Hello, everyone. GrayZeppelin here. I am editing this chapter in progress now, as I notice that my first novella Kung Fu Panda is six years with messy grammars, manifesting wolves near the end of the last battle in KFP2. The story might extend more words, possibly wanting to put in a chemistry relationship for the characters, mines, and our old friends during the tragedy.

The Last Survivors
Chapter One: In the Flesh (Working Title)
Gongmen was once a peaceful city in the Eastern Province for more than twenty years since the peacock prince's banishment. Now went under siege for a week was likely the attention across all of China. His destiny was to prevent this "black and white" prophecy, which Shen discerned of the legacy that could end him. In fact, he barely sealed his fate, but only one who many people called the Dragon Warrior should (and will) defeat the Lord of Gongmen.
"Quick! Gather more men, and push them all back at once! NOW!"
On aboard with these crimson sails were lupines guarding for duty. Their Bravo leader in fine wraps and metal mask on the nose of the war junk ship was the one who gestured his battalion, pointing at the other group of wolves who surrounded enemies at three ships down. He lurched over other ships with his metal-flame sword and his group, but two stayed with the other half of Bravo forces where they were next to Shen's War Ship, which bore the dragon cannon.
The velvet night colored a crimson tinge above China's famous sanctuary town, Gongmen City, crawled with tangerine on the far side near the mountains. Howls of terror near the harbor canal chimed on these junk ships with bright red sails and torches. Lupines snarl on the vessels, dashing over their wreckage ships — the gigantic War Ship symbolizing the eyespot onto large scarlet sails. The white peacock stood behind the cannon at the center of War Ship, visualizing his army of wolves sprint across damaged ships.
"What?!" the ambitious evil Lord baffled after his ship wobbled forwardly.
The pack bounded off wreckage junks that went on his War Ship's way. Every wolf crept on vessels, growling against China's most famous warriors: the Masters of Jade Palace (Furious Five, Dragon Warrior, and Shifu), and two Masters of Gongmen. All nine heroes leaped into the air; the Lord of Gongmen feared his life that these masters including his panda adversary, could conclude his tyranny. His wolves had no choice but to defend Shen and the destructive weapon that would bring people to bow and build his empire dynasty. Most used swords against all nine Masters; plenty of locals thrust their attacks forward. The Masters of Jade Palace Gongmen rulers coursed through stranded ships.
The twins fought over the years of darkness to support Shen and their alpha leader Wolf Boss. They did not aspire to be part of this madness after all. While being young and anxious to fit into battle, but almost decided to depart from Shen's army, Wolf Boss's Bravo promoted to one of the twins as the captain, and must not revoke any leader's order. However, the twins chose to gain any leaders' honesty and truth.
"This isn't right," the tall wolf spoke nervously, "There is nothing we can do to defend Shen and these cannons."
"Lee, we cannot push forward," his brother warned him. "It is impossible to hold them back."
Shrieks and hails chanted from the edge of the harbor's bridge. The smell of powders and burning torches puffed. An Ox master combated the wolf units, jerking his whole strength against the hordes, striking multiple in his way, and deflecting swords using his large horns. All of the masters struck their kicks and pounded to the rest of the pack to the river. The heroes drew near the main vessel; nevertheless, wolves had nothing else to diverge all nine masters from Shen and their potential war machines. Notwithstanding that the wolves cannot counter all in a struggle conflict situation, Lord Shen expressed his burst toward his second-in-command at the vessel's bridge, the Alpha of the wolf bandits.
The peacock watched plenty of his wolves tumble over the sides of the ships ahead of him. "Why aren't we firing?!" Lord Shen demanded.
In front of him, Shen's partner Wolf Boss on the cannon revolved his head, carrying a torch. "Those masters are taking out our gunners, sir! They are getting close!"
Shen gazed at the young and stupendous panda ahead along with the masters, where all nine rushed through in a crowd of wolves. The panda gestured the peacock to lead straight to conclude the final battle, and bring the albino to justice. Lord Shen trembled his feathers and felt the wrath ahead.
At the last boat beside the War Ship, two bravest wolves sought the masters approaching them and Shen as well. They stood still in their fighting stance in motionless.
