Hey guys, I'm actually going to send out all review responses via PM within the next couple of days! I have work but I want to get this out to y'all before then. I'm so close to crying right now, you don't even understand. You will understand though. Without further ado, here's the chapter!

Part III Chapter 4- Endings

Peeta

Graduating High School in 2016 was among the highlights of my life. Katniss andI had been dating for a year at that point and though we didn't go to college together, we were close enough to each other that we could see one another every other weekend or so.

Johanna and Gale have moved out of the apartment they bought six years ago and have a small house in Texas where Gale works in the oilfield. Apparently it makes pretty good money. Julie, as she has been called, has started Kindergarten and has a younger brother, John Michael, though he is called Michael by all of us, instead of John.

Finnick and Annie graduated in 2015 and went off to Corpus Christi A&M in Texas where Annie got a degree in Journalism and Finnick got a degree in Social Work. They have been touring the country, giving seminars at High Schools and telling students about their experience in Graceland. Apparently they have been changing people's lives.

Katniss and I own an apartment together and I plan on marrying her, as soon as she is ready, though I know that could be for another couple years. It doesn't matter. We're only twenty-two.

Today, we're finally reuniting at a New York City apartment Finnick and Annie just bought and I cannot keep the smile off of my face. It'll be the first time we've had all six of us together since Katniss and I graduated college. I look in the mirror in the hotel room Katniss and I are staying at and give myself a once over in the mirror. I have a navy Christmas sweater on, blue jeans and a pair of black dress shoes. I look the same as I did six years ago, but I look so different. I see Katniss come up behind me in the mirror, stunning as always. I smile when I see how much she has improved over the years. Looking at her now, it would be impossible to see what she had done in the past. There is almost no evidence of what put her in rehab in the first place. I give her a quick peck on the lips. "You look great." She really does, wearing a long green sweater and black skinny jeans and black Ugg boots. Recently she has started leaving her hair down instead of putting it into a braid.

She smiles that smile I love so much. "Thanks. You do too." She looks in the mirror and applies a bit of mascara to her lashes. "Are you nervous?"

I shake my head. "Why would I be?"

She puts down the mascara and goes to grab her coat and scarf off of the bed. "I mean, we haven't had all six of us, just the six of us, together since we graduated college. I cannot believe Jo and Gale managed to convince Effie to watch Julie and Michael while we all party in New York."

I roll my eyes. "Effie loves the kids! It probably was easy to convince her. I'm sure we just have to promise to all come down and spend next Christmas in Florida." I smile at the thought. Graceland Christmas' were something I miss every Christmas. Every year all the people who had grown up through Graceland would come back and we would have a giant party. We'll be missing out this year, but that hardly matters. Even if we're apart, we're still family. Nothing will ever change that.

Katniss and I put on our coats, hats and scarves and leave the warmth of the hotel and go outside to see New York City at Christmas. A light snow is falling, allowing white snowflakes to make their home in Katniss' dark hair. I kiss Katniss' forehead and we walk to Times Square where we promised to meet the others in front of the giant red bleachers. It looks like we're are the second to arrive, Finnick and Annie cuddling for warmth. and laughing at all the people walking by. "Finnick! Annie!"

They look over to where I called them and walk over to us to give us a hug. "Hey, Peeta! Happy Christmas Eve!" Finnick says warmly as he hugs me, then Katniss, before latching back onto Annie.

"Happy Christmas Eve to you, too." We stay there, talking about how Finnick just got a job as a social worker here in the city and Annie is looking for a job but is having a hard time finding one so she writing a book at their apartment in between interviews.

"She wants to audition for a Broadway show, but feels like she won't get in. I keep telling her to go for it! What do you guys think?" I can see where Annie is coming from, but it shouldn't hold her back.

"You should go for it," I say and Katniss nods in agreement.

"Thanks," she says before her face lights up. "Johanna! Gale!" She is waving wildly. Johanna and Gale are racing towards us, Johanna pushing the occasional pedestrian out of the way and Gale apologizing for her as her rushes by. We exchange hugs and laughs before we start walking.

"How are Julie and Michael?" Annie asks.

Gale pulls out his wallet and shows us pictures of them decked out as Santa and a Reindeer, Julie being the former and Michael the latter. It's very cute. "Did you guys get the presents we sent for the kids?"

Gale nods. "Yup. They're under the tree right now. We told them they couldn't open them until we got back, but we sent them a few presents to open at Graceland. I'm sure Effie made sure they got some gifts as well."

I smile. It's hard to imagine what life we come from before this, all of us terribly abused, but knowing we're never going to have to suffer like that again makes me smile. We stop in front of a Christmas tree that is lighting up the entire area, when Finnick coughs loudly. "Hey, guys, I have something I need to say." He turns to Annie and drops down onto one knee, and it's clear whats happening. "Annie Cresta. I love you and have been with me throughout this entire crazy journey that we call life. You've been there for me even when I screw up and have made me a better person. I am completely, totally in love with you. Will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?" He is shaking, from nerves or the cold, I cannot tell, but it doesn't matter, because Annie is crying and saying 'yes' through sobs. We clap. Our future is secure.

The End

And thus concludes Graceland. The ending snuck up on me too, but I decided it was time once the chapter was finished. I hope I don't lose all of you as reviewers, because I have come to think of you all as my friends! This story was a huge project and I didn't expect it to become as big as it did. This is not the end of me writing, though! Graceland was a response to my story "Search All the Alaskan Sky for You" and there will be a story that is a response to Graceland, and I'll post the first chapter of it on Graceland and as it's own story. Guys, it's been fun and Graceland has been an adventure for all of us. I cannot believe this is it. I'm seriously trying to not cry, but it's really hard, and I think many of you are probably feeling the same way. This story began with Peeta having a single chapter all to himself, and I thought that would be the best way to end it./span/strong/p

I Love All Of You So Much,
