"Hm? Did you guys forget to lock up the gym last night?" Imayoshi asked, everyone staring at the open and obviously unlocked gym doors in confusion. Usually everyone did a light warm up outdoors while they waited for Susa or Imayoshi to open the gym up (now Wakamatsu's job). But it was obvious someone had come earlier, question was who? "Maybe Momoi-kun?" Sakurai's tiny voice spoke up, "…Or someone broke in?" he added quietly, nervously shifting behind Wakamatsu who snorted and walked forward toward the door.

He peeked in, "…What…?" Imayoshi sauntered over to the stunned looking blond, peeking over the center's shoulder, "My, this is surprising." He said lightly, slight awe decorating his voice which prompted the rest of Touou to trickle into the gym and stare at the two moving figures who still hadn't noticed their audience. "That's twice the amount you said you'd do Dai-chan." Momoi stated, looking down at his clip board, recording the number of laps Aomine had just done. "Do you want to stop for now? We've been here for a while."

Aomine walked over to the bleachers and plopped down heavily, grabbing her towel and whipping the sweat off her drenched face, chest heaving with effort to replenish air. "I'll keep going, it's not enough. Just five minutes and then I'll do dribbling practice." Momoi nodded and happened to glance over at the door and finally noticed their audience.

"Morning everyone! You guys are early- oh practice officially started." He said, staring down at the time on his cell phone. "Dai-chan we've been here for two hours," Aomine blinked, "Shit we got here early." She said stretching out on the bench like a cat, yawning while doing so.

"So? Are we gonna start practice then?" She looked at Wakamatsu lazily.

"What?" He asked, unsure if he had just heard Aomine of all people ask about practice. He could count on one hand how many times Aomine had bothered to show up from practice, and now her she was two hours before practice actually started. Not only was the dark skinned power forward warmed up but she was willing to stay and do morning practice with the team instead of going off somewhere to nap. Aomine's presence was here was a miracle in its self.

If nothing else, it showed how much her loss to Kagami had affected her.

"You deaf? We're gonna start practice right?" Everyone gaped at the Touou Ace in shock; Aomine noticed this and scowled darkly. Imayoshi laughed, "Don't get angry, were just surprised that you would grace us with your lovely presence is all."

Her nose scrunched up, "Ew. Don't ever say that again evil glasses." Susa sighed, "Let's just get started alright?" Wakamatsu took that as his cue.

"Alright everyone line up for shooting practice!"

"Are you going somewhere?" Hayama spun himself on the revolving chair, ignoring how Mibuchi glared at him from the corner of his eye for his improper use of the chair. "Nowhere in particular, just dinner with the son of my father's new associate later tonight." Hayama blanched, "Boring, we could have practiced longer." Nebuya looked up from his muscle building magazine, "Hey want me to punch the guy out so that you don't have to go? I can do it!"

"Brutes. You can't do that, ignore him Sei-chan." Mibuchi scolded, not looking up from his meticulous work on fixing Akashi's bangs, determined to repair the damage she had inflicted on her beautiful hair at the beginning of the Winter Cup. Akashi didn't resist the small smile that made its way on her face, "Not necessary but thank you for the offer. I don't expect to stay out late."

"Done! What do you think Sei-chan?" Akashi looked at her reflection in the hand mirror he held up for her to see. Her bangs had been fixed for one they hung evenly on her forehead in strands while her long hair had been curled and was now tied in a simple pony tail over her right shoulder.

Mibuchi had carefully applied a small amount of mascara on her eyelashes in order to draw attention to her shinning ruby eyes, while her lips had the thinnest amount of lip stick. Akashi wore a shoulder hanging dress that delicately accented her curves that ended a little before her knees and a black sash tied around her middle. A pair of black low heels that wrapped around her ankles in thin straps completed the outfit.

"Thank you, it looks excellent."

"Akashi-sama do you wish for me to wait for you here?" She shook her head negatively.

"It won't be necessary, this might take a while." He bowed and she watched as he drove off. She then sighed and walked into the, admittedly not as upscale as she thought it would be, restaurant. She was led to her table and was surprised to find that the person she was supposed to meet was already there. She blinked in open surprise once she got closer and realized that she actually knew this boy.

