Time

3.47 am. These shifts overnight really dragged if something wasn't going on. Tonight was one of the nights that the villains decided to be quiet and stay at home.

Diane shifted in her seat and watched as Leon ran back from the coffee house that they frequented on these shifts. Opening the door, he handed her the cup.

"Nice and warm. Might help keep you awake, too." Leon laughed as he climbed in.

Taking a sip, she sighed; coffee was the best drug sometimes. Five minutes later, she was a tad more awake.

Sometimes she wished for more time and she knew that she shouldn't wish it away. Yet she would give anything for it to hurry up in this instant; only four more hours before she could end her shift and crawl into bed.
