"You sure you're okay?" Kagami glanced down at the blunette spread out on the bench; the top of her tiny head pressed lightly against his thigh. Kuroko's lips twitched in a small smile, "I'm fine, I shouldn't have stayed in the onsen so long anyway."

"Somehow I'm not surprised you can't last long in hot water." He huffed, searching her slightly flushed face for…anything really. Kuroko had been alone with Aomine for several minutes and there was no telling what had been said in that time. He found himself subconsciously looking for any signs of hurt, a reflection of the pain the blunette tended to wear in her eyes whenever Aomine, Teiko or their loss to her during Inter-High was mentioned.

She held up a fist, "No, just about to tell her that Seirin would win next time."

"Of course." He grinned as he bumped his fist into hers'.

"Just you wait; we'll get stronger and kick her ass."

"I want to meet your family."

Is what Himuro said, and Murasakibara agreed to it readily, it seemed like no big deal at the time. So when the Yosen students had a rare four day weekend with no basketball practice on top of that, Murasakibara took Himuro with her to visit her family in Tokyo and the raven haired teen would also take the chance to visit his brother.

She regretted the decision.

It turned out that her eldest brother and sister were also on a four day vacation from university (they attended the same one) and wanted to come down to visit (and her other brothers were due to visit the next day). And while she wouldn't have cared if her brothers and sister were home, the way her siblings had locked onto Himuro worried her. Especially the way Akira (the eldest) glared at her teammate the second he stepped through the door. Her sister, Mio had taken one look at Himuro and brightened up at the sight of him, (shamelessly) looking at his features.

"Who's your friend Atsushi?" Mio asked, violet eyes shimmering as her teammate bowed to her siblings. "Sorry for the intrusion, my name is Himuro Tatsuya." He gave the older girl a charming smile, Murasakibara narrowed her eyes as her sister giggled. "So polite, you two must be tired from the trip. Can I get you some water? Tea? Soda?" She offered politely, "Atsushi, why don't you go upstairs and freshen up, don't worry we'll keep your friend accompanied." Next to her, Akira nodded eagerly "It's okay sis, I wanna chat with your teammate about basketball since I play too."

Both her siblings ignored her glowering and she reluctantly left Himuro in the clutches of her siblings.

"Your family was nice, especially your brother." Himuro remarks, watching Murasakibara try to choose between sweet bq or chili lemon favored chips. She turned and stared at his as if he was crazy. "I was gone ten minutes, I come back and you and my brother were wrestling on the ground. He's bigger than you."

"We were bonding."

"He looked like he was trying to crush you."

"Details, besides do you want know what we were talking about?" Her eyes narrow in suspicion; she recalled how her sister stood on the sidelines and watched their brother man handle Himuro. Mio had taken one look at her giggled and winked. As if she knew some great secret that Murasakibara should know but didn't.

"…What'd they tell you?"

Himuro smiled innocently, "Oh nothing much really, just your sister mentioning that you've never gone out with a boy before and how nice she thought I was and she suggested this place that she thought we could go together." He paused, "It was around that time that your brother and I started wrestling. He was saying something along the lines of watching my back-"

"I'm done." She said abruptly picking up her full to the brim basket and hurriedly making a bee line to the cashier. Himuro caught up to her easily and placed her other basket of snacks for the cashier.

"Muro-chin you shouldn't listen to my brother or sister, they say a lot of crazy things." He shot her a knowing look, "I thought our talk was interesting to say the least. Should we go to that place she mentioned anyway? Mio said that there's some good food there."

She refused to look at him; she could feel his gaze exploring her face, trying to see if he's elicited some reaction from her. She wasn't dumb; she knew exactly what her sister had been implying. Murasakibara would have scoffed at the implication, but she realized with something akin to horror that she wasn't…wholly appalled by the idea.

"Yeah, I heard they have good lemon crumb cake."

Nijimura scowls as he spots, yet again, another group of onlookers watching first string's practice session on the outside courts. Normally he wouldn't have a problem with on lookers; he liked how the school watched them in awe. He couldn't put his fingers on it, but something about the way the male population watched was…disconcerting.

