I apologize the lateness, I know I haven't updated for some time (almost 2 years). Life had hit me pretty hard with my health, depression, having two of my best friends had to put to sleep, and personal issues.
But, I do hope enjoy the chapter.
This chapter is dedicated my cat Oreo and Waffle the bunny.
Chapter 14: The fight is on
"So your name is Yuuri?" purred Sara. "What an absolutely cute name for a cute little kitty."
"Um…Thank you?" Yuuri mewed uncertainly, as his eyes shifted from Sara to a livid Wolfram.
"Aww don't be shy, I don't bite…much" Sara purred as he rub his head against Yuuri's.
Wolfram's fur bristled as he watched Sara flirt with worried cat. 'How dare he flirt with Yuuri? He's mine.'
"Um, That's good…I think?" Yuuri mewed softly as he backed away from Sara.
"What are you doing here, trespasser?" Wolfram hissed as he walked in front of Yuuri, Protecting him from what he thought was a threat.
"I came to visit. That's all." The long-haired cat mewed.
"You mean the trespass on my master's yard and stalking Yuuri." Wolfram growled.
Yuuri laid down on the moist soil with his ears flat, back arced up, fur standing strait, and tail curled close to his body as it can get. All the while Wolfram's anger getting worst.
"I'm not stalking anyone Wolfie." Sara replied.
"Do not call me that creeper." The fluffy cat hissed.
"Now that was uncalled for, I am certainly not a creeper!"
"I just call one when I see one. But you are right, you're not a creeper. You're a blond bimbo with a stalking problem."
"Now you are being rude." Sara hissed.
"I'm rude?! You are the one who decided to come in, unwelcome mind you, on to my territory."
Yuuri let out whimper of fear, which went unheard over Wolfram's hissing.
"Last time I check you are an inside-house cat. You are all hissing, but no bite." Sara hissed.
"I'll show you how strong my bite is." Wolfram growled.
"Oh, does the little kitten think he can play with the big cats now?" Sara taunted.
Yuuri started to move slowly backwards while the others were too busy with throwing insults, taunts, and sassy remarks. As the tension in the air increase, he swore he could see lightning sparks colliding between the two blond cats' glare off.
'It's only a matter of time until one of them throws the first paw.' He thought. After a moment, the two blonds went silent. 'This can't be good.'
In a flash, Wolfram pounced on Sara and the unavoidable cat fight was on. Yuuri scurried out the garden and into the house; only to run head first into Greta's leg in the kitchen.
"Oh, there you are Yuuri." Greta smiled as picked up the dazed cat. "It's time for me to head home." She told the cat as she gently scratching between his ears, but all Yuuri wanted to get out of Greta's hug so he could hide under something.
"Greta-chan, your mother is here." Celi called out to Greta with her mother behind her.
"Okay, I'm coming." That was cue for Yuuri to jump out of Greta's arms and ran upstairs.
"Bye Yuuri. Hope to play with you again real soon." Greta shouted to the cat as she ran to the front door to see her mom. Yuuri poked his head out over of the corner in time to see Greta and her mom waved goodbye to Celi as she shut the door.
'I hope Wolfram is okay.' he prayed as he went the cat room to hide.
Meanwhile, the two blond cats were glaring and growling at each other while nursing their battle wounds. Both were filthy as they were covered in planting soil, cuts, and leaves.
"Well, this turn into an unpleasant visit." Sara sighed.
"That because you are an unpleasant guest." Wolfram hissed.
"Should I assume I was right in saying you don't like me?" Long-haired cat asked.
"You should assume that you are an idiot. You should also assume that you should leave Yuuri alone, and stop trespassing in other people territory." Growled the fluffy cat.
"I'm starting to think this is more to do with Yuu-chan then me trespassing."
"I'm starting to think you're more annoying than I thought, and you need to remove from the premise."
Both yellow cats just glared at each at for a moment before Sara let out a big yawn.
"Since I'm clearly unwanted here. I will take my leave." Sara sighed. "I will bid you a good evening. I just have to visit again when you are in a better mood."
"Oh, don't you dare come back here!" Wolfram hissed, but Sara had already left through the hole.
'I don't think he heard me. Damn I need to be on guard.' Wolfram thought as he turn to go back inside. After he crawled out of the bushes, his ears twitch when he heard his master.
"Wolfram! I'm going to lock the door now. If you don't feel like getting stuck outside tonight I suggest you move your cute furry butt and get inside."
'Crap!' He thought as he ran across the yard and pass Celi.
'Double crap!' Wolfram thought as he skidded across the kitchen floor into chair.
"Are you okay Wolfie?" Celi asked while she locked the door. Wolfram let out a loud meow as he went to the water bowl. 'Yeah, I'm fine. I just slipped on the floor into a chair leg after I got into a brawl in the garden. Thanks for asking.' He thought as he lapped the cold water.
