I do not own ghost hunt ^.^

NORMAL P.o.V

Mai sat on the bed that was assigned to her and continued to stare at the wall. Naru had said that they would exercise the little girl in the morning, but everything in Mai's heart was telling her that they were wrong and that they shouldn't do it. Yes the little girl was the one that Mai had kept seeing in her dreams, but cases before had shown them that sometimes ghosts can be controlled by others. Why wasn't Naru thinking of that? Why was he now so casually throwing her instincts to the side when before he would follow them without question.

"Mai?"

The knock on the door and Kimi's voice took Mai out of her trance.

"Oh hey Kimi, yeah I'm in here. What's up?"

Kimi walked into the room and quickly closed the door behind herself, " Hey I know that it's a little late and you have to be up early tomorrow, but I wanted to talk to you. You seem stressed, are you okay?"

Mai slid onto the floor and pulled her knees into her chest, "Yea…No not really. I don't want to exercise Miaka."

Kimi cocked her head to the side, "That's the little girl right? But don't you keep dreaming about her killing you and your friends? You should have no problem getting rid of her."

"No. I mean yeah I have been seeing that…But something is telling me that she isn't the one doing all of this. And it is possible that something could be controlling her, it's happened before."

Kimi placed her hand on Mai's shoulder, "I feel like Naru knows what he's doing, from what I've heard from your friends he hasn't led you astray before."

Mai nodded her head, "Yea you're right…but…but," her voice started to shake, "But Kimi, I don't think…"

"Shh. Don't cry babygirl, its okay. You need to de-stress. Hey, I just got a new bath and spa kit from my dad, but it's really not my thing. Why don't you come over and use it? It'll help you calm down a lot, and that's probably what you need."

Mai shook her head, " No, no I need to be up early for the excersism."

"Come on Mai, trust me girl, you need this."

Mai stood in front of Kimi's apartment as she dug the keys out of her bag, wondering how she was going to explain to Naru whatsheI was doing if she were to get caught.

"Kimi, Kimi is that you, can I open the door if it's you Kimi?!"

"Uhh, Kimi. Is there a small child in your house?"

Kimi stuck the key into the hole, "Yea, my mom left me with my sister tonight, don't think you've met her. Her name is Tanya."

"Wait how old is she? Why did you leave her alone at the house?"

Kimi rolled her eyes and opened the door, falling to the ground as a tiny child tackled her.

"Tanya, Tanya, get off of me! And what did I say about making sounds when I was gone?"

A small child that barely came up to Mai's knees stood up with a sad look on her adorable face, "To not-ta."

Mai fell in love with Tanya instantly. She had her short black hair in pig-tails and had big Hazel eyes and a toothy grin, "Hello my name is Mai."

The little girl giggled at Mai and then took off running into the house. Kimi rolled her eyes but let a smile fall onto her face, "She's a handful sometimes, but she is my entire world. So you know where the bathroom is and the spa stuff is in the cabinet. There's a spare robe in there underneath it all. Oh, and also if you hear the door knob jiggle then I'm sorry because someone doesn't understand privacy."

Mai giggled and made her way down the hallway into the bathroom, "It's okay. She's cute by the way."

MAI'S P.o.V

I turned the water off and dropped the bath bomb into the tub. The bubble bath that Kimi had given me smelled of lavender and the bath salt like honey and milk. I inhaled and let my worries out with my breath.

Right now all I was going to focus on was how good everything was going to feel.

I took off the robe and slid myself into the steaming water, sinking myself completely leaving only my head out. As I felt my body go numb from the heat I began to think about Naru, and Gene. Who was Gene, that was something that I still didn't have an answer to. Naru had said it was someone close to him, and Gene said that he always looked like that. That didn't make any sense. That means that if He looked like Naru then he would have to be Naru, or a twin…

*knock knock.*

I jumped at the sound, but remembered what Kimi has said about Tanya, so I closed my eyes again, "No no Tanya."

The door knob began to jiggle and the door was quickly opened and shut again, followed by muffled giggling. I sighed but got myself

comfortable again, mentally thanking Kimi for this wonderful gift.

The room became silent again for the most part except for a small tapping on the door. At first I didn't even notice it, it didn't get any louder and continued to go at the same pace, but it was there.

"Tanya, please go play somewhere else."

The tapping continued and I got annoyed without meaning to. I kept telling myself that she was a little girl and they were rambunctious, but after a few more moments of it happening I decided that my bath, and almost nap, were over. I opened my eyes, looking straight up at the ceiling and noticed something out of the corner of my eye. I slowly turned my head and a scream caught in my throat.

"m-Miaka….."

You wanna know what's terrifying? Seeing a little dead girl standing outside of the tub, espicially when you are naked. I began to sit up when she smiled at me. A smile that was way to big for her face, and her bones began to rip through her skin.

"No…no…no"

I felt something go up my arms and looked down to see hands right as they grabbed me and pulled me under.

I was being pulled

Deeper then possible for a bath tub.

I felt the water get colder and colder before everything went dark.
