It was the second day in Suna and both Hinata and Gaara were walking through the now warm streets of Suna it was just past 5pm and it was a beautiful afternoon.

Hinata walked down the streets with a smile on her face. Leggings had become one of Hinata' things, she was two months; her belly was showing a bit so her favorite kind of shirts began to be long denim shirts, long shirt dresses and dresses.

It had been so nice having Hinata around. Gaara couldn't help but smile down at her "Hinata?"

They were currently walking hand in hand "Hm?" he stopped and looked up at him.

The past two months have been full of good memories with Hinata; the attack on village had made Gaara and his village stronger. A few things were still being rebuilt but for the most part…the village was back to normal.

And having Hinata here or even texting her he felt calmer and better overall. And like before he always told Hinata that no matter what he would always be here for her and her baby.

He knew all too well that Sasuke was out there and with what Sarutobi had told him…

Before the attack while he had gone to visit the Hokage to tell him that as allied nation he would help to bring Sasuke and Orochimaru down. (Chapter 5) he had also told him about how Orochimaru would try anything to get his hands on the baby.

"If Orochimaru ever finds out that Hinata is carrying Sasuke' baby…I know he will try anything to harm both of them."

"I swear I won't let that happen." Gaara told him, he saw Sarutobi blow smoke out his mouth "I am not asking for you to pressure Hinata to move to Suna but I do think that is the best thing for her."

Just thinking about Hinata living in Suna made Gaara feel good inside "I know, I wouldn't mind having her there all the time-" he saw Sarutobi put the pipe back in his mouth which held a small smile and nod "-but it is a choice she would have to make. I don't want to force her to live the village she grew up in."

"Your father has sent the papers for the K-9 center and in month or two it will be ready to open."

"That's great!" she was so happy to hear that, it had been a dream of both her mother and father to have a K-9 center in a place they both loved and she had to agree that Suna is a beautiful place.

Gaara had decided to open their first K-9 training center in hopes that that would make things more easier when it came time to look for missing shinobi' or dealing with drugs and unwanted things in his village.

"I've been looking into a few breeds but of course Doberman are a definite breed I would want to have."

"They are great dogs. Shelter dogs make good choices too and it gives them a second chance too."

Gaara shook his head "I know that. I have called the villages with shelters and offered to bring the dogs they have."

"All of them?" Gaara smiled "Most of them have had been adopted and the elder ones are being retired to good homes. It's the misunderstood one that I have asked for." Hinata smiled and couldn't help but melt a little "I h-have some n-news too."

Gaara looked down at her and he saw Hinata smile "I've been looking into some collage classes."

"I'm proud of you."

"Thank you." Gaara couldn't help but smile at that "Lady Tsunade has been helping me."

Gaara knew Hinata would be great at whatever career she picked "What will you be studying?" Hinata bit her bottom lip "I'm not sure yet but at the moment I'll be taking the basic classes I need and hopefully I can decided soon."

"Well whatever you choose, you'll be great at it." They were half way done with the walk when Hinata smelled "I smell lemon bars!"

"Would you like some?" she nodded "Okay-" he said as they walked in a small corner bakery "Good evening-" an elder lady; maybe in her fifties greeted them with a smile "-what would you like today?"

"Two lemon bars please."

"Good choice and I'll throw in some butter frosted cookies for free." She looked at the Hinata and winked "T-thank you." Hinata smiled at her.

After saying thank you and paying they made their way to the nearby park "Mmm they're g-good." She couldn't help but feel like she was heaven. Gaara was a bit surprised to see as Hinata brought the lemon bar towards his mouth "-try it."

He took a bit out of it, it wasn't bad, it wasn't too sweet, and the lemon bar had a lemon tart to it something he didn't mind. "It's good." Hinata smiled and took another bit out of it.

Once in the park they made their way to the swing set, Hinata sat in one and Gaara sat in the one next to her on opposite, that way he could look at her.

He couldn't help but just admire her beauty. No one had ever made him feel like this before, like mattered. Before being Kazekage he felt like no one would see him as a human being.

He felt as if thought everyone saw him a monster. And when he left…he'd gone through so much and just looking at Hinata made everything go away. All the pain, all the anger he once had.

Hinata couldn't help but notice Gaara looking at her and she smiled, of course she blushed but then she saw him get up and walked towards her.

"Hinata-" he kneed down holding on to the chains "-I care about you-" Hinata saw his jade/greenish eyes and swallowed the lump in her throat "-you know that."

"I do-" she knew Gaara did care for her because of everything he's done for her and promised to do in the future for both her and her baby. Hinata heart couldn't help but fall for him a bit more but…was she even ready for…to open her heart to someone else?

Gaara stood up because as much as he wanted to kiss her he didn't, he didn't want her to be confused of what she wanted. He then saw her stand up.

Like she had said before, Suna made her feel like a new person and maybe it was the small gust of wind or maybe she just wanted to inhale his scent but she wrapped her arms around his waist and dug her head on his chest.

Gaara was a bit caught off guard but he didn't mind it and wrapped his arms around her shoulders "You smell good." He smiled as he heard her say that after she inhaled.

Tenten was now hugging her knees in the sofa "You know you're not alone Tenten." Sarutobi told her "-if you need anything don't hesitate to ask."

Tenten' eyes were so puffy and red that she didn't think she would be able to accumulate tears…and then she saw Neji enter through the front door, she got up and ran towards him "S-she's gone Neji; my m-mom is gone!" Neji hugged her "I'm sorry Ten-"

He hugged her, let her bury her face on his chest and let her cry. He couldn't help but let a few tears run down his cheek.

"I will rearrange for her burial and like I said Tenten if you even need anything just let me know." With that said he excused himself and with Raidou soon after him they left.

Neji had decided to stay the night; they were now in Tenten' room, she had cried herself to sleep, still in Neji' arms. Neji' heart couldn't help but feel like she was feeling right now but he knew that this was 100 times worse on her.

He called his uncle to let him know that he would be staying here for a few days. He's asked for Hinata but when he heard she was in Suna he knew that was the best thing right now.

He knew Hinata and Kiyoko had been close and it was because of Kiyoko that Hinata is the women she is today. She had been there when he had been mean to her. it was because of both Hiashi and Kiyoko that he is who he is today.

"Do you ever plan on returning to Konoha?"

Jiraya shrugged "Nothing's there for me-" he poured another cup of sake for Tsunade "You're forgetting our old man is still there." Sarutobi; the man that had pretty much made them the people they are today.

"I'm sure he'll live without me-" Tsunade took the Sake in one shot "This is more than the old man isn't it Tsunade?" he knew Tsunade all too well "I want to confirm for myself that it is Dan-" she continued before he would stop her "-but I can't I'm currently on duty."

"So I've heard-" Tsunade leaded in "So you've been keeping tabs on me huh?" Jiraya raised his hand to the waiter indicating he wanted the check "I may not be in Konoha but I know what going on to know that I'm not needed there at the moment."

"Or so you think-" Jiraya raised an eye brow at her comment "There's a boy named-" she couldn't help but smile just thinking about the hyperactive blonde "I know, Naruto Uzumaki." Jiraya knew all too well of who Naruto was.

Tsunade smiled "Looks like you've been keeping tabs on your grandson too huh?" he shrugged again "He's a good kid. I've seen him before never really knew how to approach him after all these years."

Tsunade smiled because from what Hinata has told her Naruto is very open when it comes to letting people in his life. Which meant Naruto wouldn't have a problem letting Jiraya in, and if she was correct about Naruto; Jiraya would be paying for a lot of ramen at Ichiraku.

"You've only missed 22 years; you still have plenty left."

Jiraya sighed, he has been thinking about getting to know him, finding a place to settle in and well do some research in his hometown.

Once Jiraya paid the bill he and Tsunade made their way towards the truck.

"How's Shizune?" Tsunade smiled "She'll be home in hopefully six months once she's done with school."

He knew having Shizune away is as hard as it was the day Nawaki passed away 8 years ago. Nawaki was only twelve when he had stepped on an explosive trap; this was during a small war with the sound village and his unknown leader.

It was so devastating for her. He'd been there for her and then Dan came into her life.

Not too long after that Orochimaru decided to leave Konoha. Only to be known as the mysterious leader of the sound which only meant that it was Orochimaru' fault Nawaki had died. Tsunade had sworn to kill Orochimaru but right now, she had sworn to protect Hinata from his hands.

"When will you be heading back?" Jiraya asked "Monday, why?"

"Maybe I'll see you in Konoha." Jiraya closed the door to the truck and looked at Tsunade "You okay to drive?"

"We only had a bottle, trust me I'm fine." Tsunade sighed "Did you want to check my breath or something?" and before she rolled her eyes she felt a pair of lips against her.

Hiashi sat on the couch, hot coffee in hand; so much couldn't help but think to himself that so many things have happened in the last two months.

