Okay, so I just wanted to start with a big thank you. Thanks for reviewing, it means a lot, and I love reading your thoughts. Like, they honestly make my day. Now the other thing I need to say is that there's a lot going on in my life right now, and it may be a while before I'm able to update again. It might not be, I could get some time, but I'm just warning you guys.

"Oh, my head," Clary groaned, turning her head over to bury it in the warmth beside her. Then she froze as she realized the warmth next to her wasn't a pillow—it was the toned, tanned body of Jace Wayland. She jerked backwards, and the sudden movement made her head throb and shot a pain down her neck and she let out another pitiful groan. "Ow," she grasped her head and pressed her fingers into her temples. The chest beside her rose and fell, and she looked up to see Jace chuckling quietly.

"C'mon, Red," he pressed a quick kiss to her forehead. "Let's do breakfast."

"What?" She raised her eyebrows at him disbelievingly, her eyes squinted against the morning light painfully. "Breakfast? I don't even think I can drink water right now, much less eat anything." Just the thought of it was making her stomach turn over.

"Trust me," Jace pushed back the blankets and used his abdominal muscles to pull himself to a seated position, rubbing his hand over his face. "You'll feel better after breakfast. Take it from someone who has been getting drunk almost religiously every weekend for the past four years of his life." Clary would have looked at him disapprovingly, if she wasn't too busy admiring his muscular back. Down one shoulder blade and reaching around his side was a crow, it's legs outstretched as though it was about to land and it's head bent forward. The front of the bird was in great detail, however the back half of the crow faded away, breaking off into a bunch of smaller birds, which were stretched in dark ink out to his spine. Without thinking, she reached forward and touched the tattoo, feeling him stiffen under her touch. He relaxed again almost instantly as her fingers traced the ink and she felt him take in a deep breath.

"It's kind of...Haunting," she murmured. Jace twisted around and found her hand, pulling it to his lips.

"Breakfast, Clary," he replied softly, kissing her fingers and then letting them fall back to her side. He got off the bed and found a pair of sweatpants in his drawer and a singlet, pulling them on and then walking out of the room, giving her privacy to dress. When she came out of his room, he was already gone, so she guessed he was upstairs. This time, she had actually thought ahead, and had packed her toothbrush in her purse. She brushed her teeth, attempted to tame her bed hair, and then headed upstairs after him. Her head was still pounding to the extreme, and she kept her eyes as closed as possible, only looking out from underneath her slitted eyelids.

"Morning, princess," Magnus sung out from where he was sitting on top of the table, swinging his legs back and and forth and smiling brightly. Clary threw a glare in his direction.

"How are you so...Awake? And alive looking?" She moaned. "I hate you."

"I hardly drank anything last night," he told her, still grinning. "I'm just naturally this marvelous."

"Could you naturally be any quieter?" Isabelle groaned, coming out of her bedroom and padding over to where Jace had brewed fresh coffee. "Are you doing pancakes?"

"Course I'm doing pancakes," Jace replied with a smile. Clary joined Isabelle and Jace in the kitchen area, pouring herself a cup of coffee and drinking it quickly, ignoring the burn of it on her tongue and down her throat. Isabelle went into the lounge, flicking on the TV and turning down the volume low. Alec came up the stairs, two plastic bags in his hands, and he put them down on the table next to Magnus. The Indonesian boy reached out to lace his fingers through Alec's hair and then pulled him in close, kissing him firmly on the mouth. Clary's eyebrows raised, quickly diverting her gaze to Jace, who just grinned at her. Alec pushed Magnus away, but he was shaking his head with a smile.

"I did a shopping run," Alec announced. "Anyone want anything?" Clary looked over, her eyes honing in on the wildberry vitamin water. He saw her expression of interest and picked it up, throwing it over to Clary who smiled at him appreciatively.

"You get shit to go with the pancakes?" Jace asked as he started pouring mixture into the frying pan.

"Do I look like a novice to you?" Alec grunted, putting the second shopping bag down on the bench. There was fresh fruit and a can of pre-whipped cream in the bag and Clary was surprised to note that she was actually looking forward to eating. Not something that usually happened when she was hungover like this. It wasn't as though she had much practice with being this hungover, but generally she hid in the dark until the nausea and headache passed.

The morning went by nicely.

They ate, and then dumped the dishes into the sink to do later. At one point, Sebastian came out, but Isabelle quickly sent him on his way. She had bruises littered around her wrists which Alec glared at, but she just shrugged, saying that she liked it rough, sometimes. They found a movie to put on, 22 Jump Street, and all settled down in the lounge to watch it. Isabelle curled up in an arm chair, resting her head back against the cushioned back, nestling her third coffee for the day in her hands. Alec and Magnus were on the couch, Magnus leaning against the arm with his legs in Alec's lap. It was kind of cute, and unexpected, the way Alec was absent-mindedly rubbing Magnus' feet—like they were an old couple. Clary started by just sitting on the last couch next to Jace, but eventually she ended up laying down with her head in his lap, and he was running his fingers through her hair, massaging her scalp. It helped to soothe the throbbing in her skull, and she found herself feeling completely relaxed.

