INJOY!

Ella lay on the moss in the forest thinking of how much easier life would be if she lived in the town instead of the forest. Her bright red hair blew in her face as a gentle breeze went by. At that moment a boy came out of the bushes. He was around the same age as Ella, about 15 or 16 with neatly cut blond hair and hazel eyes that had a sharp look in them that made Ella want to run away and hide. Then again, whenever she saw any humans of course she would run. Because…..

"The fairy!" exclaimed the boy. His eyes got a surprised look mixed in with greed and…. Something else that she couldn't put her finger on.

In one fluid motion Ella scrambled up and ran as fast as she could away from the human before he could do anything to her. As she ran she could hear the boy's footsteps behind her. Tears stung Ella's eyes as she wished that she wasn't so head strong and listened to her mother when she told her to stay in the enchanted yard where no one but them could come and go as they pleased.

All of a sudden a large ape-like human stepped out from behind the tree, where he was hiding and into Ella's path. As he leaned forward to grad her she put her hand on his shoulder, vaulted over him and continued to run away from her pursuers.

Then she heard a boy's voice cry out "NOW!" and a net dropped on top of her. Ella screamed as she fell and started to struggle causing her to get even more ensnared in the beastly cage of rough rope.

The boy and even more ape-men then before gathered around her, watching her struggle like a wild animal in the net.

Finally the boy spoke "tie her up"

Ella stopped moving. One of the ape-men stepped forward and slowly lifted the net. Quick as a blink she rolled out from underneath the net…. Right into the boy.

He was stronger than he appeared. His hands where like iron clasps as he grabbed her and pinned her arms to her sides. One of the many ape-men stepped forward with a rope and knelt down to tie her up.

As this happened Ella took a better look at the boy who was obviously in charge. Ella gasped. She recognized the uniform he was wearing. It was from the castle! Ella closed her eyes. "No" she whispered. "no not this" Every magical creature in this land has heard of what the castle did to their kind.

And none of it was good.