Hinata' pregnancy, Hanabi and Knohamaru dating, Tsunade being back in the village, the attack in Suna, Hinata new personality which he loved and he knew it was all thanks to Gaara and now the death of Kiyoko.

"Daddy?" he looked up to see Hanabi. She'd grown so much "-are you okay?" Hiashi nodded "I'm fine."

Hanabi sat next to him and hugged him "I love you."

"Okay young lady what is it?" Hiashi couldn't help but ask. Not that it mattered, he loved his girls and like he had promised Hanako he'd do anything to make sure his girls had everything they needed

"Nothing I promise-" she smiled "-you're just an awesome dad." Hiashi smiled and kissed the top of her head "Thanks baby."

"Long day?" Hanabi had heard of the attack, well I guess everyone knew that's way Konoha had been on high alert.

"Well, I sent Gaara the K-9 center papers and about a month or two it'll be open."

"I can't wait!" she smiled after that both talked about small things, what the sex of the baby would be and the names they liked.

Hanabi asked when they were going to visit Suna again and after a few laughs Hanabi stretched "-well I think I'm going to go to sleep. It's been a long day, good night daddy."

"Good night baby." She kissed his cheek before she got up and headed upstairs, Kimi and Kilo right behind her.

…

Kakashi sigh "No-" he couldn't help but look at the blonde "You owe me!"

"I already told you I wasn't going to pay for the first bowl of ramen why would you think I would pay for the second or third one?"

Before Kakashi could argue his phone rang "Yo?" he nodded "I'll be there in five."

"So you see you owe me one!" he wasn't even listening to what Naruto had said so he simple set a 20$ on the table "I have to go, try to stay out if trouble."

"Thanks Kakashi!"

Kakashi had received a call from General Morino "The girl has finally broke, I'm sending you the location of Orochimaru' current hideout, I've sent one to Yamato and Shikamaru. Meet in the front gate and leave immediately!"

…

Yamato kissed Yukari' forehead "I'll be home soon Yukari."

"You promise?" he nodded "I promise. Give Yuri a goodnight kiss for me okay?"

Once outside he saw Kakashi waiting for him "What happed to waiting in the front gate?"

"I was close by-" Kakashi said as Yamato got in the truck "How long has rogue 398 (Tayuya) been with Ibiki?"

"A month?" Kakashi drove towards the front gates to see Shikamaru once he got on he told about the plan.

"You've plan that since you got the call?" Yamato couldn't help but feel amazed "It was a drag but-" he just shrugged. They made their way to Otogakure or the Sound village.

"The hideout he's currently according to Tayuya is near the border or the Sound and Fang village." Shikamaru said.

"And Hidan?" Yamato asked "-from what Ibiki has told me she doesn't know him."

"That could only mean that if Hidan and Kakuzu joined Orochimaru it would have to be while Tayuya has been here."

"What about rogue 402? (Aoi) he had been after the Lighting sword-" Shikamaru mentioned "-but for who?"

"If we've learned a few things is that Orochimaru is usually behind the things that have happened in the last two months so it wouldn't surprise me if Aoi was working for Orochimaru." Yamato commented.

Because after all he knew how Orochimaru' mind worked "- rogues usually seek power and we all know Orochimaru like experimenting so put one and one together and you have a great opportunity for both."

It was past 1am, they had left the truck in the border of the Valley of the End, which was the border between Konaha and Sound.

Because they were going on foot, with their ANBU clothing's which consists of black clothing, a grey flak jacket, metal arm guards and gloves, boots that had spikes for travelling into mountainous regions.

Three pouches on their back-waist; they put on their cloaks just in case the weather if it changed dramatically.

"Ready?" Kakashi asked through the speaker under the mask and both Yamato and Shikamaru nodded.

…

Hinata was now sound asleep in Gaara' bed…before all you Gaara/Hinata lovers yell and squeal she was fully clothed she just fell asleep watching a movie.

He covered her with a blanket and made his way downstairs "Lady Tsunade?-" Gaara saw her cheeks a bit flushed "-are you feeling okay?"

Tsunade closed the door behind her "I'm fine. Where's Hinata?"

"She's asleep." Tsunade nodded and past by him "Goodnight, Gaara." Gaara couldn't help but wonder what had happened and where she had been all day since yesterday?

Tsuande closed the door of the room where she saw staying and touched her lips. "That jackass!" she couldn't help but smile as she said that.

…

"You're fine to drive-" Jiraya commented and he stepped back "-bye Tsunade." He smiled as he saw her clench the wheel. Jiraya took the opportunity to walk away and into the streets of the nearby village of Suna.

Tsuande mentally shook her head "Stop it Tsunade, you don't like Jiraya!" who was she kidding Jiraya was handsome; after all she'd known him since she was 15, now him being 35 and she being 34…well by now she thought she would be settled in, married and maybe a kid or two.

Don't get the wrong idea; she loves what she does but after losing so much she wanted someone to be with her for the rest of her life. Someone to wake up to and to see first thing in the morning and give her morning kisses. Augh "Stop it Tsunade!" she said to herself.

Sasuke walked through the hideout, Katana at hand and Keiji right beside him "Grr-" Keiji growled "Come out Hiro-"

"What does Lord Orochimaru see in you?" he couldn't help but look at the man with light pale blue hair just below his shoulders, and bangs that covered his head protector. Sasuke' gaze stopped at the man' green eyes "What's it to you, don't worry you can be his favorite I have no intention of become his pet."

The man looked at the young man cold dark eyes and brought his head up towards his fore protector and moved his bangs.

Sasuke saw the leaf village symbol on it; I guess Orochimaru has had his eyes on shinobi from Konoha since before he was born.

"Am I supposed to be impressed?" Sasuke asked. Hiro shrugged "Are you from the same village?"

"Was-" Sasuke walked past him Keiji between Hiro and himself "-you'll see your village soon enough but for now how about you and I train?" Hiro asked as Sasuke past him.

"Not interested-"

"If I beat you, you'll bow to lord Orochimaru-" Sasuke stopped and turned to him grabbed him by the shirt and pushed him against the concrete wall "Don't be foolish, I will never bow to that snake-" he saw Hiro smiled and say"-but if you beat me I'll tell you something very interesting."

"I could care less of what you have to say-" he let him go and stepped back "Even if it involves the one you love?" he saw the change it Sasuke' eyes "When and where?"

"A week from today in the border of the valley of the End."

Hiro closed the door to his room and rubbed the back of his neck "I'm sure by now Jiraya has told Tsunade."

He sighed, he wasn't sure how long he had but he had to make it count.

Hinata woke up inhaling the smell she began to strongly love for the past few days and the best part was no morning sickness. She opened her eyes to see "Oh Shukaku?"

"Woof!" she smiled and got up "Good morning to you too-" she then looked at the door to see Gaara walk in with a glass of water "Morning-"

"G-Gaara?" she didn't know why she just stuttered "-did you sleep well?"

"I did, thank you." she stood up to see that she was in his room "Did I fall asleep here?" she saw Gaara nod "I'm sorry-"

"It's fine, don't worry about it-" he saw her bit her lip "- I didn't sleep on the floor nor the bed, I slept in the guest bedroom and before she could say anything else he said "-you don't have to apologize. Here-" he said as he handed her the glass.

"-thank you." she took the glass and smiled putting the rim near her lip "Did you eat breakfast already?" she took a sip and saw Gaara shake his head "I was waiting for you."

Both had agreed on pancakes, each putting what they wanted in their pancakes "Where's Temari and Kankuro?"

Gaara was putting some strawberries on his "I think Temari is out training and Kankuro is with Baki in the tower."

Hinata was currently cutting some fresh peaches and pulling from grapes from the vines "We should take them some pancakes-"

"Do we have too?" Hinata giggled "Well I will-" Gaara flipped his pancake and headed to the fridge to get come juice and cream for coffee.

Yes, Gaara knew how to cook; usually he never did cook because of everything he has to do as Kazekage but with Baki taking over for the moment he was free to spend time with Hinata and since Hinata loved to cook; here he was cooking or was it baking pancakes? See it's been a while since he's been in the kitchen.

Hinata saw Gaara made few pancakes, asking her what she wanted on hers "Strawberries and chocolate chips please."

After breakfast Hinata had convinced Gaara to drop off by and see Kankuro. Of course Kankuro was happy to see as he would say a 'pretty girl with food'

"Thank you-" he looked at Gaara "-you found yourself a good one Gaara."

"Shut up Kankuro." Baki smiled as he too was grateful that Hinata had brought him food "How are things here Baki?"

Baki nodded "Good, missions are a success. A message from Konoha-" he looked down at Hinata "I'm sure things are fine." Gaara looked at Baki as he handed him the scroll. It was from Lord Kazekage.

We've located the hide out of Orochimaru; I've already sent three of my men. I am not asking for you to send men because your village has gone through enough, I am asking for some eyes in the is the location.

