Authors Note: Hey everyone, sorry about the extremely long wait for the next chapter, I've been working with other stories as well, and then there was an incident where I temporarily lost my sight, so I couldn't write, I know that's no excuse for the extremely long wait, but I wanted to let you know. I know this chapter is short, but the next chapter will most likely be the longest. I'll have the new chapter up within a month because I'm actually communicating to people on how to write a better court case in this story. Again sorry about the wait due to the incident, and enjoy this short chapter. And to those that PM me to continue the story to not give up on it, thank you, but I'm not going to give up on it. 3 weeks have passed since Naruto and Sai's meeting at Gaara's home, the scars have yet to fade on Naruto's body.
Naruto was getting ready, today will be the first day he sees Sasuke again since the incident, but it will also be the last time if everything goes as Sai said it would.
*a knock on the door*
"Come in." Naruto said as he put on his black vest over his orange dress shirt, his sleeves were rolled up to his elbows. He already had on his black slacks and orange shoes.
Gaara's entered the room, he was wearing almost the same outfit as Naruto except for it being a red dress shirt instead of orange and same for the shoes they were red instead of orange. "Almost ready to go Naruto?" Gaara's said as he sat on the edge of Naruto's bed. "Yeah, I just need to find a way to tame my hair." Naruto said as he tried taking a brush through it for the first time in weeks. Gaara held in a laugh watching Naruto struggle with his hair. He got up silently and went behind Naruto, "sit down I'll do your hair, you look like your about to pull it all out from frustration." Gaara said calmly into Naruto's ear. Naruto sat down at the desk chair as Gaara told him to and let Gaara do his hair. Gaara's surprisingly smooth fingers ran through Naruto's hair along with the brush easily taking the tangles out. Naruto actually found Gaaras touch to be smoothing and it was actually relaxing his stressed body.
"Wake up -" Naruto moved his eyes slowly "wake up Naruto" he heard it again and he slowly opened his eyes. Had he fallen asleep when Gaara was brushing his hair? Gaara chuckled, "it's time to go. Naruto nodded in his haze and followed Gaara to the car where Temari and Kankuro were already waiting.
"Come on Uchiha, it's time to go." A man said as he walked into Sasukes cell and put the ankle cuffs on and hand cuffs on him. "So it's finally my court date when I can get freed from this hell whole." Sasuke smirked ruining he would win the court case because of his money. "Depends on how the case goes Uchiha now walk." Sasuke did as the man told and walked to the police car that would transport him to his court case against Naruto.
It was time for Naruto and Sasuke to face each other once again, but this time in court in the Uchiha v. Uzumaki.
