Instead of leaving town like they originally planned, Jace got arrested in a faulty drug deal. She stays in town to wait for him to be released. Five years later, he is finally a free man, and he is going back home to Clary. Now after so many year, even though they saw each other once a week, they have to relearn how to be around one another.