"Fire at them!" Lord Shen ordered Wolf Boss solemnly. "Well, fire at THEM!" The twins overheard Shen louder tone. Wolf Boss glanced at the wreckage that the pack of wolves swarmed against masters. Once determined this circumstance clear enough, masters advanced closer, but the cannon peeked its fiery at his people ahead of him.
The alpha including his had families from home. Their sisters from the woods, including cubs with their mothers. By any such madness, Wolf Boss was hesitant, his back swarming with shivers. "But sir," Wolf Boss warned Lord Shen, "we'll kill our own!"
The twin's bravo leader swung his blade on two junks forward. "Move! Get over here and shove these masters off!"
"We can't do it, Lee!" his twin brother shook.
"It's either us or them, Lin," Lee said and signaled his team behind him as the Bravo's captain. "You heard Leo! Push forward!" The bravo wolves advanced and bounded on the junk ships' short courses, which blocked Shen's War Junk from departing the canal and into the harbor. Lin was the only member of the pack following behind the horde that followed the captain across the sails. His dark ears caught sharp whimpers, yet these lupines far down knocked once masters approached closer. One of these cries was from his back.
"I… said… fire at them!" Lord Shen burst his beak. "FIRE!"
Lin trained on this perplexing scene that he could not understand the situation between the alpha and the Lord of Gongmen. He sought one thing that could potentially end what stood: the masters, and his people. Fire at them? Where we are and those masters? That bird is out of his mind!
"Lin, come on!" Lee within the crowd positioning their defensive barrier against masters close by hailed his brother. Lin, so trembling at him, and the other while their alpha turned his back, and threw his torch to the platform.
The twins observed them both when the masters stormed near the main junk. Shen commanded Wolf Boss for the last time, as the alpha knew he would not let Lord Shen kill his local army on the board of the ships ahead. Shen's eyes flashed with scorching crimson. Within the sleeves of his elegant robe were glistering silvers. The twins heard their alpha's rupturing flesh and breath.
Lin gasped. "NO!"
Their alpha leader tumbled next to the platform. Lee shouted. Lin pulled his brother's arms by not going near Shen's War Ship.
Their alpha leader was dead from the twins' point of view. Lord Shen bounded through his cannon after Wolf Boss fell beside the ship. The peacock switched one trigger to drag down the pointing line of fire in the exact spot of masters down ahead. Lin and Lee sprinted to the pack, reaching every pack forward as fast as possible. Once Lord Shen grounded and matched the rope with white sparkles, two wolves roared their retreat.
"ABANDON SHIP!"
"GET OUT!"
"PO!"
One of the Furious Five members screamed and pushed the Dragon Warrior simultaneously toward the side when a large cannon aimed the panda and all the masters. Two wolves jumped out of the boat, and the others around at least ten of them did the same, but the rest moved in a different direction. Once all twelve wolves leap out and separate, only two were the only survivors after Shen ignited the blast cannon.
A few leaped on the water, and the line of fire dazzled into flames above the mirror surface. Once they made submerge and most who almost bounded with an unexpected delay, a scorching red sun ruptured their screams. Foams and several raging splashes above the twins muffled while they were descending them both, sensing the surface that cast the sun's heat stroke on their heads. As likely you were floating briefly, your back was being pulled. One of the twins slowly blinked and screamed his foams.
Many wolves wore their armor and metal swords they carried, and most of them and the twins raced through crawls, the buoyancy collapsing their weights down the void. Lee roughly swam his breaststroke above, fighting off the whole weight that continued to sink him, fading the fire above the shattering glass ripples, and the main ship was one of them trekking forward. Without hesitation enough, he removed his mask, chest armor, and a sword weapon to save his own life from sinking. Lee peered above, and half of the lupines with burnt flesh and bones floated, made him almost swallow the whole water after a short scream.
Lee had no time to waste his shortness of breath now. Only that he had to find one thing he cared more about, and his brother could be one of them, alive underwater. He quickly found his brother down below him as he felt a paw grip. Lin did burst his air, and Lee quickly jerked his brother's armor, the sword from the back, and dismantled the rest away. Lee pointed above the water space on the right side of the bridge as Lin understood his brother's gesture. The two wolves made their breaststroke to ascend through stiff and dark hues of crimson and midnight.