"I think I'm going to try and sleep off some of this hangover," Jace said around one in the afternoon, rubbing a hand over his head. Clary looked up from where she had been slipping in and out of sleep on his lap and nodded.

"I'll call a cab and go home," she told him with a smile. Jace raised a light colored eyebrow at her and shook his head.

"Or you could just come downstairs with me and nap," he told her, not really making it seem like a question. Isabelle shot a smile over at them and then jolted forward in her seat.

"Shit, should not have done that," Isabelle groaned, freezing and closing her eyes. The pounding in her head subsided slowly as she took in deep breaths. After a moment, she opened her eyes and looked at Clary. "You know Aline from last night? She's the girl I know who works for the cafe that needs a waitress. She said to just give her a text if you're interested and she can get you an interview."

"Thanks, Iz," Clary said. "Can you just text me her number?"

"Will do," Isabelle leaned back in her arm chair, closing her eyes again. Jace gripped Clary's hand and lead her downstairs to his apartment. The afternoon sun was streaming through his window and his room was so warm, the moment Clary laid down on his bed she felt herself getting lulled to sleep. She was feeling better with the nurofen in her system, but she had still only had about four or five hours solid sleep last night. Jace laid down next to her, looping one arm round her waist and then falling asleep almost instantly.

About an hour later, Clary woke up, blinking around the room, feeling utterly loose and relaxed and lazy. She smiled over at Jace, who looked like he was just waking up. He reached down to touch her hair, twisting it between two fingers and then touching her face, running his fingers over her forehead and down her nose to her lips. The smile slipped from her face as he began to trace her lips softly with his fingers. A warm feeling was spreading through her, and Jace cupped her face, pulling her up toward him and pressing a kiss to her mouth. Clary responded, twisting her body so that she was pressed up against his, and letting her lips part, allowing his tongue access to the warm cavern of her mouth. His tongue moved over hers slowly, taking it's time to trace the inside of her, learning her taste and the way she moved. He sucked her lower lip into his mouth and Clary couldn't help the moan that escaped her throat, instantly reddening.

"Don't you dare blush now, Red," Jace murmured, pulling away and smiling down at her. "Not when you're making noises that hot." Clary didn't know how to answer, so she just reached forward to kiss him again. They fell asleep again, and when they woke up, Clary initiated the make out session. She rolled herself over so that she was on top of him, pushing up his shirt so that she could see his well defined abs. "See something you like, Red?" Jace asked with a cocky smirk.

"Wouldn't you like to know?" She shot back with a grin. She dropped her eyes back to his taunt stomach, tracing her fingers over his abdominal muscles, and then upward toward his chest. She felt him take in a sharp breath as her fingers brushed over his nipple and she quickly jerked her touch away. Jace grinned at her, his hands finding purchase at her hips and sliding under her shirt. She leaned forward and kissed him, tangling her fingers in his blonde hair, rubbing her nose against his. Jace responded eagerly, their kisses harder this time, quicker, his tongue flicking over hers, his hands moving up her back, scratching at her lightly with skin. She let out another moan, this time not pulling away and trying to cover up her sounds, letting Jace continue to touch her. He rubbed the outside globes of her breasts, and she arched her back, pulling back from his kiss so that he could palm her breasts through her shirt and bra. She could feel her nipples straining against the material, and there was an ache at her center that she had only ever felt once or twice before. She rubbed herself down on him, trying to relieve the ache, and his arousal pressed back into her, this time a grunt coming from Jace.

"Hey, Clary? Aline text me back, like, straight away and—oh," Isabelle froze in the doorway, letting out a laugh.

"Really, Izzy? Didn't even bother knocking?" Jace groaned as Clary quickly rolled off him and tried to straighten out her hair and her shirt.

"Well, I thought you guys were sleeping," she shrugged, looking completely unapologetic, and turned to Clary. "Anyway, Aline said that you could go in for an interview tomorrow? See if you like the place?" Clary nodded, unable to make eye contact with the taller girl. Isabelle grinned again. "Okay, see you lovers later," she called over her shoulder with a smirk. Jace looked over at Clary, reaching for her but she stopped his hand, laughing.

"No, Jace," she shook her head. "Moments gone."

"Fucking Izzy," Jace muttered. He ducked around her hand and banded his arm around her waist, pulling her back to his side.

We went to go and see Mad Max in the weekend and it was actually pretty good. I didn't really know what to expect but I actually quite enjoyed it. Tom Hardy is always a complete babe, and I love Charlize Theron. The other thing that has made me happy—or more just thankful—is the fact that me and my husband are healthy. I mean, a lot of what's going on right now is that there are two people who are really important to me who are unwell in one way or another, and I'm just glad that me and my hubby are good!
