Meant To Be
Diane sighed as Nikki slid into bed beside her.
"What would have happened if you hadn't transferred over to Sun Hill?"
"What do you mean Di?"
"Well if you hadn't been at Sun Hill, this may never have happened"
"What if you never left your husband and joined the police?" Nikki asked
"I wouldn't be able to do this" Diane replied smiling and leaning into kiss her partner
After a moment, Nikki broke away.
"Well I would say that this was meant to be" she whispered before leaning back into kiss Diane.
