I don't even know to start this... I'm so honestly sorry it took me so damn long to updated this. But I haven't been feeling inspired, and everytime I started to write, my attention was pushed somewhere else. But hey, here's a new chapter, it's a big one and I hope you enjoy it!
"Who had the ignorant idea of getting married four months pregnant?" Regina asked trying once again to lift the dress up, but no matter how hard she tried the dress wouldn't pass through her belly. "Oh, wait, that must be me." She gave up and threw her dress on the floor, staying only in a matching white strapless bra and panties. "I can't fit in my own wedding dress" she said through her teeth. "This is ridiculous! I wore them last week just fine!"
She was furious with herself. They were getting ready for her wedding in her bedroom. She wanted to get married with Robin more than anything in the whole world; she wanted to be his in all the ways possible. And because of her mistake, that wouldn't be possible. At least not in that day.
"I told you to wear them again this week before the wedding. Pregnant women gain weight from one week to another, it is normal. But you didn't listen to me." Snow said amused.
"My mom is right." Emma said twitching slightly as if she was holding back a laugh.
"Shut up, Swan. Stop laughing, both of you, or else the Evil Queen will make a comeback!"
"At least you won't be able to throw fireballs at us" Emma said smirking.
"Oh, I won't?" Regina raised one eyebrow. "Just watch me!"
"Hey, hey stop" Snow said getting in the middle of them and placed a hand on the brunette's shoulder. "Calm down. You know this stress isn't good."
Regina took a deep breath and with Snow's help, she sat in her bed.
"I'll just call the wedding off. The bride doesn't have a dress." she said looking down in a low voice, transmitting how disappointed and sad she was.
"Don't worry. I knew this was going to happen so I called to your seamstress. She is on the way."
"Thanks God." she sighed in relief. "You know you're the best bridesmaid ever, right?" Regina smiled looking to Snow.
"Hey! What about me?" the blondie said before her mom could reply.
"Sorry, Emma, but after the things I did for this couple I think I deserve the title".
Regina agreed and Snow's daughter asked what exactly she did for the soon to be married couple.
"Well, to start, Regina wouldn't have opened up her heart to him and let go of her fears if wasn't for me. I told her that her heart would find its way to happiness again, to not let anything hold her back. And then she went to meet him and they kissed for the first time."
"How do you know that? I didn't tell you that I kissed him that night!"
"Well, you didn't need to. You left saying that you're going to talk with him and in the next day you couldn't stop smiling and you were glowing."
A smile appeared automatically on Regina's lips when flashbacks of that day started to run in her mind.
He apologized for letting her heart literally slip out from his hands. But she couldn't care less about it at that moment. He was so closed to her and all she could pay attention on was on his lips. She couldn't handle the tension that emanated from both of them anymore. It was unbelievable the strong feelings she was feeling for him even without her heart in her chest. She grabbed him by his collar and pulled him closer, invading his mouth with hers.
They parted just a little, and Robin could see the vulnerability in her eyes. He could see how scared she was, but he was determined to show her that she didn't need to be afraid. That she could trust him. That the last thing he wanted was to hurt her. He could see that she was also afraid that he didn't feel the way she was feeling. But just by looking in his eyes now, she realized that he wanted her as much she wanted him. He leaned in to kiss her again, and he kissed her with every fiber of his being.
They leaned back their heads just a little to catch some air and their foreheads touched for the first time. She looked down blushing and he used his right hand to lift her chin up.
"You're beautiful, you know that milady?"
She felt her cheeks burn even harder and a silly smile played on her face. He pulled her for another kiss, because now that he taste it after wondering so much how her mouth would taste like and wanting to taste it like crazy, he couldn't get enough. She sucked his bottom lip and he moaned, taking a step forward and pressing her against a tree. She was the one who moaned this time, and he took the chance to slip his tongue inside her mouth. If you asked Regina Mills if she didn't have something better to do than to kiss Robin, she would say she most definitely didn't have something better to do. His mouth was like heaven to her. It was warm, soft, delicious and inviting.
After a few minutes they stopped kissing and touched their foreheads again, with eyes closed. Robin felt Regina shiver and he opened his eyes, taking off his jacket.
