rested his chin on her shoulder "-I don't think she would want to talk to me and I don't blame her." Tenten turned her head and kissed the side of his lips "Babe we're talking about Hinata here, she's sweet and caring and she loves you, she's been there for you even before you loved her."
"I hope you're right-"
Before she agreed with him she heard the doorbell ring "I'll get it, maybe it's the pizza!" she grabbed the money and put it on her back pocket and headed downstairs.
Neji sat on the bed and paused the movie. He took out his phone 'Should I call her?' he put the thought away and set his phone on the bed. After a few minutes he heard a small knock, he guessed it was Tenten with the two boxes of pizza she had ordered because both couldn't agree on the same topics and the crazy cheesy bread sticks and cinnamon rolls.
This meant she had the pizza boxes in her arms while balancing the box of cinnamon rolls on top of them and the bag of crazy bread sticks in her mouth. He got up and headed to the door "Ten, need help?" but the door opened and he saw Hinata "Neji?"
"Hinata?"
"Neji-"
"Hinata I'm so sorry for yelling at you, I didn't mean to sound upset and to make you cry. You know I love you and I wouldn't do anything to hurt you but I did-" he clenched his fists "-I hurt you and I'm sorry for that. I'll understand if you hate me right now."
Hinata' eyes began to tear up "I could never hate you, Neji" Neji looked at Hinata and saw that her eyes were tearing up; he walked over towards her and hugged her "Thank you." Hinata hugged him back "I swear I'll be there for the both of you."
"I know you will." They pulled apart Neji smiled "You'll be a great mother, Hinata. Congratulations."
Hinata smiled at that "And you'll be a great uncle."
"I eed elp!" Neji looked back to see Tenten as he pictured her, with the crazy cheesy bread sticks bag in her mouth "I got it." Hinata told her as she grabbed the bag from her mouth and Neji took the boxes from her hands.
"Care to join us Hinata?"
"Huh, oh um no you two-"
"Come on, I don't want to look like the only fatty here and plus have you had lunch?"
Hinata shook her head "Hanabi was cooking-"
"I only saw that you shook your head, so it's settled you're staying. Plus I'm sure since you forgave Neji, he'll be leaving right?"
"Uh?"
"You did forgive him, didn't you?" she asked a bit worried. Hinata nodded and smiled looking at Neji.
"You don't want me here anymore?" he asked her.
"I do, don't get me wrong but, I loved having you here-" she smiled at him "-but-"
Neji waited "But what?" he saw her open her mouth as if though she was going to say something but nothing came "I got nothing." Neji shook his head.
"Having you here was amazing but I missed going to your place, which would be the only place I could get away from Dan and my mom's lovey dovey things. They left while you were showering."
"Where?" he asked her and Tenten shrugged "I don't know. Pizza is getting cold though."
As he was eating he was putting thing together 'His goal is to get the sword…The sword!" that was it.
He took out his phone and texted Genma, I'm at Tenten' I found what Dan wants.
A few minutes later past and he finally put the pieces together. Tenten father' had worked and helped their Second Hokage, Tobirama Senju make some of the swords. If Dan knew this, this would be the only reason he would get involved with a civilian.
…
Kiyoko was shaking, "I s-said I don't know!"
…
Neji grabbed his phone and keys and told Tenten and Hinata that something had come up and with that said he headed outside to see Genma in the black Tahoe.
He got in and looked at Genma "We need to find Kiyoko. She's in danger." Neji furrowed his brows "-has anyone sent a squad to the forest of death?" Genma took his phone and called…"Kotetsu, you and Izumo assemble a squad with Kakashi and his K-9 at the forest of death."
All along it'd been about the sword. After all Ken, Tenten' father worked with Tobirama Senju with his swords and even made some. He had his own collection.
"-This so called Dan-"
"His real name is Aoi Rokusho, a former Major General of Konoha. He's a traitor of Konoha. There was a Dan Akiyama from the Rain Country but he was K.I.A. I myself called their headquarters and his file came as K.I.A."
