Sorry for the wait but I think this chapter was worth it.
April's POV
When I walked back through the curtain I was met with a nice round of applause. I just smiled and mouthed 'thank yous' to them. After that I looked at the monitor and it's showing the replays of what happened at the end of our match, and just like I imagined that kiss was captured perfectly on camera. But what I want to see is the photos from ringside because one of them has to have one where the light whites out our surroundings and it's just us in the middle of the ring. After that finished it showed the clips it showed Zivile standing in the middle of the ring. She's just standing there staring at the screen in disbelief as she ran her hand through her hair. But it's weird because she only ever does that when she is confused or frustrated... I think she felt it too. I sure fucking hope so because that'd make this night even more perfect. After a few seconds of standing there she let out a sigh and climbed out the ring headed up the ramp. Seconds later she emerged from the curtains.
"I think we killed it out there." I lightly grinned as I walked up to her and hugged her. "There's no way that didn't deserve five stars."
"You're telling me you really had that hold locked in. I thought you were going to rip my arm out the socket." She protested. I just giggled and let her go.
"Sorry I guess I got a bit excited. Besides I needed you to tap so I could win."
"And don't think I'm going to let you off with that. I didn't tap, you tapped out. So if anything that belt right there is mine." She said in an angry tone.
"I don't know what you're talking about." I said simply looking away.
"Keep it up and I'll make you wish you didn't." She growled as we began to leave the gorilla and headed toward the locker room I assume.
"I'm innocent until proven guilty." I grinned. I dunno that kiss put me in a good mood. "Are you going to the after party later? I know most of the locker room is going." I asked. I need to know if it's going to be worth my time getting sexy for her. I don't want to get all dressed up only to be let down.
"Nah. I'm not really in the mood, plus I have a massive headache from all those head kicks. Why are you?" She asked looking at me before grabbing a water bottle from a random case sitting on a crate.
"Headache!? I think you practically fractured my spine. It hurts to bend over. I'm going to my room and taking a long hot shower before going to bed." I said honestly getting her to chuckle.
"Well that's nothing compared to being put through a vending machine. Only to be beat mercilessly with a kendo stick in the same spot two weeks later."
"Touchè. But it's all for the fans." It was then that we made it to the Divas locker room.

"But I wouldn't have it any other way." She nodded in agreement with that. "Anyway I guess I'll see you tomorrow or something." I spoke softly not really wanting her to go.
"Yeah I can't wait to see what happens next in this crazy story."
"Well I guess we have to wait and see."
"Yeah." She murmured looking anywhere but at me. What's going on in her head? I wish I knew but I don't.
"Yup... Well goodnight Zivile."
"Goodnight April." She smiled before going in the locker room. I waited for the door to close before I walked away. That felt really awkward knowing something is troubling her and I don't know what. I dunno maybe I'm just overthinking it. Yea I'm just tired that's all, I just need some sleep. And that's exactly where I'm headed.
Thirty minutes later at the hotel
As usual tradition everyone stayed until final bell before we could go. It didn't take long for me to get back to the hotel. When I got there I wasted no time undressing and getting in the shower. Layla is going out to the after party so I watched her scramble to get ready. She tried to convince me to go because it would be good for me to get out but I told her I was tired and I would next time. Really all I want to do is look at all the clips and photos from my match to see how cool it looked. Also to see who captured the money shot.
It's almost one am now. Lay left roughly half an hour ago, I'm not sure when she'll be back but I hope she'll be okay getting back. Then again I know Lay would never go out and get blackout drunk. Especially since she's married and has a daughter who looks up to her. Plus she is way too proper to do something so foolish like that. None to mention she loves her job and she's at the point in her wrestling career that at anytime they could decide not to renew her contract. Lay is the oldest Diva on the roster right now so one slip up and it could and all go down the drain. To be honest I have no fear because she is still here so she must be doing something right. It's probably because everyone loves Layla, none to mention she looks younger than most of us divas. How she does is beyond me but I guess there must have been something in the water back in Engla-

My phone hasn't sang me that song in months. Hell there's only one person who has that song set for when they call me. Ha it's our song and it brings a tear to my eye thinking of the day she declared it our song. Zivile is calling me. Why? I waited a few seconds before I answered.
"Hello?" I said softly.
"Ummm... What are you doing right now?" She asked shyly.
"Nothing just bored out of my mind." I answered honestly.
