Heroes Season 5 Chapter 16

Mirei: Previously on Heroes...
(Cut to Haunted Minds Part One)
Mirei: Gabriel, let me help you! Elle and I have some unfinished business.
Elle: You know what, we do. This should be fun.
Gabriel: Are you sure? (he looks at her with concern)
Mirei: Positive.
(Elle moves quickly to electrocute her, but Mirei turns invisible before she gets to her. Soon, Elle gets ahold of her and begins to electrocute her. She cries out in pain, and Laura moves forward to help her and uses her power of levitation to throw Elle on the ground. After a minute, Elle gets up in a fury and moves quickly to attack Laura but then Mirei gets to her first)
(Cut to Atonement)
Lane: Aww, isn't that sweet? I just love family reunions, don't you Mirei?
Emma: Who's that?
Mirei(trembling): That's a voice I hoped to never hear again.
Start of Episode
Chapter Sixteen: Unshaken Pasts
(Lionel and his team are in his office. Cho, Lane, Lyle, Kat, and Hiro are among others are present.)
Lionel: We need Mirei on our side.
Lane: No, we don't! Why should we? I tried to get her on my side before. Look how that turned out.
Cho: Lane, my love, why don't we listen to what Lionel has to say? He could have some good points( He touches her hand gently and smiles at her. She smiles, but looks at lionel with skepticism)
Kat: I think Lane's the one with the good point. I tried to get Aiden to join us. That turned out badly.
Hiro: Well, getting me to join didn't turn out badly. (he said with a dark twinkle in his eye)
Lane: Ok, that's true. What am I going to do, though?
Lionel: I think it should be obvious to you. Remind her of what she lost.
Lane paused for a minute before smiling.
Lane: I know just how to do that.
Cut to Mirei talking to Gabriel, Micah, Ando, Kimiko and Mohinder, Noah, Peter, Claire, and Matt. Saki is serving them home made sushi.)
Mirei: I think Lane's trying to persuade me to return to her side. It won't happen though, I promise you all. They already took Hiro and I won't let them take me. I have a lot of reasons to stay. (She smiles at Gabriel, blushing as she looks at him. He smiles back, blushing even harder but looks away when Claire glares suspiciously at the both of them)
Peter(trying to distract everyone's attention): We have to find a way to get Hiro back. We have to remind him of not only who he is, but of how much we care.
Ando: How can we do that? I've looked into his eyes. It doesn't look like the same Hiro I once knew.
Matt: Hey, if Gabriel can go from a psychotic murderer to a man fighting for redemption and for all humans, evolved or not, then Hiro can come back to us.
Gabriel: Good point.
Claire(turning to glare at Gabriel): Really, how do we know we can actually trust you? How do we know that Sylar isn't still lurking, underneath the surface?
Gabriel: Honestly, Claire, if I wanted to kill any of you, I would've done so already. I've changed, and whether you recognize it or not, it's not my problem, it's yours.
Claire: That'd be too easy for you! You're better at killing when people least expect it.
Noah: Claire, that is enough. Gabriel is an ally to us and he's trying to redeem himself.
Mirei: Please give him a chance!
Claire: Why because you're dating him now? Let me guess: You're one of those women who thinks you can change him and make him want to be good? I see that dating him is more important than my feelings: your own friend.
Saki: As friends, we should all support each other's decisions. It's not your place to tell Mirei what to do. Mirei and Gabriel can't help their feelings, just like I can't help mine for-, never mind. (She cuts herself off). You don't believe he can redeem himself?
Claire: News flash, he'll never be able to undo what he's done! ( she angrily storms out of the room)
Ando(looks at Mirei and Gabriel questioningly): Wait a minute, you two are dating?
Mirei: Ando, you're so dense I expect you to take the hint. You didn't even remember our relationship!
Ando: What, you think that's my fault? Hiro's the one who traveled back in time and changed it so Kimiko and I could be together. That Hiro's not even there, anymore!
Mirei: How can you give up on your best friend like that? If Gabriel can change, then I have hope for anyone!
Ando: Is it the magic power of love that's making you do this?
Hiro(off-screen speaking Japanese): I really wish you two would shut up.
(They all turned around to see Hiro standing before them and staring intensely)
Noah: Hello Hiro, I see you came alone.
Hiro: I don't need those puny girls to do my work. (He runs towards Ando and grabs him, pushing him against the wall)
Mirei: Hiro, nooo! (She runs to help Ando but Hiro pushes her down with his super strength)
Gabriel, Peter, Claire, and Kimiko rush to her side)
(Hiro looks down in shock at what he's done. His mouth hangs open, confused and unsure of his feelings.)
Mirei: Hiro-kun! (she's speaking in Japanese) Please don't do this! I know you have a good heart deep down! The Hiro we know and love is still there!
(Lionel appears behind him)
Lionel: Don't listen to her. Prove your worth and allegiance to me. Finish the job.
(Ando slowly wakes up. He looks at Hiro pleadingly)
Ando: Hiro, please. Please spare me. Don't become a monster. If you truly want to make your father proud, stop now. Come back to us.
Hiro: We are going now. There will be plenty of time to take them down later.
(Lionel looks at him angrily)
Lionel: You and I are going to have an interesting talk later. (They disappear)
(Ando wakes up fully and begins to cry. Everyone comes around to comfort him.)
Ando: We have to do something. We have to bring him back.
Saki: We will, Ando-kun. We must do all that we can to bring back the man I... love. (tears begin to form her eyes)
(They all nod in silence with determined looks on their faces)
