Moon Peaches
In which Tenzin gets hit on the head with a Moon Peach and Gyatso goes missing!"
I do not own Avatar: The Last Airbender or The Last Airbender: The Legend of Korra, but I do own a brain which at the moment is thinking- "Argh! How could I be so stupid? How did I forget to post this chapter!"

A/N As you may have guessed from the disclaimer I had actually written this chapter about a week ago and I thought I had posted it! But when I went on FF.N on my iPod I saw that I only had 14 chapters posted. I am sooo sorry guys! Can you find it in your hearts to forgive me?" ;_;
….
Tenzin, Gyatso and Kya all sat beneath a large tree. It was a beautiful day; the sun was shining and you could hear the occasional chittering of lemurs or the roar of Appa. Even though it was such a lovely day, Tenzin, Gyatso and Kya were purely bored.
"What do you want to do?" asked Gyatso, shooting a small gust of air at a falling leaf.
"I don't know, but were going to Kyoshi tomorrow! That will be fun!" Said Tenzin, being optimistic as usual.
"Why don't we play a game to pass the time" Said Kya, sitting up as she thought of the perfect game
"What game?" asked Tenzin and Gyatso in unison.
"Hide-and-Seek!" Exclaimed Kya
"That sounds fun!" agreed Tenzin
"We'll need some rules though" said Gyatso
"How about…you can't hide in the temple, no gliders and separate hiding spots for everyone?" Asked Kya
"Sure!" Agreed Gyatso.
"Who will be the seeker?" Asked Gyatso, warming to the prospect of Hide-and-Seek.
"I'll be seeker!" Volunteered Tenzin enthusiastically and the others agreed
"Alright, you count to 100 and Gyatso and I will go hide" said Kya
Tenzin nodded then started counting
"1…2…" At the sound of their time limit running out they rushed off to hide
….
Gyatso was wandering through the grounds of the temple; he had to find the best hiding spot. His eyes darted around trying to work out the best place to conceal himself.
"That's perfect!" He thought to himself and rushed off to where he thought no-one would be able to find him.
"I'll win for sure!"
….
When the children played Hide-and-Seek, Kya was renowned for always hiding behind her waterfall
"Not this time" She thought "I'm going to hide where no-one will find me!"
She watched a lemur scurry down from a large tree to pick up a Moon Peach, and then run back up the tree. Her eyes widened in realisation
"Perfect!"
She found herself the biggest tree she could; it had very dense foliage so she could hide up there without getting spotted easily. She had a little bit of trouble climbing the large trunk but she eventually scaled it and sat down on a wide branch
"He'll never find me up here!" Kya thought as she distantly heard Tenzin nearing the end of his counting
...
"97…98…99…100! Ready or not here I come!" Yelled Tenzin so hopefully his siblings knew their time was up.
He wandered around the beautiful gardens looking for any signs of movement, any noise, but this was inevitable because of the large number of animals constantly moving and making sounds.
He decided to start with Kya's waterfall- the whole family had begun using the term "Kya's Waterfall" because of her liking of the spectacular source of water.
As he made his way through a large number of trees that were on the way to the waterfall, something knocked him on the head.
"ow" He thought as he rubbed his head. He leaned down to fetch the objet that had struck him upon his head
It was a Moon Peach.
He looked up at the large tree from which the peach had fallen- he thought he could make out some blue against the leaves that covered the branches.
Acting upon a hunch, he used his airbending to jump from branch to branch- reaching his sister in a matter of seconds.
"Found you!" He yelled happily, Kya was holding onto one of the branches in fright, his sudden appearance had startled her
"Haha, well done" She complimented him, but then lost her balance slightly and began to wobble
"Whoa!" She said whilst trying to regain her balance- Tenzin was quick to help stabilise her
"Are you ok?" he asked worriedly to his sister
"I'm fine" She reassured him "But do you think you could help me down from the tree?" She asked
"Of course! What kind of brother would I be if I left you stranded?" He asked
Kya didn't reply but she was glad she had a brother looking out for her, whether he be younger or not
….
They reached the ground safely and then wondered what they should do now
"Did you want to help me look for Gyatso?" Tenzin asked
Kya nodded and they agreed to split up to cover more area
….
Kya and Tenzin had been looking walked around looking for their brother for so long that the sun had moved across the sky
They met back up in the courtyard
"I'm guessing you didn't find him either?" Tenzin asked and Kya shook her head
"What if he disappeared?" Whispered Tenzin, voicing his fear
Kya's eyes widened- a mixture of fear and worry
"What do we do?" She asked hoping her brother had an answer
"We'll go ask mummy and daddy" He said and Kya nodded
….
Aang and Katara were in the kitchen, Katara was cooking dinner and every time her back was turned Aang would try to waterbend some stew out of the pot and into his mouth
Katara turned to get some bowls and he took his chance- he used waterbending to bring the stew toward him…It was almost there when Aang lost control of it. Katara had turned around and used her bending abilities to move it back into the pot
"You'd think he would of given up after about 10 tries" she mumbled sarcastically to herself
Aang laughed before replying "You know me- I never give up!"
Katara couldn't help but smile at the manner in which he said this
"And that's why you love me" He said
Katara laughed and kissed him
"Right"
They suddenly heard footsteps running toward them- it was Tenzin and Kya
"Oh good, I was just about to tell you kids dinner is almost ready, can you go get Gyatso and wash up fo-" She was cut off
"Mummy I think Gyatso has gone missing!" Said Kya rather quickly and fearfully
"What?" She asked instantly worried
"Well, we were playing Hide-and-Seek and…" She trailed off
"Maybe he just has a really good hiding place" Said Aang calmly
"But we looked everywhere!" Said Tenzin
Aang raised one eyebrow "If you had looked everywhere then you would of found him" Said Aang laughing as he saw his son trying to take in the meaning of his words
"I'll go out and call him" Said Aang heading out the door with Kya and Tenzin following him
…..
"Gyatso!"
"Gyatso!"
Their voices rang out in the evening but did nothing more than scare a few lemurs and birds. They got a reply but it wasn't from Gyatso
"Roar!" came the distinctive tones of Appa walking over to them
"Hey buddy" Said Tenzin as he reached to pat the fluffy bison
"Why don't you fly on Appa and see if you can see him daddy?" Asked Kya
"I don't need to honey" He replied as his eyes fell on Appas saddle
"Why not?" She asked confused
"Because Gyatso is right there sweetie" He said, pointing at the figure curled up in Appas saddle
"Gyatso!" Yelled Kya and Tenzin in unison as they ran forward to Appa
Tenzin used his airbending to lift him into the saddle
"We were calling for you Gyatso" Said Kya, being helped up by her father
"He's asleep!" Laughed Tenzin as he realised why their brother had not been responding to their calls
Aang picked up his son and they made their way back to the temple
Gyatso stirred in his father's arms and opened one eye
"Hi dad" He said with a small tired smile
"You had everyone very worried said Aang as they made their way into the kitchen where Katara was holding Kasami and bending the stew into bowls
"Sorry…" He said sleepily
"Everything is forgiven sweetie" Said Katara when she had made their way over to them and kissed him lightly on the forehead
"So…did I win?"

A/N Ok, I have a few things to cover in this A/N so stick with me! ^_^ Firstly, It would seem that some people are just reading the last chapter when I update with 2 or more chapters! Please look back and see if there are any that you have missed! It may leave you confused if you don't. Secondly, A few people have been asking if Toph can be pregnant- but what does everyone think? Do you want Toph to end up with The Duke, someone else or no-one? Please let me know! And lastly don't fear! We will be visiting Kyoshi island next chapter! Thanks!
