A/N: Ok, so I just came up with this completely at random while trying to figure out something to do until my next class starts. Anyone notice how in SR2 the Aussie voice is way more high pitched and annoying than in 3? If anyone wants to see him I've uploaded a YouTube video of him. Oh yeah, takes place after the 'Save Shaundi' ending… and I finished in enough time for me to slowly walk to class and be right on time.
-Voices-
Peirce sighed and robbed his forehead in frustration. This was his third try against Oleg in a game of chess and from the looks of things he was going to lose. Oleg sat calmly across from him awaiting his next move. Shaundi observed them from time to time, but otherwise ignored them to clean the black pistol in her hand.
"Fuck…" he muttered as he moved a pawn forward.
Just then, the Boss decided to walk in and flop down on the couch next to Shaundi.
"Who's winning?" he asked, an amused smirk forming across his face.
Peirce leaned back with his arms folded and shook his head. "It ain't me dammit."
The Boss let out a low rumble of a chuckle in response. Taking his eyes away from the board, Peirce turned and raised an eyebrow to the Boss.
"Yo Boss, what happened to ya voice?"
"My voice?"
Shaundi looked up from her gun and looked at the man next to her questioningly.
"Yeah, now that I think about it… You sound a bit different. Like you hit puberty again or something."
"No offense or anything," Peirce added. "But you did have kind of a weird, high pitched voice not that long ago."
The Boss looked to his crew for a moment as he thought about what they said. His voice sounded the same to him. Maybe it was a bit huskier than a few years ago.
"Huh.. I guess you're right."
"Checkmate." Oleg said.
Peirce whipped around to see the board. It was true, he lost.
"Aww fuck man!"
