"It's not a comedy!" Alice hissed.

"Are you sure?" Jade asked, shaking with laughter. "Cause this is even funnier than the first one." She shook her head. It had been a long time since a movie had made her laugh out loud. If she remembered correctly the last time had been a year ago when she saw Sleepaway Camp 2 for the first time.

"Lauren died in the first one!" Alice exclaimed, staring at her.

"And now her sister's dying." Jade said, nodding. "How is that not funny?" Alice groaned, looking around and seeing that much of the audience was glaring at them.

"Bringing you was a mistake." She muttered. Alice was trying to avoid seeing the future where Jade was concerned. It made things much more interesting, and Jade was the most pleasantly interesting to happen to her in years. So she hadn't checked to see how Jade would react to the movie. Alice had hoped for some pouting, since she had a feeling that Jade pouting would be adorable, but she'd expected sullen silence. Instead she was getting Jade laughing her head off. She briefly considered kissing Jade to shut her up, but her future sight more or less shouted that at this stage that would be a disaster. It didn't help that Alice herself wasn't sure if this was a date or not. On the one hand Jade was really pretty and could be very entertaining. On the other hand she was also very exasperating, more than a little abrasive, and if Alice wasn't a vampire Jade would probably be more than a little scary. So it was a little hard to decide if this was a date or not when Alice wasn't sure if she wanted it to be a date or not. Jade sighed and stood up.

"I'm going to get a drink before I get lynched." She told Alice, slipping away. Alice did a quick check on the future to make sure that Jade actually was planning on coming back, then settled in to enjoy five minutes of riffing free viewing.

"Thanks." Jade said as they walked out of the theater. "It was a lot more fun than I expected."

"You argued at the clothes store, you laughed during the tragic drama, can I take you anywhere?" Alice lamented.

"I tend to be well behaved at horror movies." Jade said after a moment's thought. "And coffee shops, if the coffee's good of course."

"Anywhere else?" Alice asked.

"Nope." Jade said cheerfully, popping the P.

"Of course not." Alice sighed, shaking her head as they climbed into Jade's car. Jade had insisted on driving, muttering something about not wanting to be tricked into another clothes shopping trip. The minute she heard that Alice tried to come up with a way to trick Jade into going clothes shopping, but it was a no go.