"Let's take you home." Robin whispered putting his jacket around her.
She thanked him and agreed with going home. He placed one arm around her and she laid her head on the crock of his neck. They walked to her house that way, and a thought crossed on Regina's mind "I'm already in home".
When they arrived on her house, he took his cell phone out of his pocket.
"Can I get your number?" he asked looking at her.
"Sure."
He smiled with her answer and tried to open the contacts of his cell phone to put her number in it, but he was failing. He couldn't find it.
"When will I learn how this damn thing works?" he muttered angrily.
Regina laughed and Robin raised one eye brow to her, which just made her laugh even more.
"Ok, don't get too angry about it" she said when she realized that it was really upsetting him. "I had a hard time on learning how cell phone works too when I first..." she stopped herself, noticing what she was going to say. She looked to his eyes before adding "when I first cursed everyone and created this town."
She lowered her head, but he once again in that night, used his hands to lift it up.
"Regina, that's not who you are anymore. I know the things you did in the past, but I can see that you changed."
She could see in his expression that he really believed on what he was saying. He wasn't saying that just for say. And that warmed her heart and it made her smile.
"Here, let me show you how this works"
She took his cell phone in her hands and showed him how to see the contacts and how to add more.
"I know you have been to Granny's already, but have you eaten her food?" she asked later.
"No. I'm not much a fan of eating a food that I don't know where it came from. And I'm still getting used the new foods of this world."
"Do you want to have breakfast with me at Grannys tomorrow?"
She challenged him, waiting to see if he would refuse a breakfast with her just because he wasn't used to the food Grannys had.
"There's nothing I'd rather do."
She smiled and leaned in, putting her arms around his neck and giving a sweet peck on his lips.
"I promise the food isn't bad."
In the next day, Robin tried bacon for the first time and to his surprise, he liked it. He walked with Regina to Charming's apartment and he left her there, but not before share a private moment with her in the hallway filled with kisses and "good luck" wishes.
"And besides that," Snow said bringing Regina back to the reality. "I helped her not to feel so guilty when Marian was frozen. She came to me a lot of times asking for advice, and I think the things I said helped."
"It did help." Regina smiled "I'll press more smoothing cream on my skin while the seamstress doesn't arrive."
She went to the bathroom and put some crème on her hands and applied it on her body. The cream smelled like vanilla and she loved it and she knew the smell always drove Robin crazy. And she was oh so planning on driving him crazy tonight. She started to think about his reaction and she felt a heat in the middle of her legs in anticipation. She bit her bottom lip as she told herself to knock it off, that it was not the time to have inappropriate thoughts. She still had a full wedding to go though before she could have him all alone. But she was pregnant, hormones burning inside her and she couldn't stop imagining… oh, God, the things he could do with his fingers…
She was about to bring her fingers to the middle of her legs when she heard the doorbell rang. She sighed frustrated and finished to spread the crème on her body. She left the bathroom and saw the woman who was going to fix her dress there.
"Come on, there's no time to lose."
Regina nodded and put the dress on, taking extra care to not mess her hair that was up in a beautiful bun braids. While the seamstress worked to extend the dress in the waist, without wanting to, she started to think about her mother. About how she wanted her mom there to help her to get ready and see her big special day. Her mom brought her a lot of pain, but Regina could understand now. Her mom was afraid that Regina was going to live in the shadows, the way she used to live before she met Henry, Regina's father. Love only brought pain and deception on Cora's life, and because of that she thought everyone was better off without it. She didn't believe that love was real, that two people could be together just because they wanted to be together, with no second intentions. She was literally heartless and she couldn't feel things deeply like Regina was able to when she was without her heart. In the moment Cora's heart was back in her chest, she realized her mistakes and she admitted that her daughter would've been enough. Regina wanted to spend more time with that woman. She wanted that woman there with her in that moment and in every moment.
But that wasn't possible. Because she was dead. And Regina tried as best as she could to make peace with that. But it was an important day for her. A day that every parent should be present and she missed her mother. And her father…. ah, her sweet father. He always stayed by her side. He tried to protect her as much as he could. She killed him with her own hands and if there was one thing she would change in her past without a doubt, it would be that. She thought killed him was going to give her the happiness she so desired, but that wasn't exactly what happened.