"Baki-"

"We've already sent hawks with cameras and tracking devices." Gaara nodded "Keep me updated."

"I will. Good pancakes Lady Hinata." Baki smiled "Thank you but you should be thanking Gaara-"

"Good pancakes Lady Gaara-" Kankuro mentioned "-Shut up Kankuro." Both walked outside "Kankuro really admires you."

"Sometimes I think he's adopted." Gaara looked down at her and then away "What is it?"

"Nothing." Hinata smiled because she knew exactly what it was "You can touch my belly if you'd like."

"When Temari found out, she asked and Kankuro-" she giggled "-well he hugged me and according to him his hands fell on it."

"I swear he's adopted." Hinata stopped in front of him and held his wrist "Don't tell me you're afraid?" Gaara couldn't help but look at the woman who was mocking him.

With her guide she brought his hands towards her belly "Wow-" Hinata could feel butterflies in her stomach.

In all his two years as Kazekage he's been through so much. Delaing with feudal lords, assigning mission, protecting the village and his people and as much as it pained him give bad news to the families of the deceased but never in his life had he ever felt so beautiful…and he wasn't only saying that because it was Hinata.

"Hinata-" he couldn't help but look into her beautiful eyes and leaned down to rest his forehead on top of hers "-I never thought I would care for someone so much and then you came into my life-"

Hinata eyes couldn't help but water even if they were close because of close he was to her lips. "-I swear I would never hurt you." her heart skipped a beat as she felt his hot breath run down her neck, his breath smelled minty fresh and she couldn't help but think of his lips as he spoke to her.

"-I know that Gaara-" she knew he meant everything he said. She felt like Suna could be a fresh start.

Gaara couldn't help himself anymore "Hina-" he leaned in but stopped, only to feel Hinata push up to meet his lips.

Ino looked at Chouji "You feel the same way?" Chouji sighed "I still want up to be friends Ino-" he couldn't help but give her a sad smile "-you know you'll always have a special place in my heart-" Ino smiled "-and so will you-"

It had been a year into their relationship that both began to like feel like their relationship had begun to just feel like friendship. Chouji had approached her telling her that he didn't feel like he did before. He saw Ino cry but she said he was right.

"I don't want us to be awkward or uncomfortable." Ino added. Chouji smiled and couldn't help but smile and hug her "-it won't, I promise."

Ino hugged him back "The girl who ends up with you will be so lucky because I was lucky to have you."

"You're talking as if I'm dead Ino." Ino smiled "My bad but you get what I'm saying." Chouji looked at the women who had accepted him as who he was. Ino is an amazing girl, whoever ended up with her would be lucky.

It's been three days now, Tenten eyes still leaked some tears once in a while but Neji was by her side "I brought you some fruit."

"Thanks."

"I know it's been hard but you're not alone. You're can stay with us-." She shook her but before she said anything Neji said "-no buts and ifs or not, point is you know my uncle would say the same thing."

He took out his phone "Neji-" she saw him take out his phone "-what are you-"

"Hey uncle Hiashi is it okay if Tenten stays with us" Tenten got on the sofa and tried to take the phone "Neji-"

"Yes, she's being stubborn. You want me to put her on the phone? okay-" he then smiled and gave her the phone, and as she had a hot potato she grabbed the phone and put it next to her ear "Hello?"

Neji saw Tenten give her an 'I hate you' look, little by little he'd have her smiling, flirty and back talking Tenten back. He saw her eyes tear up again "Thank you Mr. Hyuuga." He knew his uncle had convinced her.

"Thanks Neji-" she gave him his phone back along with a hug and kiss "-I love you."

"I love you too Ten." That night Neji stayed again. Of course it was still hard on her, her mother passed away and she never got a chance to say goodbye. Just thinking about it made her eyes tear up again.

But being in Neji arms right now did make her know she wasn't alone. They watched a few movies, talked and fell asleep.

Hinata looked at Tsunade "So how was the meeting with your friend?"

Tsunade sat on the bed, Tonton next to her "Fine I guess."

"Did something happen?" Hinata couldn't help but ask as she brushed her hair. She saw Tsunade shake her head "No, we were just catching up that's all."

Hinata smiled "Since tomorrow is Sunday Gaara thought about all of us stay in and order some Chinese food and play some games."

"That sounds good-" Tsunade smiled seeing as Tonton got on her lap "-did you want to go to the market and get some things for tomorrow?"

Hinata nodded "Yeah we can get some chips and candies." As much as it pained her, Tsunade moved Tonton on the bed and got up.

They made their way downstairs only to bump into "Hey Temari-"

"Ya'll going out?" Hinata nodded "Yes to grab a few things for tomorrow, um did Gaara tell you about tomorrow?"

"Yeah. I was a bit surprised since he's not much of a gamer but I'm glad you're getting him out of his 'Kazekage stage' into a more calmer and kind of man…and can I go?"

Hinata giggled "Of course."

Once in the store Temari managed to get a few things she knew Gaara and Kankuro liked "What kind of games do you guys have?" Tsunade asked Temari.

"Lady Tsunade did you really just ask what kind of games Lord Kazekage has?"

"Okay; that was a stupid question, well then off to the game aisle."

After about an hour of shopping for the basic; you know…chips, candy, chocolate, cookies, ice cream all that good stuff and a few bottles of juice and of course for Tsunade a bottle of sake.

The girls came in laughing "There you are Temari-"

Temari raised an eyebrow "What?" Kankuro made a motion with his head indicating her to look to the right where the study was "Shikamaru?" oh man she felt her stomach drop "-what are you doing here?"

"Do you really want me to tell you in front of them." he told her in his lazy voice "I'm kind of curious now?" Kankuro asked making Temari suddenly regretted it.

She wasn't going to let Shikamaru mess with her, she put on her brave face and a bang on each hand she out her hands on her hips "What?"

"I figured since last time-" He wouldn't dare say it "-we-" he was talking extra lazy for her. Quickly she gave Kankuro the bags and walked over to Shikamaru grabbed him by the hand and dragged him towards the kitchen and out the back yard.

Kankuro only watched as she dragged him away "What? I wanted to know." Tsunade couldn't help but look at Kankuro "Seriously?"

Temari closed the door behind her "Are you crazy? Don't answer that! What are you thinking? Don't answer that! What the hell are you doing here?"

"Should I answer that?" he knew Temari was panicking on the inside, was he really going to tell everyone that he liked and kissed Temari…no but if he got a chance to make her blush and panic then…still no, he was going to say 'I figured since last time we were here I didn't do much I came back for another vacation'

(He figured since after the mission with Kakashi and Yamato was somewhat complete and he has close by Suna, he figured he'd stay for a well-deserved four day vacation with Sarutobi' permission of course.)

But she was though he was going to day 'I figured since last time we kissed-' or in the lines of that.

"Yes!" Temari furrowed her brows "First of all that was such a drag…literally."

"Ha ha now answer dammit!" she didn't know why she was screaming of feeling happy all at the same time but she was.

"I plead the fifth." Temari walked in front of him like a caged lioness "No, you cannot do this. I hate you Shikamaru." She felt him grab on to her shoulders and embrace her.

She felt her tense body relax "Relax Temari, I am on a four day vacation plus-" pulled her away and looked down at her, into those beautiful yet fierce teal eyes "-I wanted to see you."

Temari sighed "For what?" she then felt his lips on her and her body quickly responded to his kiss; and after he pulled away he said "So I could do that."

Gaara had been with Shikamaru in his study as the girls went out, he guessed to the store since Temari had asked him if he wanted some of 'Funyuns' he said sure.

Gaara put his phone down "You do realize that if she is ever hurt-" he looked at Shikamaru "-both Kankuro and I will go after you."

Shikamaru raised an eyebrow "I just figured she would be the one kicking my ass-" Kankuro smirked "She will but we'll be the ones doing it afterwards. We'll I'm going to go get a soda, want one Gaara?" he shook his head "Nara?"

"I'm good thanks."

"Look Nara-" Gaara was just happy to see Temari act like a girl for once in her life; since she always had this tomboy attitude because of growing up with two brothers "-it's because of you that Temari is who is now and I'm thanking you for that just make sure you're not the reason she cries."

Shikamaru didn't know how they ended up having this conversation. He had just knocked and Gaara had told him to come in, they made their way to the study and Gaara began telling him how the times he's been here Temari had been brighter and of course that led to tell him that he…

Well Gaara figured it out and well he pretty much told him that yes; he did have feelings for and well they are here now.

"She won't, I promise." And that's when they heard the door open "Go-" Shikamaru stood up and smiled

"Hinata' made you softer."

"Shut up Nara."

And that's was when Kankuro motioned for her to look towards Gaara' study and that's when she saw him.

And well you know what happened next!

Temari looked at Shikamaru "You what?" Shikamaru smiled "I figured since you like me and I have to tolerate you I figured it was time I asked you out." Temari smiled "so would you like to be my girlfriend?"

