Here's the second chapter. Enjoy.

"cough! Cough! Everyone alright?"Coughed Hal as he got up from his seat.

There was no reply. Hal tried again, still no one answered. Hal was begging to get worried, the ship may have been dark and filled with smoke, but he could not see Razer or Kilowog. Then Hal heard something.

"Hello? Is someone there?" Asked Hal.

He heard someone cough. "Hello! Any survivors?" Asked a voice.

"I'm over here!" Answered Hal.

He was filled with joy, his friends might be alive.

Cheetor walked toward the voice. Him and the other maximals had arrived not to long ago to find two organics unconsisnes along with Silverbolt and Nightscream kicking the living tar out of the veacons who had tried to raid the ship.

"Hello! Any survivors?" Called Cheetor as he walked.

"I'm over here!" Called a voice.

Cheetor charged off in the direction of the sound. Cheetor entered the cockpit where he found an organic.

'Better take it to beast mode.' Thought Cheetor turning into his beast mode.

"Hey you okay?" Asked Cheetor approaching the organic.

"What the? A talking Cat!"

"Hey! I'm a cheetah!" Hissed Cheetor.

"Who are you? What are you?" Asked the organic.

"My name is Cheetor and I am a maximal, and you are?" Said Cheetor giving the organic a curious look.

"My name is Hal Jordan. But you can call me Hal." Greeted Hal.

Then they heard a ringing sound.

"Cheetor! Cheetor are you there!" Called a voice.

Cheetor raised a small round device on his right paw up to his mouth.

"This is Cheetor here. What is it Rattrap?" Asked Cheetor.

"Have you found the organic?" Asked another voice different from the one before.

"Ya. I found him big bot. What is going on out there?" Replied Cheetor a little concerned.

"We've managed to lead the veacons away from the ship but they still are trying to get to it. You need to get back to the tunnel! The other organics and Potanica are waiting for you. Hurry! Rattrap out." Then the com-link turned off.

"Alright. You heard him let's move! Unless you want to be fried or there is another organic on board that we need to save." Said Cheetor turning his head to Hal.

"No. By the sound of things, you and your friends have found the rest of my crew." Answered Hal.

Cheetor gave him a nod then turned and ran for the exit with Hal running after him.

Outside it was utter chaos. Veacon bodies were scattered across the field and more were still attacking the small group of techno-organics.

"Boss monkey if we don't retreat we'll get fried!" Shouted Rattrap over the roar of the battle.

"As much as it pains me to say this, but Rattrap has a point. We need to retreat while we still have a chance." Agreed Silverbolt.

"I know. But we have to buy Cheetor some more time while he evacuates the organic to the catacombs." Answered Optimus sending a blast of energy at a large group of tanks.

The battle continued to rage on as Hal and Cheetor made their way to the catacombs while the rest of the maximals fought on with the enemy.

"Quick! We don't have much time and neither do my friends." Said Cheetor as he and Hal ducked and waved through tunnels filled with veacon patrols.

"I know but... why are you helping me?" Asked Hal.

"Because it's my job! And my superior, Optimus primal, thinks you and your friends may be able to stop the techno-organic war." Answered Cheetor continuing down the tunnel.

A few minutes later they arrived at the maximals head quarters where Potanica, Kilowog and Razer were waiting.

"Jordan! You're alive!" Shouted Kilowog with joy giving Hal a huge hug.

"I never thought I would say this but it's good to see you Hal Jordan." Repiled Razer.

"So any word from the others?" Asked Cheetor.

"They are on their way back as we speak. And they are bring some more spare parts for the orcherds watering system." Answered Potanica.

"Well as soon as everyone is back we can have a proper introduction. Though your blue lantern friend there won't need it." Said Cheetor turning to the three lanterns.

Hal and Kilowog looked at Razer then back to Cheetor.

"What do you mean?" Asked Hal raising an eyebrow.

"Razer here is from the Havenstar family, and they are allys of ours. Though we haven't seen them in a while except for those on our team." Answered Cheetor.

"But enough chit chat we need to get back to the orcherd so that when the others get back we can get to work right away." Said Potanica.

Cheetor nodded and they both turned and left with the lanterns right behind them.

Further down the tunel a techno-organic wolf griffin paced back and forth in and orchered of techno-organic trees.

"Valon. You need to stop pacing. Or other words you'll make yourself sick." Said a larg pink spider with green spots.

"Sigh. Sorry Blackaracnia but... I have a bad feeling that something is going to happen." Replied Valon.

Blackaracnia rolled her eyes.

"Valon you always say that! But nothing bad has ever happened."

Valon looked at the the arachnid. She usually said this as a hint that she wanted him to shut up and stop complaining.

"We're home!" Called Rattrap in a sing-song voice.

Valon and Blackaracnia walked over to greet the others. But Valon became cautious. He smelled something uncannily with the other maximals.

"We have guest as well." Said Cheetor, noticing how tense Valon was.

"Valon? Valon is that you?" Asked a voice.

Valon turned to see three lanterns, one blue and two green.

The Blue lantern stared at Valon with a look of pure shock on his face. It had been 18 years since they had seen one another. But Valon wouldn't remember, he was only an infant when that happened.

"Valon. You know Razer?" Asked Nightscream, landing next to Valon.

"Sadly, yes." Replied Valon.

"Razer here, is Valon's father. But neither of them have seen one another in 18 years. Though Valon doesn't care. He hates Razer." Said Rattrap.

"Yes I hate my father. But I am going to let you go if you do one thing for me." Growled Valon at Razer.

"And what might that be?" Asked Razer.

"Leave or die!"

Duh Duh Duh Dun! The new chapter with terrible ending. I'm sorry but been really busy. Sorry if it is short but I had little to no inspiration.
