Penn stalked toward the mansion. The twins wouldn't be able to hunt him up a new toy for the night. He needed them. They walked behind him silent and deadly. He wasn't foolish enough to beard the lion without back up. Sophie would need to be fed before she would be strong enough to handle watching his back. Keeping her so weak had been a mistake, enjoyable but an indulgence he could ill afford now. He needed her now, but she hadn't even managed to crawl from her bed, shirking her duty to dress him and serve at his pleasure. Smoothing the black cashmere sweater along his body, he bit back the snarl. He would need to forego punishing her for a bit. He grimaced as he looked up at his sire's current residence. The door opened and a minion bowed low before him.

"My master bids his favorite son welcome." The reedy little vamp whispered and Penn sneered. Angelus hadn't bothered to be there for his son in a very long time.

"Favorite, my ass. Only son, I'm his only son." He snarled as he stalked into the mansion.

The place was impressive enough, but he had admired the architecture on his previous visit. Focus was required. Angelus' presence played along his nerves as he walked into the main room, intent on seeing his sire for the first time in over a century.

The scene before him was familiar. Angelus sat in a large chair as minions bustled about, stringing up humans. His dark princess was curled at his feet, but her bloody William was missing. A new boy was busy with his head under her skirts. Penn grinned in anticipation. It would be sweet to here the tale of the bastard upstart's demise.

Drusilla looked up at him with her wide eyes and giggled. His sire's triumph of evil seemed as useless as ever, but he smiled at her. No point in starting off on a bad foot.

"Look at his toy soldiers, Daddy. Such a shame. He took away all the fun parts. How will I play with them?"

"Mind your own boy, and let me deal with your brother." Angelus stroked her head gently and stood. "Penn, it has been a long time."

"Yes, it has. Am I to be allowed to rejoin the family proper again?" Penn tried to appear amused by their exchange. Angelus grinned and stepped closer to stroke his cheek.

"You may rejoin us. You must of course submit to me, but you shall be welcome. You and yours. Where is Sophie? I had hoped to see her again."

"She will come when I bid her. She is quite devoted." Penn said and stepped sideways to examine a human hanging from the rafters. It flinched away from him and he trailed his fingers along the dangling legs. "A nice selection. May I?"

"Let's talk before I allow you to sup at my table, shall we?" The underlying steel in his sire's voice set his nerves on edge. Penn stepped back from the human and looked up into the still familiar brown eyes. "Drusilla, take your cousins on a tour of our home. Give us some time to talk."

"Yes, Daddy. I will take them all around and we will entertain them. Won't we my darling, boy?" She pun in a circle and sang some childish verse before lowering her head to Angelus in an unusual obeisance. At least such acts had been unusual for her when he had last been welcome in their home. Penn watched the twins leave with his sister and her new toy and tried to feel confident and secure.

"Where is Darla? Are you keeping her from the room until I vow to respect your command?"

"I dusted Darla, and I won't be needing you to offer me meaningless words." Angelus smiled and grabbed his shoulder. "I wouldn't believe them anyway."

"You dusted Darla. How? Why? She was a goddess, a delight." Penn shrugged his sire's hand from his shoulder and shifted into game face.

"She was remarkable in every way, and I miss her viciousness. Still, she thought to take something that was mine and I am less tolerant of such behavior now." Angelus stared at him from his still human face and smiled. "Darla never mourned your loss, Boyo, so let it go."

Penn clenched his fists and growled, struggling with the desire to once more please his family, to belong. Darla deserved to be avenged. The image of her laughing with a bloodied mouth fixed in his mind. She had been evil at its most beautiful and alluring. He growled and rushed Angelus.

The mocking laughter of his sire filled the air as he slid to the side avoiding his outstretched arms. He felt the punch to his lower back as he stumbled, but he turned to attack again. Angelus raised one human eyebrow and gestured him forward with the fingers of one hand.

"Show me what you've got, Boyo. Let's see what kind of master you've turned out to be." Angelus smirked and charged toward him. Penn tried to shift away, but there was no opening. His sire anticipated his every move. They met in a swirl of motion. Claws scored his body and fists pummeled him. For every blow he landed Angelus landed five. He hadn't been beaten like this in over a century.

The image of William's snarling face telling him to be off flashed through his mind. He had resented the younger vampire's mercy, had made excuses for it over the years. That lunatic's misbegotten offspring had left him with the strength to go. Angelus would do no such thing. He should have resisted the call to come here.

Angelus shoved him up against a wall, and ripped the sweater down the back. He stepped close behind Penn and bit the shell of his ear with blunt human teeth. There was no escape, no help coming. He closed his eyeAngle could here his sire shift just before the larger vampire drove his fangs deep into his neck. His precious blood was being pulled in long draughts from his body. He relaxed against his sire and felt the strong arms wrap around him.

Joy flooded him as his sire drank him down. He had missed this, missed belonging. Familiar hands ripped his clothing from him and caressed him. He quivered as claws flayed his skin. He thrilled as Angelus shoved him into the wall once more. there was no fight left in him. He would serve. It was all he was meant to do.

"Please, Sire, use me. I am yours." He coughed out. He rubbed back against his sire's erection hoping to entice him. It had been so long.

Angelus wrenched his mouth free and let the blood flow from the horrendous wound he had made. Penn shuddered in his sire's arms. When the cold metal of the manacles pressed against his wrists, he whimpered. Angelus stepped away and left him sagging. He was only able to stand because the manacles were keeping him upright.

"Survive the day, my son, and we shall see if I have a use for you." Angelus said softly as he stood before him and looked him over. Penn screamed as Angelus grabbed his manhood and twisted it cruelly. "You were never the most imaginative fuck, best start thinking how to please me. You won't get another chance. Hoist him up. Let him be reminded what weakness earns in this family."

Penn screamed as his arms were wrenched up until he was well off the ground. He listened as his sire left him to hang with the food. Agony and abandonment were his fate and would always be. His tears joined the blood flowing from his body.
