Zivile's POV backstage after losing the title
"Babe?" I heard Zack speak softly of to the side of me. "If it helps I think you did a great job out there."
"Well obviously it wasn't good enough if I'm not champion still. Were you even watching the match!?" I snapped. "That was all complete and total bullshit! They fucking set me up for failure. How dare they make me wrestle two matches one after another!?" I can't help myself I'm pissed off. "That shouldn't have even counted because it wasn't even a scheduled match."
"Well you did accept her challenge. So technically it-" I just glared at him getting him to stop talking.
"Who's side are you on? Hey fuck it why don't we all just hop on the Aj train! Yeah we've all been waiting so fucking long for her to come back, let's all just cheer for her. Fuck Aksana right? I'm your girlfriend but fuck it you can cheer for Aj if you want. Hey do you wanna go cheer for the Bella's too?!" I ranted angrily. "Don't follow me." I spoke simply not looking at him before walking off down the hall. I really can't believe he even started to say what he was going to say. Ha I swear it seems everyone is all for Aj coming back. Like are we even sure that she was supposed to return tonight anyway? This isn't even fair I'm so done with today. All my hard work trying to prove why I belong where I am wasted down the drain in the matter of three seconds. It's already bad enough I'm practically Aj's servant and now she took my title too! Hell no I'll be damned if they think I'm not going to complain.
So with that I'm headed to Steph because this isn't fair. I don't care about all the looks I'm getting right now as I walk down the halls. If anyone interrupts me I swear I'm going to snap. The last thing I need right now is-
"Aksana hey do you have a minute?" I heard off in front me. Of course it's Renee, it just had to be. I'm in no mood for a goddamn interview. "Aksana?!" I just kept walking. I love Renee I do she's a sweet girl but I'm in no mood to deal with her. I know she's just doing her job but I don't feel like it right now. "What's going through your mind after what just happened?" Then there was a camera in my face. Before I could think about it I grabbed the camera and pushed it out of my face.
"Move!" I growled as I kept trudging past them. It's like this company lives to piss me off. I'm trying my best not to lose my composure because I like my job. I don't even know what I want to do right now because thinking about it maybe it's not a good idea to go talk to my boss when I'm pissed off like this. I just need a few minutes to myself to find my composure and then I should be good. It's a good thing that the people backstage know for the most part not to mess with me when I'm mad. It only took one guy to try and talk to me after I was cheated out of a win for everyone to realize it. So it was a quiet walk for me back to my locker room.
When I got in there it was exactly the same as how I left it. Part of me wants to pretend today didn't happen and that I'm still champion, but another part of me wants me to destroy everything that isn't nailed down, and if it is nailed down blow it up. Then there is the last half of me that says relax, eat, take a shower, then go to bed. To be honest I don't want to do any of that I just want to punch someone in the face. Unfortunately I don't think anyone would willingly volunteer, so I guess I'm just going to try and pretend today didn't happen. With that being said I went into the bathroom and began to put all my makeup into my bag. I didn't dare look in the mirror because I don't want to make myself more mad and slightly disappointed. But just like every normal being you can't walk past a mirror and not accidentally catch a glimpse of your reflection. I already saw a glimpse so I might as well just look.
Staring at myself in my reflection was a bad idea because it made me realize just how fucked up my current position is right now. Today I accidentally ran into my ex's girlfriend who before I even knew who she was insulted me. Like she has some serious guts saying that to me when she doesn't even know me. If I wasn't champ when she said that I probably would have defended myself a lot better than I did. But I think I made my point when I pretty much took out all my emotions from that altercation later on Aj. I dunno for some reason it was very gratifying beating up Aj in front of her like that though. To my demise that cockiness lead me to lose my championship during an unscheduled match. It's ironic too. All my most recent worst moments that have occurred during a taping just so happened to involve Aj and someone she messed around with. First it was finding out she cheated on me from Punk, then her stealing my title belt from me in front of her new girlfriend. And now here I am trying not to lose my temper. Today started off fine and then Aj decides to just randomly show up again after being m.i.a for about three months causing everything to hit the fan. It seems nothing ever goes right for me when she's around these days.
Then again I guess that's just life for you, it knocked me down and I gotta pick myself up again. I'm not sure what my next move is going to be but I will get that belt back. The hunt is on and I'm out for revenge and redemption. I wouldn't be this mad about everything had Aj's friend not talked to me today. All that did was make me mad so I'm not going to feel too bad about hurting Aj in our future battles. No that's a lie... I dunno it's probably best if I just stop thinking because it's not making sense anymore. Exiting the bathroom I searched through my bag for something to put on over top of my ring gear. I'll change when I get to the room I just want to get the hell out of here.
