Emma walked into the lobby and looked at her watch. They should hopefully have a recess soon. She thought. Emma took off her bag and put it on one of the sofa in the corner of the room and sat down. She yawned loudly and took off her glasses to rub her eyes. A thought then occurred to her. Well, while I wait I could have a quick sleep… And with that she fell asleep on the sofa.

Trucy, Apollo and Machi made their way back into the defence lobby. They didn't notice Emma sleeping on the sofa in the corner of the room.
"I can't believe it! Auntie Emma was right! It did happen in the second act!" Trucy exclaimed. She was so loud that Emma groaned and sat up, muttering.

"This case just gets more and more interesting…" She and Trucy were sat in the Lobby with Machi sitting nearby. Apollo offered to go and grab Emma a coffee which she greatly took up. Emma sighed and looked over at her niece. "I think I might join you for the second part, is that okay?" She asked. Trucy grinned.
"Of course Auntie Emma! We can both stand up with Polly!" She exclaimed causing Emma to smile. Just then the Lobby door opened and Apollo stepped in with two hot drink cups and two bottles of water. Emma stood up and took the hot drinks. Apollo nodded his thanks and passed one of the bottle to Trucy and the other Machi, who smiled slightly and took the bottle.
"So which is which?" Emma asked, holding up the drinks. Apollo took the one from her right hand.
"This one's mine, the other is yours." He said. Emma smiled and took a sip. They stood there in silence for a few minutes before Emma spoke up.
"So I wanted to ask if it was okay that I stood up with you and Trucy after recess." Apollo looked up and was about to give his answer when Emma made a noise and put a finger up, telling him to wait to reply. "That reminds me, Ema gave me this. I think we may find it useful." She went over to her bag and took out an evidence bag. In it was some black fragments. "They are burnt fragments from a fire cracker. They were found at the scene under the sofa." Apollo smiled and took the bag. Trucy then gasped.
"Hey that's where we found that little device thing!" Apollo's eyes widened and he nodded before looking at Emma.
"Thank you Emma, and yes I would not object to you joining us for the next part of the trial." Emma smiled then sighed. Apollo and Trucy looked at her inquisitively but she just shook her head and looked over at Machi.

"Truce and I are just mental support." Apollo just rolled his eyes causing the girls to laugh. Emma then turned to Machi and crouched down in front of him. "Are you okay Machi?" She asked. He looked up and smiled slightly before nodding. Emma returned the smile and stood back up. Trucy then spoke.
"Hey Auntie Emma, where is Daddy, Papa and Uncle Liam?" Emma stood up and grinned at her niece.
"They are on a secret mission." She said and laughed at the expression on Apollo's and Trucy's face. Apollo noticed the laugh was a tad forced and was going to ask her about it but just then the Bailiff came in to announce the trial was to resume. Machi went with the Bailiff, while Apollo, Emma and Trucy followed. Before they entered the courtroom Emma whispered at Apollo. "A word of advice, every man has an ignitor. Find Crescend's ignitor, and set it off." With that Emma walked over to the defence bench to Join Trucy. Apollo was just stood there for a few seconds before shaking his head and following suit. What does she mean? He thought to himself. Man, she can be just as strange as her brother sometimes…
