My Dad

Our dad is known as "God" or "Creator". However, that is entirely false. Arceus never created the world or Pokémon. He really didn't create anything, except us. However he had Mom's help with that. His job is known as the "Judge". He oversees the laws of the Pokémon and analyzes them to find the answer. He does this by absorbing the plates that represent the type of Pokémon that need his help. When that happens, he is then imbedded with the knowledge of that type for as far back as ancient history. With the knowledge of the plates he needs for the trial, he can determine who was right, what is right, and the best thing to do. In the long run, this makes him the leader of all the Legendary and the common Pokémon.

However, he will always be my dear sweet daddy.

He overlooked the mountain side which he had claimed with pride. This would soon be known as Spear Pillar, or that is what her dad wanted to call it. Palkia wasn't sure about the name, but she trusted his judgment. After all, Arceus always knew what he was doing.

Her dad seems to stare at the mountain landscape that descended into the human land. They were at the highest peak of the mountain, which gave her dad a feeling of superiority. Palkia felt so proud of her dad. He took care of the Pokémon and always made sure they had the best. In all the years she knew her dad, not one Pokémon said anything bad about him.

She was in the center of the area that was going to be known as Hall of Origins. This would be their new home, or until the kids were all grown up. However, since Gira was only 5,000 years old and Dialga and Palkia was only 2,000, that will be a while. Till then though, the children will have to rely on their dad to take care of them. Dialga and Giratina were nearby the top, playing with the nearby Pokémon.

Palkia got up from where she sat and toddled over to where her dad was at. She wasn't very good at it though and kept tripping from time to time. Finally she made it to her destination and said, "Daddy, what are you staring at?"

"…this world. The sky, the earth, the forest, and the Pokémon that live here. Why do you ask?"

"I was just curious. Daddy, do you rule everything here?"

"…in a sense, yes."

"I'm I a princess?"

Daddy laughed, then looked down to his tiny daughter and replied, "Perhaps so. However the correct term is 'Am I a princess?'."

"Oh, okay" Palkia smiled and looked out to the land. This land was so strange to her. She remembers slightly about the world they used to live in. It was all purple and the sky was black. Here, there were so many colors. It was very pretty to Palkia and she thought that Daddy felt the same way.

"Do you like the colors Daddy?"

"Yes. However, I also like the peace that this dimension has, as well as the different creatures here called humans. Apparently, they think that I am a god, and believe that I created them?"

"Did you?"

Daddy stared back out to the land again as he replied, "No, Palkia. I didn't create them. I don't know what did. However, whoever it was is definitely more powerful than I am."

"Do you think that this same thing created everything else, like different homes? Kinda the same way that I can?" Palkia didn't know much about her powers. She was just learning like Dialga, however it was her dad that identified the special powers that each one had. They both came from their mother, who traveled the space and time.

"I believe that this thing is probably even more powerful than you are as well."

Palkia then looked at her dad in confusion as a sudden thought came to her mind. She was afraid to ask it though, and she squirmed around trying to decide what to do. Her dad noticed this and watched his daughter fidget around, a little worried about what was going on.

"Pal, is there something wrong", Daddy asked with a worried tone in his voice.

"I have something I want to ask. However, I am afraid to ask!" Palkia exclaimed to her dad.

Daddy looked at her for a moment and replied, "you can ask me anything sweetie"

"Anything?" Palkia said with awe in her voice

"Anything" Daddy said with a relieved tone in his voice.

"Am I useless?"

The next thing Palkia knew, her dad lost his balance and fell down the mountain side. "Daddy!" she screamed, worried about his safety. Her dad fell down to level surface and got up while saying, "It's okay! I'm fine! Just stay there!"

Palkia let out a relieved sigh as her dad climbed back up to where she was at. Once he reached her, she noticed that he had a serious look on his face. She recognized that face to be the one when he was making important decisions. She waited, until Daddy said, "Palkia. No matter what happens, I never want you to feel useless. Okay?"

Palkia said, "Okay!" and reached up. Her dad smiled and lowered his head to snuggle his little girl.

In events where we get mad at our dads, we need to understand that they want the best for us. In the case that they don't, just remember the times where they loved you.

I should have waited till father's day to write this.

Oh! Also, if you're wondering, in this story, Palkia is around 2,000 years old. In her current time, she is around 15,000 years old.