Both of the warriors gasped their air after being submerged for a minute, severely hacking out of the water from their throats. Both quickly stayed afloat while circulating their limbs using thread water to let their heads staying above water. Gaped at the edge scenery of the harbor, Lee and Lin sought a few lupine bodies floating under, the rest lamenting while crawling away. Their lord was unorthodox as the twins had known this peacock who educated these wolves well to preserve survival while he and his soldiers were the outcast, and now, the massacre made them despise their lord.
"Damn that peacock!" Lin swam his front crawl next to his twin brother close to the harbor. "He murdered our leader!"
Both twins found a ladder beside the dock hinges supported by the bridge but destroyed after the blast. Shen ripped everything in his path, where dead wolves and wherever had left with debris floated. Lee and Lin quickly ascended to hide in a shadow, moving away from the water where they shall not be allowed to be seeing from Shen's wicked eyes. Both warriors breathed themselves slowly whenever they lay rest behind a wall where twins hid.
"This is madness!" Lee murmured loudly, continued panting. "I should have warned the packs back there."
"No one noticed our leader's death right now," Lin reasoned, calming his breath. "We are the only ones who witnessed a betrayal." The twins relax through their minds. Lee and Lin worked themselves supporting their Bravo leader for a long time. Both escaped through the darkness of Lord Shen's wrath. Plenty wolves have seen such madness toward the albino who only cares of controlling China to deliver every single being must bow before him. The twins noticed about the tragedy of pandas from the Alpha leader, and they have felt the insanity that Lord Shen killed most of the wolves today in such similar of tragedy. Lin thought about the pack and must be informed.
"What are we going do, Lee?" he asked his brother worriedly. "We need to get our brothers away from this city, and tell them all the truth about what just happened to our alpha."
"The pack must know," Lee enunciated to his brother. Trying to be normal but his voice continues trembling as a cold. Lee rose softly instead of rushing.
"Then how are we exactly can inform all brothers out there at the harbor?" Lin demanded, struggling to arise, but his brother helped him and leaned Lee against the wall behind. "That fool betrayed our leader. And he will turn on all of us."
"We will have to explain everything that we saw," Lee told him, frequently. "Tell our clan that Lord Shen should never be trusted again."
After their short conversation has ended, the twins discern most of the various clangs from the fire-breathing cannons near the harbor. Lee and Lin heard tremor voices of Gongmen pedestrians while the twins stepped out of the shadows from houses, and local civilians communed that the ships are going to fire at the panda.
"What is going on?" Lee agonized.
Both wolves dashed to the corner; Gongmen villagers rushed to the left of another side as they were also glimpsing the harbor. Lee and Lin reached the edge of a dock. The bridge was formed to saunter another way but demolished. Onto their gazing eyes, all reddish sails billowed gently. The largest vessel lingered along twelve sailboats. These sailboats have filled with wolves in one cannon on each ride. The Warship as the twins hardly visual few bandit wolves including two giant apes supporting Shen.
Lee and Lin both observed the skirmish across the dock, and they pondered what cannons are aiming at the front. Wolf twins could gaze, however. Lee and Lin shifted slightly to the right as there was a gap in between the boat and Warship sails. A black form was spotted in a middle of the harbor after the twins found what many cannons were aiming. They can barely see a panda standing on a flat, wreckage wood from one of the sailboats that were completely devastated after Shen fired his massive artillery.
What is he doing? Both of the twins inquired themselves thoughtfully. The panda forms a half circle from his feet to the right after he closed his own green eyes. His massive arms flow as a soft air by creating a space within as both of his hands devised a hidden ball. His master from Jade Palace once shown the panda on what Shifu has learned by Oogway's final teachings from kung fu. The panda gazed the Warship shortly as Lee and Lin apprehend Shen's command.
"Fire!" the peacock commanded the wolves from one of the sailboats.
As the sound of cannon triggered, the panda adjoined his eyes. He imaged a single tearful water from a gentle rain, collapsing as the fireball formed into a tear. Inner peace. The panda echoed his tone through his peace of mind without distractions. He focused a falling tear when it continuously collapsed. In a peace of mind, every sound had shut. A small, leaf plant snatched a tear from the broken sky, and extended its arms, tossing the water gently like a catapult.
