Double Trouble

-In which we meet Suki's and Kataras new children

I do not own Avatar: The Last Airbender or The Last Airbender: The Legend Of Korra, but I do own a purple trinket box with a kimono girl on the top

The days turned into weeks, the weeks into months, and the months into years.

Aang and Katara couldn't believe how fast Kya was growing up; she seemed to be passing milestones at an insanely fast rate.

First it was Kya lifting her head, then she sat up by herself, she soon learned to speak after saying her first word (Mama!), then she started to crawl and walk.

A little over three years had passed since Kya was born, and the spirits blessed them with another childbirth.

Twins.

The twins were both boys, and were almost identical- But one had Aangs eyes and the other had Kataras eyes. Both of them had Aangs black hair and if they both had their eyes closed it would become impossible to tell them apart.

Even though Aang thought it was unfair, Katara told him that since she got to name Kya, he got to name the twins. He began to protest but under her stern glare he retreated saying that if they had another child, it was Kataras turn.

First he looked upon his firstborn son- although he was only a few minutes ahead of the other.

As he looked into the infant's storm grey eyes; he was reminded of someone he loved.

"Gyatso" he whispered without thinking

Katara smiled warmly, "That's a perfect name!" she said and Aang snapped out of his daydream.

"What?"

"Gyatso…the name fits perfectly"

"Oh! I suppose it does"

"Now what do we call this little one?" Asked Katara gesturing to the infant with her Blue eyes, like pools of water.

"How about Tenzin?" He asked and Katara nodded in agreement

"Tenzin and Gyatso, Our little twin boys" She said as she picked up Gyatso and watched Aang pick up Tenzin.

"I bet Kya is giving Sokka and Suki a hard time, wanting to see her brother so badly" Said Aang

"Na" Disagreed Katara. "She's probably playing with Rei; Sen is probably begging to come see his boy cousins"

Rei was Suki and Sokkas daughter; she was just a few months younger than Kya. Kya and Rei were best friends and were always playing together. Suki had taken over Sokkas training of her and she was going to train her to become a Kyoshi warrior. Katara thought Rei had looked adorable when she had been playing with Kya with her Face paint on.

When Suki and Sokka bought Kya back, Sen was ecstatic that both his new cousins were boys.

"Well their the closest thing I have too a brother!" He proclaimed which earned him a punch on the arm by Rei.

"There both so…squishy looking!" Said Sokka

"Must you say that about every baby you see?" Said Suki as Aang and Katara laughed.

"Kya, this is Gyatso and this is Tenzin" Said Aang to his daughter gesturing to each of the twins

"Gyso and Ten" Her face was scrunched up in concentration as she tried to pronounce her brothers names correctly. Everybody laughed at her cute attempt to say their names.

"So…what kind of bender do you think they'll be?" Asked Suki

"Airbender"

"Waterbender"

Said Aang and Katara at the exact same time.

"Bender or no bender we'll love them both the same" Said a smiling Katara and Aang nodded in agreement.
