Chapter 10: The Reaction of the Clan

Mr. and Mrs. Weasley were furious at their youngest son for what he did to Hermione, intentional or not. Molly was so mad Arthur swore he saw flames coming from her ears, and balls of fire in her eyes. When they finally finished the letter that Albus sent them, without a thought they immediately went to Hogwarts.

Albus, Severus, Harry and Ron were waiting for Mr. and Mrs. Weasley when they saw them come in from the fire place. Ron showed no emotion what so ever, but anger written all over the two Professor's face.

"RONALD WEASLEY! HOW DARE YOU ALMOST KILL YOUR BEST FRIEND! I DON'T CARE IF YOU DID IT INTENTIONATLY OR NOT! YOU DESERVE MUCH MORE PUNISHMENT THAN JUST BEING EXPELLED FROM HOGWARTS! YOU SHOULD GO TO AZKABAN FOR ATTEMPTED MURDER!" Molly screamed from the top of her lungs, the only other person Severus was afraid off besides Albus and Voldemort, was Molly Weasley herself. And he thinks that Albus is just as afraid of her as he was. As he saw Albus quiver in fear from her voice.

"M-mom… I didn't" Ron tried to spit it out before she cut him off.

"I DON'T CARE IF YOU MEAN IT OR NOT! YOUR LAZINESS ALMOST GOT A PERSON KILLED!" Molly yelled further. Arthur couldn't say anything. But Harry's face grew red.

"I knew it! From this day forward, you are no longer my friend. I disown you, and whatever fate comes your way, you deserve everything you get." Harry said to Ron. Finally, Ron's face dropped, and tears came from his eyes. Everyone hated him. He hated himself.

"Ronald Bilus Weasley, you are hearby expelled from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. All your grades up to this point will be Poor's, and next week, Kingsley will come by to take you for five years of Azkaban. Your laziness almost murdered someone. That should give you some time to think about what you have done." Albus said. Severus had a huge smile on his face as Weasley started balling.

"NO! please! No Azkaban! I'll do anything! Where's 'Mione?!" Ron called out.

"NO! You will go to Azkaban, you WILL serve your sentence, you good for nothing piece of shit!" Severus screamed. Albus had to bound him to the chair before Ron did anything more stupid.

"Severus, go check on Ms. Granger." Albus ordered.

"Can I come too? I can't take any of this anymore." Harry asked. Severus turned to him. He knew Harry would kick his ass if he stayed in this room any longer, as much as it would please Severus to no end to watch Harry beat the hell out of his ex-best friend, he didn't want Harry getting in anymore trouble.

"Yes Mr. Potter, you can come along too." Severus answered and Harry followed him to the hospital wing where they found Hermione reading a muggle book.

"Hermione!" Harry yelled running up to Hermione and hugging her.

"Harry! How have you been?" Hermione asked.

"Worried sick over you! Professor Snape saved your life!" Harry said.

"I know, Severus is wonderful!" Hermione said as she looked up at her Professor.

"I am?" Severus seemed shocked. Harry stunned.

"Severus? Since when?" Harry asked.

"Harry….please don't get mad, but…. We love each other. He saved my life." Hermione said, hoping that Harry wouldn't lash out at her.

"No, I'm not mad 'Mione, as long as you're happy, and Professor Snape-" Harry said before Severus cut him off.

"I will not hurt her if that's what you're implying. Besides, you can't take me on anyways, I'll knock you on your feet before you say ridiculous." Severus smirked. Hermione laughed and Harry grunted.

"Fine." Harry said, Hermione turned to Harry,

"What happened to Ron?" Hermione asked. Severus went to her side and held her hand.

"He's been expelled from Hogwarts, and will be sentence to Azkaban for five years for attempted murder." Severus answered. Hermione actually gave a sigh of relief.

"He deserves whatever he gets. I hope he's happy." Hermione said. Both Harry and Severus smiled.

"I'm surprised you're not trying to defend the bastard." Harry mentioned.

"No, not anymore. I'm sick of his attitude, I'm sick of being used by him." Hermione confessed, Severus kissed her temple.

"Well, now that he's out of the way, time to start a new life yes?" Severus asked.

"Well, we still have to defeat Voldemort. Remember?" Harry said. Severus' smile turned upside down.

"Yes. We do. But we'll do it!" Hermione said, and Harry and Severus agreed.
