I do not own Avatar: The Last Airbender or The Last Airbender: The Legend Of Korra, but I do own an iPod touch with every single Avatar episode on it!

The weeks seemed to be passing too quickly. Yin-Bei was now staying at the temple to help Katara as she went into labour. The soon-to-be new parents had been sitting on the balcony for what Aang knew to be the last time before they were parents; the sunset had long since been dominated by night. The moon was almost full and there were millions of stars overhead.
"Just imagine, soon we'll be parents, we'll have a daug-a child" Katara cut herself off not wanting a pointless fight to interrupt this peaceful moment.
"Yes, even thought I've had a while to get use to the fact, it's still a lot to take in"
"I know what you mean…" Replied Katara as she put her hands gently on her belly
"I wonder how this is how Avatar Roku felt when he became a father" Aang mused
As much as Katara wanted to spend the whole night out here with her beloved she was beginning to get quite tired, and Yin-Bei had told her that she would need all her energy for what she would be going through in the next few days. After telling Aang this, they retired to their bedroom and let a peaceful slumber steal over them…
….
The next day, Katara was getting fed up. It took her almost double the amount of time it usually would have to do anything. She insisted that Aang not help her with the washing-up today as still wanted to be able to do some things herself. Aang amused himself at the table they had eaten breakfast at by teasing Momo with a moon peach. Every time the small lemur would pounce Aang would use airbending to create a pillow of air under it and move it away.
"I can't waterbend, I have to everything slowly…I wish this baby would just hurry up and come!" Katara said but her wish got granted sooner than she thought.
Almost as soon as the words were out of her mouth she doubled over in pain- her waters had just broke and she was starting to have contractions.
"Aang!" she gasped as she held onto the counter for support.
As much as Aang wanted to help Katara in her time of need to used airbending enhanced running to get Yin-Bei and bring her back.
Yin-Bei took Katara into an already prepared room and sternly instructed Aang to wait outside.
It was all Aang could do to not kick the door down and run into the room whilst he heard Katara gasping in pain and panting. He replayed Yin-Bei's words over and over in his head.
"Wait out here Avatar Aang- Master Katara will be going through enough and I do not want her to also be worrying about you."
But when he heard her scream of pain pierce the air he decided that he would break down the door.
"THUMP!"
He heard the wooden door fall to the ground but he was already by Kataras side. Yin-Bei decided that it would be pointless to send him out again so she gave Aang a moist piece of cloth to wipe her forehead with.
"It's going to be ok honey, you're doing great" Aang kept up the reassurances to try to calm her but it yielded no results.
Finally, After Kataras last energy-draining push, they heard a baby cry and Yin-Bei announce
"Congratulations Avatar Aang and Master Katara- It's a baby girl!"