Temari hugged him once more "If that means bossing you around then yes." She then couldn't help it anymore she stood on her tippy toes and kissed him.

"Oh man I forgot we have to go back inside-" Temari bit her lip "Come on-" it was now his turn to grab her hand and take her inside.

Hinata heard he door open and they both walked in to see all of them in the kitchen cooking "I asked her out she said yes."

Was the first thing Shikamaru said making Temari a bit shocked and red "You idiot!"

Hinata put the spoon down and smiled "Oh Temari I'm so happy for you!" she walked over towards her and hugged her.

She looked at Shikamaru "You're a brave man Shikamaru." She said as he smiled down at her and accepted her hug "Thank you Hinata."

Temari punched him "I hate you."

They were now were enjoying the time together, they were making chicken parmesan with a few steamed veggies and fresh baked dinner rolls and of course Hinata had offered to make some of her homemade mango, papaya and orange juice.

They were now all sitting around the table talking and laughing among each other. Gaara couldn't help but smile just seeing as everyone was having good time.

Dinner was great; it didn't surprise Gaara when Hinata said she and Tsunade had baked some mini fruit tarts.

"Wow Hinata those looks delicious-" Kankuro said as she and Tsunade put the tray with mini fruit tarts down in each end of the table. They were cookie side but everyone was topped with different fruit.

Some had fresh peach, raspberries, and blueberries. Others had sliced mangos, grapes and strawberries.

Others had kiwi, blackberries and strawberries. So pretty much all of them had different kind of fruit and they all looked delicious.

Tsunade looked over at Gaara "Hope you saved room-"

Temari couldn't help feel warm inside, all the people she loved were here. Shikamaru looked over at Temari who was spacing out; he leaned in and whispered in her ear "Everything okay?" the warmth of his breathing in her neck brought her back to reality and gave her chills.

"Huh?-" she shook her head "-yeah-" she smiled at him and looked over towards Hinata "These look good-" she grabbed one with mango and strawberries on it.

Everyone had either one or two tarts on their plate and after having a bit everyone couldn't help but give their compliments to both Hinata and Tsunade.

The afternoon had gone by fast, Shikamaru was about to leave when Gaara told him he could stay here, after all they had an extra room, since Hinata and Lady Tsunade where staying in a room with two beds.

Shikamaru said he appreciated the request but "You're family now-" Kankuro chimed in "-you're more than welcome." Shikamaru nodded "Thank."

Five days more until he would meet up with Hiro. If that was his real name but now that he thought about it…a while back when they were near the Tanzaku castle; he remembered Orochimaru had asked Hiro to look for a man with long white hair.

It seemed as though Hiro was gone for about ten minutes when he returned he was being followed by a man with white hair. So he guessed there was a white haired man.

"Dan!" was the named the white haired man known as Jiraya yelled. He turned to see Orochimaru who was currently smiling, "It'sss been a while hasssn't it Jiraya?"

"Orochimaru-" Sasuke looked at the man, who took out a kunai. It could have been his imagination but he saw Hiro or should he even call him that. if Jiraya had called him Dan, then he guessed Hiro had a back story.

He'd find out, after all he was fighting him in five days and he was going to make things more interesting.

As a shinobi everyone knew who the Legendary Sanin were, of course Orochimaru had to be the rotten apple. How was Dan connected to them?

Sasuke didn't even bother on taking out a kunai when Jiraya took one out, honestly Jiraya could kill the snake for all he cared.

After a few words towards each other Orochimaru asked if he had brought Tsuande with him.

"Why Dan? Why are you working with Orochimaru?" and that's when Hiro or Dan said "My name is Hiro" Sasuke just wanted to get the hell out of here.

And of course like the kiss ass Hiro was he asked if he wanted to take care of him in which case he said no but the thing he couldn't get him mind off was the fact that Orochimaru said…

'If you see Tsunade tell her I have her old boyfriend and he says hello' and at the moment was when Jiraya kunai in hand ran towards them that's when he through a smoke bomb.

Hiro had a past with one of the Sanin and if so why was he working with Orochimaru? How in the hell did he end up working with the snake? Something felt odd and he was going to find out.

"Arf-" he heard Keiji bark. Sasuke laid back "Let's go to sleep Keiji." Keiji jumped on and laid down.

Dan walked down the hideout towards Orochimaru' room, he didn't even bother on knocking since Kabuto was waiting for him outside, once inside he bowed "You called for me Lord Orochimaru?"

"How are you getting along with Sasuke?"

"I have yet to make a conversation with him." Hiro couldn't help but wonder what Orochimaru was up too. "Kabuto-" Hiro turned to see Kabuto enter "-Hiro, you and Kabuto will be heading towards the Hidden Hot Water Village to pick up a few items I have acquired for mission in a few months."

"We leave tomorrow morning." Hiro nodded bowed "Of course."

"You're dismissed."

Tenten was currently unpacking her clothes into the bedroom she was staying in the Hyuuga household.

She was putting some shirts in the closet when she heard to "Need help?" walked out of the closet to see Neji leaning on the door railing "I'm fine."

He walked over towards and smiled "You hungry?" Tenten nodded "I could eat."

It had been Chinese takeout and a bottle of red wine, Hanabi had joined them (of course she had some apple juice which meant more wine for them) and they were now playing a few games so over all their night was a good night.

Hanabi was telling him how Kyuubi; Naruto' red fox had chased him and tripped him, making him sprained his ankle.

"It was his fault he was taunting Kyuubi with meat." Hanabi crossed her arms "-so now I'm stuck babysitting him."

Tenten smiled as she cuddled up with Neji "You're his nurse, so make sure you take care of him."

Hanabi raised an eyebrow "I have been. I don't like him right now."

Neji couldn't help but smile "Hey you wanted a boyfriend."

"Yeah, a boyfriend not a crybaby."

"But he's your crybaby." Tenten commented "Haha Ten-" she couldn't help but smile "-he's something special alright."

Suna in May was nice; the weather was nice and overall spending time here, she'd been here three days ago and it had been three days ago since she found out today's Kankuro' birthday.

So of course she wanted to throw him a little party, she knew he wasn't a big surprise party kind of guy so since they had decided to order some food Chinese food and play a few games and of course since he liked the mini fruit tarts she had a surprise for him.

Hinata was currently sitting on the couch with a cup of juice talking to Temari "Shikamaru is a wonderful guy-" Temari smiled "Yeah, I know he's lazy thought-"

Hinata giggled "Only when he wants to be." They talked among each other while the guys were out picking up the food as well as a few other things. Hinata heard her phone chimed, she set her cup on the coffee table and viewed the message "Gaara says they should be here in about ten minutes and if we want anything?"

"No, I think we got everything and more yesterday." After she replied and send it Hinata got up "Want to get the games ready?"

"Sure, where's Lady Tsunade?" Temari asked as she got up and followed Hinata to the kitchen "She went out to walk Tonton."

Twenty minutes later they heard the door open and Hinata smiled seeing Kankuro "Happy birthday again Kankuro-"

Kankuro smiled and accepted one of many Hinata' hug "Thanks." Since the morning she had said happy birthday and hugged him, don't get it wrong, he loved the attention especially from a beautiful girl such as Hinata.

"Thanks again Hinata." they all headed towards the kitchen to see Tsunade close the back door "Perfect timing Tsunade." Gaara commented "Hinata texted me but thanks."

Hinata couldn't help but feel her mouth water as they set the bag of food down "Smells good." Gaara and Kankuro began taking the food out of the bags while Temari got plates and cups, Shikamaru put some sodas on the table.

Tsunade threw away the bags and Hinata brought out the fruit tart she had made for today, which she hoped Kankuro would like as a birthday cake as well.

Gaara saw Hinata come out with, what looked to be a cake? Or pie?

"I hope you like it Kankuro-" Kankuro looked over and smiled "Wow Hinata that looks amazing and delicious!"

The tart itself looked handmade but what really got everyone' attention was how she had arranged the fruit on top of it. Mango was around the crust followed by some fresh raspberries, kiwis, strawberries some sliced oranges then in the center some blueberries.

"Hinata' you didn't have to-"

"We baked it, so you better like it." Tsunade commented, raising a perfect brow "-I love it even more." he finished.

They were now playing the game of life and after playing two games, they decided to watch a horror movie. The afternoon had gone by fast; needless to say everyone enjoined the tart.

It was now 9:13pm everything was going fine until the smell of popcorn hit her, "E-excuse me-" Hinata got up and ran over towards the bathroom.

Hinata had finished washing her mouth; she sat on the long counter top, she put her hands on her stomach and took short breaths, she heard a knock "C-come in."

"Hinata are you okay?" he couldn't help but feel dumb after he asked that. He saw her smile "I'm fine Gaara."

Gaara walked towards her and leaned in, putting his hands on the sink counter top "You sure?"

