Enjoy!

"Oi Atsushi where's Himuro?" Everyone looked at Murasakibara in surprise as she walked into practice without Himuro by her side. It was a strange sight, the two aces had been joined at the hip not long after they met and to see Murasakibara without Himuro trailing after her with patient smiles and snacks was odd. The giant girl looked awfully lonely. Her amethyst eyes narrowed into a glare, "Muro-chin's with a girl. He told me to come without him." Her lips curled into an annoyed scowl and she stomped off towards the changing rooms ignoring her now gossiping teammates.

"Hey he probably got a confession! Lucky bastard."

"Damn Tatsuya…Double training when he comes…" Okamura wept angrily, why couldn't he get girls to confess their love to him?! He was the captain dammit! "No one in their right mind would confess to you." Liu sniffed, "If there's anything remotely interesting, did you see her face?" Fukui grinned amusingly, "Looked jealous to me." He paused, eyebrows furrowed. "…You don't think she was though? I mean she looked pissed." Everyone around him ceased their talk and thought about the possibility.

It wasn't really a crazy notion. It wasn't a secret that Himuro liked Murasakibara, otherwise why would someone put up with the lazy, spoiled center unless they liked her? And they couldn't really blame Himuro for liking her; she was pleasing to look at, kind of like the endearingly cute little sister type. Unless you were caught staring, she didn't like people staring and she tended to clamp her hands on the unfortunate fool's head and squeeze. "She is hot…" someone muttered thoughtfully and everyone nodded in agreement.

"She is. But why are you discussing that?" A calm cold voice interrupted behind them. They all jumped and turned to see an ever smiling Himuro regarding them icily with his single black eye. "You were just with a girl right? Did you accept the confession?" Okamura demanded desperately, ignoring Fukui and Liu who only rolled their eyes at him. "I was with a girl, but I didn't accept her feelings. Is Atsushi here already or did she wander off?" Fukui gave him a wicked grin, "She's here, but I think she's mad at you."

"Yeah she looked mad when she came in." Someone said and Himuro raised a delicate eyebrow in response, "You're late Muro-chin." Her voice was petulant and lazily annoyed, he knew automatically that maybe she was at least the tiniest bit mad. Before he knew it the heavy weight of her body settled on top of him, her arms wrapped lazily around his neck and her chin placed on top of his head, his head pillowed by her plump chest.

Someone nearby chocked.

"Hello Atsushi," He glanced up and was met with a small pout on her face, her violet eyes shimmering in disinterest and something that he couldn't really place. "Sorry, she was just a classmate." The apology had tumbled out of his mouth before he could catch himself but it seemed to be what Murasakibara wanted to hear because a content look filled her face, relaxing her features.

Everyone stared at the pair and thought shit.

"Fuck! Aomine move over!"

"YOU move over idiot!"

"Quit moving seriously! You're making it worse!" Both teenagers quit their struggling and growled when they realized that the pair was pressed chest to chest with their arms pinned to their sides by the black and red banner that the two were supposed to be putting up in the gym. "You just had to trip while you were on the ladder didn't you?" Wakamatsu groaned angrily, wriggling around trying to free himself while ignoring how close Aomine's face was to his. "I didn't trip! You probably moved it!" She snapped back glaring at him, she pulled back; maybe if she poked a hole in it somewhere she could free them.

Stupid banner. Stupid Imayoshi who thought it was a good idea to send the two of them to set up a stupid banner.

"If you hadn't been near the ladder, neither of us would be tangled right now!"

"Did you want to crack your head open?! Be thankful I caught you at all!"

The two stared heatedly at one another lapsing into another silence, Wakamatsu dully noted the shine in Aomine's indigo eyes, kinda like little stars on the night sky. He noticed the way her short, messy midnight blue hair curled a bit at the ends, the locks looked shiny and soft. He almost felt like running his hand through it-

The hell? Was he actually…?

"HELL NO!" Wakamatsu screamed and Aomine jumped at the sudden noise and in his hast to get away from her accidently went too far back and dragged Aomine with him. The added weight sent him sprawling on his back with the midnight-eyed girl falling on top of him, stunning him.

