20. Blue
This was all his fault. He had wanted to save Gwen's father from the disease that was completely consuming Camelot, and succeeded! But in doing so, he had managed to get Gwen accused of sorcery, arrested, and sentenced to death.
He refused to let that happen! Gwen was his only friend here, and he wasn't about to watch her die for something she hadn't done.
"Arthur, I'm telling you! She's not a sorceress!"
The Prince scoffed. "And how would you know that, Merlin?"
"Because…she…doesn't have blue eyes?"
Arthur glared. "Merlin, I have blue eyes."
"And… you're not a sorcerer, Sire."
A/N2: Seriously, why is it that all these Series 1 sorcerers have really dark hair and really blue eyes? (Better question, why hasn't anyone else noticed that and called Merlin out on it?)
