Ronald Weasley was utterly confused.

Hermione, his best friend, whom he'd secretly had a crush on, had just kissed him. He had no idea what was going on. Nor did he have an idea what to do. He just sat there on the floor and stared at Hermione's sleeping form. She really was beautiful. The way her curly hair fell so easily around her face was so mesmerizing. Her eyebrows scrunched together when she was sleeping, giving off the impression that her mind was still whirring, even when she was sleeping. She snored lightly as she slept, and soon after, Ron fell asleep, as well, contemplating the events of the night.

When Ron awoke in the morning, Hermione's bed was empty. He jumped up frantically, looking around.

"Hermione? Hermione! Where are you?" Fearing the worse, he tore through the small room, looking around and under every nook and cranny.

Suddenly the door burst open, and Ron nearly fell over.

"Ronald? Why are you shouting my name? I'm right here." She answered. She was positively glowing. Her brown eyes were shining and she was holding a plate of food. "I thought I'd bring you some breakfast, since you're always hun-" Hermione didn't finish her sentence. Ron taken the tray, placed it on the floor, and had proceeded to embrace Hermione, lightly pecking her on the lips, until pecks turned into a full blown kiss. A couple minutes later, she pulled away, pink in the face.

"Well, good morning to you too, Ronald." She said shyly.

"Hey! Don't you ever do that again! Leave a note or something! Scared me half to death," he exclaimed.

"Well, I'm sorry, I didn't want to wake you," she laughed nervously. "So, when I went for breakfast, there was a much nicer lady available to speak to. She told me that we are actually not that far from Surrey. We're still in London though. I guess we hadn't travelled that far. Maybe there's some sort of Muggle transportation to get to once we're back in the city area?"

"Um, I guess. From what it looks like, we need to head to the city. I dunno how we ended up so far out here," Ron remarked.

"Didn't you follow a cloud or something?" Hermione laughed.

"Humph. Well I'm glad you're laughing about it," Ron muttered. "Anyway, let's pack up and go. The sooner we get there, the sooner we can find Ginny and Harry,".

As he said this, the two grabbed their rucksacks and left the little room.

As they walked, well into the afternoon, Ron's mood began to worsen. Hermione knew he was hungry, but there was nowhere to eat yet. The road was rather desolated. They passed a few shops here or there, but nowhere that served food or drinks. As it began to get dark, Hermione began to worry that they'd have to sleep in the street. Then, she smelled bread and happily beckoned Ron over and pushed the door open. It was a small bakery. Immediately, Ron brightened up. Hermione's attention had fallen on the fireplace.

On the mantelpiece of the fireplace of what looked like a bakery. The book read "The Household Book of Spells: Volume I." Whoever this was, was a witch or wizard. Hermione walked over to the book and opened it.

"Excuse me! What sort of person walks into another person's shop and starts snooping around!" A plump lady came out from the back of the shop with a very mad expression on her face.

"Well what type of person leaves a spell book open in what's supposed to be a muggle shop!" Hermione retorted. The woman looked taken aback. Then she glanced over at Ron.

"Charlie Weasley?" she asked. "Haven't seen you since you were a baby. My, you have grown,".

"I'm not Charlie, my name is Ron. Hang on, how do you know Charlie?" Ron eyed her, hunger replaced with curiosity.

"Molly needed a babysitter, occasionally, when there were meetings. Hang on- did you say you were Ronald Weasley? As in the friend of Harry Potter? You must be Hermione Granger then?" She asked.

Hermione looked taken aback. This woman was a stranger to them, yet she seemed like a friend. Nonetheless, Hermione took out her wand, and nodded.

"My name is Amanda Bones, surely you know my niece, Susan? You have to listen to me! Harry was taken today, when I brought him to Diagon Alley. By Death Eaters! We went into a shop and the next thing I know, he had a shield up between himself and me and the shopkeeper. I figured it out to late! He was trying to protect us. I just spoke to the Order, they're trying to find him." She explained in one breath.

Neither of them noticed her wand in her left hand, silently locking the door.

"They also said something else. They told me that you two might be about looking for him. Harry, I mean."

Hermione tightened her grip on her wand, only to find it knocked out of her hand two seconds later. A nonverbal spell.

"I'm so sorry. They told me to keep you two here, until someone arrived to get you. And Ginny. Do you know where she is? It's for your own safety." She finished.

"No we don't!" Ron raised his wand. Shortly after, Hermione heard his head hit the floor. He was stunned.

She tried to grab for Amanda's wand, only to meet the floor a couple seconds later.

Amanda Bones waived her hands frantically. She really wanted to help them, but Dumbledore said to keep them safe at all costs. She closed the windows of her shop, and levitated them both to the backroom. Then she dropped some Floo Powder into the fire and stuck her head in.

"Amanda?"

"Remus! I've got them! They came in here looking for Harry. I've stunned them both. Send someone to retrieve them."