"Bastard what the hell was that for?" He opened his eyes, ready to respond to the insult, but then he noticed that instead of looking up into Aomine's face he was almost buried into her rather nice cleavage, his body going ridged. "Oi get your fat face out of my boobs!" The girl growled, trying to move back and only succeeded in rubbing them further into his face. He flushed fiercely and shut his eyes tightly. Fucking hell. He sincerely hoped that no one walked in and saw-

"What are you two doing?" Dammit, he had to go and say something. He cracked his eyes open and nearly groaned at the sight of an upside down Imayoshi of all people. "Imayoshi! Untangle us already!" Aomine demanded angrily, shifting her position slightly which only resulted in Wakamatsu being more acquainted with her upper body. He hated his life sometimes. He hated the brief thought that the movement fucking felt nice.

Imayoshi laughed (creep would find this funny!), "Alright, alright. No need to get hostile," He turned his gaze to Wakamatsu and he swore that the captain's smile turned into something dangerous, "Sorry but I'll have to cut your bonding time short." Wakamatsu wanted to punch him so bad. "Hurry the hell up already. I'm hungry." Aomine interrupted impatiently and if it wasn't for his view being occupied to another area, he would have seen that she was just as uncomfortable with their current position as he was.

"There ya two go." He watched in amusement as his two juniors flew away from one another, it was amazing to see that Wakamatsu's face wasn't red in anger for once. Aomine actually closed the top buttons of the dress shirt she wore as part of her uniform, a hardly noticeable smattering of red on her cheeks. "You two put up the stupid banner, I'm going home." She drawled out, turning away from both males pointedly and walking away without a backward glance.

Imayoshi turned to the blond, "All I asked was for you two to put up the welcome banner. You didn't have to check her out, and I specifically told everyone that no one on the team is allowed to approach her with amours intentions. "

"What?! As if I would ever check that brat out! It wasn't like I liked having her on top of me or anything like that!" He screeched angrily, face burning a bright red. His captain just openly laughed at him, god he hated his teammates. "Now, now no need to get all huffy." Wakamatsu cringed at the sight of Imayoshi's silted obsidian eyes, "Just a friendly reminder that's all." Imayoshi gripped Wakamatsu's shoulder and give it a hard squeeze,

"Well if you excuse me, I have to make sure a certain ace does not plan our murders."

No one could exactly pinpoint when the Generation of Miracles stopped smiling. Aomine was much more obvious, they'd watched as the blazing fire of determination dwindled down to a non-existent spark. Soon she stopped coming to practice. Momoi had tried to get Aomine to come to practice and like Kuroko, tried so hard to keep them together. But eventually he too got caught up in the hype of continues victory and was soon coming up with the most effective and blunt strategies to overwhelm and destroy opponents. Midorima came to practice, but she isolated herself to a distant corner of the large gym and would continuously shoot her three pointers. Never glancing over her shoulder at her teammates.

Murasakibara only came to practice sometimes. When she did, she would plop herself down on the bleachers and quietly eat her snacks watching with disinterest until she fell asleep. Kise came to practice more often than Murasakibara did but half the time she was engrossed with her adoring fans and she would more often than not leave early for a photo shoot. She was only ever serious when she played one-on-one with Aomine.

Akashi was always at practice. She was the captain and didn't bat an eyelash at what her fellow regulars did or didn't do. Like Midorima, she practiced diligently, but her focus had shifted from smooth team play to polish everyone's individual skills. Trainings grew more rigorous. Weak people, who had no place on her team, were weeded out in no time.

Haizaki had been long gone by the time the Miracles became consumed with overwhelming talent and victory, but she's watched from the shadows of the stands as her ex-teammates only drowned further and further in genius and she couldn't help but think that maybe it was a good thing that Akashi had banished her. Something in her, the very tiny soft spot left, ached in her to see what they were becoming. But it wasn't her business anymore, as she told Kuroko, she didn't give a shit anymore. She'd warned the blunette of what was likely coming and she hadn't listened.

Oh fucking well.

No one remembered Kuroko. No one noticed when she stopped coming to practice. They didn't realize that she hadn't been there since Teiko's third consecutive victory. Teiko spoke of victory only and the blunette was no longer a part of that language, in hindsight, no longer needed. So Kuroko had slipped away into the shadows without a word, forgotten and only occasionally tickling the distant thoughts of her ex-teammates. The only thing Kuroko had now were painful memories of what she once had and an agonizing hate for what she loved.

Is anyone else sad that KnB is going to end soon?

I am.

Thanks for reading everyone!