Her hands still in her stomach she looked at him and nodded "Yes, just sickness, that's all."

"Do you want me to bring you some tea?"

"I'm fine-" she couldn't help but cover her mouth as she yawned "-oh sorry."

"You should rest." before she protested Gaara said "-it's been a long day." still smiling at him and she couldn't help herself as she hugged him.

Gaara was a bit caught off guard as Hinata hugged him; he felt her arms around his neck as she pulled him down, he wrapped his arms around her petite waist, feeling the small swollen belly.

Hinata closed her eyes and inhaled the scent she loved; his scent and she didn't know what it was but this hug right here felt much needed.

It was a full minute to a two minute hug. She loved these little kinds of moments with Gaara. The small kisses they've shared. The hugs that have made her feel safe and loved.

After they parted Gaara looked at her "Rest. Okay?"

"I will-" she then pouted "-I was hoping to finish the movie."

Gaara looked at her "Don't make me carry you upstairs-" he couldn't help but smile as she saw her blush.

Hinata looked at him "You wouldn't-" and he didn't let her finish as she felt Gaara slid one of his arms under her knees and one on her back and pick her up "Eep-" was the small squeal that come out "-G-Gaara!-" her instincts were to wrap her arms around his neck "-Gaara! Gaara! Gaara!-"

"I won't drop you-" with his foot he managed to open the door and he opened the door he saw four heads facing towards the door and four pairs of eyes looked at them "She's tired, she's going to sleep."

And with that said he headed upstairs. Hinata couldn't help but blush as they heard "Woohoo yeah Hinata!"

Hinata didn't know what it was about Gaara that made her feel warm inside. So being this close and having this much physical contact would have made her faint before but now it felt normal to her.

They were now in front of her room so he gently set her down "Go and rest now." Hinata frowned again "What?" Gaara questioned that frown "I can't go in the room-"

Gaara tilted his head "Why?"

She knew it was just a movie but she just didn't want to be alone "I'm not use to sleeping alone."

Gaara looked at her "I can call Tsunade-"

"No, I don't want to interrupt her from finishing the movie." Hinata then decided to just ask "C-could you maybe p-possibly stay with me?"

"Of course." Gaara opened the door and turned on the lights. Hinata made her way towards the bathroom to brush her hair.

"I'll be right back." he told her and he headed towards his bathroom to brush his teeth, after five minutes he came back to find Hinata braiding her hair.

Gaara pulled the cover and laid "Comfy?" Hinata couldn't help but giggle "Come here." Hinata felt as though her heart would jump out if her chest but she headed towards the bed and rested her head on the pillow. Gaara was lying on his back but looking at her.

"I won't let anyone hurt you." she knew he was referring to the monsters or zombies from the movie. She wasn't really watching, since she was covering her face half of the time and she had a feeling he was also saying he wouldn't hurt her, which she knew already.

Hinata moved closer towards him and turned so that his shoulder was her pillow, she tucked her arms in resting them on his chest "I'm safe now." she heard him chuckle and he wrapped his arm on her back. She felt her warm breath on his neck and her forehead near his lips.

He kissed her forehead and said "I'll protect you." they stayed like that, making small talk. About thirty minutes later as both were finally drifting off Gaara whispered "Hinata-"

She felt warm, safe and most of all she felt re-energized. She opened her eyes to see Gaara, and an inside 'eep' escaped then followed by a smile. He was sound asleep and she couldn't help but stare at his handsome sleepy face.

"Good morning Hinata-" he said still with his eyes closed. Hinata blushed and dug her face on his chest "Y-you were awake?"

"I didn't want to wake you up." she looked at him and got up "What time is it?"

"11." Hinata really got up "That late?" Gaara stood up "You could stay another day?" right; she and Tsunade were leaving today…but another day sounded good.

"Another day sounds good, I'll let my dad know so wont expect us tonight." Hinata put her slippers on and with Gaara behind her they both headed downstairs.

They made their way to the living room to find Shikamaru, Kankuro and Temari asleep, of course Temari and Shikamaru were sleeping in the sofa, while Kankuro was asleep on the floor near Shukaku.

"Looks like they watched a few more movies after we went to sleep."

"Good morning Shukaku-" Hinata told him, and within seconds his tail began to wag, hitting Kankuro repeatedly in the face "Shukaku stop it-" Kankuro managed to grab his tail, Gaara made the hand signal to roll over.

Shukaku is a 120 pound Bull Mastiff, so of course that made Kankuro grunt and sat up "I'm up, I'm up. What time is it?"

"11." Kankuro didn't know who he hit but whoever it was he said "Get up-"

"Aw what a drag." So he hit Shikamaru "What-" In union Gaara, Hinata and Kankuro said "Its 11!" Temari got up and stretched "Who else is hungry?"

Now that was something they could all agree on, and as they were all making their way to the kitchen when they heard the doorbell ring.

"I'll get it." Gaara headed to the front door to see "Lord Hiashi?"

"Hello Gaara."

"Come in-" he moved aside to let both Hiashi and Hanabi in, the Doberman right behind them as well.

"Hello Hanabi."

"Hello Lord Kazakage." Hanabi walked in and with a smile she saw Hinata "Hina!" Hinata turned around to see "Hanabi? Dad?" a smile appeared on Hinata's face "Did you miss us?" Hanabi asked as she hugged her "I did."

"I got your message but I figure we surprise you." Hiashi hugged Hinata "Have you gad a good time?"

Hinata nodded "Yes." After separating she was greeted by all of the Dobermans "Hey guys."

"We were about to have breakfast-" Temari chimed it.

"Temari and Shikamaru are finally dating!" Kankuro said with a smirk.

"That's awesome!" Hanabi smiled "You idiot!" Temari said as he smacked him on the back of the head.

"Well now that we're up to date-"

Hanabi raised her hand "We brought guests!" soon she had all their attention "Who?"

"Knock knock!" Tsunade knew that voice all too well.

"Lord Jiraya?" Gaara looked at man with the long white hair "-Hello Gaara, everybody." He then looked over his shoulder and said "Come on in, don't be shy now." Gaara looked at the door to see…Sasuke? No it wasn't Sasuke? He looked older…

"Itachi?" Hinata' looked at him; she hadn't seen him in about three months or so. He hadn't been here when Sasuke left. He doesn't even know she's with child.

"Hello Hinata." she felt happy to see him, and ran up towards him and hugged him "Itachi-" she swore she wasn't going to cry but seeing him reminded her of Sasuke because after all they were so similar in their handsome features.

Itachi; come on don't tell me you haven't wondered where he's been or what he's been up too?

Itachi felt good seeing her again.

After leaving Akastuki, he visited Pain in regards of his 'disloyalty' to the gang. Nagato knew Itachi meant well but…

"You took being an Akatsuki a game-" Itachi knew better that to interrupt him "-but unlike Kakuzu and Hidan you are shall I say loyal enough to leave in good terms."

Itachi couldn't help but wonder if Konan had something to do with this "Nagato?"

"Don't the wrong idea-" Nagato said as he looked at Itachi "-you're still an Akatsuki-" Itachi still locked eyes with him was about to say when Pain said "-so whenever you need backup or anything, we'll be here."

Did this really just happen?

Gaara couldn't help but feel as though…honestly he didn't know how to feel right now "I've missed you so much." Itachi couldn't help but feel a small bump…it couldn't be…

"I've missed you too." he told her after letting go. He looked down at her, god Hinata' is beautiful. He missed seeing those light lavender eyes of hers and her dark hair that looked like a mix of black and blue.

With his thumb he wiped the tears away "Why are you crying, princess?"

She hugged him again "I just missed you, I'm really glad to see you." Of course he accepted the hug again.

"Will you be joining us for breakfast?"

"At this rate it'll be lunch-" Temari couldn't help but complain. What? She's hungry!

Itachi' dark black orbs locked with Gaara' jade eyes "Lord Kazekage-"

"I will not oppose to anything as long as Hinata is happy. You are more than welcome to join us." Itachi nodded "Thank you." with his arms around her he smiled down at her "I'm not going anywhere."

It had been decided that since most of them…okay all of them were not decent to go out they had stayed in. Within minutes they had made some pancakes and waffles, a few scrambled eggs with some vegetables.

Hinata however was currently out walking through the village since she was craving sweet bean cake and she was catching up with a certain Uchiha. Gaara couldn't help but feel uncertain of him-self.

Itachi didn't want to upset her by bringing Sasuke up, so they talked about how everything was going.

"I've been good-" Itachi commented "-and seeing Yuji again was great."

"He missed you." she said as she saw that he hadn't left his side since he'd seen him. Before Itachi could say anything Hinata stopped and looked at him.

"Itachi-" with a deep breath she said "-I'm pregnant." Itachi looked down at her, she had a smile on her face.

Pregnant? That meant…

"Sasuke isn't coming back and I've accepted it-" He didn't say anything "-I want to move on and I'd like to think that I have."