The panda rapidly opened his eyes. The fireball nearly reaches the Dragon Warrior shortly. The fireball has caught. The panda grasped the flaming fireworks from the metal ball as he swiftly tossed the inferno from behind. The city gaped their hero who threw a piece of the cannonball to the heart of the dock. Both of the twins trembled in surprise. WHOA! Many packs of wolves went startled their wobbling voices.
"By the Gods!" Lin murmured with a stun. "How did the panda do that?"
Lee glimpsed the Dragon Warrior far at the harbor where twins caught their own eyes at the panda standing on a broken hull ahead of Gongmen Harbor.
His twin brother's only answer was his eyes widening, unable to voice out momentarily. They witnessed the panda who attempted the impossible, yet near-suicidal enough to stand one against a whole. How could this happen? There was no chance to catch the fiery ball that murdered one council member, that the weapon itself was the elimination of the essence of Kung Fu. The city imaged of the white and black creature, something far brighter to stumble the whole army of tyrants. Fear crept on every lupine's back.
"Again!" Echoed the Lord of Gongmen on his main warship, and his dragon cannon burst another with angry flashes.
One fire stormed toward the panda, and again repelling at once again by Dragon Warrior, and the other cannon fired. Most of the cannonballs could not rain down on Po. The panda dodged one fireball with a roll. The peacock's patience went thin, flaring his eyes. He continued shouting on all the wolves.
"Kill him!" Lord Shen swiveled his wings. "Somebody kill him!"
No matter how wolves continued shooting against the panda, the Dragon Warrior deflected more of being unstoppable. The peacock knew he was frightening that the panda will accomplish the battle by destroying every boat that supported Warship. Many triggers of cannons spread a clang of fireworks. Ships randomly shot the Dragon Warrior at no matter the cost.
The twins barely heard their terrifying brothers on the board of ships ahead. They perceived that all bandits could not underestimate any of the famous kung fu masters.
Lin overheard a dying howl from the back of War Ship. Lee caught listening with his brother also during fireball shootings. Once both of the twins immediately peered through Lord Shen's Warship, Lin sighted an Alpha struggling on the balcony.
"Lee! Over there!" Lin points to Lord Shen's Warship behind the deck after he called his brother beside him.
Behind the larger ship where Lord Shen was on above the cannon and the gorillas using their massive dragon artillery to fire, and eight wolves beside the Warship. On behind the deck of the ship, the alpha wolf groaned in a conflict where four feather blades impacted on his chest severely that he wore his armor to protect himself from any attacks. Wolf Boss goes into critical. He crawled away on the balcony from Shen and the cannons on the ship. The twins surveyed a slow movement there and found one struggling to vault over.
"He's still alive!" Lin shouted.
"No way!" Lee gasped.
The alpha went over the balcony rail on the backside of the Warship, breathing weakly and could not gain his strength to escape. Wolf Boss continued emerging his scruffle, then trying to figure his approval for his final leap towards the edge. He sighted two wolves ahead of apartments beside the demolished bridge. After a final mount through alpha's continuous struggle, he bounded through a fall, collapsing to the harbor as the water swallowed him.
At suddenly, Lin sprung into the surface, swimming under the shreds of darkness as he in his thought must salvage Wolf Boss from the final fight. "Lin! Come back here! It's too dangerous!" Lee yelled.
Lin nearly heard his brother's muffling shout from the submerging water. He gazed at Wolf Boss struggling to swim his limbs while ascending. The alpha can notice his armor outfit can drag his body; his chest soared within a sharp stab of severe pain that his blood swarmed softly. At first, Lin ignored his brother's voice while he continues swimming in a front crawl through the harbor where all the ships are firing to the panda in the last stand as after the wolf returns above the surface of the water. Wolf Boss's whole face ascends the surface, then continues drowning as no other woods over feets away from everywhere can arise a float for him.