"So he must be an ANBU from the Rain and he must have hacked for his death certificate but how do you know his real name?"
"Ibiki finally broke the sound girl, Tayuya." Genma was
…
Ibiki could see that Tayuya was still fighting even after she had been here a little over a month now. Ibiki had Tayuya tied up in a chair. He himself was sitting in one resting his hands on the chairs back.
"How much long are you going to keep this up?" Ibiki asked. Inoichi had his back against the wall near Tayuya "Fuck off, you old bastard! I'm loyal to Lord Orochimaru."
Ibiki took out a Kunai "You remember this-" Tayuya eyes got a bit big but she barked back "I won't break so easily."
Ibiki shook his head "You'll break, it's just a matter of time-" he leaned in and with the kunai he stabbed her in the thigh and was quick to cover her mouth with a cloth.
"Ammmm" Ibiki cold eyes looked at her as she mumbled the pain in his hands "What is Orochimaru planning?"
He took the cloth off her mouth "Wouldn't you like to know you fucken asshole!" Ibiki cleaned the kunai on her good thigh and looked at her "I'll ask one more time. What is Orochimaru planning? Why does he need Sasuke?"
Tayuya smirked "I'm not going to break so easily, so fuck off!" he stabbed her injured thigh once more.
"Ahhhh" he didn't even bother on covering her mouth "You son of a bitch!"
Ibiki shrugged "I'm being nice and you know it. Give me something to work on and we can heal those wounds of yours."
"I won't break-" she didn't even manage to finish when Ibiki stabbed her injured thigh once more "You fucken son of a bitch!" Ibiki "Why don't you just fucken kill me!"
"Because a dead corps doesn't talk" Ibiki told her "A girl can only take so much, how much longer are you going to take?" he wouldn't say he felt bad for her. He didn't. He needed Intel because if something would be going down, they needed to be ready.
Tayuya felt like she would die any day, she'd lost so much blood in the month or so that she had been here and he kept his promise of not cleaning her fucken wounds, the wounds that he (Ibiki) had done him-self!
Ibiki held the kunai that he had used on her today "Fuck off!" Tayuya still had some fight in her. Ibiki stood up and moved the chair away "Bring in the heretics fork-" Ibiki told Inoichi.
"No, I can't take it anymore!" Tayuya cried. Ibiki signaled Inoichi to stop because she had finally had broken.
Tayuya couldn't take it. The kunai stabbing, the dry blood, the throbbing of the legs. She however couldn't take the heretics fork.
This torture device consisted of a metal piece with two opposed bi-pronged forks attached to a belt or strap. One end of the device was pushed under the chin, the other to the sternum and the strap was used to secure the victim's neck. If her head dropped, the prongs would pierce her throat and chest. (Found this information in list25.)
This made Tayuya have her neck far back so that either of the forks wouldn't have to stab her and the first week she had been here, they had used that on her for four fucken days! She couldn't and didn't sleep. Although thinking about it she should have, that way she wouldn't be here right now!
Ibiki looked at Tayuya "What do you know?"
…
They had arrived to the forest of death but with so many gates, they had to wait for Kakashi and his dogs. When he was at Tenten' he managed to take the perfume she uses and had sprayed some on a towel and put it in a bag.
Neji couldn't take it anymore but before Neji took out running he heard a few barks, it was Kakashi and his dogs along with "Major Morino?"
"How did you know he would be here Hyuuga?"
"I put the pieces together-" Ibiki had ordered Kakashi to send in the dogs, they would make the search on the forest faster. They had Pakkun, the small pug to stay with them. They entered the forest, kunai in hand.
They had entered through gate 11, they had their eyes and ears alert but ran in the direction of a gunshot and barks. Neji' stomach flipped hearing a scream "Kiyoko!"
I will end it here, I will see you next time and I hope you review anyway I'll see you next time.
