Aiden was bored, he wanted to check on the force but his parents wanted him to rest and not think about work. Suddenly he heard the sound of the front door open and a "Hey buddy, hi ma hi pa." "Declan!" the parents shouted as they ran up to their son. After hugging his parents he came up to sit next to Aiden and said "Hi Aiden how was your day?" Aiden grabbed Declan by the color and said "Get me out of here they found the home movie."

Declan looked shocked and said "Oh and they're going to show all of them." Aiden nodded at this and Declan looked around but found nothing. He sighed and said "Can't do it buddy you know how they are." Aiden groaned as he slumped in his seat and said "My pride will die tonight."

Declan rolled his eyes at that and said "Well before it does buddy hear this." He told Aiden about everything that happened today, to his discovery, to the duplo's strange statement. Declan then said "I'm confused about that buddy. Why would they need a queen. They're animal based, a human wouldn't do them any good, unless they need someone to give orders but that's why they have a leader for."

Aiden thought about it till he said "Maybe their leader is human." Declan looked shocked as he said "What, you think? Wait that does make sense. Superman is human like, and that doesn't mean there aren't other like him out there. Or maybe duplos aren't' even aliens. Gasp! What are we facing Aiden?"

Aiden frowned as he said "I don't know but I think we have to be careful. Now that I think about it, even though the duplos act like animals they also act like machines. Like they aren't entirely alive." Declan paled as he said "Perhaps not, perhaps they are just synthetic organic robots. It would make allot of sense of how they can shut themselves down when we capture them."

Before they could say more though the doorbell rang and Pa said "I'll get it." Once he open the door he smiled and said "Boys your friends are here." "Hye guys." Called Emit as they all entered, even batman came in but he was wearing a dark hoody instead of his bat suit. Ma then said "Oh good, everyone gather round in the living room. It's movie time."

Lucy then said "Really what movie are we watching." Pa cop then said "Actually it's our home movies of when our boys where little." Kitty then screamed "Aw that is so cute!" as the other laughed and sat down. Declan blushed as he went deeper into the cushions and Aiden gritted his teeth as he glared at the others.

They all sat down as Pa put the video in and it started. On the tv two little boys with pale skin, blue eyes, and black hair that stood at the front where sitting on an elderly man's lap. Benny said "Hey who's that." Ma cop said "Oh that was my father. He loved the boys so much." The man on the screen said "Now boys let's start talking about your future as cops." Someone they could not see on the screen said "Oh Pa let the boys chose what they want to be."

A little boy said "But I want to be a cop ma." "Me too ma." Emmet gasped as he said "Wait I can tell who's who, and they don't even have their glasses on!" Pa cop then said "Well the boys did always look the same but their personalities where always different." The screen then switched to the two boys at a table with a cake, Declan now had glasses.

Ma cop said "Happy birthday boys, blow out your candles." The two blew them out and the three adults clapped. The elderly man that for now will be called granddad cop said "Her you two boys go. Your first pair of badges." "Wo thanks grandad!" "Thank you grandad we'll take great care of them."

Little Aiden then said "Now we eat cake." And smashed his face in it. Declan put his hands up to say "Hey." Everyone laughed at the video. Declan began to cry but then Aiden frowned and this so he scooped up cake in his hand and smashed it in his brother mouth and said "Better?" Declan was smiling as he nodded with delight as he ate his cake.

Kitty then said "Ah so bad cop does have a mushy spot." "Argh!" Yelled the elder Aiden as he hid his face in his hand wishing he could kick a chair.

On a the video Aiden and Declan where at the beach making a sandcastle when suddenly a ball hit it and it was smashed "Hey!" they yelled and looked to see some bigger boys laughing at them and then they said "Look." A turtle was on the beach heading for the water and the older boys said "Let's get it yeah!" Declan jumped up saying "No don't hurt it." And Aiden yelled "Big bullies." And they both ran at them and attack.

"Boys no!" Yelled Pa cop as he dropped the camera. Batman then said "Did you get those punks." Ma then said "Oh they did but they also got in trouble with the lifeguard." Lucy then said "They were only trying to protect that turtle." Pa then said "That's why we didn't ground them."

Next the video showed the twins a bit older and wearing suits and ties. Aiden was trying to take his tie off while Declan was looking at it with interest Ma said "Oh don't you boys look handsome." Aiden said "Why do we have to wear these?" Pa said "Because your grandads getting an award and you need to look nice for the party." "But we look like dorks." "I think we look cool." Said Declan. Aiden growled at that but Aiden just smiled.

The show went on showing first steps, first words, not surprisingly Declan's was buddy and Aiden's was chair, and other embarrassingly cute things like when they came to the time the boys where at the park. Emit said "Hey that's the park in here in Bricksburg."

Pa said "Yeah we were visiting for a cops convention one day and we decided to take the boys to the park." The video showed the boys at the swings trying to go higher than the other, Aiden now had his own pair of shades. Ma would yell out "You two be careful." "We will." They said together.

Benny then said "How come there are no other kids on this. Didn't they have any friends?" Pa then said "The boys really only liked having each other around as they grew up." Ma said "A mistake on our part we should have gotten them to try to be more independent from each other." Declan then said "Well at least we're working on it now." Aiden then said "Doesn't mean we're leaving each other." Declan smiled as he said "Yeah just growing."

Suddenly they heard laughter on the screen and looked to see the boys run off the swings but trip as they fell to the ground and Declan said "You'll always be my best buddy right Aiden." Aiden gave him a one arm hug as he said "And you'll always be mine too Declan."

At that the video stopped. The builders complained about the video being over but Declan and held his brother in a one arm hug as Aiden let a half smile come across his face. If they could they always be brother and best friend, no matter what.
