"Don't see why I have to study with you." Aomine complained, taking care to perch herself onto Imayoshi's couch and stretching over it languidly as if she owned it, uncaring at the moment if her uniform hiked up her legs. He didn't say anything about the fact that she was inappropriately sprawled out over his furniture, "If you continue with your current grades then you'll be kicked off the team and quite frankly Momoi needs time to study himself." He smirks at her and for whatever reason; the smile makes a chill go down her spine.
"Don't worry, under my tutelage you'll be in shape for your exams in a span of two weeks." He said holding out a cold Pocari drink for her, "Really Aomine, how did you survive with these grades?" She shrugged, "Satsuki's notes and Midorima's pencil." Not bothering to explain the doubtable question of what and quite frankly Imayoshi was unwilling to open that can of worms.
"I was busy playing." She remarks instead and Imayoshi pauses and thinks, a younger happier Aomine, playing basketball with her teammates and not alongside. An Aomine that played basketball nonstop in rain and snow and heat, one that laughed and smiled as she raced by her opponents overwhelmingly strong but beautiful. Aomine Daiki, Teiko's pride and joy. Of course that was all before Teiko philosophy and talent wormed their way into her head.
He could imagine the usual smirk slip into a smile, a gorgeous one, Imayoshi was willing to bet.
"Don't you have to study for some college exam or something?" She said, breaking him out of his train of thought.
"Oh I didn't you were so concerned with my educational future." He replied smirking slightly.
She blanched and her face pinked slightly, "Idiot, don't get the wrong idea! I'm just saying!"
Imayoshi laughed, "C'mon let's get down to business."
~Several Hours Later~
Imayoshi hummed, "You know for someone who's terrible in academics, you catch on pretty quickly."
Aomine smirked, "That's because I'm a lot smarter than you assholes think."
"I agree, we had you pegged wrong." Imayoshi smirked at the caught off look on the ace's face. Whatever she was expecting him to say, it defiantly wasn't that. She stared suspciouesly at him,
"…I'll admit you're not a bad tutor." She replied with some reluctance. To be honest she had expected Imayoshi to be punishing in his teaching like he used to be at practice. But surprisingly, he was patient and direct with her, helping her reach the answers instead of asking her questions that she had to search the books to find answers.
It was nice and Aomine would admit that the study session hadn't been boring at least.
"Good to know I'm doing some good. But I think we've done enough for one day," He stretched his arms and glanced out the window. "You should stay for dinner; I'll walk you home after words."
"Depends, what are we having?"
"Grilled eel with rice and miso."
"Alright sounds good to me."

Takes place a month after the dinner meeting and during chapter 21:
"Hey Furihata wanna come over and play some games on Saturday?" Fukuda asked grinning; Kawahara nodded eagerly on Furihata's other side. "Kagami and Kuroko are coming too and we're probably gonna play some street ball." Kawahara added.
"Sounds great but I uh got plans this Saturday, maybe next time?" Kawahara raised an eyebrow, "That's what you said last time too you know." The brunette nervously scratched the back of his head, "Sorry, but I really can't this weekend." Both watched as the PG's face grew slightly pink and both stared as he shuffled down the hallway.
"That's what he said but he wouldn't say what he was doing. He always avoided answering!" Kawahara finished explaining, looking expectantly at Kagami and Kuroko.
"…I guess it's weird that he won't say anything, but it's his business." The red-head answered stuffing an onigiri into his mouth eagerly. Kuroko sipped at her milkshake that Fukuda had graciously made for her, "It's not so unusual," she said, "I imagine he's busy."
Fukuda snapped his fingers, "Oh! Maybe he's busy meeting with a girl?" Kawahara snorted, "You really think so? He can hardly look any girl in the eye." Kagami glanced at Kuroko and noted the way her doe eyes shifted minutely as their teammates continued to imagine Furihata's imaginary girl.
"Knowing him, I bet his girl would be the cute shy type."
The blunette couldn't help but giggle lightly through her straw, ha ha.
Shy indeed.
Kagami decided that whatever Kuroko knew about their teammate's disappearance on the weekends was none of his business if that giggle was anything to go by. Kuroko didn't giggle like that, ever, even if it was kinda of cute.
Nope, he didn't want to know.
"Guys I got it," Fukuda said hitting his fist on his hand, "Next time Furi ditches us, we'll follow and see who he's meeting!"
"I'm out." Kagami said bluntly.
"I'm in." Kawahara agreed.
"…No thank you."
The brunette rounded on the light-shadow duo, "Aren't you two at least a little curious about who Furihata's seeing?"
"Not really." The red head replied, stuffing another onigiri into his mouth.
Kuroko shrugged, "It's not really any of our business." That and she didn't want to think about what would happen if Akashi found out that she was being stalked by her 'date's' teammates. Not to mention Furihata would never hear the end of it from their fellow first years.
"Aww you guys are no fun." Kawahara said.

"I'm coming back to Japan." Himuro's eye's widened in surprise.
"That's good to hear Shuu, is it permanent?" Nijimura nodded, the computer screen lagged a little. "Yeah my Dad's recovered completely that we can come back."
"Have you chosen a school yet or decided to continue playing basketball? You could always come to Yosen."
Nijimura huffed, "I'm already planning on attending Meiko High*, they have a good Marital Arts Club and I'll be coming back just in time to be able to do some tournaments before the seasons over."
"And basketball?" Himuro pressed.
Nijimura snorted, "Playing was fun but I feel like I've passed on the torch to those geniuses so it's not like I need to be there."
Something mischievous passed in the other teen's steel eyes and Nijimura felt a shiver travel down his spine.
"Ahh you mean the Miracles right? They play basketball really well, as you said before, geniuses."
Nijimura narrowed his eyes suspiciously.
"They're pretty too; do you think they have boyfriends?"
"They better not." Nijimura growled without thinking, "What's your point?"
Himuro stifled a small laugh and smiled innocently, "Nothing just that they're lovely ladies that can play basketball better than anyone else."
"…Have you played them?"
"Yes, in fact-"
"Muro-chin, baths free~"
Nijimura watched as Himuro turned to look at someone off the screen, "Alright Atsushi, I left some Pocari on the desk if you want any."
The raven haired teen chocked as Murasakibara Atsushi appeared on the screen clad in only a fucking towel.
"Who're you talking to Muro-chin?" The violet haired girl drawled.
"Tatsuya! You bastard, why is she- why are you in her room while she's bathing?!" He growled out finally, Himuro ignored him and smiled pleasantly at the tall girl.
"A friend who's in America. I think you know him."
Murasakibara looked at the screen and stared at Nijimura in what could only be blank surprise, and then her lips tilted into a lazy, happy smile.
"Niji-chin it's been a long time~"
Nijimura sighed, "Hey brat, how long are you going to stand there? Put some cloths on!" God he already felt a headache coming.
"Oh yeah, forgot about that." Then she glared, without any real heat, at Himuro, "You're staring."
"Sorry."
"No you're not, im gonna get dressed." She turned back to the screen, "Talk to you later?" A childish hope gleamed in her amethyst eyes that Nijimura couldn't resist a small smile.
"Yeah, I'll call again soon, promise." She nodded her consent, took one last hard look and went off screen.
Then he glared at Himuro, "Wait until I get to Japan."
Himuro smirked slightly, "We're just roommates."
"Wait until I get there."
"Hahaha, I look forward to it. But it's bath time so call me again when you're gonna land." He waved at the screen and logged off.
Nijimura's eye twitched.
Hope you guys enjoyed~~