"I don't know what you're plan is here but you won't make it out the venue if you don't have a ride." I heard off from behind me.
"I could have sworn I told you to stay away from me." I spat not turning to look at him.
"You did and I choose not to listen to you. Besides I just got done talking to Hunter and I know something you might want to hear." He chimed.
"Zack whatever game you're trying to play I don't want any part of. So just give me the car keys and leave me alone." I spoke in as calm of a voice I could manage right now.
"I don't think so darling." He smirked. All it's doing is making me more mad, so I walked up to him. Fine if he won't give it to me I'll just take it. Without hesitation I crashed my lips to his and wrapped my arms around his waist. Once I felt I had him in my grasp I deepened the kiss to make sure it works. I then gingerly began to search through his pockets. Suddenly he started laughing and pulled away. "Looking for something!?" He smiled dangling the keys in front of my face. "Come on babe I'm from Long Island the girls up there would try that on me all the time. It never worked then and it isn't going to work now."
"Gah! Gimme the keys right now!" I growled.
"No, not until you stop being a jerk."
"Zack!"
"Aksana!" He growled back. I swear he chooses the worst times to play these stupid games. So I just stood back and glared at him. "Damn you're so hot when you look at me like that." He growled in a low voice with a stupid smirk. It's just adding to my annoyance. "Are you done now? Can I tell you what I need to tell you?"
"Fine." I spoke simply with no emotion. He only moved past me and began to gather his things completely ignoring me. "Well?"
"Huh?" I swear he is such an idiot sometimes. It's hard to tell if he's being serious or just kidding.
"What did you need to tell me?" I questioned.
"Oh... I dunno you kissed me and then I forgot what I wanted to tell you." He spoke turning back to finish gathering his stuff. "You should probably just come with me and maybe that way I'll remember. I'm headed to the hotel, you're welcome to come if you want."
"What is your purpose in life anymore?"
"That's a good question, it's probably to love you even when you're so mean to me. You should probably kiss me again that way I can make sure my guess is right. I know I'm right I just want to kiss you." He grinned wrapping an arm around my waist. I want to be mad at him but I couldn't help but blush a bit at it. I am mean to him sometimes for no real good reason and never once has he got mad at me for it. He handles my mood swings pretty well and I love that about him. Most people just leave me alone when I'm mad but not him.. He annoys me even more until I forget what I was mad about in the first place.
"God you're such an idiot!" I whined.
"Awe come here, gimme a kiss." He spoke in a weird high pitched voice.
"No stop with that voice it's annoying." I groaned trying to push him off me. He just tightened his grip and leaned in to kiss me.
"Why don't you like my sexy voice?" He complained again in the same voice.
"Stop." I giggled a little. He's such a goof.
"Gimme a kiss woman!" And with that he used his free hand to grab my cheeks and turn my head to face him. He then proceeded to press his lips to mine. I tried to fight him but there's no point I won't win here so I stopped fighting him and gave in to him. "Okay now can you please pack up your stuff so we can go?"
"I don't like you." I pouted.
"Yeah okay. Anyway come on let's go woman, I'm tired. Chop! Chop! I refuse to be in these stupid clothes any longer, I want my Zubaz." Like I said he's such an idiot but I wouldn't change it for the world. So I simply pulled away from him and finished packing my stuff. I'm still hurt by the fact I was robbed of my championship earlier, but Zack makes it hurt slightly less. He's always been my pain reliever and I love that about us. He's always there for me when I need a shoulder to cry on and I'll always be there for him when he needs me.
The next morning
"Good morning my beautiful." I heard whispered in my ear. I then felt a light kiss on my shoulder, followed by a trail of kisses down my collarbone, and up my neck. "Wake up sleepy head."
"Stop babe I'm trying to sleep." I whined being I'm really tired. When we got back to the room last night I made the mistake of letting him shower with me. One thing lead to another and now here we are both laying in bed naked.
"I know but I just can't stop thinking about you. I just.." He trailed off before going back to kissing my neck. "You're just so sexy."
"Zack quit it." I mumbled. But that didn't stop him from flipping me to my back.
"I'll be quick just let me admire your beautiful body." He pleaded slowly running his fingers up and down my side. "I just can't get over that fact that you're all mine."