"Do you hate Sasuke?"

She shook her head "I don't-" really she didn't, at one point she missed him but thanks to her friends and family she has managed to move on. "-he's just not part of my life anymore." Itachi couldn't help but feel like he had won the lottery! Sure…with Sasuke gone, it hurt him knowing that he would never meet his baby or spend time with her…he knew she wasn't alone but still…he hoped that his mission would take so long…

Itachi hugged her "I'm going to be an uncle?" Hinata smiled and hugged him back "Yes." Hinata questioned the crying sound coming from the person she was hugging right now so she looked up to see Itachi…crying!

It was her turn to wipe tears from someone' face "I won't tell anyone-" she giggle.

"Thank you." he never cried, ever! He always had controlled his emotions well. Guess it was something Hinata had to make someone feel what he was feeling. After arriving to the small bakery just a few blocks away from Gaara' house they looked around.

"Everything looks so good!" Hinata sounded excited "Pick whatever you'd like." Itachi told her. She leaded over to the glass and saw the sweet bean cake she had been craving "The sweet bean cake please-"

"Of course, anything else?" the sweet elder man asked "Um-" she couldn't help but look back at Itachi because after all she didn't want to take advantage of him or his money because after all he knew he wouldn't let her par "-anything you want Hinata." she smiled and picked variety of cookies she thought Gaara and everyone else would enjoy.

"Here you go." the man said and he handed Itachi the medium size box with the cookies in it.

"Your total will be 37.50." he handed him two twenties and after getting his change back both thanked him again and began making their way towards the house.

Temari felt a sharp pain in her stomach…oh god please…not today any other day but today!

"Excuse me-" she said as he closed the door to the fridge. She was now in her room, crying on the inside and yelling at her-self "Augh! Of all days! Seriously?" she laid in bed, her stomach hurting and her back aching.

Kankuro headed upstairs and opened Temari' room "Yo Temari you down to play some games?"

Temari lifted her head "Get out-" Kankuro kind of questioned her attitude concerning she was happy about eating pancakes a few minutes ago.

"Are you on your damn period or something?"

She grabbed a pillow and threw it towards the door "Shut up and get out!" he closed the door only to hear the pillow hit the door "Yep-"

"Is she okay?" he heard Shikamaru ask "No, she's on her monthly gift and if I were you I'd leave her alone." He walked past Kankuro "Don't say I didn't warn you."

Shikamaru knock softly and opened the door "Hey Temari-" he opened the door and looked around "-do you need anything?"

"Leave me alone!" before Shikamaru said anything he was pulled away from behind "Told you-" Kankuro said as he closed the door. At this point Temari had gotten up and walked over towards the door because even though she told him to leave her alone, she wanted Shikamaru here with her.

She was going to play it off like 'Fine, you can come in' but stopped as she heard Kankuro say "-to leave her alone, it's no use when she's like this it best for her to be alone. Trust me." Shikamaru say "Fine. I'm going out."

Temari couldn't help but feel guilty now…she kicked him out. Then of course she felt angry at him "Bastard." And with that she headed back to bed…in pain.

Gaara heard the door open and saw a happy Hinata walk in "I could have helped you-"

"You're fine, it's not heavy." Itachi commented.

"We're back." Hinata smiled at Kankuro "Have you both eaten?" he asked them both.

"Yeah, we stopped by The Sands of Time Restaurant. Where's everybody else?" Itachi made his way towards the kitchen "Gaara and your father and Hanabi headed over to check the K-9 center. Temari isn't feeling well she's…well…it's that time of the month."

Hinata then got the hint "Oh, I'll make her some tea. Is Shikamaru up there with her?"

Kankuro shook his head "No, he said he was going out."

"Oh okay." She then made her way to the kitchen to put some water to boil.

Temari was currently sending Shikamaru a message 'I hate you' no response. Which of course only made her wonder if he was upset, which caused her to be upset, feeling tears flow her eyes and then felt angry which caused her to curse at her phone with the picture of him sleeping she had taken a while back "You jack ass, lazy slob no good for nothing Nara!"

Then the door opened, she turned around to see "Get out Shikamaru! Go for another walk!" she sat up and grabbed another pillow and threw it at him only for him to catch it with one hand "And leave you alone while you're like this?"

"Yes!" if it hadn't been for his mom he honesty would have not understand the women language.

Shikamaru bent down and pick the first pillow she had thrown (his guess at Kankuro) and walked over towards her with two back in the other hand "I brought you some things and a few movies." Temari buried herself under the cover because first of all she didn't want him to see her that had she had been crying.

"Come on Temari you really think I'd leave you alone when I know you need me the most right now? I went out to buy you a few things I know you'd like. I wasn't sure if you use tampons or pads so I bought both, I bought you some chocolates, chips, cookies, sour things, salty things and a few movies we could watch together." He

He set the bag on the bed and saw Temari head come out of the covers "-" Shikamaru who was currently standing next to the bed frame "But if you'd like to be alone, I could leave."

"No-" she moved the covers away and looked at him, her eyes watery "-please stay." He smiled and nodded "Okay." He leaned in and whipped the tears "Don't cry, come on what movie do you want to watch?"

She couldn't help but embrace him, making him fall forward "I'm so lucky to have you. Thank you Shika!" he managed to put both arms on the bed so she would completely fall on her, he looked down at her and kissed the side of her head "No problem."

Hinata knocked at Temari' door only to be opened by a shirtless Shikamaru "I brought Temari some tea-" Yes normally a half-naked man would probably make her turn red but this was Shikamaru.

Yes he was handsome and yes he was lean and fit AKA a nice body but after seeing Gaara shirtless a few times, nothing really surprise her, she was used to seeing male upper bodies. "-I hope it helps-"

"Thank you, she's asleep right now."

Hinata smiled "The good thing about this tea is it doesn't have to be hot for it to help."

Shikamaru smiled and grabbed it; either way he was going too "I'll make sure she drinks it." Hinata nodded and made her way down the stairs.

Shikamaru set the cup of tea on the nightstand and went back to bed, Temari stirred, her back was hurting so he had volunteered to give her a back massage but according to her he needed to take off his shirt.

He didn't want to get her upset so of course he took it off and not that he minded of course. He sat on the bed and once again began making circles with the tips of his fingers. Temari turned around and faced him and smiled, wrapping her arms around his chest "Thank you for everything."

Hanabi who was currently checking out the kennels of the K-9 center nodded "Nice!" she commented.

Overall she had to say that the K-9 center was amazing and large enough to hold about 100 dogs.

"As you can see there is enough room for the dogs to run and exercise out in the back." Gaara said, Hanabi had taken the opportunity to grab a ball or two and throw it for the Doberman "Each kennel will be provided with a dog house, bed, a water bowl and toys. The exercise equipment will be in next week."

Hiashi smiled at the young Kazekage "It looks great Gaara."

"We already have a few volunteers from a few different villages as well." Hiashi was happy to hear that, he knew his beloved wife would have loved this place.

After signing a few papers, they were now making their way back home.

Tsunade was now pretty much angry marching "Wow hey Tsunade-" Jiraya quickly ran after her "-did I say something wrong?"

"No-" she couldn't help the fact that her heart pretty much melted when he said that…

"Then what did I do?" Jiraya really wasn't playing, he really had no idea what he had done or said to upset her.

They had been walking and talking, grab a few drinks…where in the hell had he gone wrong?

Tsunade knew it wasn't him but at the same time, it was the little things that he did that made her fall for him.

Something she didn't want to do because she always felt that if she got to close to someone they would eventually leave this world or betray her.

So when he said that he cared for her, it was the way he said it; the way he held her hand and the way he pulled her towards him and the way he hugged her. His embrace said that no matter what, he would always be here for her.

"Tsunade!" he managed to grab on to her forearm and made her stop; he stood in front of her now "I'm scared too you know-" Tsunade didn't look at him as he said that "-I've known you for so long that…" he let her arm go "…I know you don't want to let anyone in because you think if you do…they'll eventually leave you."

"You don't know what you're saying!" she said trying to sound mad only for it to come out as a sad whisper.

"You know I'm right-" she heard him chuckle "-I know you better than even myself sometimes." Tsunade still looking down couldn't help but melt even more as she heard Jiraya speak the truth.

She should be beating Jiraya up right now! How dare he almost make her cry and ruin her makeup!

"Look, Tsunade, I may not be perfect-" Wrong, he's perfect.

Even though some saw him as a pervert, okay well she saw him as a pervert…I think Lord Kazekage, even though back in his younger years he'd follow Jiraya and let's not forget about Kakashi…anyway she was getting sidetracked.

He's caring, always putting everyone ahead of him. No to mention his body, sorry again getting sidetracked. He's a wonderful and any women would be lucky to be with him.

"-but, I won't leave you." he's left before; he's been gone for 5 years maybe even more.