"Hey, are you crying?" Snow asked and Regina noticed there were a tear falling down her own face.
"What? No, no." Regina said stretching her back and wiping the tear with her thumb.
"Hmm" Snow said looking at her intensively. "I think I know what's going on. Can you two leave us alone for a moment please?" Snow asked to daughter and to the woman who was working on Regina's dress.
"Ok, but if you want the dress to be ready before the time of the wedding you better not take so long." theseamstress said and she left the bedroom with Emma, leaving the two brunettes women alone.
"We don't have much time, so I'll just say it right away, loud and clear." Snow said sitting beside Regina in the bed. "You're missing your parents."
"How do you know that?" Regina asked with her mouth half opened, shocked.
"I'm married, did you forget? And my parents weren't there in my wedding too."
"And I went to your wedding to ruin it." Regina said with a sad smile.
"Well, in all fairness the wedding was really boring and you showing up there was actually great because it made things more interesting." Snow said and both women laughed.
"What I'm trying to say is that I understand what you're feeling, Regina. But I want you to know that I'm one hundred percent sure that wherever your parents are, they're really, really proud of you."
A tear escaped from Regina's eyes and she was thankful for her friend's words. She didn't trust in her voice in that moment, so she just tried to give the best and large smile possible.
"What you're doing it's exactly what they would have wanted you to do. To embrace your happiness." Snow continued and Regina took Mary's hands in hers and squeezed it. "I know you might be feeling sad right now, but it will pass. Trust me, in the moment you see Robin today you won't be able to focus on anything else."
Regina knew she was right. She was excited to see Robin in a suit. To see those shining blue orbs waiting for her at the altar looking at her with so much passion. They hugged, Regina whispered a "thank you" on Snow right ear and then Emma and the seamstress came back to the room.
"You honestly won't let me see Robin before the wedding?" Regina asked to Snow as the seamstress was working on her dress.
"Of course I won't! The groom can't see the bride before the wedding. We have to follow the tradition!"
Regina rolled her eyes. She couldn't care less about the tradition, not when she was already missing him so much. And they last saw each other at 10pm in the previous day. She was pathetic. No, not pathetic, she corrected herself, just in love. But she knew her friend wasn't going to change her mind and she wouldn't back down, so Regina tried a different approach.
"Can I at least call him? Please?"
Snow sighed and took her stepmom's cell phone out of her purse and gave it to her. Regina called Robin and her face lifted up when she heard his voice.
"Hi love." she heard him say and his sweet british accent sounded like music to her ears, as usual. "I thought us talking today no matter how before the wedding was off-limits."
"Hi." She replied smiling. "And it was, but with my cute pouty face and insistation (CONFIRMER) I convinced her to at least let me speak with you over the phone. And it seems you convinced Will and Hook to let you answered my call too."
"That I did." she could practically see his smirk as he answered her. "At first they didn't want to let me grab my cell phone, but then I said "Regina's cell phone was with Snow. If she's calling me it's because Snow allowed her to. So please give my phone." and Hook looked to Will, and they kept looking at one another, trying to see if maybe I was lying, and then they shook their shoulders and gave me the phone."
That's my smart man, Regina thought as her lips curved up in a smile.
"And you were right. Snow allowed me to call you. What are you doing right now?" Regina asked.
"I'm helping Henry with his tie." Robin said and Regina heard Henry's voice in the background saying "Hi mom!"
"Hi sweetheart." A big smile appeared on Regina's face at the image of Robin helping Henry, talking care of him.
"And what are you doing right now?"
Regina sighed at Robin's question, looking down at the seamstress working at her dress.
"The dress didn't fit me so my seamstress is here adjusting it."
"So Snow was right."
"Oh, no, don't start it you too. Please." she felt her temper starting to get the best of her.
Robin chuckled and she felt her heart melt at the sound of his laughter.
"Well, I hope you won't use that as an excuse to pull off the wedding and runaway from me, milady." judging by the tone of his voice, she knew he was just playing around and trying to light up her mood.