"Oh really!?"
"Yeah really everything about you is perfect to me. And who am I to not admire this diamond laying beside me." Zack might not look like it but he is very smooth with his words. "I love you and I just love expressing it to you." Hearing that I had to kiss him. I don't feel like it right now but he's been so good to me so it's the least I could do.
"Oh you better not make me regret waking up for this." I purred. He just smiled and pressed his lips to mine.
"Zackie never disappoints." He growled in a low voice, plus add to that his voice is kinda raspy being he probably woke up a little while ago. Next he began to once again attack my neck with kisses and light bites. All the while his hands are caressing my sides.
*buzz buzz*
"What the hell!" I complained being that's my phone buzzing signaling a phone call.
"Fuck'em they can wait." Spoke Zack before cupping one of my breast earning him a slight growl.
"What if it's Steph?" She could be calling to talk to me about the storyline now that Aj is back.
"She can wait." To be honest just thinking about the storyline kinda ruined the mood for me. I mean it's not fair that I'm practically Aj's bitch for who knows how long.
"Yeah but I can't." And with that I reached over and grabbed my phone and answered it. "Hello?"
"Oh shit I'm sorry did I wake you?" Of course it's Aj calling me right now.
"No not really..." I murmured.
"Who is it?" Whispered Zack. I didn't say anything I just showed him the screen. He rolled his eyes and pouted.
"Oh okay. Well I feel kinda bad about last night. It wasn't fair to you and I was thinking that I should make it up to you. So I was thinking we could do lunch together today." She spoke in a hopeful tone. To be honest Aj is probably one of the last people I want to see today. Yeah I know I'm going to have to see her eventually but it's just the thought of it. "I know I'm probably the last person you want to talk to right now, but we're going to basically be stuck together at the hip for the next month or so. I just feel like we should get this all out of the air now and not have to worry about it later."
"I don't know if that'd be such a great idea with the storyline and stuff." I'm not sure if I want to go or not.
"No actually one of Roni's dad's business partners owns an Italian restaurant not to far from here, and they have VIP seating so we won't have to deal with any fans. Really what I'm saying is it's a free meal and if you want you can bring Zack. We can make it a double date between the four of us." Damn it I forgot about her little friend. I'm not so sure if I want to go anywhere she's going. But the part that caught my interest is the fact that she encouraged me to bring Zack. Everything about this just screams trouble but I want to go. I want to redeem myself from Aj's friend talking to me the way she was.
"Alright but I'm only coming for the free food." I spoke nonchalantly.
"Okay cool. I'll text you the time and address. I gotta go Roni is rushing me because she wants another rematch on Streetfighter." She spoke in a rather cheerful voice.
"I didn't lose you took my controller and sat on it!" I heard off in the background. "She cheated and tried to claim it as a victory! You can't go around telling people you won after taking my controller."
"See she's mad because I beat her at her own game."
"Oh that's it you did it this time!"
"Ahhh! Haha! Okay Z I'll text you later. Bye!" And then she hung up.
"What'd she want?" I just looked at him.
"She said she felt bad about last night and wants to make it up to me by taking us to lunch."
"Us?" Yeah see he doesn't believe it either.
"Yeah I kid you not she said I should bring you too that way it'll be a double date. We don't have to-"
"Oh no we're going. I want to meet Aj's new girlfriend. I wanna see who she tried to replace you with because let's be honest you're irreplaceable. Did she give you a time?" He spoke interrupting me. I honestly did not expect him to want to go as much as he does.
"No all she said was that we're going to one of Roni's dad's business partner's Italian restaurant and she'd text me the address."
"Oh okay well do you wanna shower while we wait?" We just took one before we went to bed last night...
"Yeah sure." So from there we took a shower together, this time no shenanigans. By the time we finished Aj sent me the time and address. It's almost noon now and she said to be there by two. That's more than enough time for me to dress my best.

At the restaurant
"Hey there you guys are!" Smiled Aj as she greeted us at the door.
"Yeah we made it." I smiled as she hugged me, and oddly she hugged Zack too.
"Good timing too because they just finished setting our table. Come on I'll take you there." She then turned on her heels and began walking. Zack gave me a weird look because I'm a little put off by her attitude towards him too. But we followed her any way through the restaurant all the way to the back where there was a set of fancy double doors. Going through them opened up to a rather large room that had a large ten person round table on one end and a billiards table on the other with a couch behind it. In one corner there was a bar complete with its own bartender. The floor was all a dark colored hardwood with a wood burgundy coloring to the wall. It gives off a very business oriented vibe to some extent.