"In seven blazing…what did you do in my garden?"
Wolfram jumped, splashing water onto his face and floor, at the sudden loud voice of his master.
"You are absolutely filthy. Were you rolling around and digging up my flowers like a dog?" Celi asked her blonde cat as she picked him up. "Now you need a bath."
'Bath!?' Wolfram panicked.
"Hey Gunter." Celi called out to the lavender haired man. "Can you ready the bath for Wolfie?"
Celi heard a muffled 'yes' from the upstairs as she went to get some gloves from under the sink. "I know you hate getting wet, but it's for own good. With all this dirt in your fur, it will take you days to get clean all by yourself."
Wolfram let out a panic meow as he started to squirm in Celi's hold.
"Sorry Wolfie, but you are getting this bath." She told the cat as she climb upstairs to the bathroom.
"No you're not sorry." he hissed as the bathroom door close.
After a long hour and a half, a soaking wet Gunter let a clean annoyed Wolfram out of the bathroom. Celi let out a sigh as she exited out of the bathroom. "Gunter get some towels while I'll get the mop."
Wolfram let out a hiss at them as they walk passed him. Once they were out of the hallway, he went to go find Yuuri. As he descended from the stairs, he realize that he never saw Yuuri went inside. Wolfram mood quickly went from annoyed to full on panic.
'Triple crap! Please tell I didn't leave him outside!'
Panicking, Wolfram jumped off the last few steps only to land and slipped into Conrart.
"What the hurry Wolfram?" Conrart asked once both he and Wolfram were on their paws.
"HaveyouseenYuurirecently?" Wolfram responded as he whipped his head looking for the black cat.
"Slow down and take a deep breath." The brown cat told the other cat. "I can't understand you."
Wolfram sat down and took a couple deep breath.
"Have you seen Yuuri recently?" Wolfram asked again.
"Unfortunately, I haven't. When was that last time you seen him?"
"In the garden this afternoon, but I haven't seen him come in."
"I believe master would called him to come in when he called you."
"But I don't know if she knew he was outside. Plus he's a black cat, I don't she would see him in the dark if she did knew."
"I believe Gwendal has been in the living room all day. Maybe he had seen Yuuri came in." Conrart
"All right and…"
"And I'll go on a search for Yuuri." Conrart meowed as he climb up the stairs.
Wolfram scurried to the living room and spotted Gwendal laying on the coffee table.
"Gwendal have you seen Yuuri?" He asked as he pawed at Gwendal.
The older cat let out a groan "The small black cat that master is watching over?"
"Yes, have you seen him?" the blond huffed.
Gwendal let out a sigh and respond "The last time I saw him was when he was getting hugged by a young girl with curls."
'Young girl with…he must mean Greta.' He thought then ask "What time was that?"
"When she left for home and he bolted upstairs." The sleepy cat respond as stretch.
"Wait, bolted upstairs? You mean he's inside the house!" Wolfram asked in shock.
Gwendal open on of his eyes to look at the blonde cat. "I believe I said he bolted upstairs. I would like to think he's in the house."
"Thank you." The blonde purred as Gwendal turned to face away the happy blonde.
Wolfram jumped off the table and ran out the living room. As he ran up the stairs, he ran pass Conrart.
"He's in our room if you are wondering." Conrart told the running cat.
"I figured as much." He hissed as he ran up the stairs. Leaving a smiling Conrart chuckling in the dust.
Wolfram stopped in front of the barely open door and nudged it with head. Once it was open far enough, he quietly slipped inside. He instantly spotted the black cat laying on one of the fuzzy shelves.
'Thank god he is safe.' He thought as he sigh in relief.
Wolfram hopped on to one of the lower fuzzy shelf near the door. From there he jumped to one shelf to another, until he landed on the same shelf that Yuuri was on. He notice that the sleek cat was napping.
'He sure like his naps.' Wolfram thought as he observed the snoozing cat. It was then that he notice that Yuuri was still wearing the ribbon that Greta put on him.
"I give Greta one thing. She knows what looks good on the wimp." Wolfram purred to himself.
The fluffy cat let out a yawn and curled next to the other cat. It was a tiring day, with a fight with Sara and force to take a bath, he deserve a long and peaceful rest.
TBC
I always thought that Wolfram would be VERY territorial. Fun facts: Yuuri's mind set is base of my cat, Ciel. My dog Suki thinks he's a cat so the digging like dog bit is a reference. BTW: there is roughly 5-6 chapters left. I might write a one-shot sequel, but that's up to if I people want it. (That's is if people still reading this story) Again I'm sorry for the lateness, and no I am not dropping this story.
