I have lost something important,

Neji sighed as he wiped the trail of blood at the corner of his mouth.

Sasuke was holding back when he hit him, that he knew.

But it didn't change the fact that Neji screwed up and the little display of compassion hurt his pride.

"Sorry," was all he said before bowing a little in front of his friend. He had known Sasuke since they were kids and there was no one Neji acknowledged the most than the young heir of Uchicha Corporation. They were best of friends and he had seen the young man in his worst and best. He knew Sasuke more than anyone else and that was why he knew how disappointed he was when he didn't find Naruto there.

Neji knew his longing for the blonde and how he messed up his life when he finally knew the truth.

When Sasuke heard about it, he was plainly devastated and even more when he found out that Naruto was missing in the village.

He knew that he was the one who drove Naruto away and that, probably, hurt Sasuke the most.

A small smack woke Neji up from his thoughts. He looked at Sasuke who was now standing close to him.

"It's okay," he said, eyes were distant. "Someday, for sure, I'll find him."

Sasuke looked like he wanted to say something more. "Sorry for the punch," he said, not looking at Neji. The white haired man was about to say it was nothing when he heard Sasuke added, "But you deserved it so I guess we're even".

It made Neji's knuckles itched.

Well, a bastard would always be a bastard, eh?

"Shut up, Sasuke."

..

"Will you please shut it, Sai?"

Naruto loved working at night. That was why he loved his job at the nursery the most. Well, he loved all of his jobs but working at night really put him at some kind of trance of calmness and peacefulness. Knowing he was alone in a vast place like the nursery school always made him feel calmed, relaxed, and at eased.

But then Sai just had to ruin his one and only happiness.

"I was just asking you, Naruto. You're not answering so I had to repeat the question."

Naruto looked like he was about to murder someone.

"STOP ASKING ME ABOUT THE SIZE OF MY DICK, YOU ASSHOLE!"

"And why not? It was one of the one of the most fundamental things a lover had to ask to his partner, you know."

The blonde gripped the mop so tightly that he could almost break it. Sai was a nice guy, but sometimes, his dick and sick jokes were just too much for him to handle.

It was, most of the times, driving him freaking crazy.

That night, Naruto was serious in shoving the long shaft of the mop into Sai's ass.

He was burning in rage you could see it in his face.

Sai ran screaming all throughout the building.

Thank God no soul was around to see that horrible incident.

"I WAS JUST KIDDING, NARUTO!"

"I wasn't, you dick!"

"Now you call me 'dick'! I thought you don't want to hear anything about dicks! I don't really understand you, Uzumaki!"

"Stop running and I'll let you understand!"

"I don't wannaaaaa!"

Sakura watched the man slowly gathered the papers inside his bag and put the documents one by one on the table. He looked at her with great conviction and she smiled knowing that she could trust him.

Neji screwed and she knew how upset Sasuke about that.

But God knew how upset she was, too.

Heck, she was probably more upset than Sasuke and Neji.

Because that night, she was the one who let their friend slipped away from their lives for good.