Furihata Kouki, wore a brown suit with a red tie with his hair brushed slightly in an attempt to tame his wind swept hair, stood up at the sight of her and offered a shaky smile. "G-good evening Akashi-san. Ah! Let me…" He went around the table to her side and pulled the chair out for her, "Thank you," She waited until he was seated. "I didn't know that you were the son of my father's associate."

He looked at her sheepishly, "I'm not, the one you were supposed to meet was a cousin of mine and he got sick a few days ago and didn't want to cancel the meeting so he asked if I could go for him."

He sucked in a nervous breath, "Sorry, hope you don't mind." He fidgeted in his seat before finally looking at her in the eye, "Y-you look nice t-today." He stuttered out, his face going slightly red in embarrassment. Oddly she found it endearing.

"Thank you, you look good this evening too. I think this evening is already better than I hoped." She replied. "It is much better dinning with someone that has some common interest as you rather than a stranger."

He gave her a bright grin, "Really? I-I'm glad then! So…uhm…how's your team doing?"

She returned the grin with a smile of her own, "Quite well, we're going on our summer camp soon…"

Yes, Akashi thought, this evening is much more interesting.

"I'm not sure weither to feel sorry or mad at Kagami right now." Koganei says, everyone looking over at the table that was aptly called the 'we don't know them' table. Kasamatsu glared at the loud table of four as they watched Midorima grab the back of Kise's shirt to keep the model from leaping over the table to wrap her arms around Kuroko. The latter choose to ignore this in favor of her menu while Kagami looked like he wanted to anywhere but there.

"Don't be mad Midorimacchi," Kise pouted, "It's not our fault that we choose the restaurant where you and Takao we're gonna have your date-" She was cut off midsentence as Midorima shoved the towel she had around her shoulders into the model's face.

"Kise! Don't spread such lies!"

"I did not know you and Takao were dating, it's a little soon don't you think Kagami?" Midorima glared at the little blunette who choose that moment to speak up, and of course, against Midorima. The red headed teen flinched as Midorima transferred her glare to him, daring him to say anything.

"Don't drag me into this! I don't care." He said, going back to eyeing his food hungrily as it cooked, "Do not drool on the table, it's unsanitary." The shooter scolded, Kise nodded sagely next to her, "It really is unattractive Kagamicchi, girls don't like guys that drool."

His head whipped at her beat red, "W-why would I care if a girl likes that are not idiot?! And I wasn't drooling!" Kuroko's lip twitched slightly, "…I saw you salivate a bit when the food came."

"I didn't!" He growled.

Kise have him a sly smile, "…Or could it be that Kagamicchi was drooling over one of us?" She ignored the chocking sounds that sounded from the table behind her. She reached over and patted his arm, "We're flattered~" She said cheerfully.

"Speak for yourself." Midorima stated coldly.

Kagami's face burned red. "I-I'm not drooling over anything! Especially you people!" At that everyone fell silent and he realized what he had just said. He distantly heard Izuki mutter, 'Bakagami.'

Midorima gave him a scathing glare but said nothing.

"Ehh…so Kagamicchi doesn't think we're pretty?" Kise pouted, her golden eyes going large and teary.

He looked away from the blond and flinched as Kuroko fixed him with a look. "Kagami is rude." Kuroko said in her deadpanned tone.

"W-wait that's n-not what I meant!"

"…So you were drooling over us?"

"I wasn't drooling!"

Behind them Kasamatsu banged his head on the table, Takao laughed without restraint and Seirin just watched with pity and amusement. "Man, wish I had a camera! This is gold!" Takao snickered, getting ready to flip his beef and green onion okonomiyaki. He flipped it and waited for it to come down, it didn't come though.

SPLAT!

The 'we don't know them' table feel silent and all eyes landed on Midorima, her head dripping with okonomiyaki, stood up stiffly, shoulders shaking with a calm rage. "Takao" She growled before she turned towards her teammate and grabbed the back of his jacket. "W-wait S-Shin-chan! It was an accident! I swear!" He cried, arms flailing in desperation as his teammate dragged him out of his seat.

The teens watched in silence as the two Shutoku players left the restaurant, shouts and pained cries fading into the distance.
