Sylar: You really think you can escape me?(he laughs) You can't ever deny that we're a part of each other. We share the same blood, the same hunger. (he pushes him up against the wall, his hands around his neck)
Adrian: No, I'd never hurt or kill anybody!
Sylar: Oh, but you did, didn't you? Well, except for the killing part, but you came close to doing that, didn't you?
(Cut to Holiday Part One)
Gabriel(he and everyone else shifts uncomfortably at her words): We have to forgive each other. Ray's right, few people here have a clean-(he's interrupted by a knock on the door)
Peter: I'll go get it. (he goes to the door)
(He opens the door to find a policeman(played by Benjamin Bratt) and a policewoman(played by Eliza Dushku)
The policeman: Hello, I'm officer Rodriguez and this is my partner officer Halili.
Peter: My name's Peter Petrelli, what can I do for you both?
Officer Halili: Is this Mohinder Suresh's apartment, and are you and him friends of former officers Matt Parkman and Ray Carter?
(Matt and Ray listen from behind and freeze in fear)

Chapter Twelve: Holiday Part Two
Introduction narrated by Mohinder: Families are where we first learn about society. They bound us, connect us to others. It's inevitable that due to genetics and environment we would share personality traits with family use holidays as a time to celebrate family, but what if we want to separate ourselves from them completely? What happens when we potentially share qualities with them we not only dislike but even hate?

(Close in on a cafeteria at Lincoln Correctional Facility. Ray and Matt are in orange jumpsuits, and Matt is sitting at a cafeteria table with mashed potatoes and a small hamburger. He looks at the food with dread, while waiting for Ray to get his meal. Ray stands in line ready to order. )
The Cafeteria Lady(Conchata Ferrell): Hi, Ruby. I'll have a hot dog with ketchup and mustard, and carrots and peas on the side. (He does his best to smile)
Ruby(frowns at him while practically dumping the hot dog with ketchup and mustard packets and the vegetables on the styrofoam tray): You don't fool me, kid. Everyone here knows what you and your nosy, mind reading friend did. People may like your kind in comic books, but out here in the real world, nobody wants you out in decent society.
Ray: Thanks, Ruby. Merry Christmas. (he says through gritted teeth before joining Matt)
Ray: She really hates me, I swear.
Matt: Yeah, well, I wouldn't worry. We'll be out of here soon. (he says before he begins to eat)
Ray: How? I've tried using my laser rays to get us out, but your so-called boss was clever enough to keep us in a prison made of laser proof material. ( he looks at the food questioningly before he starts to eat)
Matt: Clever bastard! There's got to be a way out of here. (he whispers)
Ray: Why don't we got Mohinder and the others to get us out of here?
Matt: Oh, hell no, I don't need his help.
Ray: You and your damn pride. Come on, reconcile with him.
Matt: He hasn't visited me once this week. I don't need his help after the way he criticized us, so I'm going to get us out my way. You know what that means, don't you?
Ray: Are you serious?
Matt: Dead serious. (he smiles)
(Cut to Mohinder's apartment the next day Christmas Eve. He's sitting at the dining room table eating dinner with Claire, Raj, Parvati, Gabriel, Eli, Hiro, Ando, Micah, Monica, Mirei, Saki, Peter and Janice)
Parvati: Where's Mira?
Hiro: Yes, aren't you supposed to be planning your wedding with her?
Mohinder(sighs and looks at them tensely): She decided that she needed some time off, to think about some issues.
Mirei: That's what my sister Yoko said before she decided to break up with Kazuma.
Gabriel: Mirei, I wouldn't say something like that if I were you. (he looks at her gently with a look of caution on his face)
Mirei: You're right, sorry. (she blushes as Claire looks at them suspiciously)
Mohinder: I'd appreciate it if you all kept my personal life out of this. We need to discuss how we're going to get Matt and Ray out of prison.
Raj: I don't get why we can't just use our powers. Who cares if we get caught? It's the only way, isn't it? That'll be the best Christmas gift we can give them. I won't have to worry about buying them anything after that.
Micah: Syn and I did some research. She called me and told me that the NYPD chief Owen made the prison they were in out of special material that blocks lasers, electricity, and other types of powers from evolved humans.
Peter: I don't think we need to worry about them.
Monica: Why not? Ray and Matt are in prison, and they're due to go on trial soon when they haven't done anything!
Janice: We can't just abandon them.
Peter: Matt called me last night. He told me he was going to use his mind control ability to get them out of there.
Ando: I knew it! That's great, they'll be out of there in no time! (They are interrupted when the doorbell rings.)
Mirei: I'll get it. (She opens the door to see her parents Kyoko(Rosalind Chao) and Seto Nakamura(Masakazu Tamura) along with her sister Yoko and Kimiko. Saki, Hiro, and Ando also get up to meet them and they greet each other with a bow and exchange greeting, while Ando kisses Kimiko on the cheek. They begin to speak Japanese quietly)
Kyoko: Did we come at a bad time?
Mirei: No, not at all. We're just having a meeting.
Seto(with a concerned look on his face): I see. Do you mind if we talk to you all in private?
Hiro: No, that's all right, Seto-San. (Hiro signals to Peter that they will talk to Kyoko and Seto, and Peter nods before they enter Mirei's bedroom.
Kyoko: It's wonderful to see you all again. Saki-chan, you and Hiro-chan make an adorable couple.
Hiro: Arigato Obaasan, wait, we're not a couple!
Saki: Hiro-kun, you don't need to object so strongly. (she smiles sadly, and looks at him blushing)
(Hiro blushes in embarrassment. Ando and Kimiko stare at Hiro in disbelief.)
Kimiko: Oniichan, how could you be so clueless?
Hiro: How was I supposed to know she liked me?