"Hey you guys showed up! I was for sure you wouldn't come after Aj beat you last night." Smiled Roni as she looked up at us from playing pool. Of course the first thing she says to us has to be sort of a low blow.
"Babe!" Complained Aj.
"No it's fine she's right, doesn't matter because I'll get my belt back when I want it back." I smirked.
"Well then I can't wait to see that matchup. Anyway you must be Zack right?" Roni asked looking at Zack.
"In the flesh the one and only.. Long Island Iced Z!" He smirked holding out his hand for her to shake.
"Nice to meet you.. Long Island Iced Z." She murmured hesitantly shaking his head.
"Woo woo woo, you know it."
"You couldn't help yourself could you?" I asked looking at him. Most fans think his onscreen persona is just an act but sometimes it's really how he is.
"No. Anyway this place is awesome, it reminds me of that movie. Ah what was it called?" He spoke out loud looking around.
"The Godfather?" Spoke the bartender guy.
"Yeah that's it! Makes me feel like I should be out shooting people."
"Trust me kid it's not as awesome as it seems." Sighed the bartender before taking a shot of something.
"Seriously Vinny!" Complained Roni. "Ugh don't mind him he's just a jackass my dad hired to follow me around."
"Don't flatter yourself I didn't want to come in the first place. Trust me I would let you go wherever if you weren't a Clemenza." Vinny then took another shot. "But you are and I have to make sure Daddy's little girl gets home safe."
"Complain all you want but without us where would you be right now?" To that Vinny rolled his eyes and went back to doing whatever it is he was doing prior. "That's what I thought." She then turned back to face us. "Anyway umm the menus are sitting over there on the table. Feel free to order whatever you want. Don't even bother looking at the price if it sounds good to you then get it. Lunch is on me today almost as a thanks for coming."
"You sure?" I asked a bit skeptical of how nice she's being towards us.
"Positive. Look at it more as a peace offering." She then grabbed Aj around the waist and pulled her into her grasp getting Aj to let out a shriek. "Once I have to go home you'll be stuck with this crazy annoying clump nugget and I don't want you to murder her if and when she gets on your nerves."
"Heeey! I'm not annoying!" Complained Aj giggling. After that Zack and I gave each other a look. Roni just called Aj crazy, he and I know all too well what happens when you call Aj crazy. But she wasn't even phased by it this time. Maybe she didn't hear her say it.
"Babe I swear if you ask me what does the fox say one more time I'm going to lose my shit."
"It's a catchy song and you know it!"
"No it's annoying. So if she decides she wants to do that to you it's going to drive you mad."
"Wa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pow!" Sang Aj
"No! No more woman!" Groaned Roni covering Aj's mouth with her hand. "Please babe no more you're driving me mad. The song is completely cemented in my head you won already. Please no more." Aj slowly nodded. "Promise." Aj nodded again so Roni took her hand off her mouth.
"Okay." Pouted Aj looking at Roni with her puppy eyes. Roni just chuckled and kissed her.
"Kay. So really settle in get comfy. Take a look at the menu see what you want. Our waiter should be by in a bit to take our orders." Shrugged Roni pointing to the table. So from there Zack took off his jacket and headed over to the table, I followed behind him.
"Huh I like her she seems really cool." Spoke Zack as he handed me one of the menus.
"Eh she's alright." I never told him about our altercation we had last night. I see no point in letting him know about it because obviously she's going to pretend it didn't happen so I am too.
"Well I like her she's giving me free food. And that's cool with me in my books."
"You like anyone who smiles." I teased being he is a very easy going guy. He doesn't hate anyone he is an all around good guy.
"Yea I'm secretly dating everyone. Shh don't tell my girlfriend!" He whispered nudging me.
"Trust me your secret is safe with me." I murmured looking at the menu. I was a bit perplexed looking at it because a good percent of it is in Italian. I only speak Lithuanian not Italian. It's not to the point where I can't understand any of it because the description is in English.
"Oh what secret?" Questioned Aj as she appeared next to me.
"It's not a secret if we told you." I spoke simply.
"Good point." She then picked up a menu herself and began to look at it. "What in the-" She murmured under her breath. "Babe what's up with the menu?!" She complained out loud turning to look at Roni who was about to hit the cue ball.
