Hi Everyone, I'm back! So sorry that I haven't posted in a long time. Since I began my school year, I have not been able to write much at all. But, since this school year is coming to a close, I have much more time to write :)

So, I have debated for a while in putting this story up. But, my friends who read while I'm writing convinced me to. So, if you like it a lot, review and thank them.

DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN ALICE IN WONDERLAND OR ANY OF THE CHARACTERS AFFILIATED WITH IT. NAMES ARE PURELY CHOSEN BECAUSE THEY FIT THE CHARACTERS I CREATE, AND I OWNLY ACTUALLY OWN ONE.

HER NAME IS ALICE

1. DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE

My feet hit the ground, splashing puddles of rainfall that had just occurred minutes earlier. My sneakers were soaked, as was my socks. My hair fell in wet ringlets around my face, soaking my skin. I glanced over my shoulder, and sighed in relief. The only thing behind me was a plastic bag, flying in the wind. I turned, and continued to jog. I wanted to get out of the dark, cold, and lifeless alley. I glanced behind myself one more time, but my concern was unneeded, as the coast was still clear. The next thing I knew, I was flat on my face. I groaned and pushed my self up. Looking behind me, I saw that I tripped over a crack in the alley.

"Alice, you clumsy girl." Someone said. I gasped, and looked up. In front of me was… a rabbit? Why the hell was there a rabbit, in an alley, in New York City? I glanced around, looking for the voice that called me clumsy. The rabbit was bigger than any other one I have ever saw. He was a probably almost a foot tall. He was pure white, with a pink belly, and very curly whiskers. His violet eyes were bright and unusual for a rabbit. He sniffed the air then leaned down. He looked me straight in the eyes, and grabbed my scarf. My eyes widened, and he began to run.

"Hey! Give that back!" I yelled, rushing to my feet. I chased him through multiple alleyways and on streets until we came to Central Park. I saw his white tail disappear behind a willow tree. I snuck around quietly, and was about to scare him. "Ha!" I said.

The Rabbit was gone.

I looked around, but he was no where in sight. I turned toward a bush with red and white roses, and saw it. My scarf was caught on a thorn. I sighed, glad that the chase was over. I reached out and touched my soft, blue scarf, and took the end in my hand. I tugged softly, but then, something curious happened. There was a tug back, harder than mine, but the rose bush hadn't moved. Then, the tug came again, pulling harder. "What the hell?" I thought, and tugged back. The next tug swept me off my feet, and I landed on my stomach. I was dragged through the bushes, and all I saw in front of me was the little white tail. I let go of the scarf, and grabbed a tree branch that was hanging down low. I watched my scarf sliver down a hole that was huge. I peaked over the edge, and thought "Wow, the darkness must go on for miles."

I leaned back, and at the same time, something grabbed my hand. I stifled a scream, and looked down with my heart in my throat. There was a white paw on my hand. It pulled me forward, pulling me off of the branch I had managed to grab. I toppled into the hole, and fell downward, with the sound of 2012 disappearing around me.