Ando: Who do you think the secret admirer love letters were from?
Hiro: Oh Arigato gozaimasu Saki, those were beautiful(he smiles and blushes slightly) but wait, no I can't! I still love Charlie, and I haven't moved on! I don't think I ever will!
Saki: Hiro-kun, I understand but-
Seto: I'm sorry to interrupt, but we should save this Jdrama for later when there is no chaos and people's lives aren't in danger(he says slowly but with an exasperated voice)
(They all stare at him with red looks of embarrassment on their faces)
Kyoko: I'm sorry, Seto. That was my fault.
Seto: We didn't come to spend just the holidays with you. Kazuma said that he left Lionel Atwood, and he's adding to his army. He's using one of your own.
Mirei: Who is it?
(Meanwhile at Mohinder's table)
Peter: There's someone else we should worry about though.
Eli: Who?
Gabriel: It's Adrian. He didn't make it back home.
Eli: You waited to tell us this now!?
Gabriel: I'm sorry. Noah, Tracy, Syn, and Angela are looking for him right now.
(Eli looks at Gabriel anxiously and Gabriel tries to look at him with comfort but he can't help but look fearful as well)
(Cut to the prison on Christmas Eve)
(Matt and Ray are in the prison, and Matt waits for the guard(Eric Stonestreet) before he makes his move, he smiles at Ray before he stands up to face the guard)
Guard: What are you smiling about?
Matt: I was thinking about how much Ray and I miss our families and want to see them during the holidays, it's Christmas eve after didn't do anything wrong, you should let us go free.
The Guard(He looks sad and apologetic): Yes, I'm sorry. I will let you go free.
Matt: Thank you. (He and Ray smile as they leave. Little do they know that they are being watched by Owen via security camera)
Owen: Clever bastards! He slams the table. He looks at the other cops who are staring at him in fear)
Owen: Well, don't just stand there! Go get them! (They run down to capture Matt and Ray with their guns out but the guns suddenly freeze and shatter into pieces)
A police officer(Dominic Rains): Damn it! Who could have done this?
Owen: I don't know, but I intend to find out.
A sinister, young male voice: That won't be necessary.
(They all look up to see Adrian, Lyle, Kat, Lane, Caitlin, Barbara and Lionel with menacing smirks on their faces)
Owen: Well, well, if it isn't Lionel Atwood. One of America's most prominent and respected journalists. Is it part of your new report to employ these carnival freaks?
Lionel: These "carnival freaks" possess more power than you could possibly imagine. Adrian, why don't you demonstrate?
Adrian: Gladly. (He goes up to freeze Owen, but is stopped by an invisible force pushing him back)
Adrian: What the hell was that!?
Gabriel's voice from behind: It's more like, who the hell was that?
(Adrian turns around to see Gabriel, Noah, Eli, Tracey, and Angela standing before him)
Kat: Awww, does Big Brother want to have some holiday bonding time? Too late, he's ours now. (she smiles, and puts her arm around Adrian possessively)
Adrian: I can handle this alone, Kat. (she frowns and pulls away)
Lionel: Now, Kat, he's a big boy, he can take care of himself. It's nice to see you two again, Noah and Angela.
Noah: You need to give up Adrian and Lyle now! How dare you use our loved ones against us!
Angela: It's the move of a coward. Using young men with less power than you as your minions.
Lyle: I came on my own Dad, it was my choice.
Adrian: It was my choice too. So stay away from us, especially you Sylar.
Eli: I don't recognize you anymore, Adrian. You criticize Gabriel for his past as Sylar, but it seems like you're becoming like him. After what you did to Brandon in high school, nearly killing him, how could you do this?
Adrian: That's different. I was an angry kid then. By joining LIonel, I'm protecting us from non-evolved humans. Lionel has powers too.
Angela: You fool! He's using you for his own sensationalistic purposes!
Gabriel(pleadingly): Adrian, please, listen to me. I love you, I want us to have a chance to be a real family. If you want to talk about my past, we can. I can explain everything. (he walks closer to him)
Adrian: Don't touch me! (he freezes Gabriel just as Gabriel is about to touch him, Gabriel turns in an ice sculpture). (Angela gasps, Eli begins to cry, and Noah stares at Adrian in shock)
Adrian(looks down at Gabriel, in shock at what he's done): Oh my God, what have I done?
Lane: Very well, it seems.
Eli: He's dead!
Ray shouts from behind: Not so fast! (He runs over to them and shoots lasers from his hands, thawing the ice and he collapses on the floor, unconscious but no longer frozen)
Mirei: Oh my God, Gabriel! (she cries, and tries to wake him up, but to no avail)
Tracy: Leave him be, Mirei. Adrian's freezing ability was enough to put him in a coma. The cold from outside and the freezing he endured could have killed him, if his head had fallen off but he's going to be out for at least a few days. Matt, I think you should carry him. Peter, we better get him to the hospital.
Matt: No problem(he takes Gabriel in his arms, Peter nods to Tracy.)
(Mirei is about to attack them in anger, but Tracy stops her)
Lane: Oh, but I was hoping we could have some fun.
Lionel: Lane, let's go. We've had enough fun for today. This isn't over though. Just you wait. Also, merry christmas. (They teleport away, with Adrian looking at them with a look of uncertainty)
Raj: He took of with them, the bastard. What a coward!
Mohinder: Raj, now is not the time.
Eli: I want my brothers back. (he says tearfully, Claire looks at him sadly and puts a hand on his shoulder)
Claire: We'll get them back, I promise.
Mirei: I thought you hated him?
Claire: I do, well at least I think I do. That doesn't matter now though, what matters is that Eli has his family with him again.
(Mirei nods as Peter calls the hospital and they walk out into the night)
(Cut to black. Credits roll)