"I wouldn't let anything stand in the way of our wedding." she answered him smiling.
"Good" he said softly, and then he lowered the tone of his voice. "I love you, Regina."
No matter how many times they've said that to each other already, everytime it was special and brought crazy butterflies to Regina's stomach. They never took those three words lightly; they knew pretty well the height and the strong meaning they carried. But they felt free to speak these words to each other because it was completely what they felt inside.
"Well," Regina was touched, as usual, by his words, but she couldn't help but play with him. "I hope so, because you're going to marry me today."
"Lucky me for being deeply in love with the woman I'm going to be married with." he said and by the tone of his voice it was easy, again, for Regina to realize that he was smiling. "Why, would you force me to marry you even if I didn't love you?"
"I don't know. Maybe. That's a very interesting question." she teased and then lowered her voice. "You have quite the body…" she bit her lower lip.
"Oh" he laughed out loud. "So it's all physical then? You're harming my heart, milady."
"Sorry to break it to you, thief." she played along.
"God, I love how full of hormones you're."
"Really? You didn't seem to like much when I asked you to buy caramel apple for me at three in the morning."
"It was bloody three in the morning!" he defended himself. "But seeing your big smile after I came back with what you wanted was worth it."
Her smile grew even more and she said with her voice mere above a whisper, just for him to hear. "You're so sweet and so good to me. I love you too, Robin."
"You deserve every little thing I do for you." he said and Regina saw Snow gesturing to her to hang up.
Regina sighed and said "Robin, Snow is telling me to hang up. I have to go."
"Ok then. Hook will bring Henry to your house in a few minutes. I'll see you at the altar, my beautiful bride."
Regina felt excitement fall upon her and her heart started to beat faster. She smiled, said that she couldn't wait and she playfully added "You better be there. I don't want to walk in an empty aisle." He laughed and answered her with "I'll see what I can do about that." and then they hung up.
They dress took more fifteen minutes to be ready, the exact time it took for Henry to arrive at her house. Emma opened the door and found Henry and her love side by side, and she hugs her son and then rushes to kiss Killian's lips and Henry go inside to find his other mom. It was a very, very good thing Regina hadn't applied make up yet, because in the moment she saw him wearing a suit and a tie her eyes immediately got tearful.
"Henry." She whispered in awe, walking closer to him smiling and running a hand though his hair once she's in front of him.
"Don't get emotional mom," he smiled. "You see me in a suit everytime I go to work at Gold's pawnshop."
She said nothing and pulled him in for a hug, noticing again how fast he was growing as her chin fit perfectly on his shoulder without her having to get down a little. She felt tears sparkling in her eyes. Indeed she has seen Henry in a suit and tie many times before, but this is a special occasion, and she answers just that in Henry's ears in a low voice.
"Besides," she completed her answer "It's my wedding day and I'm pregnant, so I'm allowed to cry all I want."
She lifted her head from his shoulder, standing back just a little to look him in the eyes and ruffled his hair, his smile growing.
"Well, I suppose I can't argue with that." he said and took her mom's hands in his. "But enough about me. Look at you mom," he said looking down and up to her "You look spectacular, the most beautiful bride ever."
Regina sweetly thanked him, pushing him for another hug.
"The kid's right, you know. You really look gorgeous, Regina." Emma said leaned on the door with a smile on her face, watching her friend and Henry's share of affection.
Regina's long dress was made of white silk and her sleeves were purely made of lace. In her back, it had a design of a transparent feather. Feather always made her remind of her father, and having that symbol in her dress kind of makes her feel like he's there with her. She was wearing a pearly earring that her mother bought her in the short time they had together in Storybrooke.
"Thanks, Emma." Regina smiled and Emma and Snow started to work on her makeup.
Minutes later David, who was at the church taking care of last-min things, called to Snow and said that Robin and everyone was already there. When they were ready to go, Regina asked if Henry was ready to walk into the church with her, and he stuffed his chest and proudly said that he was more than ready. They went to the church together in a white limousine driven by a chauffeur. All hired and planned by Snow. She organized everything with Robin and didn't let Regina know any detail of the wedding. Snow said she didn't want Regina to worry, plus the whole thing would be a surprise for her.