"You've left before. What's going to stop you from leaving again?"

"You are-" She looked up at him and saw a tender smile on his face, "-because after all you're the reason I came back." he whipped the tears away "Look at you Tsunade-" he chuckled again "I thought by now you would have beaten me up for making you cry."

"I hate you-" she said as she whipped a few tears away herself with the back of her hand "-Jiraya."

"I didn't mean to make you upset-" he really didn't.

He grabbed her by the shoulders and bend down, because after all Tsunade was about 5'2 or so and he was 6'2 ft. he loved the fact that the top of her head was to his shoulder, perfect spooning size.

"-so how about I treat you to something?" Tsunade looked at him and couldn't help but wonder "Treat me to what exactly?"

"Name you prize!" he said as he looked down to those beautiful plum lips and back at her beautiful brown eyes.

"My prize huh?" maybe it was a bad idea giving the prize range to Tsunade.

She wasn't to her full self yet but Tenten was at least smiling and eating better. Neji had called Hanabi since Hinata hadn't answered her phone; he of course got worried only for Hanabi to tell him that she's been out and about with Gaara and them that she hasn't carried her phone with her all day.

"Is she having that much fun?" Neji couldn't help but smile at his question "Yes, oh Neji I hope Tenten is feeling better to come and visit one of these days."

"I think she'd like that. Hanabi-" he stopped "No, Neji we haven't told her about Tenten' mom." Neji nodded "-but she'll have to know eventually, I figure I'd tell her while we're here."

Maybe she was right "I know it'll be hard but she has the right to know." Again Hanabi was right.

"When are you guys coming back?"

"I don't know maybe in a day or two, why? You miss me already?"

Neji smiled "Maybe a little." He'd been with Tenten for the past three four days but he did miss Hinata, he knew she was in good hands over in Suna "Bye Hanabi"

"Bye Neji, make sure Konohamaru is behaving." After she hung up she made her way out to the back yard where they were currently cooking.

Hinata and Temari were sitting down near the pool; the guys were doing their own thing which was talking among each other and drinking some of the juice Hinata and she had made earlier and of course the dogs were either playing or asleep on the grass.

Overall Hanabi smiled "Was that Neji?" she heard her father ask "Yes, Tenten' doing better."

"That's good to hear."

"Do you ever see yourself living somewhere else?"

"It's something I've thought about, especially with the baby-" Temari nodded and took a sip of the juice Hinata and Hanabi had made "-but it's something I really haven't decided."

"How could you!" blue eyes were filled with anger but at the same time disappointment and sadness filled them.

"Naruto-" green eyes filled with tears, Sakura tried to hold his forearm but Naruto pulled away "I trusted you!"

"I'm so sorry Naruto! Please-" again she saw him pull away, his eyes held tears but they didn't fall.

"You cheated on me Sakura!" his day had gone from great to this… to finding out Sakura; his so called love of many years had cheated on him.

He had gotten a text from her saying they needed to talk, of course he didn't see a simple text as something wrong, she always said 'Naruto can we talk?' either when she had something on her mind, like a stressful day at medical school or just needed to let some steam out.

Naruto had replied sure and while she arrived her fed Kyuubi; he's now…honesty he wasn't sure how old he was. He was bigger that's for sure anyway; he ate as well and send a text to Hinata asking how Suna was.

She replied beautiful and asked how things with Sakura were, of course at that time it was fine so that's what he had responded. After about half an hour or so he heard a knock "Come in-" he yelled. Nothing.

Usually she always just walking in, not even bothering to knock. If anything, most of the guys (Like Kiba, Lee) okay now that he thought about it everyone else knocked, point is he never locked the door; Kyuubi usually wagged his tail to let him know it was someone they knew or growled to let him know it wasn't someone they didn't know.

He was wagging his tail, unless it was someone else like Sai, who usually stopped by unannounced he went to open the door but it was Sakura.

"You know door wasn't locked-" He then saw her not even looking at him "-something wrong?" he asked.

"Naruto I'm so sorry-" Naruto' world froze for a second "What's wrong?" he asked again, he let her walk in and he could see her crying already "I never meant-" Sakura hug him "-I'm sorry Naruto." He hugged her "Sakura, I'm lost. What happened?"

With tears in her eyes and her face resting on his chest she said "I was drunk and-"

Naruto slowly pulled her away, one because he couldn't hear her and two because he felt the thing she said would be bad news.

"-and what Sakura?" he asked. "I didn't mean to-" he then put the pieces together "You cheated on me?"

"I didn't mean too."

"Didn't mean too?!" he loosen her grip on him "You chested on me!?" he stepped back, he could feel his eyes water but of course they were filled more with disappointment and anger "Naruto I'm sorry!"

"You think sorry is going to cut it? You know how long I waited for you! How much I care about you!"

"I know, I know-" she couldn't help but cry "- I swear it was a mistake!"

"No-" Naruto clenched his hands "-the mistake was falling in love with you."

"No, please don't say that!" Sakura took a few steps only to hear Kyuubi growl, which kind of made her even more upset, Kyuubi was someone she was losing too.

"If it isn't obvious Sakura-" as much as cared for her, he didn't think he could give her another chance. He says another because, he had forgiving her about the kiss incident with an old boyfriend about a month ago.

"-I don't want to see you here anymore. I'm done with this."

Sakura broke down crying, falling onto the floor and begging him "No, p-please Naruto." Naruto really needed Hinata right now, he grabbed his keys and kyuubi' leash "Make sure to lock the door on your way out." He said as he walked past her and out the door.

"Naruto, I'm so so sorry!" she said only to hear the door close behind her. Once he closed the door, he couldn't help feel his eyes tear up.

Sasuke couldn't wait anymore days! He was going to make Dan or Hiro (or whatever the fuck his name was) talk! He made his way over to the other side of the hideout to find the bastard.

Keiji right beside him, once in front of his door, he kicked it open "Manners Sasuke." He heard Hiro say with his back towards him, he was reading or writing, honestly he didn't care what he was doing "Let's talk."

"Not interested, thank you though."

Oh he knew how to fucken annoy him and he really wanted to just kill him right here but if he knew anything about Hinata. He was going to find out "I didn't ask."

Both knew better that to be mentioning anything about what they had talked about.

If anything Orochimaru had this place wired and if it involved Hinata or anyone he cared about he didn't want him to find out.

But now that he thinks about it, Orochimaru knew of Hinata' pregnancy before him. How? How does Orochimaru know everything that's going on in the village?

Hiro is from Konoha, plus the headband is a dead giveaway, so is he a spy from the village? I mean Jiraya knew him. His gut told him he wasn't thought. Then why was he here? Is there a rat in Konoha and in Suna?

"Maybe you should-" he knew he was getting under his skin because he saw the red eyes.

Ino who was currently at the flower shop looked up as the door open to see a crying Sakura "Sakura? What's wrong?"

"I lost him, Ino. I lost Naruto." She cried. Ino put her magazine down and made her way over towards her "What?"

Sakura still crying said "I didn't mean-" Ino brought her a chair "Either cry or talk but don't do both at the same time because I can't understand you."

Yeah she may sound like a bitch but seriously she couldn't understand what the hell she was saying. She headed to the back and brought her a bottled ice tea "Are you able to talk now?"

Sakura still couldn't believe she'd lost him.

"What did you do, Sakura?" Sakura looked at Ino "I-" tears fell once again "-cheated on him but I didn't mean too, I swear."

Ino shook her head "Seriously Sakura!"

"I was drinking and I-"

"Where was I?" if she would have been there, mostly likely this would have never happened.

"This was last week, when you were and your mother where having a mother daughter day at the spa."

As much as Ino loved Sakura; after all she was her best friend, she wasn't the kind of girl to be saying lies and try to comfort her "That's an excuse to screw another guy!?"

"I-"

"And why did you even begin to drink in the first place, was no one with you?"

"Stop yelling at me, Ino!" she started crying again "What do you want from me? To cheer for you! You know what you signed up for when you and I became friends. No sugar coating things, no lies and most important telling you when you fucked up and Sakura Haruno you fucked up big time!"

She was right, both are the kind of people who really do say what's in their mind; in this case it was a bad thing. Right now she felt like shit and after crying she looks like shit!

"I know I know, I tried-" she took a breath only to hear Ino say "To what? Apologize? Sakura you cheated on him! You know how long he's loved you for? After every jealous accusation you've had about him, he was faithful! He was there for you even after every insult. Every beat down you gave him he was still there!"

Without realizing it Ino' eyes began to water down "Ah hell, now I'm crying. He is a good man, Sakura!"

"Don't you think I know that? He turned off his phone; he's not in the village. I just want him to forgive me."

"You're not going to fight for his love again?" Ino asked whipping the tears away "He's a good guy and he deserves better, you just said it yourself."

