Biju Awaken

Naruto was all over the place, mentally, physically, emotionally.

First Sasuke was drug from the Chamber by Kakashi-sensei. This caused him worry, even if 'duck-but' was a major pain in the ass.

Then Sakura pulled a draw, and lost to Ino (meaning that neightor advanced to the next level.) This caused him sorrow, he had hoped they would all pass.

His ruff n tumble with Kiba and left him stiff and in pain, as he limped back up the steps. Both proud that he had indeed grown stronger, weary, as he had taken quite a beating.

Hinata-chan had given him some wondrous ointment, that really lifted his spirits. Her place in the holding of his heart rose, to equal that of Sakura. The Ointment, once applied sealed his wounds, almost as if they were never there in the first place.

Then in trumps Neji, trying to crush sweet Hinata-chan. A few words from Naruto, to encourage the girl, and Neji goes ballistic. Only because of quick reactions from the jonin instructors, did the Hyuuga not kill his cousin.

That really pissed Naruto off. It violated three tenets of Naruto's personal code. Never strike to kill Family, Never strike to kill ninja of the village, and never strike to kill those you are to protect.

Naruto was seeing red.

Then Lee and Gaara Clashed, and he felt as if another eye opened up.

The guy from Gaara's village wondered over and was asking questions. Here is a guy that wears baggy pajamas, paints his face and plays with dolls.

'Okay, so his doll is a killing machine, and he is very good with It, but still...come on!'

Naruto answered the questions with thought, so while the Suna puppet master was get info, it was coming out garbled and twisted.

First the Sand shield was breached...

Something was drawing Naruto's attention to the redheaded boy.

Then the Armor was cracked...

Naruto had an overpowering urge to jump the rail and look more closely at the 'Sandy ninja'.

When 'Bushy Brow' slammed 'Sandman' into the ground, Naruto leaned forward as to see what was under the sand...only to find that the Sand form was empty. Behind 'Bushy brow', 'sandman' stood up, the sand sliding off like a sheet of water.

That was when Naruto saw that Gaara's eyes were flickering with yellow flames.

-Yes, my Brother. Show me what they did to you.-

Naruto blinked, and looked about, but 'Dolly' was muttering under his breath, a slight quiver to his voice. No one else was close enough to have spoken those words. Besides the voice had a female tone of voice. Shrugging he turned back to the floor show.

Lee took it the next level, and Gaara rose to block him, to push upward once more. When Lee opened his third and fourth gates Naruto's eyes widened. He could see the energy flow around and through the green jump suited ninja.

Then Lee moved.

Naruto easily tracked him as he took it to the 'Sandman'.

When Lee slammed Gaara into the floor, then collapsed ten strides away, Naruto was gripping the rail so tight, that the metal was twisting in his grip.

Gaara's eye flared bright yellow as his sand formed into a massive hand, reaching for Lee. Naruto heard Gaara whisper "Sand Coffin."

Then his world went dark.

Kyubi had a tough 'night' almost a week ago, when her warden drew heavily on her. Then to make things worse, someone tried to slap a five point disruption seal over her binding seal. It disrupted alright, it turned her cage in the sewers into cage on a spire in the middle of the badlands, where she was assaulted by heat, driving winds, and the high pitched voices of her host's companions.

Now she could not get comfortable enough to fully recharge. It felt as if her tails were caught in trap of some kind. A burst of dark chakra like the one on her seal, caught her attention. She could now see through his eyes, hear with his ears... granted it was like watching through a water fall, but it was better then the wind and sun.

Seeing the kit get thrown around by the 'half breed' brought a smile to her vulpine face. Then how he crushed the 'half breed' first by using the half breed's enhanced senses, then a combination of heavy chakra use and heavy handed Taijutsu, made her proud.

When her host crossed paths with the female with pale eyes, she found that there was a bond, on the low end of the spectrum, between the two. She grinned that smug grin that only the most ancient of grandmother's had perfected.

Then the girl was fighting, and the kit wanted to jump down and protect her. It warmed her heart that her host was so open and protective of the female.

The only thing prevented the kit from coming to her rescue was the chakra grip of the one eyed jonin, but when the other jonin intervened, Naruto just gripped the rail, twisting it.

Then things got real interesting.

An outsider with something that tickled her memory... but what?

An outsider was facing off with a member of the village, one of the protected.

Then the fighting grew in 'power', in anger, as both refused to allow the other the upper hand.

She was impressed when the protected, who to her eyes, was considered a cripple buy the standards of those around him, went toe to toe with what could only be a Jinchuuriki.

First there was the Sand Shield, a basic but telling jutsu...

Then the Shield was bypassed, but the Sand Armor caught it.

When the green ninja slammed the Jinchuuriki into the floor, it awoke the Biju within.

-Yes, my Brother. Show me what they did to you.-

As each chakra gate of the green ninja opened, the limiters on the Biju collapsed until only the will of the Jinchuuriki kept her old friend in check.

When the Leaf Ninja returned the Jinchuuriki to the ground, the Biju enhanced the finial strike of its host..."Sand Coffin"

She seized control over her host and launched a volley of foxfire into the sand wave, disrupting the chakra matrix within the sand. Landing between the two combatants, "Enough Shakaku. Jonin, remove your youngling."

The redheaded ninja climbed to his feet, his eyes burning with yellow flames. "I was going to kill that. Give it back."

"No. It is mine." Kyubi spoke gently. "It is of the Village, and the Village is under my protection." She cocked her head to the side. "It seems your seal is... flawed."