Snow, Emma and Hook left the limo when they got in the church, and before she left Snow told her to wait with Henry in there. Soon Snow was back with Roland. The small one's chin fell when he saw Regina, and he pressed his hands in front of his face in surprise, smiling.
"Gina! You look so beautiful!" Roland beamed, incapable keeping his excitement to himself.
He lifted up his hands to help Regina to leave the big car and she smiled brightly.
"If you keep being such a gentleman to me, I might want to leave your father for you." Regina said playfully, accepting Roland's hand and getting out of the car.
"Nooo, don't do that." Roland said making a sad face. "You make daddy happy. I don't want to take you away from him."
Regina giggled and said that his daddy makes her very happy too.
"Roland, you remember what you have to do right?" Snow asked giving Roland a cushion with two wedding rings upon it.
"Yes." he nodded. "As soon as the wedding march begins, I have to walk inside, in front of Regina, and then I have to stop at uncle Will's side."
"Good boy. That's exactly what you have to do." Snow confirmed smiling, and gave a bouquet of flowers to Regina. "I'll go back inside and tell them to start the wedding march."
Regina agreed and Snow left, disappearing inside the church. A few seconds later the front door of the church opened and the wedding march began.
She crossed her arms with Henry's and walked at the rhythm of the song. Snow was right, again. The first time she was able to spot Robin standing next to the priest, he was all she could focus on. Her eyes locked with his, and her smile mirrored the big one he had in his face. As she got in the middle of the way, she was losing her patience and the only thing stopping her from running to Robin was the grip Henry had in her arm. Roland stopped right where he was told to, Regina gave the bouquet to Emma and Henry literally conceded her hands to Robin and the ceremony began.
"We are gathered here together to celebrate the union of Regina Mills and Robin of Lockslay." the priest said, and then Robin entwined his hands with hers and she looked to him, unable to pay attention on whatever the priest was saying. They smiled to one another and then they looked back to the priest, he kept talking, but all they could focus on was the feeling of their fingers brushing each other.
"It's not a secret that this couple is soul mate," Regina and Robin started to pay attention at the priest at the word soul mate. "Because of that, I prepared something different. I searched in the internet for meanings of soul mate. I hope you like it."
The priest took a paper in his hand, put his glasses in the right place and started to read the paper.
"A soulmate is person with whom you have an immediate connection the moment you meet: a connection so strong that you are drawn to them in a way you have never experienced before. As this connection develops over time, you experience a love so deep, strong and complex, that you begin to doubt that you have ever truly loved anyone prior. Your soulmate connects with you in every way and on every level, which brings a sense of peace, calmness and happiness when you are around them. And when you are not around them, you are all that much more aware of the harshness of life, and how bonding with another person in this way is the most significant and satisfying thing you will experience in your lifetime. You are also all that much aware of the beauty in life, because you have been given a great gift and will always be thankful. A soulmate is someone who has locks that fit our keys, and keys to fit our locks. When we feel safe enough to open the locks, our truest selves step out and we can be completely and honestly who we are. Is a person with whom one has a strong affinity, shared values and tastes, someone who will make you be the most you that you can possibly be. Makes you feel entirely whole, healed and intact. They generally have been on the same path as you and have a similar past, and that's why they can understand and comprehend you, the real you, in a way no one else can."
When the priest finished, he was going to ask if that was true, if it matched with what the couple felt, but he didn't need to say a word. The tearful eyes and silly smiles they were throwing at one another said it all. The ceremony continued normally, and then it was the glorious time of exchanging the vows.
"Lady's first." the priest said and Roland left Will's side and walked to Regina as fast as he could with his tiny legs and lifted the cushion with the wedding rings upon it.
"Thank you so much, Roland." he smiled, she stroked his cheeks, took one ring in her hands and turned to Robin. She took a deep breath, and opened her mouth to say the speech she prepared for this moment.