Again she was right, her relationship with Naruto had its ups and down. She couldn't help but feel like most of the arguments with him were because of her. Naruto always had been so patient and so caring.

Before Ino could say anything they door open "Sorry we're closed-" she began but finished saying "Mr. Umino?"

"Hello ladies." It was no secret that he and Hana Inuzuka were dating. He'd come here plenty of time to buy flowers for her and her mother; Tsume.

"Hey Sakura-" he couldn't help but ask "-have you seen Naruto? I stopped by the apartment but he's not there."

Sakura couldn't even look at him "No-" Ino stepped inform of her and smiled at Iruka "So are you going to buy Hana flowers again?" Iruka smiled and rubbed the back of his neck "Yes, I was looking for a few white and red roses."

"I'm sure she'll love them, how many of each?"

"A dozen red and a six white." While Ino got the roses and wrapped them she said "Total's 34.25." he took out his card and paid "Well let me know if you see Naruto."

"We will-" Ino waved and closed the door behind him and flip the open sign to sorry we're closed and looked back at Sakura who was currently sitting on the chair she was in with her head on the desk "Iruka will hate me too!"

Ino walked towards her "Come on Sakura I think it's time for things that are bad for us?" Sakura lifted her head "What?"

"Just stay here, I'll go and buy us some cookies and everything in between from ice cream to chocolate." Sakura smiled and whipped the black tears, thanks to her mascara "What would I do without you?"

"I honestly don't know honey." Ino said as she grabbed her wallet from around her and smiled "I'll be back shortly."

Hana who was outside was caught off guard by a hug from behind "Ah-

"Hey beautiful-"

"Iruka?" Hana said a bit surprised since none of the wolves growled or even wagged their tail "-thanks for the warning guys."

It wasn't a surprise they have been dating for about a year now, at first Kiba was not pleased with it. At that time he was in his last year of school so it felt awkward that one of his teachers was dating his sister.

So Kiba couldn't help but feel weird. At one point they (She and Kiba) had stopped talking so she had made the decision to stop seeing Iruka.

Kiba had come back home only to see Hana crying in her mother's arms "Hana?" he called her only for her to run upstairs.

"What's up with Hana?"

"Iruka?" Tsume growled "-she broke up with him."

Kiba confused asked "Why?"

"Because of you-" she couldn't help but growl again. It only became her business when one of her kids cried or was upset. As a mother it's her job to protect them, even at their age.

Kiba of course barked back "It's not like I told her too."

"Are you sure?" she asked "Listen boy-" Kiba couldn't help feel a bit of shame "-she did it for you, so you wouldn't feel awkward at school."

Kiba didn't say anything "So how do you feel now boy?" Tsume asked him. She knew she was being tough on him but only because she wanted him to understand that Iruka and Hana were meant to be together.

"I got to go-"

He ran upstairs and knocked on her door "Hana! Hana! Please open the door. I'm sorry!" he didn't hear anything so he took a deep breath because one, he would be facing three mad wolves behind the door and two; he didn't want to see his sister crying because of him. He slowly opened the door "Hana?"

"Go away Kiba-" she said and she buried her head behind one of the brothers.

"I'm sorry." Kiba stepped in and closed the door, "- I didn't want you to break up with him-"

She sat up "-then what did you want?"

"I was being stupid, selfish and inconsiderate towards your feelings." Kiba said "-I was thinking about myself and not how you feel towards him."

Hana still crying looked up at him "I didn't mean to cause you trouble at school Kiba, I really didn't."

"I know you didn't. Please take Iruka back. Look I honestly don't care that they say at school. I want you to be happy." Hana pulled the cover away and smiled "He really likes you, you know."

"I'm sorry Hana." She walked over towards him and hugged him "I forgive you small fry." Kiba hugged her back and couldn't help but feel relieved "He's outside, just so you know."

Hana heart skipped a beat "W-what?"

"I called him and-" he didn't want to hold her up "Go."

Hana didn't even bother on fixing her makeup or hair and made her way downstairs and out the front door.

Once she saw him standing there with a rose she ran towards him and lunged at him "I'm so sorry Iruka!"

"There's nothing to forgive Hana, I love you, I always will."

Apparently Kiba had gone to Iruka' first and had apologized and explained how it was his fault.

"I have to go-" Kiba said as he ran past her.

He ran past Ichiraku ramen, nothing. So his second guess was his place. He'd been there once with Naruto when both had to turn in a late paper.

He knocked on the door and waited until the door opened "Kiba?" he could hear the sadness in his voice.

"Iruka-" he really did feel like shit right now "- I didn't-"

"I don't blame you Kiba-"

"You should though, if it wasn't for me-" Iruka knew Han had broken up with him because she didn't want to cause trouble for either of them.

"Iruka, Hana still loves you and I know you do too. I'm sorry that she broke up with you but she really didn't if you didn't agree. Please come with me. Please, she needs you right now."

Of course it was because of Kiba once more that they ended up together, stronger than ever.

Hana turned around and threw her arms wrapped his neck, "I really needed to see you-" Iruka wrapped his arms around her waist "What's wrong?"

"Long day that's all." He didn't like seeing Hana all stressed or sad because of a long day "Want to talk about it?"

That's why she loved him. "I'm fine now; it was just a bad morning."

"I could order a pizza; open a bottle of wine and a movie?" Hana lifted her head and looked up at him

"That sounds amazing actually." She kissed him "What would I do without you?"

Iruka took her hand and made their way towards the back door "Come on guys-" she called the three brothers and of course they headed inside "-Where's Kiba?" Iruka asked "I think he's out with Shino."

Iruka took out his phone as Hana got a glass of water, he order the pizza and said he'd pick it up because he still needed to pick up a few things from the store.

Hana couldn't help but hug him from the back "I love you."

Iruka smiled feeling her body against his "I love you too."

Naruto didn't want to be seen by anyone so as close as Iruka' house was he drove there. Naruto couldn't feel any lonelier. He really needed someone right now.

Iruka answered "Don't tell me you're in trouble again, Naruto." He didn't even answer with a hello anymore.

"What's wrong?" Iruka couldn't help but listen to Naruto ask if he stay over tonight.

"Yeah, you know where the extra key is. I'll be there later."

"Something wrong?" Hana asked as Iruka hung up and shrugged "He didn't sound too good."

"Want to go see him?" she knew Iruka and Naruto' were close, so she knew Iruka would be worried.

Iruka kissed her on her forehead "It's probably another Sakura fight."

"But what if it's not?" Hana told him "-I'll go with you."

"Okay." Iruka grabbed her hand and made their way to his car.

Once there, both Iruka and Hana saw a sad Naruto just sitting outside with a fox nudging him around the face. Iruka got out and walked towards him, Hana right behind him "Naruto-" Iruka sat next to him "What wrong?"

Looking down he asked "Was I not good enough to Sakura that she had to cheat on me?" Iruka' "I'm sorry Naruto."

"Was I not good enough?" he asked once more. Hana sat kneeled in front of him and put her hands on his shoulders "Naruto, look at me-" Hana couldn't help but feel sad for him as she saw his blue eyes "-I saw how you treated her and let me say you were better than enough towards her."

Hearing Hana say that made his blue eyes sting but before they dropped he dropped his head down, letting them hit the stairs. Hana hugged him "You're an amazing guy Naruto and she lost that."

Iruka couldn't have picked a better woman. Hana pulled back and stood up making Naruto stood up "I know it's hard but you'll find someone who will be worth all that you can offer."

Naruto with still a sad face looked at her, he never knew what it was like to have either a sister or a mother but he figured it was something like this "Thank you Hana-" he looked at Iruka "Thank you for letting me stay here tonight."

"Stay as long as you like, Naruto" Hana smiled "Hey babe how about we stay here. I'll call the pizza place and tell them the new address so we can stay here."

Hana looked at Naruto "That is if you want us here, Naruto?" Naruto knew being alone would just make him question himself, so he though the distraction would be great but "You don't have too." he knew that they needed time alone as well and he didn't want to oppose to that.

"We want too, so I'll call and give then the new address and you boys can just pick up a few things from the store."

Orochimaru had left to Suna, and from what that bastard had said "It ssseemsss asss thought your little Hinata isss with a certain Kazekage. I'll bring picturesss." Sasuke wanted to kill him right there and then but for the months that he's been here he has had to lock his feelings so we would be prepared for anything.

After leaving he headed to the room and lay down, closed his eyes and mentally exploded inside. After the fight he and 'Hiro' fought he had learned that…

Well I will leave this here for right now. I took forever because I wrote 42 pages! 42! Anyway I hope you enjoy, if anything I will try to write and write some more, I still don't know how many more chapters there will be…

Maybe 20 but of course each chapter will be like a lot of pages to cover so much!

Because after all I have to cover a baby shower, a few couples, a few engagements, Hiro' past, Orochimaru' future and of course Itachi and Akatsuki!

Because after all Kakuzu and Hidan are still not caught!