Lin sighted the Alpha flooding while many of boats shortly firing the panda for awhile. Next, the panda threw the ball at one of Lord Shen's ships. The ship cracked the woods into collateral damage; Lin nearly stroke one of the boarding woods from the wreckage sailboat close enough; plenty of wolves leaped away out and dived to the dock. Gongmen civilians cheered their surprise; once Lin was nearly reaching to Lord Shen's ship on the right side where Wolf Boss struggled with a gentle whine, craning his neck as he barely swum with backstroke slowly, as if the flesh wound burned him, making him drown above the water surface.
The peacock screamed in rage and confusion that one of the fireballs smashed into sailboats.
"WHAT?!" Lord Shen shouted after another ship shattered into pieces. "NO!"
After the impact, Lin swam closer to Wolf Boss. "Boss!" Lin called his leader, sustaining his swimming crawl as he nearly reached the alpha leader. "Hang on!"
Wolf Boss stayed above the surface as he can quite use the backstroke to float. The alpha's wound tormented his weakness, letting Wolf Boss sunk and he knew his strength could not last, and his time to conclude. Lin hailed his leader shockingly. He can see the panda throwing multiple fireballs away from water surroundings before Lin submerged. Lin snatched Wolf Boss's paw; subsequently, they both reached their neck surface of the water after their return. Lin managed Wolf Boss's float when holding his left arm instead upper chest because of severe agony.
Next, Lin searched a wreckage wood. He immediately pulled his alpha towards the broken line of the grove. The peacock directly aggravated when glaring a clumsy panda ahead of Gongmen Harbor. The panda taunted his finger, pointing to Lord Shen as the albino clenched his beak, and trembling his feathers in which irritates more. Lin and Wolf Boss hanged on a light wood to stay afloat after this terrifying wolf salvaged his alpha leader.
"Are you alright, sir?!" Lin demanded to Alpha worriedly. "I'm going to get you out of here as I can. Just stay with me!"
The peacock screamed to the gorillas. "Keep firing!"
The dragon cannon triggered its flames. The fireball distracted Lin, and the frightening wolf glimpsed a rapid flow towards the Dragon Warrior.
Lin's paw once touched. "Leave me here, kid," Wolf Boss demanded in a feeble tone, his lungs puncturing with wheezing coughs. Lin swiftly turned to his leader when Wolf Boss inquired him dyingly. "Save yourself..."
"I'm not leaving you here, Boss!" Lin trembled his head. "I will escort you out of this treacherous battle!" When Lin again turned to the panda, the Dragon Warrior caught one fireball, spinning downward. The fires scattered and water revolved below the wood like a hurricane. "Uh oh!"
Wolf Boss coughed when whining. "Just get out of here... Leave... without me…"
"We act like brothers, sir!" Lin spoke loudly, gripping to alpha's paw softly. "And brothers do not leave behind!" The alpha began looking into Lin's courageous eyes. Lin disliked leaving any more of his brother like a pack of wolves behind where they suffer and die. As a soldier, if you sprinted through terrorize land and sighted your ally collapsed during a firefight, you must carry your soldier by vacating the enemy lines. "Lord Shen is crazy! He's insane!"
"I… I know..." Wolf Boss spoke in vulnerable. "Shen's no longer be trusted..."
"He betrayed you. He turned back on us." Lin added.
Lin grabbed one of the broken lumber platforms that came from the wreckage war boats. "Come with me," he implored Wolf Boss while pointing the Dragon Warrior, "before that fluffy panda will doom us all." Wolf Boss and Lin gazed their own eyes shortly.
"You're right," Wolf Boss whined weakly.
As soon as Wolf Boss nearly shut his right eye, the light approached from behind Lin. The flash of starlight roared, Wolf Boss's right eye grew wide, and Lin swiftly turned behind, the bright light blinded both of their eyes. Lin screeched before a final fireball stroke Lord Shen's Warship, crashing directly to the front. Blasting flares screamed its horror, fragmenting the hull and cannon upward.
"NO!" Lee exclaimed, lingering to his twin brother.