"I always thought that kind of love that makes you feel like your heart is going to explode with so much love, that love that steals your every thought and makes you smiles just because of a memory, only happens once in life." she started., looking right into his eyes "But you, Robin, showed me that I was wrong. That it was possible to feel these things again. You changed for the better the way I see things, you changed my whole life. You've got that way, a way of making everything alright. The way you hold me tight, the way you say my name, the way your eyes shines, even in the dark, looking at me with so much love. Somehow you got me to believe in everything I could be. You make me feel comfortable to be myself, more than that, you encourage me to be myself and you can't imagine how important that is to me. I've learned that sometimes the hardest person to forgive is yourself, and you've helped me a lot to forgive myself for… everything I've done. You made me realize that it's in the past. Your hugs have the power of healing every pain I feel. You understand my darkness as well as you understands my light. You see me as I am and you still love me anyway, and for that I'm forever grateful."
Tears fell down her cheeks and she felt overwhelmed with emotions, good emotions, and he lifted his hands and used his thumb to wipe the tears off her face. She laid her head in his hand and then she straightened herself and said the last part.
"I, Regina Mills, take you Robin of Lockslay as my husband, my best friend, my faithful partner, my lover." she said with a loud but trembling voice as she slowly let the ring slip through his finger. "I promise to cherish and respect you, to care and to always be there to comfort you. I promise to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health and I promise to be faithful to you until death parts us."
A tear fell down his cheek, and then another tear, and Regina sobbed lowly. This was actually happening. This was real. She was getting married with the man who held no only her heart, but her body and her entire soul. And as incredible as may sound, he loved her back. He trusted her with his heart, body and soul just as much as she trusted him. She smiled, wiping the tears from his face and the priest said it was his turn to say his vows. Robin nodded and took the ring Roland was handing it over for him.
"Thank you, my boy." Robin smiled and patted his son hair.
He turned to Regina, took a deep breath, cleared his throat and he began his speech.
"Since the first time I laid my eyes on you I knew there was something special about you. I felt this need to be closer to you, to get to know you better. I could feel that that was the right thing to do. It felt right, natural. Like breathing. I wasn't looking for anyone, I wasn't looking for love, and love wasn't crossing my mind. But you came along, with your unique way, your sharp tongue and your giant generous heart. You brought a light to my life I didn't know it was missing; as cliche as it may sound you're the missing piece to my puzzle. You always find a way to make each and everyday special in some way. As long as you're by my side, right by my side, I know I'll be ok. Your smile warms my heart and it's one of the most important things to me. You're so exceptional, so pure and so kind and I think you have yet to really realize that, and I'm not going to stop saying it until you believe in that and can completely see how beautiful you're inside and out. You're the best surprise, the best gift life has ever given me and I'll always wonder how I got so lucky to be able to call you mine. I eagerly anticipate the chance to grow with you."
He stood in silence for a moment, just taking in her beauty, and then finished it.
"I, Robin of Lockslay, take you, Regina Mills, to be my wedded wife. I promise to love you unconditionally, to support you in your goals, to honor and respect you as your own person, to laugh with you when times are good and endure with you when they are bad. I promise to ask of you no more than you can give." he said as he placed the ring on her finger. "I promise to stand by your side, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health and I promise to be faithful to you until death do us apart."
These were the kindest and romantic words someone has ever said to her. She blinked, letting the tears fall as an immense smile appeared on her face, the same look on his face.
"I now pronounce you husband and wife" she heard the priest say. "You may now kiss the bride."
He cupped her cheeks and then sealed his lips with hers, enveloping her in his arms and turning her, his kiss deepening. She lifted her hands and caressed his face, and then they heard the whole church yelling "Yesss" and they fell apart, blushing.
After taking a few pictures, they all headed to Granny's. Snow planned the party to be there, and the old wolf took out most of the chairs and table to open a huge space for a beautiful dance floor with a mirror disco ball in the middle. How Snow convinced that woman to do something like that with her place, it's unknown to Regina. They took more pictures, mostly Snow taking pictures of everyone and everything, and then David announces that it's time for the newlyweds to have their first dance. Robin agreed with him, taking off his suit and lifting one of his hands for Regina to take. She shyly accepted his hands and they went to the middle of the dance floor.