"Oh right sorry bout that I forgot it's in Italian. It's been a while since I last ate here." She then walked over to us and took the menu from Aj. "You don't need to look at it anyway because I already know what you want. However for you two I can translate it if you want."
"Wait babe you speak Italian?"
"Yeah didn't I tell you that?"
"No."
"Oh... Well I can speak Italian." Roni shrugged nonchalantly.
"What does this say?" Asked Zack holding out the menu pointing to something on it.
"Umm those are antipasto. Appetizers."
"Okay and what about this?" He asked pointing somewhere else on the menu.
"Zuppa, soup."
"Okay... Mhmm." It's so cute that he's actually pretending to actually be looking at the menu. Odds are he's looking for the meats on the menu. "And what about this?"
"Dolce, dessert."
"They have cannolis her right?" He asked looking at her.
"Oh the very best. They even have tiramisu and gelato to die for. But my personal favorite is torta caprese, it's a flourless chocolate cake and it honestly gives me life."
"Damn it babe why did you drag us here!? You know we all have to stick to our diets. This is practically hell for us right now!" Whined out Aj.
"I don't know about y'all but today all of a suddenly became my cheat day." I sang still gazing over the menu.
"See Zivile gets it. Live a little babe splurge a bit. You should want to eat whatever after your win last night."
"I did already you were there. You insisted that we celebrate last night... and boy did that spiral out of control."
"Oh stop you know you enjoyed every second of it all. Okay then I suppose we can skip desserts."
"Oh who am I kidding please tell me they have ravioli here." Blurted out Zack randomly. That got us all to let out a slight laugh.
"Yea they do. Both meat and cheese stuffed." Answered Roni.
"I'll get that. Only do you think they can do a mix of both. I love a good mystery roulette when eating."
"I'm sure it won't be a problem. What about you Zivile anything on there sound good to you?"
"I dunno I guess I'll get the fettuccine alfredo ." I shrugged. That's usually my go to Italian dish.
"Ooh yeah that's a good one. Trust me it's going to be the best fettuccine you've ever had."
"Scusi, are you all ready to order?" Asked a brunette haired women as she walked into the room. Roni then said something to her in Italian, and she replied back in the same language.
"For drinks is everyone okay with wine?" Roni asked looking at us. Nobody said anything but nodded. Roni then turned around and began speaking to the waiter in Italian again. I assume she was ordering our food because the waiter was writing stuff down on a notepad. Eventually she put away her notepad and the two of them are just chatting. "No it's okay we're fine. You can go now."
"Okay I'll be back with your drinks in a bit." Spoke the waiter before walking out the room.
"This is going to be fun. That waiter has a serious attitude problem. And it's funny because she doesn't know who I am." Smirked Roni.
"Wait what'd she say?" Asked Aj. To that Roni kissed her and smiled.
"Eh don't worry about it, it wasn't anything rude. Anyway since there's four of us how about a nice game of two on two pool?"
"I'm down. I'm the king of solids and stripes." Zack spoke with a cocky smirk.
"Ladies?" Roni questioned looking between me and Aj.
"I'm no good at pool." I spoke honestly. I'm actually pretty good I just don't feel like playing right now.
"Oh it's fine you can be on my team. Don't you worry I'll teach you a few tricks." She smiled placing her hand on my back.
"Then I guess it's me and you." Zack spoke slowly in an unsure manner.
"You better not suck or I swear you're going to regret it." Threatened Aj before going over to the table and grabbing a cue stick. "Well come on let's let's go so I can kick your butts!" It's always good to know she hasn't lost her competitive ways.
Okay I know this chapter was sorta all over the place but It'd here and it's still a chapter. My muse for this chapter or my writing in general was all over the place. I've been working a lot as of late. Like I mean it's crazy one day I'll work a 7 hour shift then the next 4, then another a whole 8 hours. It's annoying af but at the end of the day it's money so I can't complain that much. Besides its not like I do much there anyway. Basically what I'm saying is if you're under the age of 18, don't grow up it sucks. Being grown up and doing adult things suck eggs. Anywhore back to the story, how awkward is it to go on a lunch double date with your lover, with your ex-liver and her new lover? Yea it's über awkward but then again you gotta remember it's a free meal tho. Well next chapter... I'm fucking with you cuz I don't even know what's going to happen next chapter... Unless you're reading this ten years from now and the story is already finished. If it is finished rn for you then obviously I figured out what is to happen, also how awk is it that you're actually reading this ten years from now and I called it? Lolz I dunno.