He shrugged it off, so what if the guys watched intently? It wasn't like they were bothering-

"Nijimura I think we have a problem." Masaya* said, his voice tight with something fierce that it sent alarm bells in his head.

"What is it?" He replied apprehensively.

"I don't think these guys are actually here to watch us practice." He said bluntly.

Nijimura raised an eyebrow, "Then…?"

"The girls are growing again, we know it and so do they." The raven haired third year replied, his gaze shifting over to the now resting second years, Murasakibara sprawled over half the bench, long arms stretching above her. Akashi gracefully sweeping her long perfect hair into a loose tail. Midorima pulled the color of her t-shirt and fanned herself with an orange paper fan, next to her Aomine greedily guzzled down water, ribbons of escaped drops cascading down her throat. Kise had removed her t-shirt (again) leaving only a loose tank top on, Kuroko sat in-between her and Aomine and didn't bat an eyelash when the tanned skinned girl poured half a water bottle on her head most of it ending up on the front of her shirt.

Nijimura stares at the scene, blinks once and truly looks at them. Masaya has a point, they have grown. The Miracles are taller, muscles more defined; curves that he didn't pay attention to before were defiantly more there.

"We're usual around them so we didn't notice." The long-haired teen remarked as if knowing what he was thinking. "Until now anyway, Sekiguchi* almost cussed some first years out when they whistled at Haizaki the other day. He's the one who actually noticed first."

"God damn brats," He cursed under his breath, "Damn kids shouldn't even be thinking like that." Then they both heard the distinctive shutter of a camera. Specifically, a second year from a group of little shits who just took a picture of his kohais with his goddamn phone.

"No photos!" He growled, snatching the brat's phone and promptly deleting it before any of them realized what he'd just done.

"Hey-!" the second year began but stopped and paled at the vicious glare the third year sent him.

"No pictures allowed during practice! Masaya, tell Akashi we're ending practice early today and for all of them to wait for me at the school gates!" He barked out, shoving the kid's phone back at him a final glare sending him and his friends scattering.

"Wonder why Nijimuracchi cut practice?"

Midorima shrugged, "Perhaps he had a prior engagement? If so he should have told Akashi in advance, did he say anything to you?"

"No, but it was strange how both Masaya-senpai and Sekiguchi-senpai seemed bothered too. They didn't even make us or the first years clear up the equipment."

Aomine yawned, "Well whatever it is let's hope Nijimura hurries up. Tetsu wanna play one-on-one after Maji?" Kuroko nodded absentmindedly, flipping a page of her novel.

"Can we stop at the convenience store first? I need more snacks." Murasakibara added, staring at her half full bag mournfully. Momoi patted her shoulder comfortingly, offering the violet eyed girl his melon bread.

"Aww hell, don't tell me you guys are waiting for Nijimura too." Haizaki drawled as she came to a stop in front of the group, her eyes automatically locking into golden orbs in a glare.

Kise smirked, "And so what if we are? Problem?"

Kuroko looked up from her book, "Don't let Nijimura catch you two fighting again." She warned, giving both girls a meaningful look. Aomine snickered as both teens shuddered at the memory.

"You two have better not be fighting." Nijimura scolded, coming up behind Haizaki who huffed and grumbled under her breath. "We weren't fighting."

"So why did you want to meet us here?" Akashi asked and raised an eyebrow when the third year looked away and scratched the back of his head nervously. "Is everything alright?" Midorima questioned next noting the raven haired teen's response.

"Ice cream," He replied, "I…uh have some business in the direction you guys are going, I wanted to tag along. So I'll treat you to ice cream." He added at the confused looks the second years gave him.

"Is that why you ended practice early?" Kise asked.

"Yup, graduation stuff." He replied ignoring the questioning look Akashi sent him. There was no need for him to tell them that he intended to walk them home just so that they weren't approached by some lecherous bastard. God dammit, he hated puberty.

Kinda short, next one should be longer.

The two guys with the * mark? They're actual characters if anyone's wondering. But Murasakibara's siblings names are of my creation, as far as I know they have no actual cannon names.

Thanks for reading~!