Sure, Regina perfectly knows how to dance. Her mother made sure she had some dance lessons. She said a queen should always be ready for a classic dance. During the time she was married to the King, she was obligated to dance with him and with others men too. But this was the very first time she was going to dance with someone she deeply loved. And she was nervous.
A song by Carter Burwell started playing. He brought her closer and placed his hands around her waist. She placed her arms around neck and laid her head in the crock of his neck. She felt him lowering his head and burying his nose in her hair. They swung from side to side slowly at the dance floor, and it seems incredible easy dancing with him. She took in his smell and let him lead the way. His hands moved to her lower back and she lift her hand to look at him in the eyes. Her eyes locked with his and the light shined on her face, making her eyes and her smile seems even brighter. He leaned in, placed a long kiss in her lips and she sighed contently. Soon the music was over, and other couples joined them at the dance floor.
They danced some more, changing the pairs from time to time. Regina danced with Henry, David and Hook, and Robin danced with Belle, Snow and Emma. Roland appeared on the dance floor hand in hand with Ruby, saying that he wanted to dance too and Regina grinned, lowering to take him in her arms. She took one of his little hands in hers and they danced a song together, just the two of them, and them Robin joined them, dancing with Roland in the middle of them. After a few dances, Roland said he was hungry and Little John offered to feed him and they left. Robin was dancing with Regina, losing the count of how many dances they had already danced together when he glances at the watch in his wrist and said that he wanted to make sure Roland was well fed. Regina smiled, once again noticing what a good father he is and she nods, getting out of the dance floor with him.
They see Roland sitting on Little John's lap, putting a forkful in his mouth. Robin smiles at the sight and then Little John gets up so Robin can take his seat and Robin thanked him. Robin seats and places Roland in his lap, Regina seats in front of them and he runs a hand over his son's hair.
"Daddy, I have a question for you." Roland said while chewing.
"Say it, my boy."
"I have seen you crying today. Why were you crying? Aren't you happy to be with Gina?" he asked, sincerely curious.
"Of course I'm happy to be with her", he answered staring lovingly at Regina's eyes. "Sometimes you feel so happy, so grateful, that tears of joy leaves your eyes. And that's what happened with me today." he explained.
Roland mumbled in understanding and went back to focus on his food. Later, they cut the delicious Red Velvet cake and after they ate it, Snow said it was time for Regina to throw her bouquet of flowers. Regina threw it and Emma held it and she shared smiles with her pirate. They kept eating and talking, and then Emma and Snow pushed Regina to the Granny's bathroom and said it was time for her to get changed for honeymoon. Regina rolled her eyes and nodded. Snow planned with Robin the honeymoon too, and she didn't know to where they'd go and that annoyed her but at the same time excited her. She couldn't deny Snow and Robin did a great job with the wedding. She liked the flowers, the food, and everything they picked.
Snow told Regina; few weeks ago, to pack a bag for one week for her honeymoon, and Regina asked her how she was supposed to pack something if she didn't to where she was going. Snow shrugged and told her to just put everything that made her feel comfortable and just one fancy dress.
She got changed to a black pants and a short-sleeved striped blouse. She took her necessaries with her things on it, brushed her teeth, splashed some perfume on herself and released her hair from the bun it was on. She took her hairbrush and brushed her hair and she closed her necessaries with she was done. She left the bathroom and saw that Robin got changed too. He was now wearing a different pant and a plain royal blue polo shirt. David said that their things were all in the car and they should get going they didn't wait to be late. Robin and Regina said goodbye to everyone, Snow promising once again that she was going to take good care of Roland and Henry, and David drove them to the international airport of Portland, the nearest airport of Storybrooke.
David hugged Regina, gave a pat at Robin's shoulder and left them after they made the check in.
I have to admit that writing this chapter made ME want to get married, haha. I was going to put the honeymoon part on this chapter too, but I didn't write it yet, and it's already such a long chapter... so I'll slipt this chapter in two. There'll be more two chapters of this story, and I'll be definitely updating the next chapter next Saturday ;) So, that's it. I hope you liked this chapter as much as I loved writing it. Please tell me your thoughts, leave me a review or tweet me on my twitter inlovewithlanap ❤