He possibly considered that Lin and Wolf Boss might be killed from the blast beside the light, or dodged the uproar after submerging below Gongmen Harbor once the Dragon Warrior has ended the battle. Plenty of pack of wolves swam through the harbor. Not as much around a thousand, but only more than a hundred wolves. Lee foresees the wolves on the water to swim away, some may can, but some struggles as a result of drowning. Lee jumped down to the harbor, bathing across the wreckage as crawling forward to save the rest of the pack as possible. Many debris on the water comes from all war boats including Lord Shen's War ship that shredded apart. The Gorillas have evaded the battle and must have run away from the fight after the ship has destroyed, they shall never again to return to Gongmen through the end.
On the brightest morning light after the final attack, Wolf Boss grasped on to his both arms on a single broken wood that comes from Shen's ship but losing his blood below his chest and struggled in rest. Lin does the same as Wolf Boss but floating much far as about one acre in the distance. Lin awakens to himself in a far off to the seaside at the end of the harbor on the upper right side, searching around the surface everywhere first and then sights Wolf Boss right behind him.
A moment later, Lin pulls his Alpha leader by the leftover light wood gently. Lin sighted the beachhead. The sound of breeze whispered the seaside waves. The wolves arrived the beachhead as Lin sensed sand below his paws. After the approach, Lin carefully extends Boss's right arm across through the back of Lin's neck behind while supporting the alpha to enable a walk shortly after they land a beach.
The wolves soaked over their bodies. Their feet paws gathered sands. Wolf Boss coughed brokenly; Lin carefully placed his Alpha by moving him away from the off shore and laying Wolf Boss on the sand. Lin helps Boss for using his left paw like a pillow to stay above as the wolf must find help from the pack.
"Boss," Lin trembled Wolf Boss as the alpha suffocated his air gently. "Boss? Just… Just hold on, okay?"
A lone complex was part of the Gongmen City's residence, as Lin pondered of the unknown residence. A three-story building with dry clay structures and upward tiles perched on the beachhead about a hundred feet away from wolves. Rasp breaths triggered under Wolf Boss's throat.
"Hang in there, boss," Lin advised, whining continuously. "I'm gonna get help from those people in there."
Before Lin made for his quick stand toward the house, Wolf Boss snatched Lin's arm.
"No," Wolf Boss coughed. "Don't... leave me here."
"You need help, sir," Lin pointed at a single three short story apartment. "I'm not going to watch you die. Without you, our pack will grow weaknesses."
"I know," Wolf Boss harshened his breath, gripping Lin's paw to let the twin kneel near the alpha. "I need you to stay here with me. Just take my paw... Say your word that you will never leave me."
The alpha's order was solemn enough never to leave any soul behind. Sticking together was what brothers could do within and out of combat. A small wave from the pacific ocean beaten a single break onward the bank, cleansing Wolf Boss's fading crimson trail. "I'm not gonna leave you," Lin promised the alpha, nodding while both paws are currently in a grip.
"Good boy..." Wolf Boss murmured.
It was a long morning that shone its light tangerine, stroking on two of the suffering wolves on the beachhead. Waves continued to stream near the beach, and the salt breeze wind blew among Lin and Wolf Boss. The alpha neared his silence, as Lin feared that many packs could isolate without survival, including his twin brother Lee and one of their closest friends from their homeland. He had a gift to his good sense of hearing, and he felt his leader's heart feebly drum in slow and uneven rhythm, thus his croaky breath wheezing under his throat.
A single explosion on Gongmen Harbor deafened, and Lin widened his eyes. "Boss? Boss!" Lin shook the leader, beginning to stream his tear. "Wake up!" Suddenly, they both observed swarming flashes of white and red, left with a cloud of black smoke billowing.
"Wh—?" the alpha suppressed his harsh coughs.
"Something happened at the harbor," Lin pondered, streaming his single tear. While the boom had lasted, Lin continued looking at a small, light flash of fireworks in Gongmen Harbor while he listened to both Wolf Boss's feeble air and the blast simultaneously. Facing down to Wolf Boss, and spread his own green eyes that his leader nearly concluded his dying breath.
Just then, the veggies of radishes began to drop. Lin caught his ears flicker from where the sound came from and sought a runt rabbit in a white kimono with cherry blossoms, whose face went pale, trembling.
"Help!" Lin bawled at the child near the beachhead apartment. "Help me!"