"Oh... Well I managed to connect my computer to the TV and I was wondering if maybe you wanted to watch a movie or two with me?" I'm very confused about her question. Is she being serious right now? I actually don't care it's not very often she calls me asking to hang out so of course I'm going to go.
"Yea sure I have nothing better to do. Give me ten minutes."
"Okay see you then." And with that I hung up and jumped out of bed. I need to run down to the store in the hotel and grab a couple snacks to munch on. So I quickly threw on a shirt and rushed down there good thing for 24-hour service. Once I finished up there I rushed up to her room. I don't know what to expect but I'm just happy to be spending time with her. It's crazy how slow the elevators move when you're in a hurry. It eventually made it to the right floor only not as fast as I would have liked it to have been. I managed to cool my nerves during the walk to her room. We are only hanging out as friends nothing more nothing less.. I have to keep my hands to myself no shenanigans. Once there I took a deep breath before knocking, a few seconds later the door opened and so I walked in. All the lights were off besides the lamp next to her bed and the TV. "Don't mind the mess I lost the remote and I couldn't find it." I heard from behind me.
"It's fine I didn't even notice." I giggled a bit. "I got some snacks incase we got hungry." I said as I sat down on the bed and she stood in front of me. "It's not much but it's something." She then took the bag from me and turned on all the lights. Damn it I really wish she didn't because all it did was make my heart speed up a bit. She's only wearing a bra and a pair of shorts. Her hair is pulled back in a messy bun and I think she looks so sexy like that. She must have washed her hair and let it air dry because some of it is curly. Her hair is mostly straight but some parts are also curly it's not that noticeable to most. I know because I spent about four months getting the opportunity to study her closely.
"Well it is much because I'm actually craving chocolate so that's good." She said pulling out the Twix bar. Then she turned off the light and walked over to the bed. "Is there any genre in specific that you wanted to watch or are we just going to go with the flow and see what happens?" She asked pulling her laptop onto her lap.
"Umm it's whatever you want I guess. It's Netflix so I'm sure we'll find a good one." I murmured kicking off my shoes and climbing to the top of the bed. She just nodded and began to search through the movie titles. I always let her choose what we watch because I don't ever like fighting with her. Besides I know we are going to end up watching a horror thriller or something along those lines. She's more into the lesser known movies that seem boring but are really good, and I like that.
"What about this? It's called The Mist." She asked looking back at me.
"What's it about?"
"It's about a town that has a freak storm that covers it completely in mist. But the mist has weird monsters in it and stuff. I dunno it has four out of five stars." She spoke looking back at me.
"Okay sounds good to me." I shrugged. So she clicked play and sat her laptop on the table next to the TV. Then walked up to the opposite side of the bed and climbed in under the covers. She then looked at me and tugged on the blanket.
"Get off the blanket you're making it really hard to get comfy." She demanded nicely. I didn't question her I just momentarily unfolded my legs and got under the blanket also. I went back to sitting pretzel style because I'm scared to lay down with her laying like that next to me. Today has already been pretty confusing at some points so if something were to happen right now I'm not sure what I'd do. But I doubt it will happen so I'm just going to chill for now. Also because I was texting Roni before she called me and I in no way need her to know who I'm texting.
It was cute because it was earlier today that Roni sent me a picture of a cake that I guess she must have made just for me. I don't remember what kind of cake she said it was but that's irrelevant because it looked so awesome. It was a black cake and it was completely covered in a spider web design. Then on the web was a Black widow spider with the Divas Championship on. She even put my signature Aj Lee in a pink heart symbol on it, with the words 'I cheer for crazy chicks! Good Luck Aj' frosted on it in pink. I dunno why but seeing she took time out of her life to make that cake for me was really cool, and it made me see how awesome of a person she is. But at the same time I was sad because it looked really good and I know how well she bakes so I already know it was good. All it did was make me want a cupcake specifically one made by Roni. Thinking about her this way makes me miss her and her stupidly funny jokes. They were all so corny but she's really adorable and I couldn't help but laugh with her. Fuck now I really do miss her...
"Okay seriously are you going to sit like that the entire time? Because it's making the bed uneven and I don't like it." Oh shit I forgot I was watching a movie with her. What's going on with me tonight?
"Oh yeah you're right my fault." I murmured before I unfolded my legs and laid down. "There happy now?"
"Yes thank you." She smiled. I miss her smile it looks good on her. Anyway when I turned back to the movie it was some guys fending off these giant tentacles. Now I wish I was kinda paying attention to the movie because I want to know what happened to get here. Oh well I can always watch it again sometime later... Actually never mind that because those tentacles are really scary looking and one just took a chunk out of a guy's leg.
