Laughter
It started as a small giggle from Mel, followed by a snicker from Smithy, and then a chuckle from Jo Masters. Suddenly Leon laughed, followed by Kirsty and Ben. Diane, trying to keep a straight face, felt the need to laugh overwhelm her. It was catching, within minutes the relief were laughing, some holding their sides as pain started to ache in their bodies. Leon and Kirsty were holding onto each other whilst Mel had made her way onto the ground.
After minutes when they had all subdued a tad, feeling better then they had in a while, none of them could think of what had caused them to laugh. They only knew that the laughter had helped them heal after the events of the day.
