This is an AU story & my take on what should have happened with Elizabeth & Jack. Many of the original events of the series will be included, as well as some that I create. Some of the events will be omitted and others will be changed to fit my story. The timeline of the events have also changed to fit what I wanted to tell. This story starts after the end of S8 and is about Nathan and Allie moving forward as well as the people of Hope Valley. I have tried to stay as historically true to the time as possible, covering some topics that may be hard to read. It is dark at times and is definitely not an E&L friendly story.