"Zi what the fuck do you have me watching?" I screeched as one of the tentacles grabbed the guy and dragged him into the mist. She's just laughing at me.
"It's not that bad you'll be fine. Come here." She smirked before pulling me into her grasp. "See now the tentacles won't get you." I feel a lot better now that I'm in her arms. If anything I have this warm fuzzy feeling in my stomach and I don't think it's going to go away for a long time. What's it going to take to make her realize that this is our future. I just want her to want me again just like old times, even if it's for five minutes I think I'll be happy with that.
"Of course of all movies you had to choose a scary one." I complained she knows I don't like scary movies. She just chuckled.
"It's not even scary." I seriously will never understand her sense of humor and what's scary to her. I mean if giant mutant tentacles grabbed my foot I'm pretty sure I'd shit my pants then probably pass out. It's whatever though I'm not even really paying attention to the movie because I'm still texting Roni. We aren't talking about anything important we're just talking just to talk like we always do. We talk about anything and everything. It will go from how our days went to our favorite movie, to childhood memories, to why it is stars shine. So I guess you can say there's never a dull conversation between us because there's always something to talk about. She is a very interesting person. Maybe I'll go visit her sometime soon she is truly one of a kind. "You know I don't think she's going to go anywhere."
"Huh?"
"Roni. You've been texting her ever since you got here. What's was the point of you coming to watch a movie with me if you're just going to text the whole time?" She ranted, but sounds to me like somebody might be a little jealous.
"No what are you talking about I am watching." I responded as I finished sending a message and closed my phone. She then unwrapped her arms from around me.
"No you weren't I watched you the whole time." Well good thing we are still talking about the cake she made me earlier. She said she put it out on display at the bakery and it was gone an hour later. Something about how a little girl and her dad walked in to pick up a birthday cake and she instantly recognized the logo. After a temper tantrum and puppy dog eyes, they ended up leaving with two birthday cakes. Seriously I love all my fans they are so awesome.
"I wasn't texting the whole time. I saw the part with the giant tentacles remember?" I said all knowingly.
"Okay so then where are they going?" I don't even know but from what I can tell I guess they decided to finally leave. I heard something about a pharmacy and dying but I haven't the slightest clue.
"They are leaving to go do some stuff to survive." I assumed. She just sighed.
"Like I said you aren't even watching." She then turned so her back was facing me. Why does she all of a suddenly care if I'm paying attention to things or not. But now I feel bad because I did say I'd watch a movie with her.
"No come on don't be that way I'm sorry I'll stop. See look I'm turning it off." I said sincerely as I grabbed her hip and turned her to face me again. I then turned it off and set it to the side. "What is she to you then?" She asked looking me in the eye. Why would she care? But if she wants to know I'm not going to lie to her.
"I dunno to be honest we only met roughly a month ago. I wouldn't say we're exclusive or anything like that just talking I guess." I shrugged. But this doesn't feel right, trying to explain my status with Roni to Zivile when in actuality Zi is the only woman I want. "I mean I like her and she likes me but I don't know entirely how I feel about her yet. She has a lot of qualities that I like. For instance she can cook and you know how happy food makes me, she's so funny sometimes, she is really sweet to me even when I'm being a jerk to her. Oh and when she smiles she has little dimples on her chin and it's so adorable, they're like cheek dimples but they are on her chin. Oh did I tell you she took me paintballing on our first date? Well she did and I don't think I've ever had that much fun in one night. At first I thought it was crazy but when we got there it looked so cool and the sight of paintballs whizzing by is so awesome. Somehow she talked me into playing and I loved it. I guess it's just the thought of getting to shoot people and not getting arrested for it that makes it work. Although I think it was those damn eyes of hers. It took me a while to notice but her eyes change color, so one day they'll be hazel, the next blue, then suddenly brown. Hands down she has the most beautiful eyes I've ev-" before I could finish I was interrupted by a set of lips colliding with mine. I'm not sure why but I'm not going to complain so I kissed her back. But if I had to guess I think she might be a little bit jealous. Since we're here I might as well make her even more mad, so I pulled away and kept talking. "You don't get it her eyes are so addicting so when we FaceTime I find myself getting lost in them. I love it but I hate it so much because she knows she has pretty eyes and she's-" Just like before she crashed her lips into mine only this time she climbed on top of me and pinned me down. Sorry for the month long wait but this month was super busy for me being I started stage crew again for my school play.
