Well, hello everyone! I know I hadn't updated since... what, a year? Probably. Well, I had my reasons, but am not planning to explain myself here. I just want you to enjoy the new chapter. You'll hopefully like it.

Max POV

I had no idea what was going on. Fang raced down the streets with me hanging over his shoulder, taking turns here and there in order to lose the person chasing us. We were moving too fast for me to notice what exactly we had been escaping from. But whatever it was, it sure wasn't anything pleasant. Fang sure knew what he was doing... My mind slowed down as the image of the kiss displayed in my head. He was so rough and so gentle at the same time... Sudden jolt made me come back to the reality as I hit my head against Fang's back. I winced at the pain and raised my head in order to observe the surrounding. I tilted myself a bit to the right and glanced quickly at my dark haired hero. I was really amazed by the strength he had as he didn't slow down even for a single moment. And I was sure I weighed a bit. I wasn't fat, that was for sure, but as a rather tall girl, I sure wasn't a feather to carry around.

"Oh, hello Fang"

We stopped suddenly and I collided with the back again. Ouch. What has gotten into me to think about diet in such a moment, anyway?

As I rubbed my aching forehead, Fang dropped me casually and I fell down to the ground. Oh, yes, even more pain. Grimacing a bit, I arduously got off my knee and cursing under my breath, brushed the dirt of my pants. I straightened my back, cracked my knuckles and finally I looked around. I was rooted to the ground as I saw the group of over-sized, black Rottweilers surrounding us. Exactly the same ones that chased me after I entered the first Hell. Nervously, I shot a glance at Fang, with panic written all over my face but he stayed emotionless not looking in my direction.

"We got an information that a living soul is wandering around Sullvey." I heard a deep, coarse voice and disorientated scanned the surrounding again. I looked down and just then I noticed the dwarf standing in front of us. Startled I took a step back and the small guy dangerously narrowed his bushy eyebrows. He stroke his long, black beard with his unpropotionally muscular hand as his small eyes roamed over my body. Using quick steps he walked over to me, but Fang stopped him, stepping in front of me.

"I thought that was a big deal itself, but now I see the things are even more interesting" He continued, slowly shaking his head. I felt uncomfortable under his gaze, but stayed silent. The dogs around us were burring, but standing in place, not daring to attack us without the command.

"It's none of your business, Gento" Fang hissed, taking a step forward. His voice was cold and sharp as a knife. "You don't want anything bad to meet your family, now, do you?"

The dwarf stopped stroking his beard, his left eyebrow slightly going up. The corners of his mouth twitched as a small smile appeared on his face for a second.

"Your father is who I work for. And you can't do anything against his will" Gento replied in a low voice, taking a step closer to Fang as well. He tilted his head up and crossed his hairy arms across his chest. Fang cleared his throat and straightened his back in order to look even taller "And it's you who will be in big trouble once your father finds out what you're doing"

I observed the two guys not really sure what they were talking about anymore. It was obvious that Fang and the dwarf knew each other from before. But what have the small guy meant when talking about Fang's father? I had to ask the involved himself later on.

"I know what I am doing" Fang returned, glaring now with pure hatred at Gento. "So better take your puppies and leave, now"

The dogs bellowed ferociously and the dwarf chuckled under his breath. He shrugged casually and took couple of steps backwards. I observed him from behind Fang, feeling as my stomach scrunched up. Something bad was going to happen.

"Boys, take her down" Gento finally said, making the bloodthirsty Rottweilers leap forward. I screamed when Fang winkled out his sword from the holder and empaled the dog attacking him on it. He brought the sword out of the guts in one swift move and swished it in the air cutting heads of three fiendish creatures. Fang was brandishing the sword around, killing unforgivably. I stood close to him avoiding being attacked by one of the monsters. With the corner of my eye I had watched the dwarf as he nervously fidgeted in place, aware of the fact that he was losing to Fang. Implicitly I dropped on my knee and crawled in between the dead bodies toward the dwarf. When I reached him I grabbed his beard and roughly brought down to myself. The dwarf shrieked loudly from pain and the dogs suddenly stopped moving. Gento stared at me with fear in his small, brown eyes, now full of tears. Fang froze too, not expecting me to move anywhere from behind him.

"I..." I started, my voice caught in my throat. I could feel the tension in the air, the uncertainty to what I was about to say. But honestly, I wasn't even sure myself. I just suddenly felt the urge to grab the dwarf by his beard and so I did. I dropped my hand, letting it fall lose next to my side. My mouth was slightly open as I tried to figure out what had really guided my actions. But just as soon as I dropped the beard, the dogs attacked again. I curled into a ball, when one of the enormous black beasts leaped at me, but it's sharp teeth never touched my body. My savior was standing there next to me again.

"Here!" Fang shouted as he threw his sword at me to catch it. I jumped up in the air and swirling around took a swing and cut the dwarf's beard off.

"NOOOOO!" Gento shouted and as in a slow motion dropped on his knee in despair. Then, as the wind blew, he vanished in the air, soon followed by his dogs.

I was breathing heavily feeling more tired than ever in my life. I felt as if the whole power had been sucked of me.

"Fang" I whispered, still staring bluntly somewhere in front of me. I felt his warm hand placed on my shoulder, the other one wrapping comfortingly around my waist.

"Yes?" he asked softly, his face close to my ear. I could feel his cold breath on my left cheek.

"I killed him" I mumbled almost to myself and Fang nodded his head.

"Yes, Maximum. You just killed the king of second Hell himself"

WOOOHOOOOHOOO! :) So that's it. Now the rest is up to you. Review, because reviews is what gets me going. Without your opinion I don't really know whether the story is worth continuing or not. Also, reviews make the chapters appear faster. Don't walk by the chance of the new chapter appearing sooner! Review now, it's not that hard. :D
